[00:00:05] Speaker A: You are listening to an Atomic Broadcasting production. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the feature presentation. And remember, do your part, such as, like, comment rate. And don't forget to tell a friend to tune in for an Atomic time. [00:00:30] Speaker B: Now, where did we leave off? Ah, yes. Seeking answers to Uvair's mysterious memory loss, hamir and Uveler entered a joint mindscape to find the lost memories, escaping nearly empty handed. Meanwhile, a ghastly figure approached the rest of the party in the library, taunting Zapir before vanishing without a trace. Deeply unsettled, the party left the underground, only to be accosted by a hooded group. [00:01:06] Speaker C: Is that all right with everybody? May I tell my story? [00:01:08] Speaker D: You can tell your story. [00:01:10] Speaker E: It's not okay with me. [00:01:11] Speaker A: I'm going to look at you because. [00:01:12] Speaker C: You'Re the only one hasn't heard the story, so I'm going to tell it really quickly. [00:01:16] Speaker E: 1 second. Can we get romantic music? [00:01:18] Speaker F: No. [00:01:19] Speaker C: Oh, it's not a romantic story. [00:01:21] Speaker E: All right. [00:01:22] Speaker C: So I was waiting on my package from Dr. Pepper. I ordered a can cooler that had my name on it. Nothing about this is sultry. [00:01:37] Speaker E: You're doing your best. [00:01:40] Speaker D: Keep going. [00:01:41] Speaker E: Lock eyes with Sven. [00:01:43] Speaker F: Oh, yeah. [00:01:43] Speaker C: Okay. So I got my package, and I opened it. [00:01:50] Speaker B: Tell me more. [00:01:53] Speaker C: It was supposed to say, Michael deserves a Dr Pepper. It didn't. Oh, my. It said straight deserves a Dr. Pepper. I don't know what that means. [00:02:09] Speaker B: Me neither. [00:02:12] Speaker C: So I contacted support, and they said they'd fix it, but that's not the whole story. A couple of days later, I decided, you know what? I have a thermostat from Google. So I'm going to buy a wall plate because my wall was painted 80s yellow when the house was built, and they didn't decide to paint the back of it. The wall paint, that is. So I wanted to buy one, and I had $5 credit from Google Five, and the cheapest thing on their site was a wall plate for $15. So I was like, okay, I'm going to go ahead and get that. So I bought it. A couple of hours later, I got a text saying, hey, it's on its way. Is it? How soon? Tomorrow. And you know what? What it got there? I opened it up. [00:03:05] Speaker B: You bet it did. [00:03:07] Speaker C: And it wasn't a wall plate. Do you know what it was? [00:03:11] Speaker B: What? [00:03:12] Speaker C: It was a Pixel Seven phone. [00:03:16] Speaker E: No. [00:03:21] Speaker C: So I got on support and said, hey, I got a piece of plastic, but you guys sent me a phone, and they said, So sorry. Here's $10 for being honest. So now I have to send back the phone so I could get my piece of plastic, but I have to wait for them to credit me for it because I have to return the phone before they can give me my $10 back. [00:03:49] Speaker B: You honest, man. [00:03:51] Speaker C: He did thank me for my honesty. [00:03:54] Speaker F: It's true. I mean, you could have kept the $1,000 phone and just sold it. [00:03:57] Speaker C: I could have sold it and bought 100 plates. [00:04:00] Speaker E: You could have also just freely upgraded yourself and then sold your old phone. [00:04:05] Speaker C: I mean, I probably will do that anyway because I have Google Pixel Pass oh, my. Which allows me to upgrade every two years. Not sponsored anyway. [00:04:15] Speaker F: We're sponsored by at and T. [00:04:24] Speaker C: Shirt. [00:04:25] Speaker B: A lovely story. [00:04:27] Speaker E: For real, though, that was that was steamy. I had to take off my jacket mid that. [00:04:31] Speaker C: Oh, you did? [00:04:32] Speaker E: I did. [00:04:34] Speaker F: His arms are exposed, probably due to all the laughter. [00:04:39] Speaker C: Less of a banter, but more of a story. [00:04:45] Speaker B: Let's not put title to it. [00:04:47] Speaker C: Speaking of stories speaking of stories hey. [00:04:53] Speaker B: This is my thing. [00:04:59] Speaker E: You want to set the scene? [00:05:01] Speaker B: Well, we did. The previous Leon guy did it. [00:05:05] Speaker E: Can you set the scene for us? [00:05:07] Speaker C: I loved listening to that. [00:05:09] Speaker B: So, standing in front of you are these six robed figures. One of them has just made a pronouncement, has asked you to surrender in the name of the High King Aored. And in the I presume kind of moment of trying to figure out what is going on, he kind of cocks his head like he's listening to something, and then turns to the one standing next to him and says, change of plans, get the helmet. I don't care about casualties. And he begins to leave. And that's where we're going to roll for initiative. [00:05:40] Speaker D: What? [00:05:40] Speaker F: We have a helmet, right? [00:05:42] Speaker D: Do we have a helmet? [00:05:43] Speaker C: Pretty sure you I have a helmet. [00:05:45] Speaker D: Oh, no. [00:05:48] Speaker E: So we are to believe so far that ERID is dead. [00:05:53] Speaker B: That's what you've read. [00:05:54] Speaker F: When did he die? That, we read hundreds of years ago. So he could be Uber's dad. [00:06:00] Speaker E: Hey, Sven. Sven. I'm gonna leave this choice up to you. Should I or should I not do a thing? [00:06:08] Speaker C: Do it, do it. [00:06:12] Speaker F: Don't do it. [00:06:13] Speaker E: If that was good, screw, use fan. [00:06:18] Speaker F: Wow. [00:06:20] Speaker E: It's too late. I already rolled those dice. [00:06:25] Speaker B: So while you're looking that up, Zafir, what's your initiative? [00:06:29] Speaker C: Nine. Oh, I need to look at, I think uber 15. [00:06:34] Speaker B: Hamir. [00:06:35] Speaker F: I rolled an at 20 for a 27. [00:06:37] Speaker B: OOH. [00:06:38] Speaker F: Dang. [00:06:38] Speaker C: Oh, crap. I'm ten. [00:06:39] Speaker B: Sorry. [00:06:40] Speaker F: Wait, you're only ten? [00:06:42] Speaker D: You're ten? [00:06:42] Speaker C: Liar. [00:06:43] Speaker E: I thought you were 23. [00:06:45] Speaker C: I only said that so I could drink Dr. Pepper. [00:06:49] Speaker D: You're awfully tall for a ten year old near us. I do 16. [00:06:55] Speaker E: And Albert, I have to take a one plus my mod, so seven. [00:07:01] Speaker F: Bunch of kids over there. [00:07:04] Speaker B: All right, so we'll begin initiative with that 6th figure who has walked off. He has made it three quarters of the way out of the arena, heading towards the exit, and he has spent his whole turn just leaving. [00:07:16] Speaker C: Can you use millennial speech on that and not use three quarters? [00:07:22] Speaker E: Sure. [00:07:23] Speaker B: He is on fleek. [00:07:25] Speaker E: That's not jordy, please. So when it's done correct, using, like, millennial and Gen Z slang. Sounds like Shakespeare to me. And it is my favorite thing. Never do it again. [00:07:47] Speaker B: Forsooth the Scoundrel Yeeted himself. [00:07:55] Speaker E: Yotin, yoded, yo. [00:07:58] Speaker B: It is now Hamir's turn. [00:08:00] Speaker F: Hamir is going to do a pro gamer move known as delay. [00:08:05] Speaker E: I thought you were going to say run. [00:08:09] Speaker F: So I'm going to delay my turn until they get closer. [00:08:13] Speaker B: All right. It's going to be this guy here, and he brandishes a battle axe and begins moving towards the party and stops 10ft away from Hamir. [00:08:30] Speaker C: I'll go now. [00:08:36] Speaker F: Is it even worth doing esotericly? [00:08:38] Speaker B: Yeah, because that was the end of his turn. He drew a weapon and strode. [00:08:41] Speaker E: If you do do that, you get it theoretically on all of them. Because they're all theoretically human. [00:08:47] Speaker F: No, they don't share a weakness. [00:08:48] Speaker E: Oh, I thought they did. Or is that a thing you can get later? [00:08:51] Speaker F: They don't have any weaknesses to share. [00:08:54] Speaker B: So if they have a weakness, then he can procket on all of them. But if they don't have a weakness, he can impose a personal antithesis, which. [00:09:00] Speaker F: Is a one on one personal weakness. [00:09:03] Speaker E: You insult their mom. [00:09:04] Speaker F: Yeah, that's a personal weakness. [00:09:07] Speaker E: I mean, I would be in hurt if you insulted my mother. [00:09:10] Speaker B: Your mother? [00:09:11] Speaker F: I guess I'm just going to pull out my whip. [00:09:14] Speaker B: Your mother was a Hamster, and then father was another. [00:09:17] Speaker F: I'm going to attempt to trip this man. [00:09:20] Speaker C: Why did I want to say your father? [00:09:22] Speaker B: Whip my chains. [00:09:24] Speaker F: My apologies. It says whip on my character sheet. Because I reflavored the whip. [00:09:28] Speaker E: Oh, because you have chains? Yeah. [00:09:32] Speaker F: 18. [00:09:33] Speaker B: That's a success. [00:09:34] Speaker F: So he falls prone. [00:09:36] Speaker B: You just wrap that chain around his leg and just pull it out from under him. Nice. [00:09:39] Speaker F: And then I'm going to bring it down on his face to try and hit him again with a 17 to hit. [00:09:46] Speaker B: And that's a hit. [00:09:50] Speaker F: Ten damage. That was maximum on my whip without any weakness. [00:09:55] Speaker B: Nice. So you just rip his leg out from under him. The chain uncoils. You just swing it back around and crack it down across him. And he is not looking good. You might say he's bloodied. [00:10:05] Speaker F: That's my three actions. [00:10:07] Speaker B: All right, so Hamir has finished his turn. It's now the cultist in the center. [00:10:12] Speaker E: Oh, they're cultists. Okay. [00:10:14] Speaker F: They're in robes. [00:10:15] Speaker E: That doesn't mean they're cultists. [00:10:17] Speaker A: It kind of wear a robe to. [00:10:18] Speaker C: The I'm a cultist. [00:10:23] Speaker B: Let me do that without they also. [00:10:25] Speaker F: Said that they serve the dead mad king. [00:10:28] Speaker E: They didn't say they said in the name of him. That could mean a lot of things. [00:10:33] Speaker C: Anyway, him could be George of the Jungle. [00:10:37] Speaker D: The jungle? That's Tarzan. [00:10:41] Speaker B: What's? [00:10:41] Speaker A: They gonna do it. [00:10:43] Speaker D: Do they? Yeah. Oh, I'm stupid, because George of the. [00:10:45] Speaker F: Jungle is a parody of Tarzan. [00:10:47] Speaker D: Okay. [00:10:48] Speaker E: In my opinion, a much better version. [00:10:50] Speaker B: He's going to retard a little bit closer in the middle of the then he is going to shout at Hamir, lay down your arms or be destroyed. [00:11:01] Speaker F: Oh, I can do that, too. [00:11:03] Speaker B: And he's going to attempt to demoralize you. [00:11:05] Speaker F: Oh, I thought he was doing command. [00:11:07] Speaker C: Removes arms and lays. [00:11:09] Speaker F: What is that again? [00:11:10] Speaker B: Against your will. [00:11:11] Speaker F: DC 17. [00:11:13] Speaker B: He succeeds. So you are now frightened one. [00:11:17] Speaker F: What do you roll? [00:11:19] Speaker B: He got a 19, dang. [00:11:21] Speaker E: On the die. [00:11:22] Speaker B: Of course, on the die. [00:11:23] Speaker F: Got you. I'm frightened one. [00:11:26] Speaker B: Just as, like, your resolve to keep pushing forward is just being shaken by his commitment that I can definitely take you on. And then he's going to raise up his hand and make an arcane gesture towards the guy who's laying on the ground, having been smacked by Hamir's chain. And yeah, that's his turn. [00:11:53] Speaker E: I forget. Is recognizing a spell a free action? [00:11:56] Speaker B: It's a reaction, but you need a feat to do it. If you had this, unless it's in your hair and ready to cast, then you do recognize it sometimes if you. [00:12:06] Speaker E: Can know the spell. [00:12:07] Speaker B: Yeah, I think that's how that works. [00:12:10] Speaker F: Does any of you guys have guidance? [00:12:12] Speaker E: Yeah, I do. [00:12:13] Speaker F: You okay? Was it guidance, George? [00:12:15] Speaker E: I don't think it was guidance. [00:12:16] Speaker B: It is guidance. [00:12:17] Speaker E: Oh, sick. [00:12:20] Speaker F: He's not even going to get to use his guidance. [00:12:22] Speaker B: Okay, Neros, it's your turn. [00:12:24] Speaker D: Okay, first things first. I would like to who am I behind? Who is that? [00:12:32] Speaker B: Uber. [00:12:32] Speaker D: Uber. I'd like to step out from behind Uber. I don't want to be behind you, buddy. I'm sorry. [00:12:38] Speaker B: Which I'll allow you to freely position yourself. This is just where I dropped your tokens. [00:12:41] Speaker D: Oh. [00:12:43] Speaker B: As long as you don't go, like, oh, I'm going to be over here. [00:12:46] Speaker E: I would like to be behind those. [00:12:47] Speaker B: Boulders the other side of the map. [00:12:51] Speaker D: I do want to step up to be within 30ft of the guy that's closer to his friend. [00:12:59] Speaker B: That's too much. [00:13:00] Speaker D: Okay. [00:13:01] Speaker B: Got to be with the group. [00:13:08] Speaker E: No, Abby, you can't go there. [00:13:11] Speaker B: So that is the closest you can be to your friends. Do you want to get closer? You could be here. That would also be 30ft. [00:13:18] Speaker F: That feels like a regular starting point where she's at. That feels like a spot she could start. [00:13:24] Speaker B: Well, that is 25ft. It's a full stride action out of the door. [00:13:29] Speaker D: I'm okay with it. I don't care. [00:13:31] Speaker F: Whatever. [00:13:33] Speaker D: And then I want to cast telekinetic projectile at him. [00:13:38] Speaker C: Can I heighten that spell? Is that something I can heighten? [00:13:41] Speaker B: Not yet, because we don't have access to second level spells, so I think. [00:13:45] Speaker F: The hero point would allow that to happen. [00:13:47] Speaker C: Well, it does say that you can't heighten a spell above the highest level. [00:13:51] Speaker F: Of spell while you're the specimen cast. All right. I didn't realize a specimen. [00:13:54] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:13:55] Speaker D: All right, so that is a 15 to hit. [00:13:58] Speaker B: That'll be a miss. [00:13:59] Speaker D: Lovely. [00:14:00] Speaker B: What are you telekinetically projectiling? [00:14:02] Speaker D: A rock. A rock at his head, and it. [00:14:05] Speaker B: Goes past his head and kind of flutters the hood that he's got pulled up. And you see a bearded Viking face underneath. [00:14:12] Speaker C: Such a cool. [00:14:12] Speaker F: Is he wearing armor? [00:14:15] Speaker B: A little bit. Kind of lightly armored, mostly cloaked. [00:14:19] Speaker D: Okay. [00:14:20] Speaker B: All right. Stride telekinetic projectile. Uber, your turn. [00:14:25] Speaker A: Uber is going to see the guy go down that you. Hamir tripped. He's still alive, and he's going to take one look at Hamir and kind of sigh and turn to him and go, it would be better if we. [00:14:47] Speaker E: Could talk this out, perhaps to the. [00:14:50] Speaker B: Guy on the ground? [00:14:51] Speaker A: No, to the guy who just did us. Ricker guidance. [00:14:56] Speaker C: Ricker. [00:14:56] Speaker F: Ricardo, this Initiative tracker has his name as Ricker. [00:15:03] Speaker B: So are you, like, trying to talk him down? Okay, just chatting. Just chatting. He doesn't even seem to be paying attention to you. He seems to be more focused on kind of directing the remaining guys who are kind of holding back at this point. [00:15:18] Speaker C: Then so be it. [00:15:21] Speaker A: And you see. Uber, hold both hands out. [00:15:26] Speaker F: This is such a shame. [00:15:27] Speaker B: We could have just talked this out. [00:15:30] Speaker A: And cast magic missile three times at the same guy. [00:15:35] Speaker E: Nice. [00:15:36] Speaker B: All right, so those automatically hit. So go ahead and roll for damage. [00:15:43] Speaker A: See what we have here. [00:15:45] Speaker C: He's trying to get his dice out. He's got them out. He's rolling his dice. They're in the dice tray rolling. [00:15:51] Speaker E: He's not impressed. He's still not impressed. [00:15:56] Speaker D: Or he is, and he's just not. [00:15:58] Speaker E: Yeah, he's either not impressed or good at hiding it. [00:16:00] Speaker A: Seven. [00:16:00] Speaker C: Oh, that's bad on a D six. Sorry, I thought it was a six. [00:16:06] Speaker E: If magic missiles eat a D six, that would be the best spell. [00:16:09] Speaker A: You plus one to each of each, plus 310. [00:16:13] Speaker F: Oh, that's better. That's better. [00:16:15] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:16:15] Speaker F: I thought you were already adding the plus three. You rolled two ones and a two. [00:16:19] Speaker A: I rolled a one and two. [00:16:20] Speaker B: Three. [00:16:20] Speaker F: Oh, that's good. [00:16:21] Speaker E: That's nice. That's not bad. [00:16:22] Speaker F: It wasn't impressed by threes. What the heck? [00:16:24] Speaker B: So these little bolts of force just come careening out of your fingertips, curve their way unerringly across the battlefield, and just, like, blast through the black coat. And now, as it's had a couple of bits of damage done to the cloak, you can see that he's lightly armored. [00:16:40] Speaker C: That's why 15 didn't hit him. He's got armor zafir. Zafir is at least 120ft away. [00:16:50] Speaker F: Yes. [00:16:51] Speaker B: From what? [00:16:52] Speaker C: From anything. Trying to think of a good way to from Ricard. [00:17:00] Speaker E: Richard? [00:17:01] Speaker B: 45Ft away. Ricardo or I guess hold on, five. [00:17:04] Speaker C: Chat and 50 as long as I'm 120. [00:17:06] Speaker B: 30Ft away. [00:17:07] Speaker C: Okay, so my bow. Yeah, I guess I'll just draw my bow. I figure I probably didn't have it out already, but it's just for the show. It's not actually doing anything. Flavor bow, ray of frost. [00:17:27] Speaker E: All right, Ricardo, flavor bow is a match. [00:17:32] Speaker B: Make me. [00:17:32] Speaker F: I guess this guy laying on the ground is going to get a turn. [00:17:36] Speaker C: Maybe, but he doesn't matter. So that's a 18 to hit. [00:17:41] Speaker B: That's a hit. [00:17:42] Speaker F: Nine damage. I guess if we kill him, the others might just leave. [00:17:46] Speaker C: I figure if we kill the main guy, it'll demoralize the rest of them. [00:17:50] Speaker A: And you won't be frightened anymore. [00:17:53] Speaker C: Oh, nice. [00:17:54] Speaker F: Six till the end of my turn. [00:17:57] Speaker C: I sounded like a shocker from minecraft. [00:18:00] Speaker B: All right. And he takes those six cold damage as he's getting a chill and ice crystals developing on his arm. You have one action left. [00:18:08] Speaker C: Oh, I thought my drawing my bow. [00:18:10] Speaker B: Was I mean, if you're not actually using your bow for the strike, it'll be a flavor bow. [00:18:14] Speaker E: Flavor bows are free. Action. [00:18:16] Speaker C: I'm going to do a cartwheel 5ft to the left. [00:18:21] Speaker B: That's uber's space. [00:18:23] Speaker C: I will do a cartwheel 5ft to the south. [00:18:26] Speaker E: Wait, so does that count as a step action or stride action? [00:18:29] Speaker F: Bacon acrobatics. [00:18:30] Speaker A: Roll acrobatics. How good is this cartwheel? [00:18:34] Speaker C: I fell down. No, it's mid. It's pretty mid. But he gets back up. [00:18:40] Speaker E: He does that thing to where it's not a full cartwheel and stops halfway through. [00:18:44] Speaker D: Just plans his feet. [00:18:46] Speaker C: What is it called? Like a spring backspring backhand spring. [00:18:50] Speaker A: From experience, that is actually a little harder than a cartwheel. [00:18:52] Speaker C: Well, I mean, that's true. [00:18:54] Speaker F: I can even, surprisingly, do a cartwheel. I can't do a cartwheel. [00:18:58] Speaker C: I've never been able to do one. [00:18:59] Speaker D: I haven't been able to do one since I was like five bad guys. [00:19:02] Speaker F: Are going to go now. [00:19:03] Speaker B: So, yeah. The remaining three of these guys in robes have their turns, and they each draw their weapons and start closing in on Hamir. One of them attack moves right up next to Neros. But the other three are all in a line, moving towards Hamir in a unified front. It is now Alward's turn that's concerning. [00:19:27] Speaker F: Save the day, Alward. [00:19:30] Speaker E: I can do one of two things. [00:19:32] Speaker C: And do the second. [00:19:34] Speaker E: Okay, so one thing is I can agitate them. Just one, which is fun. Or the other thing I can go boof. [00:19:45] Speaker F: What does that mean? [00:19:47] Speaker D: What does go boof mean? [00:19:48] Speaker E: It means go boof. I don't know what you if you. [00:19:51] Speaker F: Are able to kill the guy who's laying down, then it will mean I go next. [00:19:55] Speaker E: I can do a grand total of damage. That's it. [00:20:00] Speaker F: With a telekinetic projectile. [00:20:02] Speaker E: With a telekinetic projectile, I can do a grand total of damage. [00:20:06] Speaker F: That's right enough to is that the boom? I did ten, and he was bloody to kill them. [00:20:10] Speaker C: At least nine. [00:20:12] Speaker D: Incapacitate him. At least. [00:20:13] Speaker B: So the interesting thing about spells is you need a special feat to make spells non lethal. [00:20:18] Speaker F: Unless the spell specifically fair enough. Fair enough. [00:20:22] Speaker C: I feel like telekinetic projectile, you could decide. No, it's like if you throw a pillow at them. [00:20:26] Speaker F: No, it's fast enough to do one d six plus four damage. [00:20:32] Speaker E: Technically force damage. So it's not the object doing the well, no, it's bludgeoning. [00:20:38] Speaker F: It's not force. If it was force, the pillow moves. [00:20:40] Speaker E: So fast it can't decompress. [00:20:45] Speaker B: Well, have you ever seen a man eviscerated by a pillow. [00:20:49] Speaker E: I'm going to make a character. [00:20:52] Speaker F: It's like, ublek, I can see why you wouldn't want to murder a man. [00:20:57] Speaker E: So instead, what I'm going to do presuming that the Ruffian is going to stay down. I'm going to cast agitate on him. [00:21:10] Speaker F: Not bad. [00:21:11] Speaker E: So what he needs to do is. [00:21:12] Speaker C: Make a will saving throw, or else he begins grumbling. [00:21:16] Speaker B: What's the DC? [00:21:17] Speaker E: The DC is 18. [00:21:23] Speaker B: A regular success. [00:21:24] Speaker E: Okay, so this is only going to last one round. [00:21:26] Speaker B: Okay. [00:21:27] Speaker E: So if he does not take the stride action, he will take two D eight mental damage because he is restless. And then I'm going to move 30ft southwest. [00:21:39] Speaker F: All the enemies are north of us. [00:21:42] Speaker C: So happy that we've adopted the cardinal directions rather than left and right. [00:21:47] Speaker E: Left and right are variable. [00:21:50] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:21:51] Speaker B: Cardinal directions are forever, but every map. [00:21:53] Speaker F: We'Re on will always face. [00:21:54] Speaker E: But that was my last level one spell slot. [00:21:58] Speaker C: Could I have heightened it? No. [00:22:00] Speaker B: It is now the guy who was leaving's Turn and he is gone. He has left the arena. [00:22:07] Speaker E: I feel like we should have stopped him. [00:22:08] Speaker F: I don't think there was any way we possibly could. [00:22:10] Speaker D: Yeah, we had an imminent threat. [00:22:13] Speaker F: He was too far away. I don't think any of us could literally do any I could. [00:22:18] Speaker B: And now the agitated Ruffians Alward stops time. He's going to spend his first action standing up and he'll spend his second action stepping to Hamir. [00:22:34] Speaker E: Oh, I thought he was grappled, not tripped. I'm dumb. I'm very dumb. [00:22:39] Speaker F: I was wondering why he did that. [00:22:40] Speaker E: Yeah, I'm stupid. I'm sorry. [00:22:42] Speaker B: He stepped to Hamir and now he's going to attempt to grapple Hamir. [00:22:47] Speaker E: Oh, he didn't shride. [00:22:49] Speaker C: Thank you. [00:22:50] Speaker B: Well, he doesn't know if Hamir has an opportunity attack or not. [00:22:52] Speaker E: True. [00:22:54] Speaker F: What's he doing? Grappling. [00:22:55] Speaker B: He's attempting to grapple you. [00:22:57] Speaker F: That's funny. [00:22:58] Speaker B: What's your fortitude? DC? [00:23:00] Speaker F: 17. Oh, sorry. 16 right now because I'm frightened. [00:23:06] Speaker B: He succeeds. [00:23:08] Speaker F: Cool. [00:23:08] Speaker B: And you are grabbed. [00:23:10] Speaker F: Let go of me. [00:23:12] Speaker B: And it is the end of twelve points of damage. [00:23:15] Speaker F: He's dead. [00:23:16] Speaker E: Mental damage. It's non lethal. [00:23:18] Speaker B: Non lethal? [00:23:19] Speaker E: Yes. [00:23:19] Speaker B: What my spells non lethal. [00:23:21] Speaker F: Wait, does it specify? [00:23:22] Speaker B: Yes. [00:23:23] Speaker E: I will pull up again. I specifically grabbed this spell because it's one of the only first level spells that are non lethal. [00:23:29] Speaker F: It is non lethal. That's wonderful. [00:23:30] Speaker B: So he steps up, grabs Hamir, and just as Hamir's beginning to pull away, his grip loosens and his eyes just kind of roll back in his head and he just collapses to the ground. [00:23:39] Speaker E: Is he going to be okay? [00:23:42] Speaker B: Maybe. [00:23:43] Speaker F: No. [00:23:44] Speaker C: I'm a little scared of you now. Just walks forward and just collapses. [00:23:49] Speaker E: I should mention, basically, I gave him the jitters and he didn't listen to what his jitters were telling him to do. [00:23:56] Speaker B: Hey, mirror. [00:23:58] Speaker F: How far away is Ricard from me? Movement wise? [00:24:02] Speaker B: Movement wise? 40ft. Sorry, 35ft. [00:24:06] Speaker F: Oh, so I can move 30ft and be within 10ft of him. Yes, I will do that. [00:24:13] Speaker B: And you just push your way through these ruffians who are unable to stop you. [00:24:17] Speaker E: Pardon me? [00:24:18] Speaker B: Opportunity. [00:24:20] Speaker F: I'm going to attempt to trip him. [00:24:23] Speaker B: All right. [00:24:24] Speaker C: Man, you just like tripping people, don't you? [00:24:25] Speaker F: 19. [00:24:26] Speaker B: That's a success. [00:24:28] Speaker F: And then I'll try and whack him. What? [00:24:30] Speaker E: He's good. [00:24:31] Speaker C: Oh, he's good. [00:24:34] Speaker F: Eleven to hit. [00:24:35] Speaker B: That's not a hit. But he is tripped. [00:24:38] Speaker F: All right, that's the end of my turn. I'm no longer frightened. [00:24:42] Speaker B: Nice. It is now Ricard's turn. He is going to spend his first action standing. [00:24:50] Speaker F: Hello there. [00:24:52] Speaker B: Oh, this is tough. This is a tough choice for him. [00:24:56] Speaker E: Right away. [00:24:58] Speaker C: Was Lil Ricky gonna cry? [00:25:02] Speaker B: Little Ricky is going to reach a hand up into the sky, and his hand will ignite with, like, white flame tinged with black. And he'll press it against his chest, and it'll course over him as he regains 13 HP. [00:25:22] Speaker C: Heal on himself is twice as much as I dealt. [00:25:26] Speaker F: You use a one action heel, a two action. [00:25:28] Speaker A: He just undid everything I did. [00:25:30] Speaker F: Yeah, he did two D. Eight plus or he did one D eight plus eight. Only 13. That's not that good of a role. But still, that was a good waste of his turn. [00:25:41] Speaker E: I think that was a good waste. [00:25:43] Speaker B: Okay. I couldn't do math. Neros it's okay. [00:25:47] Speaker D: Math hard. I don't like there's. Okay. So I'm going to spend a focus point. [00:25:57] Speaker F: Whoa. [00:25:58] Speaker D: Yeah. And you see my arms go. [00:26:06] Speaker E: As. [00:26:06] Speaker B: You'Re doing that near us, the guy next to you just kind of recoils a bit. [00:26:10] Speaker D: The valid reaction. [00:26:11] Speaker B: And you recognize him. [00:26:13] Speaker D: What? Hang on. Is this who I think it is? [00:26:16] Speaker B: It might be. Who do you think it is? [00:26:19] Speaker D: Is it one of the mages that I met before? [00:26:21] Speaker B: No. [00:26:22] Speaker D: Oh, well, who is it? [00:26:23] Speaker B: It was the highway man who accosted you on your way to town. [00:26:26] Speaker F: Oh, those idiots. [00:26:29] Speaker C: Man, he gets around. [00:26:30] Speaker E: He does get around. [00:26:32] Speaker F: Are these all those idiots? Wait, is Ricard that guy we helped escort? [00:26:37] Speaker B: No, he looks very different. [00:26:38] Speaker C: Okay. [00:26:38] Speaker D: He was wearing robes, which is why I had that question. [00:26:42] Speaker B: No, this looks it's a very course, like, cheap robe. [00:26:46] Speaker D: Oh, okay. [00:26:47] Speaker B: They're very obviously using the robes to obscure their identity. [00:26:50] Speaker C: I see you're right next to this guy. [00:26:56] Speaker A: Party City. [00:26:57] Speaker D: All right. Yeah, that's a valid reaction. I would recoil, too, if I saw someone randomly change their arms into tentacles. [00:27:04] Speaker B: Randomly. Last time he saw you, he was like, Man, I really like her. And then he's like, hey, it's that oh. [00:27:12] Speaker F: You know, Uber gave these guys a chance to talk. They should have known better. [00:27:20] Speaker D: I should have nero she looks at sky and it's like, oh, see? Again. Hello. She winks at him. He reaches out with a tentacle, smacks him in the face. [00:27:41] Speaker E: I told you to have tea. [00:27:47] Speaker F: I mean, they might not be super happy because he would know he'd be charmed. [00:27:51] Speaker D: Hang on math. [00:27:52] Speaker E: Math is hard. [00:27:54] Speaker D: Panic. [00:27:55] Speaker E: Don't panic. [00:27:56] Speaker B: No panic. It makes you count faster. [00:27:58] Speaker D: Hang on. [00:27:59] Speaker E: What? [00:28:02] Speaker C: It may not be correct, but it'll make you count. [00:28:04] Speaker D: 21. [00:28:05] Speaker B: That's a hit. [00:28:06] Speaker D: Smack him in the face. [00:28:07] Speaker B: Smack him in the face with your tentacles. [00:28:12] Speaker D: Three damage. [00:28:13] Speaker B: Nice. [00:28:14] Speaker F: Yeah, love it. [00:28:15] Speaker B: He done got smacked. [00:28:17] Speaker C: Dung got smacked. Yo. [00:28:23] Speaker D: I don't know if I should say this or not. [00:28:25] Speaker F: Do it. [00:28:27] Speaker D: She smacks him. She's like, did you miss me? [00:28:32] Speaker E: That's so good. [00:28:34] Speaker B: He reaches up a hand to where he was smacked and just looks very confused. [00:28:38] Speaker D: She smacks him on the other cheek. [00:28:41] Speaker B: What is this feeling? [00:28:44] Speaker D: I don't know. That I'm going to hit. [00:28:45] Speaker E: What's the minus five? Four. [00:28:49] Speaker D: Yeah, that's a ten. [00:28:51] Speaker B: Yeah, that won't be a hit. [00:28:52] Speaker D: Okay. [00:28:53] Speaker C: But he's love struck, so the first. [00:28:56] Speaker B: One hits him and you're like, did you miss me? And he looks so confused, and you swing again. He just kind of ducks a little bit, but he just looks like he's not sure if he feels betrayed, confused or moving on. Uber, your turn. [00:29:10] Speaker D: The right reaction. [00:29:11] Speaker C: He didn't miss mew, but you sure missed him. [00:29:18] Speaker A: Uber is going to see him do that and go, they've got to make this so difficult. And once again, he raises one hand this time, and he needs to make a fortitude save. [00:29:29] Speaker B: Same guy? [00:29:30] Speaker A: Same guy. [00:29:31] Speaker B: All right. [00:29:31] Speaker A: As tendrils of darkness just curl out of my finger. [00:29:34] Speaker E: What is with hitting the face through. [00:29:35] Speaker C: The air with tendril. [00:29:36] Speaker F: Tendrils. That's a line, right? [00:29:39] Speaker D: Are you going to hit me area? [00:29:41] Speaker A: Oh, 30 foot line it is, but you're out of the way. [00:29:45] Speaker F: Well, you should be able to hit another guy. [00:29:47] Speaker A: Can I? [00:29:48] Speaker E: If you move, if you position yeah. [00:29:50] Speaker B: You could go to here and hit the two in this line back here, or no, never mind. It's adding the extra diagonals. You're fine. You can actually start it without moving. [00:29:58] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:29:58] Speaker B: Okay. [00:29:59] Speaker F: You don't have to move. [00:30:00] Speaker A: I will do that. [00:30:01] Speaker B: All right. So what was the DC? [00:30:04] Speaker A: DC of 18? [00:30:06] Speaker B: They both got a regular fail. Perfect. [00:30:11] Speaker A: They take full damage. [00:30:13] Speaker F: More tentacles. [00:30:15] Speaker D: Tentacles for days. [00:30:17] Speaker F: That guy just got slightly smacked by two tentacles. [00:30:22] Speaker D: Grim tendrils. [00:30:24] Speaker F: The grim ones come by. [00:30:29] Speaker A: Eight damage. So full damage. [00:30:32] Speaker D: Nice. [00:30:32] Speaker A: And one persistent bleed. [00:30:36] Speaker F: We hear, like, persistent damage on our enemies. [00:30:39] Speaker D: Yes. Not on us. Unless never mind. [00:30:43] Speaker B: And that's just one persistent bleed. Yep. [00:30:45] Speaker F: One bleed damage. [00:30:48] Speaker C: All right. [00:30:49] Speaker D: True. [00:30:50] Speaker B: Oh, by the way, that did bloody the one that was tentacle smacked those two actions. UVair, you have one action. [00:30:59] Speaker A: Uber, cast shield. [00:31:04] Speaker B: Is there anything special about how that looks? [00:31:07] Speaker A: So you're going to see him that one hand and the tendrils come out. Hit both of those and the other hand no, you're going to see a glow on his shoulder just kind of kind of peeking out through the gaps in his clothing as this green energy just kind of comes out of it and then covers his entire body. [00:31:30] Speaker B: Nice noise. Zafir. [00:31:35] Speaker C: I'm going to take a couple steps forward towards the guy to the right of the one who has been agitated to death. [00:31:43] Speaker E: He's not dead. [00:31:45] Speaker C: He's sleeping right up against him. And Zafir is going to his eyes are going to flash red, like bright red. And he says, I have had enough of this today. And he's going to turn his hand into a gouging claw and try to go for that guy. [00:32:05] Speaker B: Nice. [00:32:06] Speaker C: And he is not even going to touch him. [00:32:11] Speaker E: Not even worth telling you the numbers moment, though. [00:32:14] Speaker F: But what was the number? [00:32:14] Speaker A: Is it greater than a one? [00:32:16] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:32:17] Speaker F: What was the total, though? [00:32:18] Speaker C: Okay, so it's a ten. [00:32:21] Speaker B: Gets close and he just kind of ducks a little bit and the claw gets tangled up in the robes and it doesn't quite make contact. [00:32:28] Speaker C: Can I actually spend a card or is it past time? [00:32:32] Speaker B: I mean, you can spend a card now because you knew what the result was and you were telling me it. [00:32:37] Speaker C: Wasn'T going to yeah. Anyway, we're going to reroll that. [00:32:47] Speaker E: Is it the same thing? [00:32:48] Speaker C: It's the same number. Here. I've got two cards. [00:32:53] Speaker E: I don't think you can spend it for the same roll. [00:32:54] Speaker C: I can't. No. [00:32:56] Speaker F: Only one card per roll. [00:32:57] Speaker E: But you can use that card if it applicable. But you can't spend I feel like. [00:33:01] Speaker C: We'Ve done that before, but okay, I've used a card. [00:33:04] Speaker E: I've spent a card, but then I used the ability of a card on the same roll. [00:33:08] Speaker C: Okay, well. [00:33:11] Speaker F: I believe in you. [00:33:13] Speaker C: I'm going to try again with the penalty. Is that all right? [00:33:16] Speaker B: I should have one action gouging claw. I think it's a two action attack. [00:33:19] Speaker C: Oh, and I moved, so I'm definitely out of actions. Okay, just cut me out of that part. I did nothing. [00:33:27] Speaker E: You did a cool thing. [00:33:29] Speaker B: You did. [00:33:29] Speaker A: Your eyes glowed. [00:33:30] Speaker E: It's just the dude dodged dodge. [00:33:33] Speaker B: Who's. [00:33:34] Speaker C: Too emotional. Use dodge. [00:33:36] Speaker B: It was slightly effective. Well, it's actually his turn. And because you've stepped up to engage him, he's going to fight you. [00:33:43] Speaker C: I'm okay with that. [00:33:46] Speaker B: So he swings his battle axe at the 20 to hit. [00:33:51] Speaker C: That hits. [00:33:53] Speaker B: And he deals six slashing damage. And then he will swing a second time. That's a miss. Just got a twelve that hit. [00:34:05] Speaker C: No, I'm kidding. I've learned from my actions. I'll dodge the first time. I just stood there. [00:34:15] Speaker B: And then he's going to step to the side here. No, sorry, here. So he steps back away from you towards Hamir. It is now the tentacle slapped Chalo's turn. [00:34:27] Speaker F: And he surrenders. [00:34:29] Speaker B: No. [00:34:30] Speaker E: Out of love. He surrenders. [00:34:33] Speaker C: Stop. [00:34:34] Speaker F: In the name of love. Roll a wheel save to see if you fall for her. [00:34:41] Speaker C: Is this what falling in love looks like? [00:34:44] Speaker E: I don't think so. [00:34:47] Speaker F: You don't know his sister. [00:34:49] Speaker B: He's going to swing his axe to try to remove the tentacle. What. [00:34:54] Speaker F: Which remove the tentacle. [00:34:55] Speaker B: The one that smacked him. He's swinging his axe. [00:34:58] Speaker F: Oh, he's going to try and chop it off. [00:35:00] Speaker B: Yes. [00:35:01] Speaker D: Oh, he's going to try and hit. [00:35:03] Speaker B: 24 to hit. [00:35:04] Speaker D: Hang on, I'm not on the right page. Yeah, that hits. [00:35:08] Speaker B: So you take twelve slashing damage. [00:35:12] Speaker F: Oh, man, they do a lot of damage. [00:35:15] Speaker D: That took literally took me down half my hit points. [00:35:20] Speaker B: And he sees that he got a really good chunk cut into with that axe. So he pulls it back and swings for a second. Go for an 18 to hit. [00:35:32] Speaker D: Yeah, that hits. [00:35:34] Speaker B: And he deals this world. Max damage twice in a row. [00:35:39] Speaker F: Twelve more damage. [00:35:40] Speaker D: No. [00:35:40] Speaker E: Neros, are you downed? [00:35:43] Speaker D: I'm at zero. [00:35:45] Speaker B: So Neros drops unconscious and is now dying. One. [00:35:49] Speaker C: What? [00:35:52] Speaker D: Do you hate me? [00:35:55] Speaker B: He doesn't like those tentacles, I guess. [00:35:59] Speaker F: He really didn't like being charmed. [00:36:02] Speaker C: I feel like he has something against you. [00:36:05] Speaker E: You say as you go down. [00:36:07] Speaker A: They say fury, but it swapped this time. [00:36:11] Speaker E: The tentacle on his face just slides down. [00:36:14] Speaker A: Final action. [00:36:15] Speaker F: He attacks again. [00:36:16] Speaker B: No, he's going to move up to Hamir. [00:36:18] Speaker D: I was like, Are you going to hit me while I'm down? [00:36:20] Speaker B: No, you're down. You're not a threat right now. [00:36:23] Speaker D: I would be so angry at you. [00:36:25] Speaker C: You don't even seem to be the target. Hamir is. [00:36:30] Speaker B: Then it's the last of these three ruffians that are still up. He's going to move to where he's flanking Hamir and swing at him. Nine against your flat footed. [00:36:47] Speaker F: Critical fail. Not against flat footed. [00:36:51] Speaker B: He's going to try again. 13 against flat footed. No, he's sad. He strode and he swung twice. He's sad. He's looking across you at his budy, and he's like, I wish I could be more like you, Alward. [00:37:11] Speaker E: Okay, so Alward sees Neros go down, and then his psyche is going to unleash due to that. [00:37:19] Speaker B: And this is the first time that Alward has unleashed his psyche? [00:37:23] Speaker E: Well, technically not, but yeah, first time on Cam. [00:37:26] Speaker C: Describe it to us. [00:37:27] Speaker E: First time that's going to be released. [00:37:29] Speaker C: Describe it to us. [00:37:30] Speaker F: I want to see what it looks like. [00:37:32] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:37:32] Speaker E: So what happens? He sees her go down, and then just a five foot area around him, a burst happens, and then the satchel full of metallic ball bearings falls out, and they start flying around him as like, math numbers get picked up in the dirt and start just appearing and disappearing with particles of dust surrounding him as well. How far away are the two guy? The one that killed that down near Neuros in the other one? [00:38:03] Speaker B: Let's see. [00:38:04] Speaker F: You're dead about 25ft. [00:38:08] Speaker D: Not dead yet. [00:38:09] Speaker B: That's what the rough? 30ft to the first one and 40ft to the second. [00:38:15] Speaker E: Can I move to get within 30ft of each? Yeah. [00:38:19] Speaker B: Do you want to be right next to Neros? [00:38:21] Speaker E: Yeah, that'll work. [00:38:21] Speaker B: Okay. [00:38:23] Speaker E: And then I'm going to amp my telekinetic rend and select both squares that they're in. They need to make basic fortitude save basic reflex. [00:38:33] Speaker B: You said fortitude. Fortitude. [00:38:35] Speaker E: It should be reflex. In all honesty. What's your DC 18? [00:38:43] Speaker B: They both pass. [00:38:46] Speaker E: So half damage, but it's going to be one D, six of Bludgeoning, one D, six of slashing damage, and an additional two because of my unleashed psyche. [00:38:57] Speaker F: Nice. [00:39:00] Speaker E: Of course, I roll as minimal as possible. Six total, one slashing, three Bludgeoning, and then two additional. [00:39:08] Speaker C: Dang it's. [00:39:09] Speaker E: Okay. [00:39:10] Speaker C: It's better than I did. [00:39:11] Speaker E: Well, they are going to take three damage. [00:39:14] Speaker C: It's better than I did. [00:39:16] Speaker B: All right. And they take it. It makes you feel better. They rolled very, very well. [00:39:21] Speaker F: It doesn't makes us more upset. [00:39:24] Speaker E: Actually it does, because that was my last psychic point. [00:39:28] Speaker B: Oh, no. [00:39:28] Speaker E: Focus point. [00:39:29] Speaker C: If I focus on him hard enough, can I give him back a focus point? I will focus on you. [00:39:35] Speaker E: Thank you. [00:39:36] Speaker B: I focus on you. I do a three turn focus. Hey, Mirror, you've heard Neros go down behind you and you're now flanked by these two guys, and you have what seems to be their leader in front of you. What do you do? [00:39:47] Speaker F: He looks down to his chalice, sees the scroll that he always holds in the same hand as his chalice, and he loosens his grip of it as it unfurls and he raises it up and he casts two action heel on Neros. [00:40:01] Speaker E: Nice. [00:40:03] Speaker D: It's so nice of you. [00:40:06] Speaker F: 13 hit points, noise. [00:40:07] Speaker D: Nice. [00:40:08] Speaker B: What a familiar role for a two action heel. [00:40:11] Speaker C: Yeah, deja vu. [00:40:14] Speaker F: And he's going to go ahead and whack the guy that's not Ricard, the ruffian who was roughed up by the tentacles. [00:40:23] Speaker B: Which reminds me, he's had a turn and he hasn't taken bleed, so I'm going to tick that. [00:40:26] Speaker F: He's not looking great, right? [00:40:27] Speaker B: No, he's not. [00:40:28] Speaker F: The other one's untouched though, right? [00:40:30] Speaker B: He got scraped by the telekinetic rend. [00:40:33] Speaker F: Well, I'll go ahead and hit the guy who's not looking great with an 18. [00:40:38] Speaker B: That's a hit. [00:40:40] Speaker F: Well, minimum 610 damage. [00:40:44] Speaker B: And that was lethal damage. [00:40:46] Speaker F: Yes. [00:40:47] Speaker B: So he's down and bleeding out. [00:40:49] Speaker F: That's fine. Oh, these guys are bleeding out. They're not just dead. No. Oh, no. [00:40:55] Speaker B: So here's what I'm thinking. [00:40:57] Speaker F: Because he might be in love with Neros, neros might want to save his. [00:41:00] Speaker B: Life because there's been expressed intentions in the party for people to not necessarily die, I'm actually going to track their death. [00:41:07] Speaker F: That's fine. [00:41:08] Speaker B: But hey, Mirror is dying one and still has one persistent bleed because it hasn't ended yet. [00:41:14] Speaker F: Oh, that's fine. And I guess that's my three actions as the scroll kind of just burns up and turns to ash. [00:41:21] Speaker B: Nice. [00:41:22] Speaker F: Make that worth it. [00:41:24] Speaker D: No guarantee. [00:41:25] Speaker B: All right, it is now Rykard's turn. He's going to step up into the same space, just like over his companion. [00:41:35] Speaker F: Can you do that? Technically, yes. [00:41:38] Speaker B: So if you are downed, you are not an obstacle on the map. Then as one action, he's going to touch the guy who's on the ground, you squishy and restore him to two HP. He still has bleeds and then step off of that space with his final action because he can't actually stay in that same space. [00:41:59] Speaker C: Nerd, just because he's alive doesn't mean he can't stand with him. [00:42:05] Speaker B: Well, now, yeah, he can't be in the same space as an active combatant. [00:42:10] Speaker C: I just think that's funny. [00:42:12] Speaker B: Neros, question. Yes? [00:42:14] Speaker D: Do I have to stand up to cast a spell? No, I'm going to cast from the ground. Then. [00:42:21] Speaker F: You actually only take penalties to melee attacks from the ground. [00:42:25] Speaker D: Wait, so the guy who I may or may not have a love connection. [00:42:29] Speaker F: With, he's laying on the ground with two hit points and he's bleeding? [00:42:33] Speaker D: Do I see that he's awake or anything? [00:42:36] Speaker B: Yeah, I would say that he's just as conscious as you are right now because you were both healed within seconds of each other. [00:42:41] Speaker E: Also, Albert is standing next to you with balls floating around him. [00:42:44] Speaker D: That's weird. All right, deal with that later. [00:42:50] Speaker A: Processing that later. [00:42:52] Speaker D: So Neros looks up at the highwaymen guy, and she's like, I did not appreciate that. She extends her tentacle and casts phantom pain on this guy. I need a will save the one that downed you. [00:43:12] Speaker E: Yeah, that's at two HP. [00:43:14] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:43:16] Speaker B: What's your decent? [00:43:17] Speaker F: Murder him. [00:43:19] Speaker D: I may kill him anyway. 17. [00:43:21] Speaker B: So he fails. [00:43:22] Speaker D: Okay, good. I don't know if this is going to matter after I tell you the damage. Do you want to know the damage first or the effect first? [00:43:32] Speaker B: Sure. What's the damage? [00:43:33] Speaker D: Five. [00:43:33] Speaker B: And is that non lethal or is it lethal damage? [00:43:36] Speaker D: It's mental damage. [00:43:37] Speaker B: He's bleeding, so it doesn't specify non lethal. [00:43:40] Speaker F: He's bleeding also don't think it matters. [00:43:43] Speaker B: So he just grabs his head and then just passes out again. And he's now dying, too. And bleeding. Still. [00:43:52] Speaker E: Phantom pain is secondary ability. [00:43:54] Speaker D: Okay, so you failed, right? [00:43:55] Speaker B: Yes. [00:43:55] Speaker D: Okay. Target takes full initial damage and persistent damage, so that's one d four persistent mental damage. [00:44:01] Speaker B: Oh, my gosh. [00:44:02] Speaker F: So he's taking two instances of persistent. [00:44:04] Speaker D: Damage and the target is sickened one. If he recovers from being sickened, the persistent damage ends and the spell ends. [00:44:16] Speaker E: As an aside, the mental damage is. [00:44:19] Speaker F: Non lethal, so that wouldn't stack dying. Right. The persistent mental damage. [00:44:24] Speaker B: So from phantom pain, it's non lethal damage. [00:44:26] Speaker E: I double checked. [00:44:27] Speaker F: So once he wakes up, he'll take one d four mental damage just to get knocked back out. [00:44:33] Speaker D: Did not like that. [00:44:34] Speaker F: But he is bleeding out. Dying. [00:44:36] Speaker A: He has one persistent bleed. [00:44:37] Speaker F: He's a dying two now. [00:44:39] Speaker D: In two hits, he took me down to zero. [00:44:42] Speaker F: Wounded when he got back. [00:44:43] Speaker D: Not appreciate. [00:44:44] Speaker B: No one likes he's wounded one. But when he was downed, he wasn't given the dying condition because it was non lethal. [00:44:49] Speaker F: All right, okay. But he'll be given at the end of his turn. [00:44:52] Speaker C: Yes. [00:44:53] Speaker B: All right, Neros, you've done a two action cast. You've got one action left. [00:45:01] Speaker D: I got nothing. [00:45:02] Speaker F: You could stand up. [00:45:04] Speaker D: I could stand up. [00:45:06] Speaker E: Do it. [00:45:06] Speaker D: I'm going to stand up. That'll be me. [00:45:10] Speaker E: Push your tentacles off the ground. [00:45:12] Speaker D: My tentacles to stand up. [00:45:16] Speaker E: And actually, I don't think you still have them, but I love the mental image of just your is it a concentrate or is it a duration? [00:45:24] Speaker D: I think it's duration. [00:45:25] Speaker B: Yeah. It doesn't have sustain duration. [00:45:28] Speaker D: 1 minute. [00:45:30] Speaker A: How far away am I from the spellcaster, Duke? [00:45:36] Speaker F: 30Ft. [00:45:37] Speaker B: 25Ft. [00:45:39] Speaker F: 25 off. [00:45:40] Speaker A: You're going to see this white light come from one hand as Uber just reaches out with the other one, like he's caressing something, as he casts reach and chill touch. [00:45:56] Speaker E: OOH, nice. [00:45:58] Speaker F: Shakalaka. [00:45:59] Speaker B: Is that an attack roll? I always forget that one. [00:46:00] Speaker A: That is a fortitude. [00:46:02] Speaker B: All right, what's the DC 18 and chill touch. That's a regular fail. [00:46:07] Speaker C: Nice. [00:46:08] Speaker E: Why couldn't you regular fail with me, Jordy? [00:46:10] Speaker F: Because it's you. [00:46:11] Speaker C: I know. [00:46:14] Speaker A: Spell deals negative damage equal to my spell castings. [00:46:17] Speaker B: Nice. [00:46:18] Speaker A: Seven. [00:46:20] Speaker B: He is bloodied. [00:46:25] Speaker E: Nobody likes you, Rickard. [00:46:26] Speaker A: And that's my turn. [00:46:27] Speaker B: All right, zafir. [00:46:29] Speaker E: Zafir. [00:46:30] Speaker C: Okay, so I do have a question. Can I split up my movement as long as it doesn't exceed my 25ft? [00:46:36] Speaker B: It depends on what you're doing. [00:46:38] Speaker C: So I have a spell here that I want to cast, but it is by touch. So I need to touch and then own a book. [00:46:46] Speaker B: It got you. So, with that context, you would have to spend an action to move, spend an action to touch, and then you would have to spend an additional action to move again. And that has to do with partially just the balance of the game, but also the question of how quickly are you able to stop and do something on a dime and then move again. [00:47:05] Speaker E: Okay. [00:47:06] Speaker C: Then in that case, I will just use my movement to run to Hamir. [00:47:11] Speaker F: Oh, hello. [00:47:12] Speaker C: And I'm going to get into reach of him and I'm going to just run up and pat you on the back and say, you've got this, and I'm going to cast shattering gem on you. [00:47:27] Speaker E: Nice. [00:47:28] Speaker F: What is it? [00:47:30] Speaker E: Punch it. [00:47:31] Speaker C: It's a gem. Extremely useful situation. [00:47:35] Speaker F: Thanks. [00:47:36] Speaker C: Just don't attack it yourself. [00:47:39] Speaker F: Why would I do that? [00:47:41] Speaker E: For the fun of it. [00:47:46] Speaker C: And a wink at you not looking at. And that's all I'm going to do because do I need to explain that at all for yeah, let's go ahead. [00:47:55] Speaker B: And explain what that'll do. [00:47:57] Speaker C: So, shattering gem. It creates a large gem that floats around my target, which is Hamir in an erratic pattern. Erratic. I will specify. And the gem itself has five hit points. But each time a creature strikes at Hamir, they have to attempt a DC Eleven flat check. And on a success, the gem blocks the attack but takes the damage. So did I say, yeah, it already has five, but once it hits zero hit points, it shatters immediately dealing the creature that destroyed it slashing damage as long as it is within 10ft of the creature. [00:48:40] Speaker B: All right. It is now the ruffian, who's not currently engaged with anyone yet engaged? Engaged in combat. [00:48:50] Speaker D: Ruffian. [00:48:51] Speaker B: Will you see that other ruffian go down and go? [00:48:54] Speaker C: Now's my chance. [00:48:56] Speaker B: He does see an opportunity, though. And he moves in to flank Zafir. [00:49:00] Speaker D: Oh, no, it's all good. [00:49:02] Speaker F: So good. [00:49:02] Speaker B: And he swings his battle axe. [00:49:05] Speaker F: I don't have any more heels. [00:49:08] Speaker B: An 18 against your flat footed AC. [00:49:11] Speaker C: That would hit if I'm flat footed. I mean, it hits anyway, I guess. [00:49:17] Speaker F: Jack. [00:49:17] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:49:17] Speaker B: And he deals. Six damage. [00:49:19] Speaker C: Six damage. He did that last time. [00:49:21] Speaker B: And he swings a second time. [00:49:22] Speaker E: He did twelve damage last time and. [00:49:25] Speaker B: He misses a second time. [00:49:26] Speaker A: Good. [00:49:28] Speaker B: The bandit who is taking the bleed damage from the Grim tendrils is now dying too. Continues to bleed and then takes mental damage, but it's non lethal. [00:49:43] Speaker E: So he's having a bad dream right now. [00:49:48] Speaker D: He's having a bad day. [00:49:49] Speaker C: He must have seen what we saw. [00:49:51] Speaker A: In the but the dream is fading little by little. [00:49:53] Speaker B: Yes, the light is getting dark. [00:49:55] Speaker C: Starts twitching. [00:49:57] Speaker D: REM sleep. [00:49:59] Speaker B: Now it's the other one on the north side of Zephyr. But he's not going to swing at Zafir. He's going to attempt to grapple Hamir. [00:50:08] Speaker C: Does that do anything with the Shattering Gem? [00:50:10] Speaker B: He fails to grapple hamir. [00:50:12] Speaker F: Did he critically fail? [00:50:13] Speaker B: Possibly. Hold on. What's your fortitude bones or fortitude Petite? [00:50:18] Speaker E: Asked a good question. [00:50:19] Speaker C: Since it's targeted towards Hamir with the. [00:50:22] Speaker E: Shattering Gem, it does have the attack trait. [00:50:24] Speaker B: Yeah. What is the wording when a creature strikes or when a creature attacks? [00:50:28] Speaker F: Let me check. [00:50:29] Speaker C: Each time a creature strikes the target yeah. [00:50:33] Speaker B: So he reaches past this ten foot by ten foot gem and tries to grab it hamir. But he can't quite grab him past the gem. With a regular failure. [00:50:43] Speaker F: There's only a crit fail effective. He already has me held. [00:50:46] Speaker B: He's disappointed because he really wanted to grab you. [00:50:49] Speaker C: So he hands off, makes he will. [00:50:51] Speaker B: Settle instead for swinging his battle hex. So go ahead and roll your flat check to see if the gem intercepts. [00:50:58] Speaker F: What's the flat check? [00:51:00] Speaker B: Eleven or better and the gem gets it. [00:51:02] Speaker C: Eleven or better, the gem gets it. [00:51:05] Speaker F: 16. [00:51:06] Speaker B: So he swings. [00:51:08] Speaker C: He blocked it. [00:51:09] Speaker B: Now, does the gem just automatically get hit or does it have to succeed on a hit? [00:51:14] Speaker F: Does he have to hit? [00:51:15] Speaker C: See, that's where I thought that the DC came in. [00:51:17] Speaker E: Can I see? [00:51:19] Speaker B: Actually, I think the it says each. [00:51:21] Speaker F: Time it strikes the target, he failed to strike. And it then says on a success, the gym blocks the attack. So the attack first damages the gem. So I think that implies. [00:51:33] Speaker C: Okay, but then it shatters. [00:51:35] Speaker F: Right? But he misses completely so it doesn't hit the gem. [00:51:39] Speaker B: So the gem didn't have to get in the way because he missed tamir to begin with. [00:51:42] Speaker E: Got you. [00:51:44] Speaker B: He's actually going to try another attack against Tamir. Oh, my all right. [00:51:49] Speaker F: 19 with a minus ten. Yeah. [00:51:54] Speaker E: Because of the grapple. [00:51:54] Speaker F: He tried grapple attacks with minus ten. [00:51:57] Speaker B: A 14 to hit with a minus ten. [00:51:59] Speaker F: That was a really good roll, but that's a miss. [00:52:01] Speaker B: He rolled well and is very sad. Alward. [00:52:07] Speaker E: What? [00:52:08] Speaker D: Kill them? [00:52:09] Speaker E: No. I mean, I'm probably going to end up doing that, but I don't want to hit Ricard. I think I'm going to attack well, first, I'm going to calculate threats. It's something that my psychic class allows me to do only when my psyche is unleashed. It's a one action ability. And what happens is my subconscious automatically calculates vectors and forces in my mind while my mind's unleashed, showing me the likely path of incoming attacks to avoid. And I gain a plus two circumstance bonus to AC and reflex saves until the beginning of my next turn. So I'm going to do that first because that's just nice to have. And then I'm going to telekinetically projectile, the dude closest to me. [00:52:53] Speaker B: Okay. [00:52:54] Speaker E: And no words come out. I just move my hand and one of the balls flings out to strike this person, hopefully. Well, yes. 22. [00:53:08] Speaker B: That's a hit. [00:53:09] Speaker E: Yay. [00:53:10] Speaker F: Do you have an update? That's the guy to the south flank. Safir. [00:53:15] Speaker E: He's going to take ten damage noise. [00:53:20] Speaker B: And he is bloodied. He had not been hit before. [00:53:24] Speaker C: Dang. [00:53:24] Speaker E: And that is my turn. [00:53:26] Speaker B: All right. The Ruffian, who was knocked out earlier, continues to sleep. Hey, mirror, it's your turn. [00:53:32] Speaker F: I'm going to attack Ricard with a strike. Do it with a 26. [00:53:39] Speaker B: That's a hit. [00:53:41] Speaker F: Critical hit. [00:53:43] Speaker B: No, he's got armor. [00:53:44] Speaker F: That's eight damage. [00:53:46] Speaker B: He's not looking hot. [00:53:51] Speaker F: I'll attack again. That's not going to hit. I am going to use my last action to aid an attack roll against Ricard. [00:54:05] Speaker B: Gotcha. For flavour's sake. What are you doing to aid? Just kind of like, fainting. Kind of keeping him on his toes. [00:54:13] Speaker F: I'd like to try to pull at him with my esotericism. [00:54:18] Speaker B: Okay. [00:54:19] Speaker F: Along the same lines of when I imbue a weakness. [00:54:22] Speaker B: Got you. [00:54:23] Speaker F: If that's all right. [00:54:24] Speaker B: Yeah, it's now his turn. [00:54:28] Speaker C: No, it's oh, okay. [00:54:30] Speaker B: It is now his turn. So he's gonna lock eyes with Hamir. Hamir, who's, like, preparing to aid for an attack against him. And he just locks eyes with Hamir and he holds out a hand and is like, Give me the helmet. I'm going to need you to make a will save. As he's casting a spell. [00:54:48] Speaker F: Is that command? [00:54:50] Speaker B: No. [00:54:52] Speaker F: Dominate? [00:54:53] Speaker E: No, I hope it's not dominate. That's like a level four spell. [00:54:57] Speaker C: Demoralize. [00:54:58] Speaker F: 19. [00:54:58] Speaker E: He can't he's already demoralized success. [00:55:01] Speaker B: So you were only frightened one because you've succeeded against his attempt to cast fear on you. [00:55:07] Speaker F: This guy needs to he really needs. [00:55:08] Speaker E: To learn how to cast command well. [00:55:11] Speaker F: That command wouldn't work for that. [00:55:13] Speaker E: I mean, it would if the DM allows it. [00:55:15] Speaker F: It's too many words. [00:55:16] Speaker E: Oh, yeah, I guess it's one word for command. [00:55:18] Speaker B: Give it. Give it. [00:55:20] Speaker C: That's still two words. Helmet. [00:55:21] Speaker F: Give what? What am I supposed to give? [00:55:23] Speaker E: Helmet. [00:55:24] Speaker F: Helmet. Okay, I took off my normal helmet. [00:55:28] Speaker B: And then he's going to swing his battle axe. [00:55:31] Speaker C: He has a battle axe. [00:55:32] Speaker E: Stop giving people battle axes. [00:55:33] Speaker F: They all like battle axes. [00:55:35] Speaker B: That's a 20 to hit. [00:55:36] Speaker F: That will hit the me. [00:55:40] Speaker B: The me and the you takes nine damage. [00:55:46] Speaker C: Dang, did you not get above an eleven? [00:55:49] Speaker E: He rolled a knot. He rolled a nine. [00:55:50] Speaker F: Don't worry. I still have more than half my HP. [00:55:53] Speaker B: And near us is in pain. [00:55:57] Speaker A: Is in pain. [00:55:59] Speaker D: One above it's the truth. [00:56:02] Speaker C: One above half hit points. [00:56:04] Speaker D: One above half. Yes. Which equals pain. All right, am I 30ft away from Ricardo? [00:56:13] Speaker B: 20Ft away, yes. [00:56:15] Speaker D: Okay, cool. She telekinetically picks up, I don't know, something heavy. [00:56:23] Speaker E: You can use one of my me. [00:56:25] Speaker F: That other love struck guy's head. [00:56:28] Speaker D: And I'm going to hurl this object at Ricardo. [00:56:33] Speaker B: All right, watch out, guys. She's going to hurl. [00:56:36] Speaker D: I mean, she may she's in a lot of pain. The 14 to hit. [00:56:41] Speaker F: I would use a card if you want. You don't have to kill this guy. [00:56:46] Speaker D: No, I'm going to. I'm mad now. [00:56:49] Speaker C: Watch her get another. [00:56:50] Speaker A: Abby. [00:56:53] Speaker D: Natural 20. [00:56:57] Speaker F: Has the credit card. [00:57:00] Speaker C: I have the fumble. [00:57:02] Speaker B: I think everybody peeked. [00:57:03] Speaker E: That's fine. [00:57:04] Speaker F: All right, let's do that again. [00:57:05] Speaker C: I can't. [00:57:15] Speaker D: Okay, so this crit hit is called wild surge. [00:57:21] Speaker F: Oh, no. [00:57:22] Speaker D: Normal damage. And then normal damage again of a random energy type. Roll a D four. [00:57:31] Speaker F: To determine to. [00:57:33] Speaker D: Determine which one it is. So I rolled a one on the D four. So he's also going to take acid damage. [00:57:40] Speaker E: Nice. [00:57:41] Speaker F: How much? [00:57:42] Speaker D: I don't know. What is normal damage again of a random energy type? [00:57:45] Speaker F: What's your normal damage on that spell? [00:57:47] Speaker D: A d six. [00:57:48] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:57:48] Speaker B: Okay, so, like, you've got your D six plus your spell modifier. You do that in the bludgeoning damage, and then you do that much of acid as well. [00:57:57] Speaker D: Okay, cool. Thank you. [00:57:59] Speaker F: Does it still times two? [00:58:01] Speaker D: No, it's just normal damage. [00:58:03] Speaker F: It said normal. I didn't miss that. [00:58:05] Speaker D: No, wait, hang on. [00:58:06] Speaker C: So which one are you doing this to? [00:58:08] Speaker F: Rickard. John Lupre. [00:58:14] Speaker D: All right, so he takes nine bludgeoning. [00:58:17] Speaker E: Nice. [00:58:18] Speaker D: And then eight acid. [00:58:20] Speaker E: Dang, that's some good damage because she's angry. [00:58:24] Speaker B: One of the ball bearings floating around alward, you just, like, flick that with the end of your tentacle pushing through the pain from the cuts in the tentacle, and the ball bearing just goes sailing through the air, smacks him straight in the forehead like David and Goliath. And then it just begins to sizzle on his forehead as he just collapses to the ground. And there's a little bit of smoke. Right. [00:58:47] Speaker C: You opened his third eye in his time of weakness. [00:58:51] Speaker F: He did. [00:58:52] Speaker D: He gone. [00:58:54] Speaker F: It's a good thing we got rid of the one guy who would know anything. [00:58:58] Speaker B: And Neros, you have one action remaining. [00:59:02] Speaker D: I would like to move north. Hang on. Northeast. [00:59:08] Speaker B: So getting in the same line with Hamir and Zafir right there. [00:59:11] Speaker D: I want to be there. [00:59:13] Speaker A: All right, UVair, since Uber is behind everyone, everyone's just going to suddenly see this flash and this crash of thunder as electric arc just flashes out the remaining two. [00:59:29] Speaker D: That's such a good spell. [00:59:30] Speaker F: It is if you can always messes up my hair. [00:59:33] Speaker A: Basic reflex. [00:59:34] Speaker E: 18 things that stand up on end. [00:59:36] Speaker B: Two regular successes. [00:59:38] Speaker A: Okay, so they just take half. Eight damage. So half is four. I rolled Max. [00:59:46] Speaker F: They both succeeded. [00:59:47] Speaker A: Yeah, regular successes. [00:59:48] Speaker E: Solid on rolling Max, though. [00:59:52] Speaker C: I'm so proud of you. [00:59:53] Speaker D: It sucks that they succeeded, though. [00:59:55] Speaker E: Yeah, they've been doing that a lot lately. We need to beat some sense. [00:59:59] Speaker D: Super rude. [00:59:59] Speaker A: Oh, I'm going to I've been trying. [01:00:01] Speaker E: Don't pass your saves. [01:00:04] Speaker B: All right, Uber, you've got one action left. [01:00:08] Speaker A: Yeah, he's just going to stand there. Actually, he's going to stand in front of the one that's downed that we might interrogate later. [01:00:18] Speaker B: Just like yep, right there. Okay. All right, Zavir. [01:00:24] Speaker C: Who is the one that last hit? Me. The one downthrow north. [01:00:29] Speaker B: Down the north did not attempt to hit you. [01:00:31] Speaker F: Okay. [01:00:31] Speaker A: Do the scratchy scratchy clothing. [01:00:33] Speaker F: Wrong. [01:00:33] Speaker C: I am going to do the scratchy scratchy clothing on the down sky. [01:00:36] Speaker F: You should do it successfully. [01:00:38] Speaker E: You might kill him. [01:00:39] Speaker B: All right. Scratchy scratchy claw. [01:00:40] Speaker C: I don't think he cares. I'm going to successfully scratchy scratchy claw on the DownSky. [01:00:45] Speaker E: I'm the only one who cares. [01:00:47] Speaker C: That's probably not going to work. [01:00:49] Speaker B: But 15, that's not going to work. [01:00:52] Speaker F: Dang, I feel so bad for you. [01:00:55] Speaker E: You could try to punch him. [01:00:56] Speaker C: Is that a single action? Yeah, I'm going to try to punch him. Do I have any? [01:01:00] Speaker E: You are automatically trained so you get your normal bonuses plus your strength modifier. [01:01:04] Speaker B: Or decks, and then it'll be a minus four since it's your second attack this turn. [01:01:09] Speaker C: Yeah, that's what I was worried about. [01:01:11] Speaker B: Normally it's a minus five, but since fists are agile, it's only a minus four. [01:01:15] Speaker C: No, didn't hit. [01:01:17] Speaker E: What was it? [01:01:18] Speaker C: It was yet again another four. [01:01:19] Speaker E: Oh, my goodness. [01:01:20] Speaker A: Golly, man. [01:01:21] Speaker E: I thought I needed new dice. [01:01:23] Speaker C: Maybe I'll switch dice one of these days. [01:01:26] Speaker E: You're too terrified of what happened last session. [01:01:28] Speaker C: I don't even know what happened last session. [01:01:32] Speaker B: All right, it is now that downTh bandit's turnth bandit. [01:01:37] Speaker E: We have douth and up. [01:01:38] Speaker B: He's going to strike. [01:01:43] Speaker F: Wait, who? [01:01:45] Speaker E: Me? [01:01:45] Speaker B: He's striking hamir. [01:01:47] Speaker F: Oh, me? [01:01:48] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:01:49] Speaker F: It's not 26 to hit. What? 26? [01:01:54] Speaker B: 26. [01:01:55] Speaker F: That's a hit. And it doesn't hit the gem. [01:02:00] Speaker E: That gem is useful when it's useful. [01:02:02] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:02:03] Speaker B: And he gets six damage. [01:02:04] Speaker C: Wow. [01:02:05] Speaker E: What is with this guy? [01:02:06] Speaker B: I don't know. [01:02:07] Speaker E: He's very consistent. [01:02:09] Speaker B: He's swinging again. He's banking on that consistency. An eight to hit. [01:02:15] Speaker F: No fail. [01:02:16] Speaker B: Actually, sad day for him. He's going to step away without outside of tentacle range. [01:02:25] Speaker F: I only have nine hit points left. I'm almost dead, guys, by the way. [01:02:30] Speaker D: Wait, what? [01:02:30] Speaker F: I have nine hit points now. [01:02:33] Speaker C: Oh, my gosh. [01:02:34] Speaker E: He's fine. [01:02:35] Speaker D: No, he's not. [01:02:37] Speaker B: So the guy who's down and still bleeding from the grim tundrils is now at dying three and is still bleeding. [01:02:43] Speaker E: When he takes bleed, does he not go up a dying? [01:02:45] Speaker B: He is. [01:02:46] Speaker F: He is. [01:02:46] Speaker B: Oh, I'm not even rolling his death saving check. [01:02:48] Speaker F: Oh, yeah, you also need to do that. [01:02:50] Speaker E: I was very confused. [01:02:52] Speaker B: See, dad, he just died. I was like, oh, no, he fine. Then I rolled in that one. [01:03:00] Speaker C: You signed up to be the GM. I mean, come on, man. [01:03:02] Speaker F: It's true. It's your fault. [01:03:05] Speaker B: I will take out my impotent rage using this ruffian who will swing at sam's character hamir. [01:03:12] Speaker F: Oh, stop it. [01:03:15] Speaker B: With a nine to hit. [01:03:17] Speaker F: Really, stop. It embarrassing. [01:03:19] Speaker B: You'll take a second swing. [01:03:22] Speaker F: Of course that's going to hit. [01:03:24] Speaker E: Please tell me it's another nine with a two. [01:03:28] Speaker D: That'll work. [01:03:29] Speaker F: Dillamus. [01:03:30] Speaker B: And he begins to run away. [01:03:32] Speaker F: Coward. That's okay. [01:03:35] Speaker D: So outside of tentacle range. [01:03:36] Speaker E: So when Alward's turn starts, all of the dust and balls sort of fall down around him immediately. And he looks kind of dazed and confused. [01:03:46] Speaker B: Dazed and confused. [01:03:54] Speaker E: I'm going to move 30ft north north. [01:03:59] Speaker F: By northwest to the north. [01:04:00] Speaker A: No, 30ft up the ups. [01:04:02] Speaker E: My bad. 30ft up. And then I'm going to try and telekinetic projectile. That man. That man running away. I'm going to use my hero point for that nat one that I just got, and that's a lot better. [01:04:21] Speaker A: Keep the economy going. [01:04:24] Speaker E: 24. [01:04:25] Speaker B: That's a hit. [01:04:26] Speaker C: A critical hit. [01:04:28] Speaker B: Unfortunately, not. [01:04:32] Speaker E: Eight damage. [01:04:34] Speaker B: He's not looking good. He just went right past bloodied to not looking good. [01:04:40] Speaker C: I feel like bloodied is a little worse than not looking good. [01:04:43] Speaker B: And that is, shall we say he is looking bad. [01:04:47] Speaker C: See, that's worse. [01:04:48] Speaker F: Quit looking so bad. [01:04:50] Speaker B: All right, makeover came here. [01:04:52] Speaker F: I'm going to run to 30ft closer to that guy. [01:04:57] Speaker B: 30Ft? [01:04:57] Speaker F: Yes. [01:04:58] Speaker B: Right next to him. [01:04:59] Speaker F: I have 30ft movement, and then I'm going to attempt to trip him. [01:05:03] Speaker B: All right. [01:05:06] Speaker F: With a 16. [01:05:09] Speaker B: It's not a success. He jumps over the chain mid run. He's making a break for it. [01:05:14] Speaker F: How does a 16 to hit him? [01:05:16] Speaker B: That's a miss. [01:05:18] Speaker C: Wow, he's got high turn. [01:05:20] Speaker F: I thought there he was 16 or low. [01:05:23] Speaker B: He's getting away. [01:05:24] Speaker F: No, he's not. [01:05:25] Speaker B: Neros, which one should I go after? [01:05:28] Speaker F: The one that's running away. [01:05:30] Speaker D: The one to the north? [01:05:31] Speaker F: Yeah. [01:05:32] Speaker D: All right. [01:05:32] Speaker F: Just finish him off. [01:05:33] Speaker D: What ups up. Sorry, my bad. The one to the up. [01:05:38] Speaker F: Did we really mention that we're in the middle of this coliseum like arena? Does that really I was in the yeah. Okay. [01:05:45] Speaker B: Welcome to the arena. [01:05:47] Speaker D: Get out of here. [01:05:48] Speaker E: Why is that so spot on? [01:05:53] Speaker D: I'm pretty sure I'm within 30ft of. [01:05:54] Speaker E: That guy were you the voice actor of that? [01:05:57] Speaker A: I would say you were within 30ft. [01:05:59] Speaker F: I think I believe in you, Abby. [01:06:01] Speaker E: You got this, Abby. [01:06:04] Speaker D: Kill him. [01:06:04] Speaker E: Caress his face. [01:06:05] Speaker D: Hey, Sven, do you want to confirm what I rolled over here? [01:06:09] Speaker A: Can confirm. [01:06:10] Speaker D: What does that say? [01:06:11] Speaker C: That is a natural 20. [01:06:13] Speaker E: Again, Abby. You are always getting the critical hit. [01:06:18] Speaker D: Critical with this die. This die loves me. This is with phase bolt, by the way. [01:06:24] Speaker B: Got you. [01:06:27] Speaker D: This is really weird. [01:06:29] Speaker F: It doesn't as it should. [01:06:31] Speaker E: What's it say? [01:06:32] Speaker D: Olfactory overload. [01:06:35] Speaker E: And this is for spell or bomb. [01:06:36] Speaker D: For spell or bomb. [01:06:38] Speaker E: What's it say? [01:06:39] Speaker D: The target loses its sense of smell and any sensibility or other olfactory senses. [01:06:47] Speaker E: Your phase bolt just hit him in the nose, through his head, and hit his nasal cavity. [01:06:55] Speaker D: Severed his can I make an argument to draw it? [01:06:59] Speaker F: No double damage. [01:07:00] Speaker C: Still it's still really so your phase. [01:07:03] Speaker E: Bolt phased right before hitting his head and then reentered right in his nasal cavity. [01:07:11] Speaker D: Twelve points of damage with that. [01:07:13] Speaker B: So this guy's running away. Alward tries to stop him. Hamir tries to trip him, tries to hit him. He's just making a beeline for the exit. He glances over his shoulder to see if anybody's following him. And a bolt phases back into existence inside of his nose, and he just falls to the ground. Little trickle of blood coming out of his nose. And he goes I can't smell the strawberries. [01:07:38] Speaker C: Now I'm sad because I'm not in the game. [01:07:42] Speaker B: As he dies, that makes me sad. [01:07:46] Speaker C: We need a content warning for this episode. [01:07:49] Speaker E: Wait, so do all phase bolts smell like strawberries? [01:07:54] Speaker B: That's why he was expecting to smell strawberries. [01:07:56] Speaker F: He's been hit by a couple of. [01:07:59] Speaker B: You'Ve got one action left. [01:08:03] Speaker D: Stand here. [01:08:05] Speaker C: Stand there and watch him bleed. Oh, it's my turn. [01:08:10] Speaker F: All right, Uber, you ain't getting out of here. [01:08:13] Speaker B: Most of the party is between him and the exit. [01:08:16] Speaker E: He could go deeper in. [01:08:18] Speaker F: He could go down to the lab. [01:08:19] Speaker C: Goes into the tunnel, gets eaten or destroyed by that little gremlin. [01:08:24] Speaker B: The Gremlin standing in the doorway, just like over here. [01:08:27] Speaker D: Over here. [01:08:29] Speaker E: Where is the gremlin? [01:08:31] Speaker D: Gremlin would bury that man. [01:08:32] Speaker B: He's just in the doorway. [01:08:35] Speaker E: He wants somebody to bury alive his favorite pastime. [01:08:42] Speaker A: Uber is going to once again, since I'm assuming everybody's now watching this other dude running away, you're going to once again see this light shine from one hand as again, Uber reaches out, as if he's caressing this guy's cheek. And again. Cast, chill, touch. [01:08:58] Speaker E: Caressing is a free action. [01:09:01] Speaker F: That's one action. To let him do it from 30ft away quit succeeding. [01:09:05] Speaker B: I can't help it. Can't help myself. [01:09:08] Speaker A: So he takes half damage. So five halved. [01:09:16] Speaker F: All right, I rolled main three casters are pretty bomb. [01:09:19] Speaker A: Bomb two wouldn't it? Because you round? [01:09:22] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:09:23] Speaker A: I mean, I'd love for it to. [01:09:24] Speaker B: Be three, but it was a fear. [01:09:25] Speaker C: Is it a. Single action to pull out a weapon? [01:09:27] Speaker E: Yes, it's a free action to drop a weapon. [01:09:32] Speaker C: That doesn't help. Then I will draw my rapier. And I really like charging these guys. [01:09:44] Speaker A: Just do it. [01:09:45] Speaker C: I'm just going to charge him. [01:09:47] Speaker F: You do something good here. [01:09:48] Speaker C: I'm not very far away, but I'm. [01:09:50] Speaker F: Going to I believe in you. [01:09:54] Speaker E: I can't you have a repair? [01:09:57] Speaker C: I don't have enough actions because I. [01:10:00] Speaker E: Have to move towards him and repair out. [01:10:05] Speaker B: That's why he backed up. He didn't want to get can you. [01:10:08] Speaker C: Pass that to Jordy? [01:10:09] Speaker E: Is that an at one? [01:10:10] Speaker C: Yeah, that was an at one this. [01:10:11] Speaker E: Side of the table. [01:10:12] Speaker F: Has everyone used all their hero points in this fight? [01:10:15] Speaker C: I'm going to turn my box around. [01:10:18] Speaker F: To where we just want to succeed. It's not like this is a dire fight that we have to spend our hero points. [01:10:24] Speaker A: We just hit. [01:10:25] Speaker E: We like the feeling. [01:10:26] Speaker C: Oh, that helps. Okay, so that is a 23 to hit. [01:10:31] Speaker F: Kill him. This guy's been touched so much. [01:10:34] Speaker C: I am going to kill him. [01:10:35] Speaker F: I'm just going to has he been hurt at all? [01:10:37] Speaker C: Here we go. [01:10:38] Speaker B: He's on his last legs. [01:10:40] Speaker C: Okay, that is seven damage. [01:10:44] Speaker D: Nice. [01:10:45] Speaker C: Just going to charge with straight rapiers. Straight as, pointed as face. [01:10:50] Speaker F: Straight as a rapier. [01:10:51] Speaker E: But rapiers are famously known for being bendy. [01:10:54] Speaker C: Well, I don't know. What am I going to do? Whack him? No, they're not. [01:10:59] Speaker F: That's a fencing weapon. [01:11:02] Speaker B: And you plunge him through. [01:11:04] Speaker E: They're very bad. [01:11:05] Speaker B: And he only had four HP left. [01:11:07] Speaker C: Oh, thank goodness I've done something. [01:11:09] Speaker B: And you land the final blow for the encounter. [01:11:12] Speaker F: Not a rapier. [01:11:14] Speaker C: I should use this more often. [01:11:18] Speaker B: And as he falls to the ground, two things happen. Number one, you all reach level three. Yeah. Number two, you hear a voice. Excellent. Jolly good show, I say, showing them what for. And that's where we'll end this episode. [01:11:39] Speaker F: Wait, what? Wait, who said that? [01:11:41] Speaker B: A voice? As is customary, since you have all reached a new level. OOH. Everyone gets a hero point. [01:11:50] Speaker E: Everybody gets a hero point. [01:11:51] Speaker A: That's good, because everybody used one. [01:11:53] Speaker D: Thank goodness. [01:11:55] Speaker B: All right, well, we're going to go ahead and sign off while these crazy folks go ahead and get their characters up to level three. And we will see you all in the next episode. [01:12:40] Speaker D: No. [01:12:41] Speaker C: All right. We know her deity. [01:12:44] Speaker D: She doesn't have it. [01:12:45] Speaker B: Oh, my goodness.
