[00:00:05] Speaker A: You are listening to an atomic broadcasting production. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the feature presentation. And remember, do your part. Such as, like comment rate. And don't forget to tell a friend to tune in for an atomic time. [00:00:32] Speaker B: Now, where do we leave off? Ah, yes. With the city of Joel under attack by aerds and insurgents, the party raced to the Jolburg to stop them. There they came, face to face with an imposing armored figure wearing a very familiar helmet. [00:01:03] Speaker C: Imagine having a pathfinder character named Jimmy looks at Sam. We always have to have. Yeah, he would be the one. [00:01:12] Speaker D: Probably. [00:01:12] Speaker E: He did have a character. He did have a character named Jimmy Anaki. [00:01:15] Speaker D: Jimmy Anaki thought it was Johnny. [00:01:18] Speaker E: Oh, it is Johnny. [00:01:20] Speaker D: You guys perceived my face. [00:01:23] Speaker E: Mandela effect. [00:01:24] Speaker B: I played a half orc native. It's called Jim. [00:01:28] Speaker C: Well, did he have a nickname? [00:01:30] Speaker B: Well, Jim was his Mandela. [00:01:32] Speaker F: What was his real name? [00:01:34] Speaker C: Well, I guess Jimmy. Would Jimmy be a nickname? [00:01:36] Speaker B: It's somewhere in my notes. He had a name in orcish, but his mentor couldn't pronounce it, so we called him Jim. [00:01:45] Speaker E: I mean, you are the gym. [00:01:48] Speaker C: I am the all purpose gymnasium. [00:01:52] Speaker F: Jordy. [00:01:53] Speaker C: The all purpose gymnasium. [00:01:55] Speaker F: Man. [00:01:57] Speaker B: Sports. [00:02:00] Speaker A: You are sportsman. You have all the sports. Ball. [00:02:03] Speaker F: Look at him. He's doing a double backflip. [00:02:06] Speaker E: It's so quiet. [00:02:08] Speaker C: It's really weird. I get the all purpose room whenever you see a gymnasium, and then I see all purpose paper, and for some reason I associate the two Gymnasium paper. I don't know why. [00:02:20] Speaker D: Is it? Maybe because they both use the words all purpose? Yeah, but like, what about all purpose flour? [00:02:27] Speaker B: That's what I was thinking. [00:02:28] Speaker C: Like I said, there are so many other things. [00:02:30] Speaker F: I like to use my all purpose paper as a funnel for my all purpose flour. [00:02:34] Speaker E: Wow. [00:02:34] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:02:35] Speaker E: Nice. [00:02:36] Speaker A: I want to know what makes it all purpose. [00:02:37] Speaker F: I mean, the paper or the flower? [00:02:39] Speaker A: What. What makes. What separates all purpose paper from paper? Ooh, it's not spice. [00:02:45] Speaker E: I know, Jenkins. [00:02:47] Speaker F: It's because it's. You can use it for different mediums and it's not going to be as affected as normal paper. So if you take like a normal ream of like printing paper and you use like watercolor on it or markers or anything, it's all gonna have a different effect on that paper. Whereas more like all purpose paper can be used like different mediums. That's my presumption. [00:03:06] Speaker A: And you use it for cooking. [00:03:08] Speaker E: That's your presumption. [00:03:09] Speaker D: You said all of that? [00:03:10] Speaker E: I don't actually know. [00:03:11] Speaker D: You said it like it was all factual. And then at the end you said that's my, that's my presumption. [00:03:16] Speaker F: Because I'm like 80% sure that's the case, but I know like there's gonna be somebody out there who's gonna like. [00:03:22] Speaker E: Listen, have the power of Google, yell. [00:03:25] Speaker F: At me in our discord or something and be like, actually all purpose is. [00:03:31] Speaker C: Like jack of all trades, master of none. So it's not the greatest, but you can use it for a lot of things. [00:03:35] Speaker A: Yeah, a jack of all trades and a master of none is still always better than a master of one. That is the full quote. [00:03:41] Speaker B: Precisely. [00:03:42] Speaker E: All purpose paper, also known as multi purpose paper, is a versatile type of paper designed to be compatible with various printing and copying machines, including inkjet and laser printers, copiers and fax machines. [00:03:54] Speaker D: Dab. [00:03:54] Speaker F: So I was right, Just wrong thing. [00:03:58] Speaker E: I think I was right, but I was wrong? [00:04:00] Speaker C: Well, yes, but no, I think I messed up on the verbiage. I think it's actually multi purpose. [00:04:05] Speaker F: It's the same. [00:04:06] Speaker E: No, no, no. [00:04:06] Speaker C: I think the rooms are always called multipurpose room, not all purpose room. [00:04:10] Speaker E: Multipurpose paper is like for fancy offices, fancy. It says best use cases. Printing client facing documents for presentation matters such as proposals or flyers. Producing color prints, whether they are charts, brochures, or marketing materials. Printing detailed images or graphics where color accuracy and sharpness are key. [00:04:30] Speaker C: This is so interesting there. [00:04:32] Speaker E: It's also thicker than general, like copy paper. [00:04:36] Speaker F: Just get resume paper. [00:04:37] Speaker C: Sound like you said coffee paper. [00:04:40] Speaker E: I mean, I do have coffee. [00:04:41] Speaker A: You know what I like and I. [00:04:42] Speaker E: Can spill it on my paper. [00:04:43] Speaker A: You know what I like to do with paper? [00:04:47] Speaker D: Use it as a funnel for your flower. [00:04:49] Speaker A: No, that's Jenkins laminated. I enjoy laminating. [00:04:55] Speaker E: I also enjoy laminating. [00:04:56] Speaker D: Do you have lamination? What my work does on the paper? Or is it just you took a piece of paper and you laminated it? [00:05:05] Speaker A: The stuff on it. [00:05:07] Speaker E: I love laminating. [00:05:08] Speaker D: I have to clarify with you sometimes. [00:05:11] Speaker C: To be fair, if you laminate a white sheet of paper, you can reuse it as like whiteboard. [00:05:15] Speaker A: You don't. [00:05:16] Speaker E: You could just. You could just. [00:05:17] Speaker F: Okay. Can I. I want to use your. You have a laminator at work? [00:05:21] Speaker A: I do. [00:05:22] Speaker F: Using work. [00:05:24] Speaker A: What I use. [00:05:25] Speaker E: We use work laminators for work. [00:05:27] Speaker F: Okay, that's fine. [00:05:28] Speaker A: So I printed off the entire instruction manual for our. One of our CNC machines and I wanted to laminate it because sometimes I take it out with me to the floor and I didn't want it to get greasy. So 200 pages of lamination. I did it kind of As I was working. And then I feed a sheet in because it's not a roll, it's a single sheet. So I just. It was relaxing. It's very relaxing. You just open the lamination, you put in the paper, and then you close it. You make sure everything's centered. And then you put it in the little cardboard thing and then you take it over and it has a little rollers and it's heated up and you just kind of feed it in. You just watch it for a moment, then you take it out and you just take that one out, put it over, let it cool, and then you do it all again. It's really relaxing. [00:06:13] Speaker F: Mean to Sven, but did anybody just BLEEP out for a second? [00:06:17] Speaker C: I was thinking of grilled cheeses. [00:06:18] Speaker D: I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty sure. [00:06:19] Speaker E: Don't get him started on grilled cheeses. He will be here all night. [00:06:23] Speaker C: When he gives instructions. That just goes back to my happy place. [00:06:28] Speaker F: It's grilled cheese. [00:06:29] Speaker D: You cut it in half. [00:06:30] Speaker E: Abby understands you take a lot of butter. [00:06:32] Speaker B: A lot of butter. [00:06:34] Speaker E: Laminating. Yes, I understand. Because where I work, things get either wet or gross easily. And if you laminate stuff, it keeps it exactly safe and sound for future use. [00:06:48] Speaker A: They also have different thicknesses of laminations. [00:06:50] Speaker E: Yes. [00:06:51] Speaker C: Anyway, if anyone was listening and hoping for just an intense start to an. [00:06:56] Speaker B: Episode, just skip ahead to this timestamp. [00:07:01] Speaker D: Which is right now, timestamp below. [00:07:04] Speaker B: You find yourselves now in the plaza outside of the Joel Courthouse. It is an opulent, spacious area designed to impress those who are being compelled to wait to speak with the judge, with flagstone pathways and gardens on the sides. But it is currently being repurposed into sort of a tribunal, as we established at the end of last episode. Aerid is compelling obedience from all of the noblemen as they're all, like, kneeling in a row with executioners on either side with their axes. Some of these noblemen have already had their heads removed from their bodies. Eirid is now standing on a ledge where all of this is happening, standing up against, like, this wrought iron fence, looking down at you. And he says, finally, the heroes have arrived. [00:07:58] Speaker A: Who's behind him? [00:08:00] Speaker B: Those would be. There's that front row. There is the nobleman we were talking about. And then there's a. Like, an aridson with a big axe on either end, ready to execute if commanded. [00:08:11] Speaker D: Oh, so the rest of, like, the family isn't here. [00:08:14] Speaker E: Is it raining? [00:08:15] Speaker C: I think it's raining. [00:08:17] Speaker B: As we had established, the storm is beginning to break. As you are crossing the bridge into the Jo'. Burg. So it's now it's starting to rain and storm on you. [00:08:24] Speaker E: You're right. [00:08:24] Speaker C: Are these gallows? [00:08:26] Speaker B: Yeah, there's the stocks over here on the left with a gallows front and center. [00:08:31] Speaker F: They got that built quick. [00:08:32] Speaker C: Are they using any of them? [00:08:34] Speaker B: No, actually they've just got them lined up on the stonework just to the north of the gallows. [00:08:39] Speaker C: Oh, Beric, how dare they not use the things for their intended purpose. [00:08:42] Speaker B: So just to orient you guys real quick on this map, because I feel like it might become relevant. So the party is standing on this thoroughfare that runs through the Joulburg. And on the. On either side, the path goes up about 10ft and is decorated with a wrought iron fence. On the left side, there's a larger. More of. Like a. More of just a practical style of staircase that leads up to this ledge with another path leading off to the southwest. And that's where Arid and the noblemen and everybody are on the south of them. So on the southwest side of the map for us is where that raised platform with the stocks and the gallows is. On the northwest corner of the map is a watchtower that. It's a very simple wooden structure. You just go up one level and there's a platform. So you can see over the walls of the Joulburg out into the rest of the city on the right side of the map. So on the east side is like a narrow little strip of garden that just looks really nice with a couple decorative stairways leading up to the other side of this 10 foot raise with the wrought iron fences. And over there is both the jailhouse and the courthouse. And then on the far side of the whole map, all the way on the north side, there's a large stone bridge that goes across this thoroughfare and can be used to cross over from one raised side to the other without going down the stairs. [00:10:12] Speaker D: Val's gonna kind of start taking us some steps forward a little bit, kind of casually and maybe kind of also with a hand, like asking the others to maybe spread out a little bit, because I'd hate for us all to get blasted right away. And she looks up at him standing there looking at us. It's free. Then you cheated death. [00:10:39] Speaker B: It is. One would have expected a hero of old to have succumbed to death, but not I. And he slams the butt of his axe on the cobblestone next to him. I have conquered death as I will conquer the rest of this kingdom. [00:10:55] Speaker D: You have an interesting definition of the word hero. [00:10:59] Speaker B: What word would you give to the man who single handedly saved the world from the horror of Fafnir? [00:11:07] Speaker D: From what I have come to understand of the situation as perhaps liar or perhaps mad or tyrant of some sort. [00:11:17] Speaker B: Silence. You know not of what you speak. [00:11:21] Speaker D: I. I am a servant of the mother at graves, the keeper of souls. I think I know a thing or two. You cheat death, you cheat her. You are unnatural, against the way of order. Yourself should be rotting in some plane of existence, not our own. [00:11:41] Speaker B: Sam. Yes, as Val says that she just feels like this righteous sense of indignation broiling in her gain 10 temporary HP. [00:11:54] Speaker A: Okay, you hear this bang as what you come to recognize as U's staff slamming against the ground. Indeed. Oh, King Ar. It is time for silence. [00:12:17] Speaker B: Aid turns to look at you and then kind of cocks his head a little bit. Oh, how interesting. I wasn't expecting another victim of his machinations to show up here. What did he promise you? Fame? Fortune? You'll get it in the end, but it won't be the way you wanted. [00:12:42] Speaker D: What? [00:12:43] Speaker B: Whoa. [00:12:43] Speaker D: What? [00:12:46] Speaker F: Just go with it. What? [00:12:48] Speaker A: There's everything that I was about to say just went out of my head. [00:12:51] Speaker E: What? [00:12:55] Speaker F: But it. [00:12:58] Speaker A: You guys knew about the runes that he got? [00:13:02] Speaker E: Uber doesn't. [00:13:03] Speaker D: What runes? [00:13:05] Speaker F: You have runes? [00:13:09] Speaker D: Eris Runes. [00:13:10] Speaker A: Wait, it was Einar and Zafir that learned about that? [00:13:13] Speaker D: Mm. [00:13:15] Speaker A: Oh, no. [00:13:16] Speaker F: Wait. What did I learn? [00:13:19] Speaker C: I didn't write it down. So it's gone. [00:13:22] Speaker A: We learned that King Arid actually went to go kill another Lenore, but he actually came back. And the rumor. The rumor or the story was he came back covered in runes like Uvaire. [00:13:38] Speaker C: Completely forgot about that. [00:13:40] Speaker F: Right? [00:13:42] Speaker A: That being said. What? Jordy. [00:13:46] Speaker D: A victim of his. What? He said a victim of his machinations. [00:13:51] Speaker F: All right, so I have a new cracked theory. [00:13:55] Speaker A: At those words. Anyone looking at, uh, would see a flash of shock, confusion, frustration, and then all goes behind a mask. As he says, I don't know what you mean or what machinations you propose. I accept it. What I do know is that your words are as empty as the shell that stands before us. [00:14:30] Speaker B: You may think my words and empty, but I will show you the weight of them as I cleft your skull on my axe. [00:14:39] Speaker A: So u is going to use the subtle or in this system conceal spell, which conceals the somatic. So the hand. Any hand gestures, and the verbal aspects of spellcasting. Essentially, he is using pure concentration and knowledge of magic to cast it without any of those. And it has the effect of they don't have a chance to react to it. I cast elemental breath. [00:15:09] Speaker F: Are you a dargan? [00:15:10] Speaker B: And what does elemental breath do? [00:15:11] Speaker A: You open a miniature portal to an elemental plane within your mouth, then exhale a powerful explosion of the plane's element. I roll a D6 to determine the element. [00:15:24] Speaker B: Okay, so I'll go ahead and say let's roll for initiative now. But we'll go ahead and just put Uwe at the top of initiative as he's using subtle spell. [00:15:33] Speaker D: What's the purposes of subtle spell in this situation? [00:15:36] Speaker A: We already know that we've faced mage. [00:15:39] Speaker D: Killers, so in case he has, like, a reaction or something. Okay, cool. Okay. Can I use my righteous indignation to roll with religion? [00:15:47] Speaker B: Yes. [00:15:48] Speaker D: Okay. [00:15:48] Speaker F: Jordi, can I forego my initiative and use time magic the way that. [00:15:53] Speaker E: Cuz I was test rolling with these dice and they were rolling the best, and I just rolled bad. [00:15:59] Speaker B: All right. Alward 35 neros 17. [00:16:05] Speaker F: Oh, you rolled like a two. [00:16:07] Speaker E: I rolled a two, baby. That's why I said I'm not using those dice. [00:16:12] Speaker F: Wait. Hey, you like being last. [00:16:13] Speaker E: I do like being last. I don't like being that far last. [00:16:16] Speaker F: That's fair. [00:16:17] Speaker D: Valley 34. [00:16:20] Speaker F: Oh, I do break ties. [00:16:21] Speaker D: We're not tied. [00:16:23] Speaker F: I know. I'm just saying. Zafir28. [00:16:27] Speaker B: And then we will just set Uvair's initiative as going first since he's kicking things off. [00:16:32] Speaker A: I didn't read that. [00:16:34] Speaker B: I was wondering what I'm reading. [00:16:36] Speaker F: I did Sven mess everything up? [00:16:40] Speaker D: Wait, what happened? [00:16:41] Speaker B: Are you wanting to not use conceal and roll initiative? [00:16:44] Speaker F: Okay, I was wondering, can you please. [00:16:47] Speaker B: So you can cast the spell and roll a D6 and randomly choose the element or spend an extra action and pick the element. [00:16:54] Speaker F: Oh. [00:16:57] Speaker E: That'S such a cool. This is why we read the entire spell. [00:17:00] Speaker A: It's a new spell. [00:17:01] Speaker D: Okay. All the way to the bottom. [00:17:03] Speaker E: All the way to the bottom. [00:17:04] Speaker D: Do not pull a kapa de casa. Read the bottom. [00:17:07] Speaker F: Do not do a what? [00:17:08] Speaker E: Don't pull a kapa de casa. [00:17:09] Speaker D: De casa. You gotta read the bottom. [00:17:12] Speaker A: I haven't played a spellcaster. [00:17:15] Speaker D: Me a break. [00:17:16] Speaker A: I haven't been here. [00:17:17] Speaker C: Oh, sorry. I was trying to figure out what kapaza meant, and I found ponchos. [00:17:21] Speaker E: So kapa. [00:17:23] Speaker D: It's a last name. [00:17:24] Speaker E: It's a last name of a player on the glass cannon podcast, and he notoriously does not read the entire spell all the way to the bottom. And then he'll be like, oh, wait, I am last. [00:17:34] Speaker A: I rolled an AT1. [00:17:36] Speaker B: Okay, so screw that dice. U is not starting us off as he rolled a NAT one. [00:17:42] Speaker E: Oh, are you after me? [00:17:43] Speaker F: Yes. [00:17:44] Speaker E: Nice. [00:17:46] Speaker B: What is your total, sweetie? [00:17:47] Speaker A: 18. [00:17:48] Speaker E: Okay, so yeah, I'm still last. [00:17:51] Speaker D: Hold on, hold on. [00:17:52] Speaker F: Time, time, time, time. Are you still going to do the thing? [00:17:56] Speaker A: Oh, 100% I'm doing this thing. [00:17:59] Speaker F: So that's what kicked us off into the Initiative. [00:18:02] Speaker B: So since Uber is no longer doing it as a concealed spell, then he's not going to be getting the drop and getting that automatic top of the Initiative. [00:18:11] Speaker F: Got it. [00:18:11] Speaker B: So then you guys, you guys see just as much as Aid sees that he's starting to cast a spell. If you choose to delay and let him go first, that's your choice. But you do have the opportunity to jump into action first. [00:18:22] Speaker D: Also, didn't you just do time stuff so you could have seen in the fight already start? [00:18:26] Speaker A: Well, yeah, and you would see technically what I was going to do. And you would like it. [00:18:31] Speaker F: Yeah, and I would like it. [00:18:33] Speaker B: You would like. [00:18:34] Speaker F: Don't tell me how I feel. [00:18:36] Speaker D: You will like it. [00:18:37] Speaker B: Speaking of feeling alward, how do you feel about starting this combat off? End of book 2 Fighting High King Aerid. [00:18:45] Speaker F: Not good. I thought I had a whole turn to plan. [00:18:48] Speaker D: I Correction, it's Mad King Aerid. [00:18:51] Speaker B: I prefer to identify as High King Arid. [00:18:54] Speaker E: Arid is High all the time. [00:18:56] Speaker F: So seeing Uvair's. [00:18:59] Speaker E: He's just inhaling. [00:19:00] Speaker F: He's just inhaling. Seeing that and have seen what it's going to do. The first thing I am going to do is cast hypercognition. So my body, my crystal moats start glowing, my eyes start glowing, and I get six recall knowledge checks. [00:19:22] Speaker B: What do you want to know? [00:19:23] Speaker E: Wow. [00:19:24] Speaker F: Yeah. Let's give two to the executioners. Actually let's give one to the since they look to be the same. [00:19:31] Speaker B: Okay. [00:19:33] Speaker F: What'S your society bonus, master 23. [00:19:39] Speaker B: You have a plus 23 bonus? [00:19:41] Speaker F: Yes, I am a master. [00:19:44] Speaker B: Ah, it wasn't a NAT one. It was not quite a crit though. [00:19:51] Speaker F: But you roll like a three. [00:19:53] Speaker D: Wouldn't you like to know? [00:19:54] Speaker B: Okay, so these are level six executioners. Oh, what would you like to know about them? [00:20:01] Speaker F: What they want on their gravestones, I guess. Dang, they are really low level. Weakest saves. [00:20:08] Speaker B: Weakest save is reflex. [00:20:10] Speaker F: Okay, I guess let's give the rest to Aaron. Unless you guys want to know more about these executioners. [00:20:17] Speaker E: Good. [00:20:18] Speaker F: So five to Arid. [00:20:20] Speaker B: Okay, I'm gonna roll those digital. [00:20:22] Speaker C: Hey, what's his first name? [00:20:24] Speaker B: His first name is Arid. [00:20:25] Speaker F: Last name Aridson. [00:20:27] Speaker C: Arid. Arid. [00:20:28] Speaker B: Well, no, his his descendants are named Ericson because they're his sisters. [00:20:31] Speaker C: What's his last name? [00:20:32] Speaker B: His descent? [00:20:33] Speaker F: I don't know his last name. [00:20:35] Speaker B: I never asked him. [00:20:35] Speaker D: He doesn't have a last name. He's been around since episode one, and he still doesn't have a last name. [00:20:40] Speaker E: He's one of. He's one of those celebrities that don't need a last name. Like Madonna. [00:20:45] Speaker F: We just don't know. [00:20:46] Speaker B: The Jenkins arid is a level 13 creature. [00:20:50] Speaker F: That makes more sense. [00:20:51] Speaker D: Oh, boy. [00:20:51] Speaker B: What would you like to know about him? You've got one, two, three, four questions. [00:20:56] Speaker F: That feels good. [00:20:57] Speaker B: Oh, excuse me. Five questions. I missed something. [00:21:03] Speaker F: Oh, that means one of them got a crit. Fail. Oh, no. Okay, you said level 13 creature? [00:21:09] Speaker B: Yes. [00:21:10] Speaker F: Man, he is weak for a BBEG. [00:21:12] Speaker D: You're level 10. [00:21:13] Speaker A: You shut up. [00:21:15] Speaker D: Three levels above us. [00:21:16] Speaker B: All right. Clicking the Elite. [00:21:20] Speaker D: This is book two, man. [00:21:22] Speaker F: Give me weakest save. [00:21:25] Speaker B: Weakest save is reflex. [00:21:28] Speaker F: Give me best save. [00:21:29] Speaker B: Best save is fortitude. [00:21:30] Speaker F: All right. Special ability. [00:21:33] Speaker B: As you are observing how he bears himself in combat, how he holds his weapon and everything, you recognize that he has more than one reaction that he can use per turn. [00:21:43] Speaker F: I don't like that. I don't like that. He's quick. [00:21:44] Speaker D: That's rude. [00:21:45] Speaker F: Okay. Resistances. [00:21:48] Speaker B: None. [00:21:49] Speaker F: That doesn't feel right. [00:21:51] Speaker E: I know. [00:21:51] Speaker D: His armor doesn't get him, like, piercing or. [00:21:53] Speaker F: I'm thinking immunities. Yeah, immunities. Okay, Svens gave me the nod for immunities. [00:21:58] Speaker B: Good question. What could you know about by looking at him or hearing What? You remembering what you've heard about him? [00:22:06] Speaker F: If it helps, Jordy, I am technically channeling the God mind to get this information again. [00:22:10] Speaker B: That does help. Yeah, that does help. Because you're not recalling information that Alward has encountered. [00:22:15] Speaker F: Yeah, no, I am. The voices of Abadar and his angels are speaking directly into my mind. [00:22:20] Speaker D: That's five bucks. Freaky. [00:22:22] Speaker F: It is. [00:22:23] Speaker B: This is difficult to answer simply, but it does. It is listed under the immunity slot on his stat block. [00:22:30] Speaker F: Okay. [00:22:31] Speaker B: On his armor, there are five different small blue stones embedded. And there's one that has been added to the forehead, like the crest of his helmet. That was not there when you all last saw the helmet. Alward, you recognize these as spirit stones? [00:22:49] Speaker F: Yeah, I figured. I figured. You monster. [00:22:52] Speaker D: Oh, so we just break those and he dies. [00:22:54] Speaker F: See, that puts this in a hole. Hard spot. Well, theoretically, his conscious is just traversing into the. Okay, he's a body hopper. He's a body hopper. [00:23:05] Speaker D: A bopper. [00:23:07] Speaker E: Bop it, twist it, kill it. [00:23:10] Speaker F: After getting all that information and sort of passing it along, Alward's then going to sort of tug on the time threads that connect us all into the material plane and give everybody hastened by casting loose times arrow. So everybody gets a free stride, action, or step. [00:23:30] Speaker D: Heck, yeah, man. [00:23:31] Speaker F: That's really good. [00:23:33] Speaker B: All right, so, Alward, you used hypercognition and loose time's arrow. Val, you're up. You are hasted. [00:23:40] Speaker D: All right. As the ink is kind of washing down in the rain, it is conglomerating on her back as it then, like, bursts out as her wings spawn again. Black wings. And then she is going to use the free movement from Jenkins to fly up right north or. Yeah, no, south of arid. And then Sigurd is going to fly right north of arid with her one action, and then I'm gonna strike him on my fly in with a 36 to hit. [00:24:16] Speaker B: That is a hit. [00:24:17] Speaker D: Okay, 20 points of damage. Three of that cold. [00:24:23] Speaker B: All right, the glaive clashes against the armor and just, like, leaves, like, a scrape against, I imagine, like, the pauldron of his upper shoulder. It is now Aaron's turn. [00:24:38] Speaker D: Bring it. [00:24:38] Speaker F: He's gonna jump down. [00:24:40] Speaker B: He's gonna begin with swinging his arrow axe at Val. [00:24:44] Speaker D: You better. [00:24:47] Speaker B: That die went for a trip. Oh, the 28 to hit. [00:24:50] Speaker D: That does not hit. [00:24:52] Speaker B: Ooh. So he's going to just continue with that momentum and keep going and try to hit Sigur. [00:24:58] Speaker D: Nope. [00:25:00] Speaker B: I'm presuming that's going to be a miss. With a 23 to hit. [00:25:03] Speaker D: That is a miss. Rolling garbage. His first attack would have hit. [00:25:08] Speaker E: That's fine. You can roll garbage in a boss fight. [00:25:11] Speaker D: It's always fun when your mouth is wrecked. [00:25:14] Speaker B: So he swings his axe, misses. Val keeps going with that swing and misses Sigurn. Then he kind of releases his hand off of the axe. And with his off hand, as he's finishing out the swing with the axe, he reaches out and lays his hand on Val's forehead. [00:25:33] Speaker D: You suck, Val. [00:25:34] Speaker B: Make a will save. [00:25:35] Speaker E: Oh, my gosh. [00:25:37] Speaker D: Scary Natural 2037. [00:25:40] Speaker B: Nice, Val. You feel your conviction and your commitment to the cause beginning to erode as you just kind of feel like, maybe I should just give in and let this guy win. And then you just feel the surge of zeal coming from Pharasma. That just bolsters your resistance. And his hand is driven away. And that is the end of a turn. Zafir, you're up. [00:26:08] Speaker C: Zafir would like to use his fast movie walking, running thing that Alward graciously Gave him. I would like to be exactly 55ft away from arid as the arrow flies. [00:26:25] Speaker B: How far north? I'll just go until you tell me. Stop. [00:26:27] Speaker D: Remember, I don't qualify as cut cover for you guys. [00:26:30] Speaker C: I stop. [00:26:31] Speaker B: Okay, so you move in. So you're just like right on the edge of the center of the plaza and almost directly to the east of Aaron. [00:26:40] Speaker C: Now, hopefully that doesn't come back to bite me. Speaking of biting. This has nothing to do with biting, except I'm scratching a mosquito bite on my leg. It really itches. Zafir holds his bow right above his head. And you guys saw this last time in combination with the storm clouds, he draws the lightning to his bow and shoots an arrow at Aerode. Trying way too hard right now. [00:27:09] Speaker F: It was good. I liked it. [00:27:10] Speaker D: It checked out. [00:27:12] Speaker C: Oh, dear, dear goodness. Does a 2029 hit? [00:27:17] Speaker B: Your arrow crackles with the power of the storm as a boy comes out of the clouds, wraps around it. The arrow flies directly towards Arid and then glances off, almost as if hit by some unseen force. It is not a hit. [00:27:32] Speaker C: Now that's also a question, though. Even though I didn't hit him, can I still use the residual 1d12 for each concurrent round? [00:27:42] Speaker B: It does add the lightning. [00:27:43] Speaker C: So just for the remaining minute. [00:27:46] Speaker D: Okay, does anyone here have hero points right now? [00:27:49] Speaker E: I have one. [00:27:50] Speaker F: I have two. [00:27:51] Speaker D: Okay. [00:27:51] Speaker C: For the remainder of my turn, I will just recharge. [00:27:58] Speaker A: All right, Uber, I need a 60 foot cone. Is there any way I can position that where it only hits? At least Val or I can move and it only hits. [00:28:11] Speaker B: Yeah, literally, if you step one once. [00:28:13] Speaker F: Towards Neros, which you do have a free step. [00:28:16] Speaker A: Oh, and I'm using that. [00:28:17] Speaker B: So you step back once to be adjacent to Nero's for that spacing. [00:28:20] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:28:21] Speaker B: All right. And now you're letting that elemental breath go. [00:28:24] Speaker A: Yes. As Uvarus steps back closer to Neros. In Neros, you hear a quiet. I'm sorry, Val. And suddenly you hear this deep chant come from uvair. And it's something. You hear it chant change into this screeching and grinding of what sounds like metal as he inhales. And suddenly just this blanket of shards of rusted metal just fly out of his mouth as he casts elemental breath from the plane of metal. [00:29:05] Speaker D: Oh, that was not what I expected. [00:29:07] Speaker F: Want you to do same, but very cool. [00:29:10] Speaker E: I'm sorry, that's. [00:29:11] Speaker A: I need a reflex save. [00:29:13] Speaker E: I'm just imagining nails on a chalkboard. Sound. [00:29:16] Speaker A: Yes, pretty. [00:29:17] Speaker B: Well, I need you to tell me what happens to a creature who critically Fails that reflex. [00:29:22] Speaker E: Oh, nice. [00:29:24] Speaker A: Well, shoot. [00:29:25] Speaker D: I also have. [00:29:26] Speaker A: Yeah, it's double damage. [00:29:27] Speaker D: Huh? I rolled a 28. [00:29:31] Speaker F: Please tell me that's meats. It beats it. [00:29:33] Speaker A: You fail. [00:29:34] Speaker D: Ah, That's a good D.C. though. [00:29:37] Speaker A: 2901 away. [00:29:40] Speaker E: That's upsetting. [00:29:41] Speaker A: A cone of rust slices flesh and damages metal. Each creature in the area takes 5d10 slashing damage. A creature made of metal gets a result 1 degree of success worse than it is rolled. And any unattended metal object gets a critical failure. [00:30:01] Speaker D: Oh, no. [00:30:01] Speaker F: That's why you chose that. [00:30:03] Speaker E: So it's a critical. Critical fail. [00:30:05] Speaker A: If only that was a thing. [00:30:06] Speaker D: All right, Jordy, he has two weapons. He can't be holding both of them. Which one is getting damn destroyed? [00:30:12] Speaker B: They're on his person. [00:30:13] Speaker A: Yeah. Listen to the sound of D10s. [00:30:17] Speaker F: Oh, that's a lot. That's at least five. [00:30:19] Speaker E: That's five D10s. [00:30:21] Speaker F: That's very fun. [00:30:22] Speaker D: Oh, he looks sad. No, he looks. [00:30:24] Speaker E: Oh, he looks happy. [00:30:25] Speaker D: It's hard to tell us. Faces are a little. [00:30:28] Speaker B: It's a roller coaster of emotions. [00:30:29] Speaker F: The beard hides a lot of emotions. [00:30:31] Speaker E: Last case of emotions. [00:30:32] Speaker F: So here's the deal. [00:30:33] Speaker A: I only rolled sevens and eights. [00:30:37] Speaker E: Oh, can confirm. [00:30:39] Speaker A: So allow me to do. [00:30:40] Speaker E: Sorry, Val. [00:30:41] Speaker D: Okay. He crit failed. [00:30:43] Speaker B: Apparently Aarad is really bad at rolling dice. [00:30:45] Speaker E: That's fine. [00:30:46] Speaker D: That's great. [00:30:46] Speaker E: That's great for us. [00:30:47] Speaker D: This is going to be a screed fight for you. [00:30:49] Speaker B: Why? Back when I was around, rolling low to hit was good. [00:30:54] Speaker E: Call of Cthulhu. [00:30:56] Speaker A: Val, you take 38 points of damage, not awful. Mr. Arid takes 76. [00:31:04] Speaker E: Nice. [00:31:04] Speaker D: I love that. [00:31:06] Speaker E: That's a. That's a great number. [00:31:08] Speaker F: That's peak. [00:31:09] Speaker D: I'm actually a fan. Oh, wait. I had temporary HP. [00:31:13] Speaker E: So you take 28. [00:31:14] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:31:15] Speaker E: Nice. [00:31:15] Speaker A: That's my turn. [00:31:17] Speaker B: As this wave of metal and rust just overwhelms Val, the wrought iron fence Aerid just. The fence just starts disintegrating, and pieces of it start falling off in the breeze. And Aerid himself, his cloak just kind of comes off and just flutters off in the wind. And some of the straps on his armor start coming undone. And that pauldron that Val hit earlier just falls off. And there's just emptiness inside. [00:31:45] Speaker E: He is a shell of a man. Good job, Uber. [00:31:49] Speaker D: As he said, Empty. [00:31:51] Speaker B: Like your words, Neros. [00:31:53] Speaker E: I don't want to. I need to be within 30ft of this shell of a thing. I don't know if this is gonna work. [00:32:05] Speaker B: That is the furthest you can be and still be within 30ft. So just stepping up twice. [00:32:09] Speaker E: Okay, cool. I need a will save. [00:32:15] Speaker F: His middle save. [00:32:16] Speaker D: Okay. What's the dc? I'll roll it. [00:32:18] Speaker E: Not you. Targets one creature, my friend. [00:32:22] Speaker B: What is the D.C. oh, that's a good question. [00:32:24] Speaker E: Hang on. [00:32:25] Speaker D: You should have answered my question. [00:32:27] Speaker E: It's a 28. Yes. [00:32:31] Speaker B: Aaron learned how to roll dice. [00:32:33] Speaker D: No. [00:32:33] Speaker E: No. [00:32:35] Speaker B: Critical success. [00:32:36] Speaker F: Get bad. Bad man. [00:32:39] Speaker B: I am bad. [00:32:41] Speaker D: That's the whole point. That's why we're here. [00:32:44] Speaker F: She's shaking her head daggers. [00:32:46] Speaker B: She disapproves of my dice. [00:32:47] Speaker D: She ain't pleased. [00:32:48] Speaker E: They start to behave as soon as I cast a spell. Yeah, that's just rude. [00:32:55] Speaker D: I would do the same. [00:32:57] Speaker E: You know what? You know what? You can have a one action magic missile. [00:33:05] Speaker B: Get him. [00:33:07] Speaker D: Actually, it's called force barrage. [00:33:09] Speaker E: You hush in and what I'm seeing, it says magic legacy spell. Shut up. [00:33:16] Speaker D: And you can actually update it to the remastered. [00:33:18] Speaker E: Well, you know what? I don't care. [00:33:20] Speaker F: Regardless. Get him. [00:33:23] Speaker E: You get one whole D4 plus one. What's. Is it just plus one? [00:33:28] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:33:28] Speaker E: You get four damage. [00:33:31] Speaker F: Nice. [00:33:32] Speaker D: Was he bloodied or. And or metaled from this last one? [00:33:36] Speaker B: He just got bloodied. [00:33:40] Speaker D: Wait, so what's the terminology for a man made of metal? [00:33:42] Speaker B: Broken. [00:33:43] Speaker D: Oh. [00:33:44] Speaker B: Oh. [00:33:44] Speaker D: Well then that means he fails broken threshold. [00:33:47] Speaker B: Yes, he does. [00:33:51] Speaker E: Nice. [00:33:52] Speaker D: Look at Abby breaking the bad guy. [00:33:54] Speaker E: With the whole four points of damage. [00:33:57] Speaker B: Episode title Breaking Bad. That brings us to the top of the round two. [00:34:05] Speaker F: Alward, how far away is Nero's from the bad guy? [00:34:09] Speaker B: 30Ft exactly. [00:34:10] Speaker F: Amazing. So when my turn starts, I'm gonna unleash my psyche. Oh. And I think it's like a 15 foot radius of me. The wa. Like the water just stops hitting me and it just becomes the symbols of my psyche. And then I'm gonna use my free action to take two steps back and one step south. Thank you. And then I'm going to amp a spell dancing blade. And as the vocals, which normally just sort of spawn around me, start happening, instead of my voice comes out, Nero's voice comes out and it's around her. [00:34:53] Speaker E: Are you gonna use me? [00:34:54] Speaker F: I'm gonna use you. [00:34:58] Speaker D: The best of friends. You are my friend. [00:35:02] Speaker F: Oliver's gonna use Neros to the best of his abilities. [00:35:07] Speaker E: Piloting just to benefit himself. [00:35:10] Speaker F: Yep. And her dagger flies out from her belt as Neros does. What's it called? [00:35:18] Speaker E: It's called spell relay. Just a feat. It's a reaction anytime an ally casts a spell and I'm within that spell's range. Basically uses me as the starting point for the spell. So from me to Aerid, my weapon. [00:35:35] Speaker F: Flies over to Aaron is going to. [00:35:36] Speaker B: Give him a bonk. [00:35:36] Speaker F: Not my weapon, sorry, Abby's weapon. Nero's weapon flies over to Aaron and is going to give him a stab. Cause you have a dagger. [00:35:44] Speaker E: Yes, I never use it, but I do have a dagger. [00:35:47] Speaker F: It's getting used today. [00:35:49] Speaker B: All right, make that SP attack roll. [00:35:52] Speaker F: Oh, that's bad. [00:35:53] Speaker D: In theory, that might hit his broken ac. If it changed that much, I'm gonna. [00:35:57] Speaker F: Spend a hero point. That's so much better. 36. [00:36:03] Speaker B: That's a hit. [00:36:04] Speaker F: Yeah. 30 damage. Nice as he gets stabbed. [00:36:09] Speaker B: That's quite a stab. [00:36:10] Speaker F: That is quite a stab. [00:36:12] Speaker B: I'd say that stab slashes through like one of the straps and the other Pauldron just falls off. [00:36:17] Speaker F: Yeah, it's a good stab. After that, I think for my last action, I'm gonna give it over to Geordi and do the thing that we discussed. The thing, the thing, the thing. The thing. [00:36:29] Speaker B: So after Neros dagger flies over and slashes one of those straps on a armor, the rain that's falling around Alward starts like stopping in midair and pattering almost as if Alward is surrounded by a whole bunch of people. And if you look closely, you start to almost see like shadowy alternate versions of Alward surrounding him. [00:36:56] Speaker D: Like what? [00:36:59] Speaker E: Well, that's not. [00:37:00] Speaker D: There's an Alward. That's just a chicken. [00:37:04] Speaker C: It's like that one scene in that one movie. [00:37:08] Speaker B: There's also a pig. Al Word played by Nathan Lane. [00:37:12] Speaker F: Is there a Nicholas Cage outward? [00:37:14] Speaker B: Yes. [00:37:14] Speaker D: Please try to know every language. [00:37:16] Speaker B: Val, you're up. [00:37:17] Speaker D: Oh, it's my dick. I hope you all enjoyed the off the spot memory attempt at a Nathan Lane impression, which I don't think sound anything like Nathan Lane. [00:37:27] Speaker C: I'm gonna be honest, I did. I could not tell. [00:37:29] Speaker B: It sounded more like Nathan Lane than I did. Like Nicolas Cage. [00:37:32] Speaker D: Oh, that's good. Thank you. I'm flattered, really. [00:37:36] Speaker E: Gilbert Godfrey. [00:37:37] Speaker D: I'm. He hasn't hit me, has he? No, he hasn't damaged anyone. No, I can't use my thing. All right, I'll just do a regular strike. 28. [00:37:50] Speaker B: That is a hit. [00:37:51] Speaker D: Okay. 17. Total damage. All right, I'm going to go ahead and have Sigurd make an attack. [00:38:01] Speaker B: Okay. [00:38:03] Speaker D: 23. [00:38:05] Speaker B: That is not a hit. [00:38:07] Speaker D: Oh, man. [00:38:08] Speaker B: This is why I shouldn't be referencing rules while things are happening. [00:38:12] Speaker D: Why? [00:38:12] Speaker B: I missed a reaction. [00:38:14] Speaker D: What do you mean? [00:38:15] Speaker B: I was gonna use a reaction to my attack. [00:38:18] Speaker D: Just a normal attack. Why? I don't like that. [00:38:23] Speaker B: Well, he doesn't like being attacked over there. [00:38:25] Speaker D: I'm gonna swing again because it's all I can do right now. 28 again. [00:38:31] Speaker B: That's a hit. [00:38:32] Speaker D: Okay. And I'll do extra damage. Cuz forceful. 20 points of damage. [00:38:39] Speaker B: All right, so I missed it on the first one, but I am gonna use it on the second one. [00:38:45] Speaker D: Oh, what is it? [00:38:46] Speaker B: As you hit him with your second strike on the glaive with your glaive, more pieces of his armor are just kind of like hanging loose and floating flopping, sort of just in a close approximation of the shape of a man instead of like a full suit of armor. But still from the helmet just comes this booming voice. You dare strike your high king? Kneel before me and I'm going to offer you a choice. You may choose to drop prone as a free action and kneel before arid or take mental damage. [00:39:19] Speaker D: Okay, I'll just take damage. [00:39:21] Speaker B: All right, I'm gonna roll some damage here. So you take 16 mental damage. [00:39:28] Speaker D: Wow. [00:39:30] Speaker B: And just this lingering tug at your soul takes four. You take four Persistent spirit damage. [00:39:37] Speaker D: Oh, that's rude. So he is a champion. [00:39:43] Speaker B: Make a religion check. [00:39:45] Speaker D: 34. [00:39:46] Speaker B: You get more of a sense of wrongness. Like he's devoted to a cause, but no deity. [00:39:52] Speaker D: Oh, Val is gonna use lay on hands. [00:39:57] Speaker B: I forgot Sigurd was savage and I was like, aren't you out of actions? [00:40:00] Speaker D: No. Yeah. If I commit to Sigurd not having action at any point in my turn, she can act. So I heal 30 hit points. And my AC is up by 2 too. Wow. As Phasma's light just kind of enters me again as I'm defending myself. I am blessed by my God on this mission. I will not kneel to tyrants like you. [00:40:24] Speaker B: You used lay on hands. I did lay on hands. [00:40:28] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:40:28] Speaker B: Let's see. I did narrate that. He let go of the axe and is just holding it with one hand so he could touch Val. Yeah, so since he's not two handing the axe, he can't use that, but he will smack it. Val with his gauntleted hand. [00:40:42] Speaker D: What is he doing? [00:40:43] Speaker B: A reactive strike against the. [00:40:45] Speaker D: I gave you so much time to say that. You were doing that. [00:40:48] Speaker B: I was letting you finish, so you. [00:40:49] Speaker D: Already missed your chance. [00:40:51] Speaker B: Oh, I was being polite. 37. [00:40:55] Speaker D: Yeah, that hits. [00:40:56] Speaker B: Okay. 15 bludgeoning damage. [00:41:00] Speaker D: 15 Armstrong. [00:41:02] Speaker A: Right? [00:41:03] Speaker D: Pretty good. All right, that is my turn. And she smacks me across the face. [00:41:07] Speaker B: All right, as your turn is ending, you take four spirit damage and then roll a D20. [00:41:13] Speaker D: It's still going. [00:41:14] Speaker B: Okay, it is now Aid's turn. And just kind of this loose clattering of metal plates and such. You just hear his voice echoing. You have shown yourselves to be true warriors. So when you are greeted at the gates of Valhalla, you may say that you truly fought Aid. And he swings his hand out to the side and lets go of his axe. And it continues floating in air as he pulls out a flail and a shield. [00:41:43] Speaker A: Is he doing a spell? [00:41:44] Speaker B: He is not doing a spell. [00:41:45] Speaker A: Dang it. [00:41:46] Speaker D: A moment. I wish I had Reactive strike. Wait, why didn't he just swap? [00:41:50] Speaker B: Because then the axe flies around behind Val to get flying flanking and swings at her on its own with a 33 to hit against your off guard AC. All right. With 21 slashing damage. All right, Zafir, it's your turn. [00:42:09] Speaker D: Finally. Oh, that was all he was doing? [00:42:10] Speaker B: Yeah. Activating the axe takes some time. [00:42:13] Speaker D: Okay. I was expecting to get like, like. [00:42:16] Speaker C: Slammed, so can you describe the scene to me? [00:42:19] Speaker B: Sure. The rain is pouring down on the Joelburg Plaza. [00:42:24] Speaker A: Where. [00:42:25] Speaker C: I mean, that's a good start. [00:42:26] Speaker F: It's a good start. [00:42:28] Speaker B: Where a standing up on this balcony overlooking the main thoroughfare where most of the party is standing kind of scattered out through the thoroughfare. Val and Sigurd have both cornered Aered up on this walkway next to the wrought iron railing that's been obliterated by the blast of rust that Uwe sent their way. Aerid has Val cornered between himself and his animated axe that's floating behind her. But Val has Aerid cornered between her and Sigurd. Your bow is still crackling with residual lightning energy from your last round. [00:43:00] Speaker D: And those executioners are just watching. [00:43:02] Speaker B: They're just watching. [00:43:03] Speaker C: Yeah. So the executioners, they're not doing anything. [00:43:05] Speaker B: They haven't been told to do anything. [00:43:08] Speaker D: So unambitious. [00:43:09] Speaker C: So I'm curious as to if ranged attacks were will even get to him. [00:43:15] Speaker D: They should. I think. Last night you just narrated you missing it. [00:43:18] Speaker C: Said it hit something. [00:43:20] Speaker B: There's a special narration of you missing. [00:43:22] Speaker C: I mean, you said it looked like it hit something, so you know, it was flavor. [00:43:26] Speaker B: You hit the flavor. [00:43:28] Speaker D: Hit the flavor. Hit the flavor. [00:43:30] Speaker C: Well, let's just see what happens. Another arrow flies. [00:43:34] Speaker B: All right, make a strike. [00:43:37] Speaker C: That is a natural 20. [00:43:40] Speaker D: Natural 20. [00:43:41] Speaker E: Natural 20. [00:43:42] Speaker D: Sven. [00:43:43] Speaker C: Natural 20. [00:43:43] Speaker D: You have the deck. [00:43:45] Speaker A: Heart shot, triple damage. [00:43:47] Speaker B: That one. [00:43:48] Speaker A: Crit effect. The target takes one. D4. Persistent bleed. [00:43:52] Speaker F: That one. [00:43:52] Speaker D: Oh, should we be targeting his little. [00:43:54] Speaker B: It's not very relevant. [00:43:55] Speaker A: It's not at all. [00:43:56] Speaker F: Would the triple damage extend to the spell? [00:43:58] Speaker A: He doesn't have a heart. [00:44:00] Speaker F: I don't care about that. [00:44:01] Speaker D: Would the triple damage flavor it as a spirit stone? [00:44:03] Speaker B: That's actually a really good way to. [00:44:05] Speaker E: That's what I was thinking. [00:44:06] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:44:07] Speaker B: The persistent. I would let. I would allow the triple damage, but persistent bleed doesn't make sense. [00:44:11] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:44:12] Speaker C: Quick question. Did you say he was a construct. [00:44:14] Speaker F: Or that was technically. Wouldn't. I know that based off of my. [00:44:18] Speaker B: Five successes with the context of the fight as it's progressed and the five recall knowledge checks, you would know that what you're fighting right now is basically an animated suit of armor. [00:44:31] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:44:32] Speaker B: There is not a person here. [00:44:33] Speaker D: Does it have the construct test tag? [00:44:35] Speaker B: It does. [00:44:35] Speaker D: Okay. [00:44:37] Speaker C: Okay. I mean, that doesn't change too much. Just. I didn't write any of this down. [00:44:42] Speaker A: So you have one extra D12 of lightning damage. [00:44:45] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know that. I just didn't write any of it down. So I'm going by memory. [00:44:50] Speaker A: Well, I'll remember what damage you have. [00:44:52] Speaker F: To do, but is the additional lightning damage, is that increased by the storm, or is that only the first time? [00:44:58] Speaker B: It's the initial lightning bolt is increased by the storm. [00:45:01] Speaker C: Almost forgot the detail. [00:45:04] Speaker D: That's comedy, folks. [00:45:05] Speaker C: Okay, so starting with. And I'm not doubling it. My. In my head. Six piercing five fire six from the draw the lightning and 12 from the spell. Ignition. And then for the critical success, target takes double damage. And 5D4 persistent fire damage. [00:45:28] Speaker E: This guy's dead. I hope. [00:45:32] Speaker B: Zafir, you loose this arrow crackling with electricity and fire damage, and it embeds itself straight into the helmet. And then the force of the arrow just keeps going, and the helmet just goes flying off the top of the armor. And the armor itself just clatters to the ground in pieces. [00:45:50] Speaker C: Can it hit one of the executioners just in like, the knee or something? [00:45:53] Speaker B: Yeah, just like clobbers. [00:45:54] Speaker F: I used to be an executioner like you. Points at the other executioner, and as. [00:45:59] Speaker B: This pile of armor collapses, you just hear, I will be back alward on a rooftop behind you. You hear a voice. Don't let him get away. Don't let him get away. We have to end this. [00:46:17] Speaker D: Is it you? [00:46:18] Speaker F: I turn. I turn around and look at the rooftop. [00:46:22] Speaker B: You see Cornelius tossing a chalice towards you. [00:46:26] Speaker E: What? [00:46:27] Speaker D: What? [00:46:28] Speaker E: What? [00:46:28] Speaker F: Can my mage hand grab the chalice? Yes, my mage hand grabs the chalice. [00:46:32] Speaker D: I'm open. [00:46:33] Speaker B: Albert. He's projecting his mind across space. Don't let him get away. That's where we'll end this. [00:46:40] Speaker E: What? [00:46:42] Speaker F: He's a Jedi. Toss to me. [00:46:44] Speaker C: I'll shoot it with my bomb. [00:46:45] Speaker E: Suddenly, Cornelius. [00:46:47] Speaker A: Where did. [00:46:50] Speaker C: How much damage did I do? [00:46:51] Speaker E: A lot. [00:46:52] Speaker F: At least 67 damage. [00:46:56] Speaker A: I didn't expect. [00:46:56] Speaker F: Cornelius. [00:46:57] Speaker A: So before you did the extra double damage and whatever, you were at 87 with the chalice. [00:47:03] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:47:04] Speaker D: Wait, but is that the second chance? [00:47:06] Speaker F: Because it was potentially trapped him with my father. [00:47:09] Speaker D: There's potential. Well, hang on. There's potentially two chalices. [00:47:14] Speaker E: What? [00:47:14] Speaker D: Well, cause we saw Hamir. We saw a shot of Aaron with a chalice, but he also had Heimir out. But it was unclear if that was like a flash to what he's supposed to look like fully or if there are just two chalices. [00:47:26] Speaker B: I should probably remind you all at this point of something your characters don't know, but you players do. There was also a cutaway of Cornelius with a chalice. [00:47:35] Speaker D: So there's three possibilities. [00:47:36] Speaker E: So there's three chalices. [00:47:38] Speaker D: Well, if the theory that Cornelius is Hamir from the future, then that would be the same chapter. [00:47:43] Speaker A: That's a theory. [00:47:44] Speaker F: Now, new cracked theory. Cornelius, Heimir and Ericsson all the same person. [00:47:49] Speaker C: I think Cornelius is just all of us. [00:47:51] Speaker F: Wait, so, like, we are the Corneliuses. [00:47:53] Speaker D: Along the way, successfully kills the gods, becomes a champion of no God, goes back to kill Faftu. [00:48:01] Speaker F: Yes. This is what happened. [00:48:04] Speaker B: All right. And the hero point for this episode goes to Sven Ferrari for that really cool rest attack on a animated suit of armor. Clutch moment. [00:48:15] Speaker A: Yeah, that. So behind the scenes, you told me about him because Uwe would have known about him. [00:48:24] Speaker B: Yes. [00:48:26] Speaker F: I had a good assumption that what he was going to be. [00:48:30] Speaker A: But, yeah, I was looking forward to that moment. Thank you for the hero point. That was. Oh, I feel so rusty playing a spellcaster. [00:48:46] Speaker E: No, no, no, no. [00:48:48] Speaker D: I'm not laughing. [00:48:50] Speaker E: That was really bad. [00:48:52] Speaker F: Approve. Can we take it away? Give him another hero point. [00:48:54] Speaker E: I approve of your approval. [00:48:58] Speaker A: I'm gonna go study up on how to be a spellcaster again. So bye. [00:49:04] Speaker C: Don't ask me anything. [00:49:06] Speaker B: All right, everybody, I want you all to get in that discord. Tell us what you think is going on with the chalice. Why is Cornelius here, Whose machinations are affecting Uvaire? Anything, really? [00:49:15] Speaker F: I mean, what does it mean by he's casting his mind across space. [00:49:19] Speaker D: He's a Jedi mind is leaving, and we have to catch it in the chalice. [00:49:25] Speaker B: But we want to hear your thoughts. So get on the discord, talk to us there, and we'll see you all in the next episode. [00:49:30] Speaker D: Bye. We're gonna look really stupid because we keep making fun of him not having a body. [00:50:28] Speaker A: I'll wait for a reaction to those words. [00:50:31] Speaker E: Eric is just like, what? [00:50:33] Speaker D: Let me take off my helmet. [00:50:34] Speaker E: I can't hear you. [00:50:36] Speaker B: Sorry, I can't hear you through this helmet. [00:50:38] Speaker D: Takes it off, puts on his glasses.
