[00:00:05] Speaker A: You are listening to an atomic broadcasting. [00:00:08] Speaker B: Production, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the feature presentation. [00:00:13] Speaker A: And remember, do your part, such as like comment rate. And don't forget to tell a friend to tune in for an atomic time. [00:00:32] Speaker C: Now, where did we leave off? Seeking the meaning of the runes. Uwe and Alward lost consciousness after successfully tracing a rune in Alward's translation book. Meanwhile, Zephyr had a nightmare where his terrifying stalker mocked him, insisting he would never have a family without first speaking with him. I learned something interesting about the mechanics that answers a question that we've had about how to play this game for a while. Oh, there's actually a specific segment in the rulebook that says if you proc a reaction when you take a move action, if you are leaving the space, the reaction happens before you finish your action. But if you stay in your space, it happens after your action. So if you're standing up from prone, you finish standing from prone and then they get their opportunity attack. The only caveat would be if you're using a reaction that disrupts the move action. So if you're standing from prone and a Ranger uses their opportunity attack, then you're still prone when they hit you. [00:01:47] Speaker B: Is that what that Reddit post was about? [00:01:49] Speaker C: Yes. [00:01:49] Speaker B: Okay. I saw it and then proceeded to. [00:01:51] Speaker C: Not read it because I've always wondered, like, if a fighter uses an opportunity attack on a goblin who's prone when the goblin's standing up, is the goblin flat footed to that or not? [00:02:02] Speaker D: Yeah, because it interrupts movement. Doesn't. [00:02:05] Speaker C: The fighter does. [00:02:06] Speaker D: No, no. The monk does. [00:02:07] Speaker C: The monk can get standstill. [00:02:09] Speaker B: Ranger does. [00:02:09] Speaker C: The Rangers does by default. [00:02:11] Speaker B: Oh, are you looking at me? I'm not a Ranger. [00:02:14] Speaker D: You've played Rangers. [00:02:15] Speaker B: You're right. I do usually play Rangers. [00:02:17] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:02:17] Speaker D: But I feel like he's played at least two. [00:02:19] Speaker B: I have. I've played more than. [00:02:22] Speaker E: Right. [00:02:23] Speaker A: All right. Competition. [00:02:25] Speaker E: What a flex. [00:02:26] Speaker C: Okay, probably, it's probably going to be out in the variety hour by now. But in the Dragon hunt game that Sven was not there before, Sam was playing a ranger with a boomerang. [00:02:39] Speaker D: He like, soloed everyone. [00:02:41] Speaker F: It was really nice. [00:02:42] Speaker B: Boomerangs are my favorite weapon, Baron. [00:02:45] Speaker D: I was playing a barbarian that could deal like four d twelve plus ten, plus two, plus one d six. Persistent bleed damage on almost every hit and he soloed everyone. [00:02:58] Speaker B: Tpk if I wasn't there. [00:03:01] Speaker D: Yes. It's kind of bonkers. [00:03:03] Speaker F: It's a boomerang. [00:03:05] Speaker B: I critted the boss at least once. [00:03:07] Speaker C: I think it was a total of three crits. But, I mean, it's recorded. The audience will know the truth. [00:03:13] Speaker B: It's great. I think one of them. We realized my math was messed up and I shouldn't have Crit, but it didn't make a big difference. [00:03:21] Speaker E: I'm still stuck on how a boomerang made you, like, Crit King. [00:03:26] Speaker B: I made a build around having a vandalier of boomerangs. [00:03:29] Speaker D: It was beautiful. [00:03:30] Speaker B: And I just rolled well enough to. [00:03:32] Speaker F: Crit a lot because boomerang. [00:03:34] Speaker E: So that's why you soloed everything. [00:03:36] Speaker B: It's just that I did really well with my boomerang build because if I miss, my boomerang comes right back. [00:03:41] Speaker F: Have you ever been hit with a boomerang? [00:03:43] Speaker B: It hurts. [00:03:44] Speaker E: I mean, I've been hit with sticks. [00:03:45] Speaker F: Well, in an episode of Sherlock, someone was actually killed by a boomerang. [00:03:51] Speaker A: That is a tv show. [00:03:53] Speaker F: Makes me sad. [00:03:54] Speaker E: It does make me sad. I love that show. [00:03:56] Speaker B: I watched Mad Max, the Road Warrior, and a little kid has a boomerang and takes off a couple of people's fingers and such with it, throwing it around. [00:04:04] Speaker D: Is that a tv show? [00:04:05] Speaker B: It's a movie. [00:04:06] Speaker D: Is it the first second. [00:04:07] Speaker B: The second one? I own the two pack of the second and third. I thought the Road Warrior was the first one. Then I realized it wasn't. But it has an entire recap of the first movie, so I didn't need to see it. [00:04:17] Speaker A: I guess that, I believe, is also not accurate. That would happen. [00:04:22] Speaker B: Thank you. [00:04:24] Speaker A: I guess it depends on the. [00:04:25] Speaker B: It was probably shocked. [00:04:26] Speaker D: I feel like there are boomerangs that have, like, metal on it. I specifically used for a weapon, probably. [00:04:31] Speaker A: I saw a video the other day where somebody froze a sock. It was in Antarctica, but they threw it and it came right back to them. [00:04:38] Speaker B: All boomerangs are weapons, Jenkins. [00:04:40] Speaker A: So it was like a long sock. So it was like a boomerang shape. [00:04:43] Speaker F: Okay, I'm going to cutting. Interesting. [00:04:48] Speaker B: They're typically blunt objects. [00:04:50] Speaker F: They can cause a lot of damage. [00:04:54] Speaker E: That's a lot of damage. [00:04:56] Speaker B: Anyway, boomerangs are great. Look them up. [00:04:58] Speaker F: You should buy one. [00:04:59] Speaker A: I cut this hand in half. [00:05:03] Speaker F: Jenkins, are you good, buddy? [00:05:07] Speaker B: He's just thinking of all the lines of boomerang. [00:05:09] Speaker D: No, I'm thinking of just the amount of miscommunication, the very small amount of miscommunication that happened to get. For me to get to this point. And I'm dead. Can't. [00:05:22] Speaker A: Jenkins is dead. [00:05:24] Speaker B: Long live the junk. [00:05:26] Speaker F: What? [00:05:28] Speaker C: You know, boomerangs originated in Australia and were used by the aboriginal people as hunting weapons. And speaking of feeling hunted, petite, I'd like you to start us off with a will saving throw. [00:05:41] Speaker B: Oh, my goodness. [00:05:42] Speaker A: I forgot. [00:05:43] Speaker F: What? [00:05:44] Speaker A: That's right there at the end of the last session. Oh, I forgot. [00:05:48] Speaker F: Oh, my gosh. [00:05:50] Speaker A: Bring back the end. [00:05:51] Speaker F: It's been a while. [00:05:52] Speaker A: Goodness. [00:05:52] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:05:53] Speaker B: This isn't the first time this week we started with a nightmare. [00:05:56] Speaker E: As somebody who's made will saves before for random things. You'll be fine. [00:06:01] Speaker D: Don't curse him. [00:06:03] Speaker B: All right. [00:06:03] Speaker A: It is a unnatural 20. [00:06:05] Speaker E: Woo. [00:06:06] Speaker F: Nice. [00:06:07] Speaker A: Bravo. Bravo. [00:06:08] Speaker E: Well done. [00:06:09] Speaker A: I'm dead, aren't I? Yes, I'm brain dead. [00:06:13] Speaker E: Brain dead. [00:06:15] Speaker F: Comatose. [00:06:16] Speaker E: Need new character. [00:06:17] Speaker A: Dang it. [00:06:19] Speaker E: Darn. [00:06:19] Speaker C: So, Zafir, you wake up from this nightmare that we saw at the end of last episode, and a cold sweat. You see across the hut tent, the cobalt building that you were spending your night in. You see Val and Neros with the cobalt that had snuck into the room, and they're all just kind of huddled together, but you're, like, alone on the opposite side, and just, like, you feel your heart pounding in your chest. [00:06:47] Speaker B: When did he leap? [00:06:48] Speaker F: The cuddle. I thought he was in the cuddle. [00:06:50] Speaker B: Puddle he left us. [00:06:54] Speaker C: Zafir sleeps away in his nightmare, but you just kind of feel just the adrenaline coursing through your veins of just what you've just experienced. [00:07:04] Speaker A: I have woken up many times like that in real life. Everybody else is asleep, right? [00:07:11] Speaker C: It does seem that way. It's very quiet. Seems like it might actually still be the middle of the night. [00:07:15] Speaker A: Seems that way. I'm going to stand up, and Zafir just kind of creeps towards the opening. I don't know if there's a door or whatever, but he's just going to poke his head out and try to see what is the status of. Where is everybody? What time is it? I don't have my time sense selected right now, so I can't sense it, but I can sniff it. [00:07:44] Speaker C: You sniff, and you smell the last remaining embers of the fire from the feast that night. As they're dying down and out in the darkness, you can kind of see the flickering of the embers, just giving a little bit of color to that area as your dark vision allows you to see the rest of the camp. There's one cobalt who's up, and he's got a stick, and he's just kind of poking at the embers, and he looks over and sees you poking out of the tent and just gives you a little wave and goes back to poking, and everything seems very calm. And idyllic, but you just still have this feeling of just being not safe. [00:08:21] Speaker A: I take a few glances around, just kind of shifty eye, left, right, sneak back into the tent, and zafir slides down the side of the wall next to the door and cannot sleep, but stays up with his mind on what he just witnessed in his own mind. [00:08:43] Speaker C: I'm going to say, as you sit up against the wall of the hut, your hand drifts down to the dagger that's on your belt. And as your hand kind of brushes around the hilt, there's just sort of like a feeling of warmth that's coming out of the hilt and just kind of spreading through your arm and up. [00:09:00] Speaker A: Into your body like a comforting warmth. [00:09:03] Speaker C: Very comforting warmth. When you get up in the middle of the night and you get a glass of warm milk kind of thing. [00:09:12] Speaker A: I'm lactose intolerant. [00:09:14] Speaker C: I would like nice, warm glass of soy milk. [00:09:17] Speaker F: Ew. I'm also allergic to soy milk, oat. [00:09:22] Speaker B: Milk, almond milk, a nice warm cup of g fuel. [00:09:29] Speaker F: That sounds even worse. [00:09:31] Speaker A: Not until you tried it. [00:09:32] Speaker B: They've got some good flavors. Wait. [00:09:34] Speaker F: Have you had warm g fuel? [00:09:35] Speaker A: Okay, it depends on the flavor. [00:09:37] Speaker C: And as this warm g fuel feeling is spreading through your body, you get the feeling that you, through an experience of knowing fear in and out, both as being one who has been afraid and one who has caused fear. You have the ability now to channel your fear and become stronger through it, which is the first ability that your relic gives you. [00:10:09] Speaker A: It's the dagger you may have seen me use a few times, particularly in a battle where I jumped out a window, and it's got an ivory handle. But this dagger is quite special to me. [00:10:25] Speaker B: It really is. [00:10:26] Speaker F: Is it sentimental? [00:10:29] Speaker A: In a way. For some reason, the cold steel or whatever it's made of brings warmth, even though it was quite traumatic in the way I got it. But the ability that it has, if you would describe it, Jordy, the mouth of the babe. [00:10:51] Speaker B: What babe? [00:10:53] Speaker F: Babe? [00:10:53] Speaker C: With the power of GM fiat. [00:10:57] Speaker B: That makes sense. [00:10:58] Speaker C: So, at this point in the game, your relics each have two abilities. So the two abilities that Zafir's relic has are, first, the one that we'd mentioned of his ability to channel his fear into power, and how that works mechanically is he can, once per hour as a single action, swap out a portion of the fear effect when he has the frightened condition. And in regards to his spell attack roles. Spell strike attack roles and his spell DC. Instead of being a status penalty, his frightened status is a status buff that is cool on all of the other statistics, like his armor class or an athletics check or something, it is still a penalty. The other ability it has is known as shadowsmith. He can use his own shadow to create any simple tool. So like a crowbar or something like that, just form out of his shadow. [00:11:55] Speaker B: Nice. [00:11:56] Speaker A: I'm really glad you went over that, because now that they know, I will forget. And if someone mentions it to me out of game, it might help. [00:12:06] Speaker D: What you're saying is we need to constantly remind you that you can make. [00:12:08] Speaker A: Tools only in the sense that if I can't think of a solution that I could possibly help with, you can. [00:12:17] Speaker C: With that being said, zafir, as you're feeling this warmth of courage flowing into you from your dagger, I'm going to go ahead and let you make another will saving throw. That is a 25, which is unfortunately not quite high enough for you to be able to get back to sleep. I figured as much as you're haunted by the dream you experienced, he's over. [00:12:46] Speaker B: Here taking delta green mechanics. I love it. [00:12:53] Speaker C: That's actually the only thing I've done so far that's not rules as written was allowing a second will save fair. [00:12:59] Speaker A: So Zafir is obviously not going to go back to sleep, but if you've ever seen anyone who just doesn't blink, that's pretty much what he looks like up against the wall. He feels some sort of comfort from his dagger. But staring off into the short distance of the darkness in the hut, you just see him staring and nothing much else, not even breathing. [00:13:38] Speaker C: And with that, the rest of the night passes, with the rest of the village seemingly in peaceful slumber. And Zafir more or less just grappling with what he's experienced until you begin to hear the rustling and shifting of others around you as they begin to stir with the morning. [00:13:58] Speaker A: So I feel like Neros is definitely not waking up first. Val, how about you? Are you an early bird? Wink, Wink? [00:14:09] Speaker B: Why, yes. [00:14:11] Speaker A: Raven bird. [00:14:12] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. She starts waking up. She looks her left arms around neros. On her lap is a small cobalt. To her right is her arm, which was once wrapped around you, but is now empty. And she's. He looks up, sees you staring at her, presumably, or are you just staring off? [00:14:31] Speaker A: Not at her. It's into the darkness of the corner. [00:14:36] Speaker B: She looks at you. You're staying very still with your eyes just open, and she just assumes you're asleep with your eyes open. But she's too concerned about the hangover she has because she got drunk as. [00:14:51] Speaker A: Soon as she sees movement from you, he looks in your direction. [00:14:56] Speaker B: Good morning. [00:14:58] Speaker A: Morning. Not necessarily good, but it's morning. [00:15:04] Speaker B: Are you all right? [00:15:07] Speaker A: I think I am. I can't say the same about my state of mind. [00:15:16] Speaker B: Bad dreams? [00:15:19] Speaker A: I'm not sure if it was a dream. [00:15:22] Speaker B: Here, give me a second. And she picks up the little cobalt gently and puts it on us's lap. And then Val, who's far too big for this little hut, scooches over closer to you. As she's cleaning her face up and preparing her paint supplies. [00:15:42] Speaker A: Zafir turns to Val. And while she's beginning her morning preparations, I fear that something that I've been ignoring has become something that I must address head on now. And I don't know how to go about doing it, especially with what we're trying to take care of now. It seems like it's a back burner issue, but. [00:16:10] Speaker B: Well, I mean, we're dealing with a lot of big things. If there's something else going on, it would only hurt us not to address it. [00:16:19] Speaker A: You're right. But I don't even know where to start. [00:16:22] Speaker B: Well, maybe some of the others might have some ideas. You know we're always here to help you. [00:16:30] Speaker A: I highly doubt that. If I don't know anything about it, I don't think they would either. [00:16:34] Speaker B: Well, I mean, you guys have said that a lot about a lot of things, but someone always seems to know something about something. Here. She takes off her arm. Will you hold this? [00:16:44] Speaker A: Yes. Can I borrow this sometime? [00:16:49] Speaker B: Depends on what you need it for, I guess. [00:16:52] Speaker A: I'll let you know when the time arises. [00:16:55] Speaker B: All right, sure. [00:16:58] Speaker A: Why do you take it off? [00:16:59] Speaker B: It's comfortable not having it on in the mornings. Sometimes it's a bit of a discomfort wearing it. It's like taking off your shoes when you get home. Sometimes it's nice to kick them off. [00:17:16] Speaker A: What time is it? What time does it seem? [00:17:20] Speaker C: Seems to be morning ish. But it's hard to tell because you're underground. [00:17:25] Speaker A: That is a good point. I know that you're not fully in your normal state of mind, as you seem to have overindulged last night. [00:17:36] Speaker B: Oh, it's getting better. [00:17:38] Speaker A: I've never been able to get over a hangover that quick. Do you happen to know what happened to the others? I know that we came in. [00:17:52] Speaker B: Happened. I think Uber and Olver just knock off into a tent together. I'm not sure what they were talking. [00:18:01] Speaker A: About, but probably books. Talk about books. Those evil things. [00:18:09] Speaker B: I really wasn't paying much attention to what they were up to because I was talking to you guys and getting drunk and singing things. [00:18:22] Speaker C: The unreliable narrator. [00:18:28] Speaker F: They snuck into a dead together. [00:18:32] Speaker B: But. Yeah, I know getting started on stuff like that, like what you're talking about, can be pretty hard to get started. But you never know who might be able to help look for things or figure out some leads or maybe someone has some information. I don't know if you've talked much about whatever it is going on with you to the others before. [00:18:54] Speaker A: Well, I may have mentioned this before, but I'm fairly certain that Alward and Neros have seen what's been happening. [00:19:04] Speaker B: Did you tell me about this before? [00:19:06] Speaker A: I don't remember. We said a few things. You're very easy to talk to. I don't know how much I told you about the situation, but I know that both Neros and Alward know and have seen it. At the least, they don't know any more than I do, really. But Uvair, the keeper of great. [00:19:36] Speaker B: Listeners. [00:19:37] Speaker A: Out there, I used my jazz hands to describe that. [00:19:41] Speaker F: Wow. [00:19:43] Speaker A: Great knowledge. But not a lot of it sticks. I feel like he may be useful in tracking down this problem. [00:19:56] Speaker B: He does seem like he knows a lot. [00:19:59] Speaker A: Just so that you're aware, this creature, I really don't know how to describe it, but I've seen it a few times. He's very disturbing looking. He's quite tall, even for you. [00:20:18] Speaker B: A giant? [00:20:19] Speaker A: Well, I wouldn't say he's a large. [00:20:21] Speaker B: Monstrous man with a large grin. Does he wear a hat? [00:20:25] Speaker A: Yes, he does wear a hat. I see hats. He's got very long fingers. [00:20:31] Speaker B: Oh, that's not good. [00:20:34] Speaker A: And he likes to call me rabbit. [00:20:37] Speaker B: Is that like a hunter prey thing, or is it like a cute little pet in a cage thing? [00:20:45] Speaker A: Maybe. Pet? It sounds like it, at least. I don't know. If I had a rabbit fur pet, I would name it something else than rabbit. [00:20:53] Speaker B: Well, you have a name. Maybe he just doesn't like your name. [00:20:58] Speaker A: Speaking of names, I also don't know its name. [00:21:01] Speaker B: Oh, I see. [00:21:03] Speaker A: I refer to it lovingly as tall boy, gross man. [00:21:07] Speaker B: Oh. [00:21:07] Speaker A: Because it is both a boy and a man. And tall and gross. [00:21:12] Speaker B: I see. Keep that in mind. [00:21:17] Speaker A: Now that you know what he looks like, you can. [00:21:20] Speaker B: I can sketch him. [00:21:21] Speaker A: Well, I guess you could try if you wanted to. Not a very pretty picture, but would you mind accompanying me? I'd like to try to find Uber and kind of nip this in the bud. [00:21:33] Speaker B: Oh, right now? [00:21:36] Speaker A: The sooner the better. [00:21:37] Speaker B: I need to finish my face paint. [00:21:39] Speaker A: Oh, well, you can do that? And I guess we can wait for Neros to wake up. [00:21:45] Speaker B: It shouldn't take too long for me. I don't know about Neros. So after a couple more minutes, she finishes up. [00:21:53] Speaker A: Should we wait for Neros? [00:21:55] Speaker B: Do you want her to? I mean, we can. We could wake her up. I'm not really sure. [00:22:01] Speaker A: I've had experiences with waking her up. I don't know if. [00:22:05] Speaker F: Oh, lord. She may throw the cobalt. [00:22:08] Speaker A: Don't do it. Do it. [00:22:11] Speaker B: I could wake her up. [00:22:13] Speaker A: Everyone should at least have one experience waking up. Nero's okay, he says while chuckling to himself. [00:22:20] Speaker D: Make an weapon with that cobalt. [00:22:23] Speaker B: Val then scooches, like, a few inches, and she's next to nearest. She picks up the cobalt, sets the cobalt. Dad on a little blanket. [00:22:34] Speaker F: Wise decision. [00:22:36] Speaker C: The cobalt remains asleep. [00:22:40] Speaker B: And then. And she's like, hey, Neros. Neros. Hi. [00:22:52] Speaker F: What? [00:22:56] Speaker B: Although Sophia needs you for something, she. [00:23:02] Speaker F: Looks shocked because she's awake. [00:23:06] Speaker A: It's morning and looks over at Val and. Hi. [00:23:12] Speaker F: Hi. Is there any coffee anywhere? [00:23:19] Speaker A: Alwood, we're going to go find them, I think. [00:23:25] Speaker F: Oh, yeah, they're not in here. [00:23:26] Speaker B: They didn't join us here in this tent. [00:23:30] Speaker F: Sophia. Hi. [00:23:34] Speaker A: I didn't want to leave you alone, but I also didn't want to be the one to wake you up. [00:23:39] Speaker F: I don't know why. [00:23:40] Speaker A: Surprised there was no violence. [00:23:42] Speaker F: I'm not that violent. [00:23:44] Speaker B: I didn't think. [00:23:45] Speaker A: Are you even awake yet? Is the question. [00:23:47] Speaker F: No. And she snuggles back into, like. [00:23:51] Speaker A: Val, quick, while you're still somewhat conscious. Val gets blushies. [00:23:58] Speaker F: You're comfortable. [00:24:02] Speaker B: Thank you. Thank you. Thanks. [00:24:04] Speaker A: Quickly. Come on, please. [00:24:06] Speaker F: What are we doing? [00:24:08] Speaker A: Going to find the others. [00:24:10] Speaker F: That would require being up. [00:24:13] Speaker A: Yes. [00:24:14] Speaker F: I want to sleep. [00:24:15] Speaker A: Val, can you carry her? [00:24:16] Speaker F: Well. Oh, that's not necessary. [00:24:19] Speaker D: Bridal carry. Don't firemen carry? [00:24:22] Speaker B: Sling her over your shoulder. [00:24:24] Speaker F: She says it's not necessary, but she stays where she is. [00:24:28] Speaker A: I will grab you by your ankles and drag you. [00:24:31] Speaker B: Oh. If you're going to be that aggressive about it, then I will carry her. [00:24:36] Speaker A: Well, I'm not just going to leave her here, okay? [00:24:38] Speaker F: I mean, you could. [00:24:40] Speaker A: No. [00:24:42] Speaker F: Do we all have to be together? Is it important? [00:24:46] Speaker A: I think so. [00:24:47] Speaker F: What's it about? [00:24:50] Speaker A: So you know that thing you saw in the library? Yeah, that's what it's about. [00:25:03] Speaker F: Okay. I sit up, like, rub my eyes. Fine. [00:25:12] Speaker A: I should have started with that. [00:25:17] Speaker F: You don't have to carry me a walk. [00:25:20] Speaker B: All right. Aye, sounds good. [00:25:22] Speaker F: Thank you for the offer. [00:25:25] Speaker C: We step out, and the village outside appears to be slowly waking up as well. There's a cobalt walking by with a basket, and it, like, stops for a second, looks at you and then relaxes. It seems to remember you're supposed to be here and continues on its way. But for the most part, you seem to be among the first that are waking up. [00:25:43] Speaker B: When we get out of the tent, Val realizes she's still, like, holding on to near us the same way and just pulls her arms back. [00:25:49] Speaker F: No, that was fine. [00:25:51] Speaker B: Sorry. [00:25:52] Speaker F: You're cozy. [00:25:53] Speaker B: Oh, thanks. She takes a step away. [00:25:58] Speaker A: I'm imagining the opening to beauty and the beast. [00:26:02] Speaker F: What? [00:26:03] Speaker D: Wait, which one's beauty and which one's the. [00:26:05] Speaker A: No, no, I'm imagining the opening song. [00:26:08] Speaker D: The one where the baker with. Yeah, the one where she just, like. [00:26:13] Speaker A: Craps all over the town every day. [00:26:16] Speaker B: So the cobalt's out working then? I don't see a lot of them out in the back here. [00:26:24] Speaker A: Well, they're still waking up. It's still morning, right? [00:26:28] Speaker D: Yes. [00:26:29] Speaker B: It's hard to tell because there's no light here. [00:26:32] Speaker A: So does anyone see where they might be? Uber and Alwood. [00:26:38] Speaker B: Which hut did anyone see them sneak off last night? [00:26:42] Speaker A: What looks the most studious hut here? [00:26:45] Speaker B: Safir? I actually think they're right here next to us. [00:26:49] Speaker A: Zephyr's got his hand above his brow, just kind of squinting off into the distance. [00:26:54] Speaker B: Val grabs your shoulders and just turns you to, like, 5ft to your right where there's tents. [00:27:01] Speaker A: Well, I think I should have started there. Let me try that again. I should have started with that. That's a callback to what I said to neros. [00:27:12] Speaker D: This whole morning is like a sitcom episode. It is. [00:27:16] Speaker A: I'm going to knock on the flap. I'm coming in. I hope everyone's dressed. [00:27:26] Speaker C: I would like a perception check from Albert and from Uber. [00:27:30] Speaker D: Do we get a minus four for being unconscious or. No? [00:27:33] Speaker E: Are we unconscious? [00:27:35] Speaker C: You are unconscious. Okay, so you do get your minus four for being unconscious, but I'll let you know it's DC twelve. [00:27:42] Speaker E: I pass. [00:27:44] Speaker D: I almost critically succeeded. I'm one off with a 21. [00:27:48] Speaker C: So both of you wake up as you hear. I'm coming in. I would like to remind the audience where they fell asleep. They were working over Alward's floating disc that they were using as a desk. They had Alward's book open. Alward had his hand on the book writing runes. Uvair shirtless had his hand on Alward's hand helping him write the runes. Then both of them kind of staggered back aways and then passed out. So they're kind of just laying on the floor, not parallel to each other, more like they fell opposite directions, and the spell ended somewhere midway through the night. So then everything that was sitting on the disc is now just sitting on the floor between them. [00:28:37] Speaker B: I thought that they didn't really drink. [00:28:40] Speaker A: I somewhat recall Uvair having a. I thought that Uvair was a lightweight. [00:28:48] Speaker D: So hearing them enter my tent, Albert's just going to, by instinct, summon his unseen servant and then cast time sense. [00:28:56] Speaker C: Right after that, your unseen servant appears, and you know that it's 643. [00:29:03] Speaker D: And without saying anything, my unseen servant is going to start getting my coffee stuff from my backpack. So it can make coffee Uber. [00:29:11] Speaker E: Just as soon as he hears them, he just wakes up and sits up and looks over at Howard. Do you remember anything? [00:29:24] Speaker D: Do we remember anything? [00:29:25] Speaker B: Yeah, that's the question. [00:29:26] Speaker C: You remember everything. [00:29:29] Speaker D: Alord sort of looks at Zafir, looks at you, looks at neros, looks at Val. [00:29:38] Speaker B: Good morning. [00:29:39] Speaker D: And then runs to his book to see if it's still. [00:29:45] Speaker A: Dives to look and see. Good morning, sunshines. I did say make sure everyone was dressed. [00:29:58] Speaker C: Jenkins, remind me, your book usually despawns after a few minutes of not working with it. [00:30:05] Speaker A: Right? [00:30:05] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:30:05] Speaker D: So if I'm not actively, like, mechanically, if I'm not actively trying to learn the language in my downtime, it just erases whatever I was working on. [00:30:17] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:30:17] Speaker C: So, as could be expected, the book is once again blank. [00:30:24] Speaker E: But we remember what it was. [00:30:27] Speaker D: Yes. I don't remember the rune shape. [00:30:32] Speaker E: He just goes to the one that was a genius. It was this one. It was this one. [00:30:36] Speaker A: Okay. [00:30:36] Speaker E: It was that one. And it was teacher. [00:30:39] Speaker D: Yes. [00:30:40] Speaker A: What are you two doing? [00:30:44] Speaker D: That's a start. I don't think we can continue doing that every night, though. [00:30:49] Speaker E: No, that was painful. But you said we had a bunch of information in our heads. [00:30:57] Speaker C: All the information that was flowing through it almost feels more like you stuck a fork into an electric socket and whatever was flowing through is gone. But you do remember what you learned. [00:31:08] Speaker A: That it hurt. [00:31:10] Speaker B: Well, they're talking about this stuff. I'm going to grab the other two. Safira and yours. Should we just follow the coffee thing and wait till they're done? Whatever they're doing, that's a good idea. [00:31:19] Speaker A: I've never seen an empty book before. This is kind of my jam. [00:31:23] Speaker F: Okay, well, while you do that, I'm going to follow the coffee. [00:31:28] Speaker B: Yeah, I'll go with you. [00:31:29] Speaker D: Yes. [00:31:30] Speaker F: Okay. We'll be back. [00:31:32] Speaker D: I've never seen a journal before. [00:31:34] Speaker A: This is my jam. [00:31:37] Speaker B: I do have a quick question. [00:31:38] Speaker A: Do I have any conditions or things about my lack of sleep and or preparation for new daily can trips and spells? [00:31:49] Speaker C: Good question. The only effect is that since you weren't able to get a good night's sleep, you are fatigued. What that will mean is you have a minus one status. A minus one status penalty to ac and saving throws. And you cannot use exploration activities until you rest. [00:32:06] Speaker D: Well, feel free to say no to this, but can my coffee be blood eye coffee? It's an item in the game. It's one action to interact with it. It has a saving throw bonus to me. You can fail. [00:32:19] Speaker B: What level item is it? [00:32:20] Speaker D: Zero. Its onset is ten minutes. It has a max duration of 8 hours. At stage one, the item bonus to your ac and saves to which you are taking penalties caused to the fatigue condition is a plus one. And it's for ten minutes. And then at stage two it's stupefied one for an hour. You can't recover from fatigue. [00:32:39] Speaker C: I'm going to say go for it because, I mean, it's a level zero item. And you've established since the beginning that you've been carrying coffee. It makes sense that you're using the actual statistical coffee that's in the game instead of just flavor coffee. [00:32:50] Speaker D: It is from the inner seas area. I'm not sure if that would be inner. [00:32:54] Speaker C: That's where you are. [00:32:55] Speaker D: Oh, perfect. [00:32:56] Speaker B: Yes. Flavored coffee. [00:32:58] Speaker D: So it's a fortitude DC 14 to beat those effects. [00:33:03] Speaker B: Can we just have normal coffee? Do we have to have that coffee? [00:33:08] Speaker D: I suppose. [00:33:09] Speaker B: Okay. [00:33:09] Speaker C: Just weaken it. [00:33:10] Speaker D: Dilute it, water it down. [00:33:12] Speaker C: So, Val and Neros, you two are going off with the invisible, the unseen servant who's preparing the coffee. But Zafir, you were sticking around while alward and Uber were looking over the runes and everything? [00:33:24] Speaker A: Yes. Okay. Just listening to their madman ramblings. [00:33:29] Speaker E: So we know that your book works, but at a bit of a cost. [00:33:36] Speaker D: Yeah, that was painful. [00:33:39] Speaker E: Having gone through it a few times. I understand now, but we have a place to start. We know at least this rune right here means teacher. And the information that we felt must have been the full meaning of that word in how they inscribe. [00:33:58] Speaker D: Do you mean like every possible meaning of the word teacher all at once? [00:34:04] Speaker C: So not so much like the full meaning and all possible meanings of that word, but more like when you understood the meaning of that rune, it felt more like the world itself was coming into focus and you were understanding things that were related to that and kind of things that didn't make sense before were making sense, but all in a very fleeting sense. And as soon as you grasped one thing, you were realizing something else and another thing, and it was just too much for your brain to handle and just shut down. [00:34:38] Speaker E: Think of it as less of every type of definition of this world or whatnot, and more of everything that this word could be applied to. And the information that was going through our head, was it teaching us what can be applied with the word teacher? And unfortunately, I don't think that we were ready for that information right now, and that's why we passed out. But it's a start. It is the first known meaning of one of these runes that we understand, which. [00:35:19] Speaker C: Alward, you're a linguist by trade. [00:35:21] Speaker D: Yes. [00:35:22] Speaker C: Make a society check. [00:35:25] Speaker D: Hopefully it's a good one. [00:35:30] Speaker E: You want to do it a tang? [00:35:34] Speaker D: It's so early in the morning. [00:35:36] Speaker E: Also. [00:35:37] Speaker D: Hey, Zafir. [00:35:40] Speaker E: Yes? [00:35:41] Speaker D: If you want to, you can make a will save. [00:35:44] Speaker A: I don't think I'm mentally prepared for that, actually. [00:35:48] Speaker C: It might be really fun to do that now. I like that. [00:35:52] Speaker A: I can do that. [00:35:53] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:35:56] Speaker A: 23. [00:35:58] Speaker D: All right. So a moment goes by and Alward looks, like, really confused. And then that's better. 26. [00:36:10] Speaker C: So Alward, as you're kind of pondering on your own experience, and as Uber was explaining his side of the experience, you get the sense that the information that was flooding into your brain as you got the definition and translation of that rune as being teacher was that somehow the sense of teacher was encapsulated in the rune rather than with normal text, where it's merely a symbol or a word or something, that means that. That somehow there is an overarching connection that that rune and teacher belong together. It's not arbitrary. [00:36:52] Speaker D: So instead of, like, me pointing out a thing and being like, the word for that thing is rock, it's more of like, that word is the thing. [00:37:00] Speaker C: Yes. That they are inextricably connected to each other. [00:37:03] Speaker D: And then after looking confused for a bit, both Uvair and Zafir have a memory in their mind of Howard just saying I'm completely lost. Like, I don't know what any of this means. But instead, what Alward says is it's almost like those runes are whatever they. [00:37:22] Speaker E: Are meant to be and uver just. You see a frown. Go on. [00:37:33] Speaker A: Yes, well, I don't know what they are either. That's what you said, right? [00:37:41] Speaker E: No, that's not what he said. [00:37:46] Speaker A: Now I'm confused. Wait, you did say that they are what I'm going to step back. I don't understand any of this. [00:37:55] Speaker D: And it gets real exciting. He's like, wait, you remember? [00:38:01] Speaker C: I guess so. [00:38:03] Speaker A: What am I remembering? [00:38:05] Speaker D: I'll have to explain that later. Right now we're dealing with this rune thing. There's a lot going on, but he was able to. Yeah, he remembers. [00:38:15] Speaker E: He remembers. [00:38:18] Speaker D: He didn't forget. [00:38:20] Speaker E: That's amazing. [00:38:21] Speaker A: I know. [00:38:24] Speaker E: Go drink coffee. [00:38:27] Speaker D: Just remind me to tell you about it later. [00:38:29] Speaker C: Neros. [00:38:31] Speaker D: Coffee. [00:38:36] Speaker E: So the runes and the meaning are the same thing. They cannot be separated, which that could. [00:38:46] Speaker D: Theoretically mean that those runes are the very first thing to have ever existed. No. [00:38:55] Speaker E: What it could possibly mean is that perhaps that this magic is so powerful that when these were created, that they are linked inextricably together, that they cannot be separated. That the very foundation of these rooms are linked to the meanings of these words. [00:39:13] Speaker D: But why are they on your body? [00:39:15] Speaker E: I don't know. But this is amazing. This is the furthest that memory held. Granted, that I have ever seen or gone so far uver. [00:39:28] Speaker D: Do you think there's a rune on there for yourself? And that's why you're able to exist beyond the normal lifespan of a dwarf? [00:39:46] Speaker E: That would be. [00:39:52] Speaker D: Are you just a word. [00:39:56] Speaker B: Aren't we all just words? [00:39:58] Speaker A: Did you guys figure something out? [00:40:03] Speaker B: You just peek your head back in? [00:40:05] Speaker D: Is my coffee done? [00:40:07] Speaker A: I'm not sure. Is this coffee? [00:40:11] Speaker D: My unseen servant's going to come back with my coffee pot and cups. [00:40:16] Speaker C: Following behind the unseen servant is a cobalt who also has a cup of coffee. And he says in common, bridge is done. [00:40:26] Speaker D: Pours me coffee. Pours you coffee. [00:40:30] Speaker B: Oh, I forgot. [00:40:31] Speaker A: Now that we all have coffee, so you know that scary thing that we all saw? [00:40:38] Speaker E: What scary thing? [00:40:39] Speaker A: Oh, wait, I'm sorry, Val. You weren't there. Remember what I described to you back? [00:40:43] Speaker D: Were you following my coffee? [00:40:45] Speaker B: Well, we have our coffee. We left and sat down. Okay, so when you say Val, you look over and you see, not too far away from the tent is Val and Ira sitting down with coffee. [00:40:56] Speaker A: Okay. [00:40:58] Speaker B: Against each other. Just feel warm. [00:41:00] Speaker A: I have a very important thing to say. Quite a bit more important than your drawings? Unfortunately, his drawings could be making up. [00:41:10] Speaker D: The fabric of reality. [00:41:12] Speaker A: You may not be reality for long. What if that makes sense? [00:41:21] Speaker D: Are you threatening me? Severe? [00:41:23] Speaker A: No, you'd know if I was threatening you. So this is very important. And Uvair, I'm going to explain this to you very quickly because I don't think anybody said anything to you. And I believe you were the only one who didn't see it yet? [00:41:39] Speaker E: See what? [00:41:41] Speaker A: So lovingly, I call him tall boy Grossman, because he is just that. He is a tall, a boy, and a gross man. [00:41:48] Speaker E: Oh, those words have what? [00:41:50] Speaker A: So creature gangly, nice hat, the stuff of nightmares, honestly. [00:42:02] Speaker C: Have you seen the pictures, Vin? [00:42:04] Speaker E: No. [00:42:05] Speaker C: All right. I know your character hasn't seen the creature, but I will go ahead and send you a picture. [00:42:11] Speaker B: Valpe shows you a sketch that she drew after hearing about it. [00:42:15] Speaker A: But just remember, the way I'm describing it is the way that Zafir describes it to you. [00:42:21] Speaker B: This is exactly how he looks from his description. [00:42:25] Speaker C: How does that actually make sense? [00:42:27] Speaker D: It does. Whenever he says the name, you can see Albert's, like, visibly a little bit more shaken. [00:42:37] Speaker E: Does this have something to do with. [00:42:39] Speaker A: So do you remember the library? I know it's hard for you to remember things, but do you remember the library? [00:42:43] Speaker E: I remember the library. [00:42:44] Speaker A: Okay, so we saw that while you and Heymir were having some sort of mind showdown, and he threatened us. I threatened him, and then he laughed, and he disappeared. And then the door knocked, and then you woke up, and I think your ears were bleeding. I'm not sure, but he is threatening us, and I really feel it's necessary for me to tell you all now. [00:43:07] Speaker E: And who is he? [00:43:09] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:43:11] Speaker E: You don't know who he is? [00:43:13] Speaker A: I was hoping that you might be able to help. [00:43:17] Speaker E: That is terrifying. This being that you speak of. What is his connection to you? [00:43:27] Speaker A: So he has appeared to me on a few different occasions, and he has a very threatening aura. I am obviously not scared of him because I am fear. I am the knight. I am the one who knocks. [00:43:44] Speaker E: But you are worried for everybody else. Is that what I understand? [00:43:49] Speaker A: So he never really gives me personal threatens, except for one time he did say he would be my end, but that's a different story. So this comes to a personal point of mine. He wants to keep me from having a family, it seems. And you all are the closest thing that I have to a family, and I am worried that that might be the end of you all. I've not been able to get a scratch on him. So me being the great and powerful, the fear, not being able to do that is a bit concerning. [00:44:35] Speaker E: And what makes you bring it up today? [00:44:41] Speaker A: So I didn't think that it would be a problem, considering he's never actually done anything. But last night I had a dream, and, well, considering Alward is also here and he seems to have mind things going on, you may also be able to help. He was there doing creepy things. Just imagine me, but uglier. Ugly. And he just said that I need to meet him. [00:45:25] Speaker D: So just to clarify, he is coming after anyone who you can get close to? [00:45:31] Speaker A: I believe so. [00:45:33] Speaker D: So he is now threatening my family? [00:45:35] Speaker A: Well, they are not part of my family. I don't really feel much connection to you. Put a stop to that. [00:45:41] Speaker D: I'm sorry if I made you feel that way, but that's fine. [00:45:44] Speaker E: Then it seems that it's only like the party in general. Maybe not Val. I don't know. [00:45:51] Speaker A: Yes, most likely Val. [00:45:53] Speaker D: Val's great, though. [00:45:54] Speaker E: I think she knows Val. She just knew. [00:45:56] Speaker B: She feels very touched when he says that. Probably. [00:45:59] Speaker A: Are you even there? [00:46:00] Speaker B: We can hear. We're outside. Oh, we're just sitting down. We're in arm's reach. [00:46:04] Speaker D: If it comes after us, everyone is more than capable of protecting themselves. I just will deal with it. [00:46:12] Speaker A: No, the problem I need to know is I need to know where he is, and I need help finding him. I know that we have matters at hand, but I feel like this is. It's going to keep haunting us until we take care of it. [00:46:26] Speaker E: So why don't you ask him to come? Obviously, he is able to see you in some way and understand what's going on. Why don't you say let's talk? [00:46:35] Speaker D: Maybe not right now. [00:46:37] Speaker E: Not right now? No. Especially not in the middle of this camp. But unless you have an idea, I have no way to scry this. [00:46:45] Speaker A: So you're basically saying you've never. Well, you're not saying this, but you've never heard of this type of thing happening. [00:46:53] Speaker C: Anybody want to roll a nature check? Not an occultism or divine a nature check? [00:46:59] Speaker D: Can I do an occult? [00:47:01] Speaker B: Is this natural? [00:47:02] Speaker A: Where is my rather occult? [00:47:04] Speaker B: Can I roll boneyard or music lore? [00:47:09] Speaker E: I think music lore fits 20. [00:47:13] Speaker C: I'm really tempted with music lore. That's a really tempting one. But no. [00:47:17] Speaker D: 23. [00:47:18] Speaker B: I've heard many songs about tall boy Grossman. [00:47:21] Speaker A: 23. No. [00:47:22] Speaker B: Natural 2021. [00:47:25] Speaker C: What the. [00:47:25] Speaker A: What? [00:47:26] Speaker F: You hurt my ear hole. [00:47:27] Speaker D: I'm sorry. [00:47:28] Speaker A: How the. [00:47:29] Speaker D: I was so happy. [00:47:32] Speaker C: What's your music bonus? [00:47:35] Speaker F: What? [00:47:36] Speaker C: Would you still get a 21 rolling music? [00:47:38] Speaker B: Instead, I would get a 29 20 rolling music. [00:47:43] Speaker C: So let's reflavor your result as music for more fun. [00:47:47] Speaker B: Like, I've heard whispers through songs of things like this. [00:47:52] Speaker C: Yeah, you've heard songs about the boogeyman. [00:47:57] Speaker A: Oh, it's a boogeyman. [00:48:01] Speaker C: And what's kind of rattling you a little bit as you're feeling like a chill up your spine is realizing that all of these campfire stories and spooky songs and such that you've always thought were just a creepy story are being substantiated by Zafir's experience that he is, in fact, being stalked by this creature. The most important thing that you learn about a boogeyman is what they do when they kill someone. They don't stop at merely killing. They feed on the soul. [00:48:40] Speaker B: Cool. That's not good. Wait, that's very pharasma. That's very anti pharasma. [00:48:47] Speaker A: Well, now I'm worried. [00:48:49] Speaker B: So Val's thinking about some songs in her head. Her arm around Eros gets a little tighter as she's getting a little nervous. [00:49:01] Speaker A: Did he give you anything or just a creepy smile? [00:49:06] Speaker B: Sorry to interrupt here, guys. Listening to that a bit more reminds me of some songs I've heard about boogeymen and what they do to people. If that's the case, it really sounds like it might be. They torture and eat souls after they're done killing them. And Thrasma wouldn't like that much, and I wouldn't like that much either, to be honest. And I feel like it's more than just a personal thing. It's also more of a professional thing that I want to be very involved now. [00:49:44] Speaker D: Well, I don't think the question of is, are we going to get involved? I think the question is, when can we handle it? [00:49:51] Speaker E: How do we get involved? [00:49:53] Speaker B: It's a good question. [00:49:54] Speaker A: What level creatures does that count as recall knowledge? [00:49:59] Speaker C: You get that as part of your recall knowledge, and you would know that a boogeyman, by default is level ten. [00:50:06] Speaker D: So maybe not for, like, I don't know, another month, month and a half. [00:50:10] Speaker C: And they can continue to grow in power as they consume more souls. [00:50:16] Speaker D: Maybe not until way later. [00:50:19] Speaker B: I don't think we can deal with it right now. Those things, it takes stories I've heard of, those who've taken these things out or fought them. It takes a lot more than what we have to deal with them. But we have to be alert, and we have to have some sort of precautions in case he makes a move before we could even be ready to face it. [00:50:48] Speaker D: How long has this been going on, safir? [00:50:55] Speaker A: Since about the prologue. [00:51:01] Speaker D: That was quite some time ago. [00:51:02] Speaker B: Three months ago. [00:51:04] Speaker A: So it's since about before. Right before I met you. [00:51:09] Speaker B: Exactly. [00:51:11] Speaker E: That was the first time that you had an interaction with him? [00:51:17] Speaker A: Interaction is a very loose word. [00:51:20] Speaker C: So in your prologue, was the first time you had, like, a substantiated experience, but you had been for months prior having just a vague sense of being watched. And in that prologue, you kind of were like, is this the thing that's been watching me? [00:51:36] Speaker A: Okay, I'm not going to reveal that yet, because I am the night. I am the shadows. [00:51:43] Speaker D: So he's been hunting you for a couple, like a month. [00:51:49] Speaker A: I mean, if you considered standing there watching me hunting, then, yes, that's considered. [00:51:56] Speaker D: Stalking, which is what a prey does to an animal. [00:52:00] Speaker A: Oh, I. Which is familiar with stalking. [00:52:04] Speaker E: A predator does what's prey. [00:52:06] Speaker D: You shouldn't stalk people, petite. That's rude. [00:52:09] Speaker A: I am an assassin. It was an assassin. [00:52:13] Speaker E: It seems to me that this thing, this boogeyman, is enjoying the hunt and perhaps waiting until you are fat. Your soul getting stronger as you get stronger. [00:52:32] Speaker D: Does it say anything about needing more. Bigger souls? [00:52:39] Speaker B: It said that the more souls Pokemon consumes. Yes, that's a good word. Thank you. [00:52:50] Speaker A: I use it a lot. [00:52:52] Speaker B: They grow in their terror. [00:52:55] Speaker D: Why isn't it eating you then? It has had plenty of opportunity. [00:52:59] Speaker E: I said I think it is because his isn't simply enjoying zahunkt. [00:53:03] Speaker B: Maybe he has something personal. [00:53:05] Speaker A: He also did mention that he wanted to talk to me. [00:53:11] Speaker B: Correct. [00:53:12] Speaker A: He just wanted to meet with me. [00:53:14] Speaker B: Well, he's been calling you rabbit. That sounds not good. [00:53:18] Speaker D: He's been calling you rabbit. [00:53:22] Speaker A: Lovingly. [00:53:24] Speaker E: I don't think he's lovingly stalking you and calling you rabbit and saying that he will be your end neros. [00:53:33] Speaker D: Do you think that thing can love what he said it was? Calling him rabbit lovingly. I need some backup. [00:53:42] Speaker F: I would not put the word loving in relation to tall boy Grossman. [00:53:49] Speaker E: Sounds like you're in a toxic relationship, Zafir. [00:53:52] Speaker B: Some sort of. [00:53:53] Speaker E: Is there anything in your past that could explain why this thing would latch onto you? [00:53:59] Speaker A: I mean, I've killed many people. It might be. What's the word? Karma. Is there karma in this dimension? [00:54:09] Speaker F: He wants souls. [00:54:11] Speaker E: And do you provide the souls, and. [00:54:13] Speaker F: You provide the souls? [00:54:14] Speaker D: Are you saying every person he kills, the boogeyman eats as a snack? [00:54:20] Speaker F: I'm just saying it's a possibility. I don't know. [00:54:22] Speaker D: I'm not saying it's a bad. [00:54:26] Speaker F: It's possible. [00:54:27] Speaker B: Sophia, you're not allowed to kill anyone. [00:54:30] Speaker A: It was my job. [00:54:32] Speaker D: I would actually prefer if you'd stopped killing. [00:54:34] Speaker F: Did you accidentally make any deals with other beings? [00:54:38] Speaker A: Not to my knowledge. [00:54:39] Speaker D: You did make a trade with one Faye frog. [00:54:42] Speaker A: Well, I mean, he seemed nice. [00:54:44] Speaker E: Safir, where did you learn your magic? I know you use it, and I see your book, but where did you learn your magic. If you've just been an assassin. [00:54:57] Speaker D: Well, that is true. You can't read. [00:55:02] Speaker B: They don't have to be words. Your book can have, like, pictograms. Yeah. Grot. [00:55:06] Speaker A: Goblins do it all the time. [00:55:07] Speaker E: It's the pictogram version. [00:55:08] Speaker A: As Jordy has established, it is a pop up book. [00:55:11] Speaker B: It's for. [00:55:13] Speaker A: What did you say? Gremlins? Goblins. Goblins. Pop up goblins. Yeah. It's a pop up book of spells. So I learned my magic from my mother and my weapons from my father. [00:55:34] Speaker D: Hold on. This is the first time he's mentioned his family. [00:55:39] Speaker F: He's opening up. Don't interrupt. [00:55:41] Speaker B: It's true. Last night, he didn't even want to talk about it. [00:55:45] Speaker D: What happened to your mother and father? [00:55:48] Speaker C: And that's where we'll end this episode. [00:55:52] Speaker A: Bad. [00:55:53] Speaker F: Whoa. [00:55:55] Speaker A: I opened up. [00:56:01] Speaker F: Evil gm. [00:56:03] Speaker D: Yeah, it has to be. [00:56:04] Speaker C: I don't have to give the plot hook every time. All right. So, petite, you won the hero point for this episode with your excellent role playing. Just like in terms of playing your character, bringing things out, bringing the party together. Loved it. [00:56:21] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:56:21] Speaker B: By threatening us. [00:56:24] Speaker A: I do that every time, guys. Don't worry. Maybe in my head, but that's. I appreciate that, but I'm going to go take a vow of silence for a little bit. [00:56:37] Speaker D: Monster. [00:56:38] Speaker C: And we'll see you all in the next episode. [00:56:41] Speaker F: Bye bye. [00:56:44] Speaker C: This has been an atomic broadcasting production. Pathfinder, Galerian, and the lost omens world setting are copyright of pizzo. [00:57:28] Speaker B: That jacques went flat flat. [00:57:33] Speaker C: Not to mention that tall boy Grossman is also known for knocking. [00:57:38] Speaker D: That is true. [00:57:38] Speaker B: You are tall boy Grossman. [00:57:40] Speaker C: That was the most epic pop culture. [00:57:41] Speaker F: Reference I've ever heard. [00:57:44] Speaker A: I think I referenced Batman Breaking Bad and something else all in the same sentence. [00:57:48] Speaker C: Breaking Batman breaking Batman. [00:57:50] Speaker B: It's Bain. [00:57:53] Speaker A: I'm the one who knocks. Bane have lost weight. [00:58:01] Speaker B: You really adopted the door. [00:58:07] Speaker D: Molded by it. [00:58:10] Speaker A: Rabbits. [00:58:11] Speaker E: I was squished in the door.
