[00:00:05] Speaker A: You are listening to an atomic broadcasting production. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the feature presentation. And remember, do your part. Such as, like, comment rate. And don't forget to tell a friend to tune in for an atomic time. [00:00:33] Speaker B: Now, where did we leave off? Ah, yes. After defeating the gargoyles, attacking the city, the party reunited with Uver, who said there wasn't time to explain, and they had to get to the Council of Joel immediately. [00:00:56] Speaker A: Can. [00:00:56] Speaker C: Can we talk about something that has been confusing me this whole time? Okay. [00:01:00] Speaker D: No. [00:01:00] Speaker C: So we're in an area and it's supposed to be very, like, Nordic inspired. Every time we play, I'm like, either we suck at framing this as Nordic inspired, or we're too colonizer to, like, actually do Nordic stuff. Because I'm like, this is just like old England. [00:01:18] Speaker D: I try. I'm a power. [00:01:19] Speaker E: No, you. [00:01:20] Speaker D: No. [00:01:20] Speaker B: It is Nordic flavored, but it's not really a Nordic culture. [00:01:25] Speaker C: Yeah, and that's what's it blow every time. I'm just like. I'm so confused by this. [00:01:29] Speaker B: It's actually specifically because of the area. We're in Southmoor. It's like marshy and non Arab land. [00:01:36] Speaker D: Why would you do that? [00:01:38] Speaker C: Well, it also has the. [00:01:40] Speaker D: Why didn't you put us in the moors? [00:01:42] Speaker B: Because we need to be close to Kaabberburg. [00:01:44] Speaker D: Why do we have to be close to Kaabberburgen? [00:01:46] Speaker B: Because of things. I wanted you close to the Kahokodar mountains. [00:01:50] Speaker C: Oh, the mountains are going to explode by the end of this and become a Kaiser. [00:01:53] Speaker B: This mountain range, by the way, is basically the Himalayas of Golarion. [00:01:56] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:01:57] Speaker C: By the way, I do want to mention. I wasn't saying that was a bad thing. It's just something that I notice and every now and then pops into my head. [00:02:03] Speaker F: Jenkins, we are Americans. [00:02:05] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:02:05] Speaker F: We do American things. [00:02:06] Speaker C: No, we don't. [00:02:07] Speaker E: What did I miss? [00:02:09] Speaker F: Jenkins is being deported. [00:02:10] Speaker E: Yeah, you missed your confession. [00:02:12] Speaker C: It was pretty spicy. [00:02:13] Speaker D: Geordie doesn't like Nordic people. He prefers tall or the Norse culture. What he admitted to, I resented it was what? Jenkins, can I get a retcon? What did you say? [00:02:28] Speaker E: He said it was pretty spicy. [00:02:30] Speaker C: No, I retconned that. [00:02:34] Speaker F: Just because you retconned, it doesn't mean it didn't happen. [00:02:38] Speaker D: Sorry, What? [00:02:38] Speaker B: Jordy? [00:02:39] Speaker E: What were you talking about? [00:02:41] Speaker B: I told them about Joel. [00:02:42] Speaker F: Okay, Joel is spicy, but not the. [00:02:45] Speaker D: Book of the Bible. Scooby Dooby Doo. [00:02:49] Speaker E: Scooby Dooby Doo? [00:02:50] Speaker F: Yeah. The blue Scooby Doo gummies are Scooby Dooby. [00:02:52] Speaker E: Don't do drugs. [00:02:54] Speaker C: Excuse you. Have you seen Shaq? [00:02:56] Speaker F: Jackie, have you seen Scooby? [00:02:58] Speaker D: How dare you? [00:02:59] Speaker C: He's a dog. [00:02:59] Speaker E: They shouldn't do. They should stop doing drugs. [00:03:02] Speaker D: They don't do drugs. [00:03:03] Speaker B: Am I glad that he's in there and we're. [00:03:08] Speaker F: And that we're the sheriff. I'm the sheriff. He's the sheriff. Who's the sheriff? [00:03:12] Speaker C: You're the sheriff. [00:03:12] Speaker A: Where's the sheriff? [00:03:13] Speaker D: You get shot. [00:03:14] Speaker C: Oh, there's a. [00:03:16] Speaker D: Fine. [00:03:16] Speaker F: I didn't. No, I didn't shoot the deputy, but. [00:03:18] Speaker E: Did you shoot the sheriff? [00:03:19] Speaker F: Yes. [00:03:20] Speaker C: No. That was me. [00:03:21] Speaker E: Oh. [00:03:22] Speaker D: In the year 7,000 B.C. [00:03:24] Speaker B: What? [00:03:26] Speaker D: That was a long time ago. Songs used to mean something. [00:03:30] Speaker F: Was there music back then? [00:03:31] Speaker B: Yeah, obviously, I guess some form of it, probably. [00:03:35] Speaker F: Music is in the eye of the ear of the beholder. The eye of the ear. [00:03:40] Speaker B: The eye of the ear. It's the eye of the beholder. [00:03:42] Speaker D: Anyway. You're saying. [00:03:44] Speaker E: What's happening? [00:03:45] Speaker B: You guys are now level 11. [00:03:48] Speaker E: I can't. [00:03:48] Speaker C: Thank you, Jordy. [00:03:49] Speaker B: I just finished level 10. [00:03:50] Speaker C: Good thing my level 11's been chosen since level two. [00:03:53] Speaker E: Can't tell if that's a bit or not. [00:03:55] Speaker B: It's a bit. You guys are going to have to do something impressive. [00:04:00] Speaker C: Like close out the book. [00:04:01] Speaker F: I can do a flip. [00:04:02] Speaker D: Yeah. Okay. [00:04:05] Speaker B: Wait. [00:04:06] Speaker C: I have a. Let me just. [00:04:07] Speaker D: What's happening? [00:04:08] Speaker E: I'm watching a satisfying watercolor painting. [00:04:11] Speaker D: Don't do that. [00:04:11] Speaker C: Can I see? [00:04:12] Speaker E: You have to come over here for it. [00:04:14] Speaker F: Okay. [00:04:15] Speaker C: No, I got to see it. I got to see it. [00:04:18] Speaker E: It's basically just a loop of someone making it. [00:04:21] Speaker D: This is me looking at the camera. [00:04:23] Speaker E: It makes me happy. [00:04:25] Speaker F: Jim? [00:04:25] Speaker D: Yeah. I'm Jimmy Jordy. [00:04:28] Speaker F: Jim's. [00:04:30] Speaker B: I'll Jim the audience. [00:04:32] Speaker E: It's just this, but it makes me happy. [00:04:33] Speaker F: Why is the audience over there? [00:04:34] Speaker D: Are they over there behind you? You wouldn't know. [00:04:37] Speaker C: That was very satisfying. [00:04:38] Speaker A: I want to talk about your shirt. [00:04:41] Speaker C: Okay. This is the first time I've been wearing this shirt for, like, ever. Yeah, forever. [00:04:48] Speaker A: It is maroon. [00:04:49] Speaker C: It is. [00:04:49] Speaker A: How dare you. [00:04:51] Speaker E: I love maroon. What is wrong with maroon? [00:04:53] Speaker A: Everything is wrong with maroon. [00:04:55] Speaker D: It reminds him of when he was marooned. [00:04:56] Speaker C: Okay. [00:04:57] Speaker E: Why? [00:04:58] Speaker C: It's also gold. It's a howl's moving castle. [00:05:00] Speaker A: The gold makes it okay. [00:05:02] Speaker C: It has my name. It calls me a great wizard. [00:05:05] Speaker E: What is wrong with maroon? [00:05:07] Speaker A: See? And that's everything that is okay with it. [00:05:09] Speaker D: I think it's just. Oh, I was just. I thought it was because your college colors and you were upset about it. [00:05:14] Speaker F: I thought it was. [00:05:15] Speaker A: I Am upset to make college. [00:05:17] Speaker F: Gryffindor. [00:05:18] Speaker C: That's not gold. [00:05:19] Speaker A: But I don't know what the Gryffindor. [00:05:22] Speaker F: I'm a ravenclaw. I don't care about other characters. [00:05:25] Speaker D: My goodness. [00:05:26] Speaker A: It's. I wouldn't read too deeply into this one. [00:05:29] Speaker E: I'm reading it. Wait, I'm reading into it. [00:05:31] Speaker C: Abby, can I go back and watch the thing? [00:05:33] Speaker E: I'd have to scroll up. I can find it again, but it's gonna take a while. [00:05:40] Speaker B: Speaking of taking a while, let's get into the things. Joel is under attack by insurgents and coughing people the plague. [00:05:53] Speaker E: Sorry. [00:05:54] Speaker D: Oh, that gargoyle. [00:05:55] Speaker E: I inhaled my own spit. I apologize. [00:05:58] Speaker B: I'm gonna change views. I'm gonna bring up a map. [00:06:01] Speaker C: I like maps. [00:06:01] Speaker D: We already had a map. Another map. [00:06:03] Speaker B: Welcome to the map of Joel. [00:06:04] Speaker D: That's the map of Joel. Where were we at? [00:06:06] Speaker F: Apparently it's very tall instead of wide. [00:06:09] Speaker D: There's Alward's apartment headquarters. [00:06:11] Speaker C: Oh, my goodness. There it is. Yep. [00:06:13] Speaker F: It's actually labeled. [00:06:15] Speaker C: Why is it taking up half of the city now? [00:06:17] Speaker A: It needs to be more like manor or mansion. [00:06:20] Speaker D: It's gotten so big. [00:06:22] Speaker F: Apartment, tardis. [00:06:23] Speaker B: Tardis. [00:06:24] Speaker D: Big arena in the city to be just abandoned this whole time. [00:06:28] Speaker C: It's so huge. [00:06:30] Speaker F: We just don't go there. [00:06:31] Speaker C: This is the first time we've seen this map? [00:06:33] Speaker F: I don't think so. But it's more labeled. [00:06:35] Speaker D: A long time ago. [00:06:36] Speaker E: It's a pretty big city. [00:06:38] Speaker A: It looks like a T bone state. [00:06:40] Speaker E: It does kind of look like a T bone steak. [00:06:43] Speaker F: It also looks like a plant cell. [00:06:45] Speaker C: It does. Look. I could see the mitochondria. [00:06:49] Speaker F: That's the abandoned Areana Arena. [00:06:51] Speaker B: No, it's the powerhouse of the cell. [00:06:53] Speaker A: I want to talk to the. I want to talk to the architect. Because he left a portion of the city undefended. [00:06:59] Speaker F: Right next to the arid Manor. [00:07:00] Speaker A: I know. [00:07:00] Speaker B: Right next to the river. [00:07:01] Speaker E: Right next to the river. [00:07:01] Speaker C: I think they've got enough protection if. [00:07:03] Speaker B: Anybody wants to see a map of Joel. I don't think I can actually share it with you because it's in a published Paizo book. [00:07:10] Speaker D: You can put it on Discord. [00:07:11] Speaker F: We can Dr. It. I could draw it. [00:07:13] Speaker B: You can put it in Pathfinder campaign setting. Lands of the Linorm Kings by Matthew Goodall, Jordan Keith, Colin McComb and Rob McCreary. [00:07:22] Speaker D: I think we can put it in the Discord. [00:07:24] Speaker C: Quick question. Where we last left off? Uvair said a thing. Did you bring this map up to talk about that? [00:07:32] Speaker D: Yeah. Who's the council what's going on? [00:07:33] Speaker B: The council usually meets in the Joelburg, which is the separate wall. [00:07:37] Speaker D: This is a normal council that's just in charge of Joel? [00:07:41] Speaker B: Yes. Oh, it's just like the elders and noblemen. [00:07:44] Speaker F: So they're not the Evil Council. [00:07:45] Speaker E: Where are we right now? [00:07:47] Speaker B: Down here by the arena. [00:07:48] Speaker D: So we're in the southeast. [00:07:49] Speaker E: Okay. [00:07:50] Speaker D: And the place we want to go to counseling is kind of in the northwest with a secondary wall. [00:07:55] Speaker C: We need group counseling. [00:07:57] Speaker F: That is. [00:07:57] Speaker D: I mean, yeah, probably. [00:08:00] Speaker B: It's about two and a half blocks away. [00:08:02] Speaker C: Oh, that's not going to take us too long. [00:08:04] Speaker B: That's only two and a half blocks between episodes. I was saying I always thought Joel was like pancake, but Joel is more like a souffle. [00:08:13] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:08:14] Speaker F: I think more like a birthday. No, a wedding cake. Birthday cakes usually. [00:08:17] Speaker C: It has layers. [00:08:18] Speaker E: Ogres have layers. [00:08:19] Speaker C: It's an onion. [00:08:21] Speaker D: Oh, my goodness. [00:08:23] Speaker F: But do we have to go up an incline? Is that the. [00:08:26] Speaker E: Do we have to walk uphill? [00:08:28] Speaker F: Because that's a deal breaker. [00:08:29] Speaker D: We have to walk uphill. We're out of here. [00:08:31] Speaker B: Not really. I mean, it's a little bit of uphill if you go that way. It's more downhill when you go up to the riverfront, but the road kind of tries to stay level so that crossing this bridge into the Jolberg isn't a huge trouble. [00:08:45] Speaker E: The Jolberg. [00:08:47] Speaker B: The Jolberg. [00:08:49] Speaker C: Lead the way, Maestro Gouverne. [00:08:55] Speaker B: So as you make your way down the street towards the direction of the Joulburg, you come to a fork in the road to the left. There seem to be a lot of civilians who are trying to push their way against the direction you're trying to go. So away from the Jollburg, down the road towards you and along the right is a bunch of rubble and detritus from presumably either people breaking buildings or looting buildings and all of the chaos. How would you like to proceed forward? [00:09:23] Speaker F: I am not the decision maker here. [00:09:25] Speaker D: You said that the people are running from the Jollburg, right? [00:09:28] Speaker B: Yes. [00:09:28] Speaker D: We want to head towards the Jollburg. [00:09:30] Speaker B: Yes. [00:09:30] Speaker D: And the people look safe. [00:09:33] Speaker B: They look like they're not being currently threatened right now, but they look upset and frightened. [00:09:37] Speaker D: I don't care if they're upset. Everyone's upset right now. The whole place is under attack. [00:09:41] Speaker F: So we've got the one to the left that we have to hang a right to get to it, and then the other one kind of curves up to the main road. [00:09:46] Speaker D: The civilians are to the left. [00:09:47] Speaker F: I'm assuming the civilians are pushing. [00:09:49] Speaker D: Oh, they're running towards us. [00:09:50] Speaker B: The civilians are running down the road. [00:09:54] Speaker D: Let's just cut through an alleyway. [00:09:56] Speaker C: Let's just follow the flow of traffic and make our way to the main road. [00:10:00] Speaker F: Yeah, once we get to the main road, then we can turn. [00:10:02] Speaker D: Well, I'll just go wherever. [00:10:03] Speaker F: Are any of them holding flat screen TVs that they stole from the nearby radio shop? [00:10:07] Speaker E: Oh God. [00:10:07] Speaker B: On the right hand side, there are no people holding flat screen TVs. But there is one guy with his face covered and he's got a big face. [00:10:17] Speaker F: Hey, let's go. Before I say anything else stupid, which. [00:10:21] Speaker B: Way are you going? [00:10:22] Speaker A: Right. [00:10:23] Speaker B: Okay. To the right. The road is covered with rubble and like beams from the building and stuff like that. So this we're going to run as a skill challenge. [00:10:33] Speaker D: So run as fast as I can. [00:10:35] Speaker C: I regret choosing this. [00:10:37] Speaker F: I have gummies in my dice tray. I need to move them roll. [00:10:40] Speaker B: The way that this works, you get two failures before you start experiencing consequences. If you can accumulate a total of four victories, you make it through through the road. And this is on a group wide basis. So you tell me what you'd like to do and what you'd like to roll to do that. [00:10:58] Speaker D: I'd like to pray while running. And roll. [00:11:01] Speaker C: Religion, please let us pass this barrier. [00:11:05] Speaker F: Can Sigurd fly us over the rubble at least me. [00:11:08] Speaker B: Oh yes, that reminds me. Sigurd catches up with you while you're heading down the road. [00:11:12] Speaker F: Can Sigurd fly me over the rubble so I don't have to make these checks? As in I. E. Flower field. [00:11:17] Speaker B: If you'd like to do that, I would need an athletics check from Sigrun. [00:11:21] Speaker D: Sigrun is a savage animal now. So her strength score just went up. She now has a plus five in strength. [00:11:29] Speaker F: I'm good. I'll do it myself. [00:11:31] Speaker D: Oh, but Sigrun's like really good. What are we doing? Can I roll religion while I'm praying? [00:11:38] Speaker B: Since that's not a direct response to the problem at and it may be a higher DC but you can attempt to ask for divine intervention. [00:11:48] Speaker E: Can I roll intimidation 28. [00:11:50] Speaker A: You can intimidate the rubble to get. [00:11:52] Speaker B: Out of your way. [00:11:53] Speaker C: I would like to roll a counting lore Stupid rock. [00:11:59] Speaker A: You're gonna count the number of rocks. [00:12:01] Speaker C: That are out on the so I know how many I need to jump. [00:12:04] Speaker F: Where to jump, when to jump. [00:12:06] Speaker B: So Val, you start running down the road and you're just like calling out to Pharasma for guidance, but you clock your head on a beam as you're Going by, and it doesn't seem like Pharasma is interested in guiding you down this path at the moment. [00:12:21] Speaker D: This is 28. This is like normal. Civilians can't make it through this place. Apparently. [00:12:26] Speaker B: You're not standing to Pharasma. No. [00:12:28] Speaker F: In all fairness, usually it's not like this. [00:12:31] Speaker D: I'll just kind of just relax. [00:12:33] Speaker B: Since Val's tried something, let's try someone else. We don't necessarily have to go around the table or an initiative. [00:12:38] Speaker F: Are there shadows around caused by the rubble? [00:12:42] Speaker B: There are some, but it's difficult to get a good bead on them because there's, like, a couple scattered fires. Nothing that seems like it's like it threatening the town, but enough that it's hard to get a good track on the. It's hard to get a good track on the location of the shadows. So what I'll need you to do is roll perception to see if you can get a good bead on one to teleport through to. [00:13:02] Speaker F: Well, I think I'd rather do acrobatics. [00:13:05] Speaker B: So just trying to, like, slip through the beams and rubble and stuff. Yeah, okay. Go ahead and give me acrobatics. [00:13:12] Speaker F: Sorry, don't like math. It's easy, but it's. It's hard. [00:13:17] Speaker C: What? [00:13:18] Speaker E: It's easy, but it's hard. [00:13:20] Speaker F: I've forgotten how math works. 27. I think that's exactly. No, you got 28, didn't you? So I got 27. [00:13:29] Speaker B: That's a success. [00:13:30] Speaker F: Oh, good. [00:13:31] Speaker B: So Zafir is making his way through the rubble using his shadow teleporting abilities and his nimbleness to just move through. [00:13:37] Speaker F: I was not praying at the time. [00:13:40] Speaker B: Who's up next? [00:13:41] Speaker C: I have an idea. And you're gonna shoot it down, but can I use mystic crafting to, like, know where a weak spot is that I can, like, cause to fall and, like, make a better path, if that makes sense. [00:13:59] Speaker B: I'm not gonna shoot that down. That's a good idea. [00:14:01] Speaker C: Okay, thank you. Ooh, that was really high.38. [00:14:08] Speaker B: That's a critical success. And we'll count towards two successes for getting down the street. So we need one more success, and you guys will have made your way up through the street and onto the main roadway. [00:14:17] Speaker C: Einar, Roll. Athletics. [00:14:20] Speaker D: Einar's dead. [00:14:22] Speaker F: He's not dead. He never existed. [00:14:24] Speaker D: I wish. [00:14:25] Speaker A: My athletics is zero. [00:14:27] Speaker B: Neros. Were you wanting to intimidate the rebel? [00:14:32] Speaker D: I can age you. [00:14:33] Speaker E: I don't know. I don't think that would help. [00:14:36] Speaker F: Charm the rubble. [00:14:37] Speaker E: Can I charm it? [00:14:38] Speaker F: You're so smooth. [00:14:39] Speaker C: Make a monkey. [00:14:40] Speaker B: To quote a certain long haired gm, you can certainly try. [00:14:45] Speaker E: I'm not going to do that. [00:14:46] Speaker C: Make a rioting monkey on the rubble. [00:14:49] Speaker A: Walk across it dandily. [00:14:51] Speaker E: Do you want me to do a stage statement? Strut while walking through this rubble? [00:14:55] Speaker A: Show that rebel who's boss. [00:14:56] Speaker C: It'll fascinate the the villagers. [00:14:59] Speaker A: You'll fascinate the dude stealing the vase follows. [00:15:03] Speaker D: I have a plus 21 to athletics. [00:15:05] Speaker C: Why didn't you do that? [00:15:07] Speaker D: I have a 20 in religion. [00:15:08] Speaker E: I don't. [00:15:09] Speaker D: I thought it'd be funny. [00:15:10] Speaker E: Okay. I don't have. I have a plus two in acrobatics and a plus two on athletics. [00:15:15] Speaker D: I could just push rubble out of our way. [00:15:17] Speaker E: And a plus two to survival. [00:15:18] Speaker F: What's your highest skill? [00:15:19] Speaker D: Skill? [00:15:19] Speaker E: Diplomacy. [00:15:20] Speaker B: Yeah. Validation. With the rubble, you can go ahead and try to maneuver the rubble and push it out of the way and clear a path. [00:15:27] Speaker D: 27. [00:15:28] Speaker B: That's a success. So overall, I think the way that this looks is Zafir is kind of like squeezing ahead, using his shadow teleportation to move ahead. Calling out points that alward is like, okay, if we break that, it'll clear some path. Careful, that part's about to fall. And Val shifts things around and makes a clear path for everyone to make their way through. [00:15:48] Speaker F: Don't forget, she was praying at first. And then when she clunked her head, she was like, maybe I should out of frustration. I think Pharasma's telling me to do something. [00:16:00] Speaker B: And you make your way to the main road. There's still kind of panic, people running here and there, but not enough people to cause any difficulty with moving your way forward. And you've got a clear shot to the bridge into the Jillburg. [00:16:14] Speaker C: Let's go. [00:16:15] Speaker F: As he specified the bridge, it might break underneath us. So who should we put as a sacrifice? [00:16:20] Speaker C: Me. [00:16:21] Speaker F: Okay. Actually, no, that would be a good idea. Let's put outward first. [00:16:25] Speaker B: As you're approaching the bridge, you see seven figures standing on the bridge. [00:16:30] Speaker E: Just figures. [00:16:32] Speaker B: Most of them appear very human. [00:16:34] Speaker E: Most do they all look like they're related? [00:16:38] Speaker B: It's hard to tell because right now you're about 300ft away. [00:16:42] Speaker F: Okay, I've got pretty good eyes. [00:16:44] Speaker B: Make a perception, Jackson. [00:16:45] Speaker F: Okay, sure. [00:16:48] Speaker C: Guidance. [00:16:49] Speaker F: Hey, I don't even. [00:16:50] Speaker C: You get a plus one. [00:16:51] Speaker F: I don't even need it, man. That's 32, I guess. Plus one. [00:16:55] Speaker D: 35. [00:16:59] Speaker F: I told you math is hard. [00:17:01] Speaker D: I can't do math, Zephyr. [00:17:04] Speaker B: I don't know what's up with your dice today. But all of them but one do look related to you. [00:17:09] Speaker D: To me? Is it fair to me? [00:17:11] Speaker B: Is it? [00:17:12] Speaker F: Cause they're all shadowy to you? [00:17:14] Speaker B: They all appear to be related to each other. To each other. [00:17:20] Speaker D: The boulder. [00:17:24] Speaker B: There's one that's like a dark skinned elf. [00:17:27] Speaker F: I relay that information. [00:17:31] Speaker D: I will start running forward. [00:17:32] Speaker E: 32 plus 1, 35. [00:17:35] Speaker C: I'm gonna follow Val closely behind. [00:17:39] Speaker B: All right. So you guys are just making a beeline for the bridge? [00:17:42] Speaker D: Yeah, I mean, we gotta be fast. [00:17:44] Speaker B: Okay. [00:17:45] Speaker C: Gotta go fast. Oh, that's a lot of red tokens. I don't like that. [00:17:50] Speaker F: Don't worry. They're all related to me. [00:17:53] Speaker B: As you get up to the edge of the bridge, you just hear a clear voice yelling out, stop. In the name of love, in the name of Arid. [00:18:02] Speaker E: He's gonna sing an aria. [00:18:04] Speaker F: Is this for realsies? In the name of Arid or. [00:18:09] Speaker B: Yeah, stop. In the name of Arid. [00:18:11] Speaker C: I don't recognize your authority. And we keep moving. [00:18:14] Speaker B: If you do not stop, we will attack you. [00:18:17] Speaker A: Reject reality and substitute our own. [00:18:21] Speaker C: Aerid has no legal claim on this land. [00:18:24] Speaker B: Not yet. Yet he doesn't. [00:18:25] Speaker C: Then why would I stop? [00:18:27] Speaker E: If we keep you come at me, bro. [00:18:30] Speaker C: We've been hit before. That's not very threatening. [00:18:33] Speaker B: In that case. Roll. Initiative. [00:18:35] Speaker D: This is your opportunity to stand down. [00:18:37] Speaker E: Oh, that was a sucky moment. [00:18:38] Speaker B: I like standing up. [00:18:40] Speaker C: I'm foregoing my initiative. [00:18:41] Speaker D: Roll. [00:18:41] Speaker F: This is the best way to initiative. I'm trying to get better at this. I gotta say, I just rolled a natural 20. [00:18:46] Speaker E: Aw, it's wasted. [00:18:48] Speaker B: What's your total Zephyr? [00:18:50] Speaker F: I'm gonna say 37 if it's perception. [00:18:52] Speaker B: All right. [00:18:53] Speaker E: Are you sure? [00:18:54] Speaker C: Yes. [00:18:55] Speaker F: Because 20 plus 17 is 37. [00:18:57] Speaker E: Good job. [00:18:58] Speaker D: Can I carry over using athletics for the running? [00:19:01] Speaker B: Sure. [00:19:02] Speaker C: I am breaking ties with a nice 35. [00:19:05] Speaker D: All right, 40. [00:19:07] Speaker B: Uber 20. [00:19:09] Speaker A: I rolled a three. [00:19:10] Speaker B: And Neros, 18. [00:19:12] Speaker C: Ooh, I'm glad you like going last in Initiative. [00:19:16] Speaker B: Yahoo. [00:19:17] Speaker E: Don't smack that hand very hard. It hurts. [00:19:20] Speaker B: All right, Val, you're up first. [00:19:21] Speaker D: What? [00:19:22] Speaker F: Yeah. You're first. [00:19:23] Speaker E: It's your first. [00:19:23] Speaker D: You rolled a 40. [00:19:27] Speaker E: Look at that. Initiative tracker, I think. [00:19:29] Speaker D: I'm not gonna spend an action on. [00:19:31] Speaker E: Sigurd, but she could. [00:19:33] Speaker D: No, I will. I'm gonna spend an action on Sigurd and move her. Wait. Oh, wait, hold on. Hold. She was medium, right? [00:19:41] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:19:42] Speaker C: She was like. [00:19:43] Speaker D: Okay. Another thing to know about Sigurd. She is now large size. She's bigger than Inar was. [00:19:51] Speaker F: Good thing Einar isn't here anymore. [00:19:53] Speaker D: Now she takes up four squares in a map. [00:19:57] Speaker E: She's a big bird. [00:19:58] Speaker D: She's large. [00:19:59] Speaker E: That's a lot of chicken. [00:20:01] Speaker D: Yeah. So as she comes down. [00:20:02] Speaker C: Look at all the size of that drumstick. [00:20:06] Speaker D: Yeah. As she kind of comes down, she's kind of like a shadow washes over us as she comes forward, flying by me. [00:20:12] Speaker F: Jeez, she could have carried us over all of that rubble. [00:20:15] Speaker E: She really could have. [00:20:17] Speaker C: With like no check. [00:20:18] Speaker D: And she's gonna do a two action thing. She's gonna come in right there behind the archer on the right, kind of next to the group. [00:20:26] Speaker B: And now is she at like above the bridge or on level with them? [00:20:31] Speaker D: She's gonna be swooping down at them. [00:20:33] Speaker B: Okay. [00:20:33] Speaker D: Cause she has a new ability called Flyby Attack. And she can just fly and make a talent strike on the way. At any time. I see the names like Watchmage and Knight and Legbreaker, they just. [00:20:48] Speaker B: They help me keep track of which one can do what. [00:20:51] Speaker D: So Sigrun's gonna just make a talon stack against that one watch mage with the bow. [00:20:56] Speaker B: Okay. [00:20:57] Speaker D: They seem kinda mean.35. [00:21:01] Speaker B: That is a critical. [00:21:03] Speaker D: Oh, I like that. That is. She does more damage now too, than she used to. 14 times 2. 28. And then as part of that flyby, she'll move off the bridge. [00:21:19] Speaker B: Okay. This guy, the leg breaker with the big mace, swipes at Sigurd as she's flying away. [00:21:26] Speaker C: Rude. [00:21:27] Speaker D: I like the retcon. That. [00:21:30] Speaker B: Yeah. 36. [00:21:31] Speaker D: That's a hit. [00:21:32] Speaker C: Are you close enough to do your thing? [00:21:35] Speaker D: Yeah. Repent or refuse? [00:21:38] Speaker B: Oh, I'm gonna repent on that. I'm just gonna. Just not. Not. Yeah, yeah. Not. [00:21:44] Speaker D: Okay, cool. Oh, sorry. I'm attacking with my glaze. [00:21:48] Speaker B: Okay. [00:21:49] Speaker D: I'm making a strike for a 38. [00:21:54] Speaker B: That'S also a crit. [00:21:55] Speaker D: Oh, and this is against the witch mage, by the way. [00:21:59] Speaker B: Yes. [00:22:00] Speaker D: Oh, wait, no. The cold gets doubled too. So 40 damage and then deadly adds four. So 44 damage. [00:22:09] Speaker B: Important question. [00:22:10] Speaker D: Yes. [00:22:10] Speaker B: Was this non lethal? [00:22:12] Speaker D: Yes. [00:22:14] Speaker B: Then this watch mage that you are attacking just collapses to the ground unconscious. [00:22:20] Speaker D: Oh, all right. Your false king won't save you. Surrender. Nah. [00:22:25] Speaker E: Surrender Nah. [00:22:27] Speaker D: That'll be the end of my thing. [00:22:29] Speaker F: Surrender? Nah. [00:22:30] Speaker D: Dare you make fun of my accent. [00:22:32] Speaker F: I need to know something. Can I use draw the lightning with my bow? [00:22:38] Speaker B: Yeah, you can use your bow. [00:22:39] Speaker F: So that's cool. I guess that's what I'm gonna do. Sparing you the the cloudy details immediately. Just a cloud appears in the air and I hold my bow up. Can I Do spell strike. Withdraw the lightning. [00:22:56] Speaker B: It targets. [00:22:57] Speaker C: Yeah. Because it targets one creature. [00:22:59] Speaker F: And so with everything that was just. [00:23:01] Speaker A: Said, I use one problem. [00:23:04] Speaker B: Oh, no, never mind. I was gonna say there's a problem here, but then I just realized there is not a problem. One caveat that tries to. The lightning is supposed to have is the target has to be a creature that's like higher up than you or is taller than you. [00:23:18] Speaker F: Precisely. [00:23:19] Speaker B: All of these guys are normal height humans. [00:23:21] Speaker F: I was about to say no. That's why I chose this. Because I'm shorter than everyone. [00:23:26] Speaker D: That's so funny. [00:23:28] Speaker F: So, yeah. The cloud is made, the bow is drawn. The lightning's drawn, and the bow flies. [00:23:36] Speaker B: And who is the lightning striking? [00:23:38] Speaker F: The bow doesn't fly, the arrow flies. How far is that mage killer do you think he's within? 120ft. [00:23:43] Speaker A: If you get 120ft, you are fine. [00:23:46] Speaker B: Yeah, you would start running out of space when you left the map. [00:23:51] Speaker C: Okay, cool. [00:23:52] Speaker D: The map is your range. [00:23:53] Speaker F: So let's hope I hit now. [00:23:56] Speaker B: Because it is stormy weather. This will increase the damage by +2d12. [00:24:01] Speaker F: I didn't even know it was stormy weather. So that is a 29 shooting. [00:24:08] Speaker B: And as you shoot, your target kind of twists a little bit to try to avoid the arrow, but it still strikes. True. It is not a crit, but it hits. [00:24:19] Speaker D: Oh, they got some ability that they tried to use. [00:24:22] Speaker F: That is eight damage from the arrow and two from fire. And then what does the draw the lightning do for? [00:24:29] Speaker B: I made a reflex save with a 24. [00:24:33] Speaker F: My DC is 28. [00:24:35] Speaker B: Okay, so a regular fail against the draw of the lightning. [00:24:38] Speaker F: So that does 5D 12s. How do you know I have the spell? Did you say 5D12? [00:24:46] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. Because it's stormy, boy. [00:24:48] Speaker A: It's normally 3D12. [00:24:50] Speaker D: Has he ever rolled that many dice before? [00:24:51] Speaker F: Sophie, not the D12. I think I've got enough. [00:24:55] Speaker D: Actually. Keep your dirty dice to yourself. [00:24:57] Speaker B: There might be a reason why, having played Omegas in the past, I had extra D12s in my dice for you. [00:25:04] Speaker F: I'm giving. I'm using the die that you gave me. [00:25:06] Speaker B: I played Amigus in a giant campaign draw. The lightning was very useful. [00:25:12] Speaker F: 24. The calculator confirmed. [00:25:15] Speaker B: All right, Zafir, you have one action left. [00:25:18] Speaker F: Recharge. [00:25:19] Speaker C: All right, lward, how far away is the group? [00:25:24] Speaker B: The closest to you would be 65ft away. [00:25:30] Speaker C: Oh, well. Poo. Can you move me 20ft forward so. [00:25:36] Speaker B: Just like a tenth of the way down the bridge? [00:25:38] Speaker C: Yeah, so I'm Gonna cast an amped telekinetic rend. And that's gonna give me three five foot circles. So I'm gonna hit all of them. They all need to make a save of a sort. Fortitude. [00:25:51] Speaker B: Right? [00:25:53] Speaker D: Nice. [00:25:58] Speaker B: This is why game masters don't run encounters with a ton of creatures. Okay, what is your D.C. 29? 29. All right. The one that's been struck by Zafir's lightning gets a critical success. [00:26:14] Speaker C: Lame. [00:26:14] Speaker B: The armored combatant in the very back here got a regular success. And the guy in the very back here who's been shouting stop in the name of a got a critical fail. Everyone else just got a regular fail. Regular fails on the two guys with hammers. One of the knights got a regular fail. The other one got a regular success. Critical fail on the leader. And the one who got zapped by lightning got a critical success. Success. [00:26:39] Speaker C: The leader is stunned one because he critically failed. [00:26:42] Speaker D: Nice. [00:26:43] Speaker C: Since I amped it. [00:26:50] Speaker B: Dropping everything, it's fine. [00:26:53] Speaker C: So that's gonna be 11 damage. [00:26:55] Speaker B: Okay. [00:26:56] Speaker C: Oh, wait, it's gonna be more than 11 damage. I'm stupid. Because they get dealt both slashing and bludgeoning, so that's 11 slashing. I forgot about that. [00:27:07] Speaker D: Oh, we're just gonna kill them all. [00:27:09] Speaker C: I hope not. That would be awful. And then 10 bludgeoning. [00:27:13] Speaker B: Okay. Their leader is, like, went from being a little bit scraped up to nearly dead. [00:27:18] Speaker C: Okay, cool. [00:27:19] Speaker B: You, you good? Did a good chunk on all of them. The only one who's passed a threshold I would tell you about is the guy in the back who went from pretty okay to almost dead. [00:27:29] Speaker C: Good to hear. [00:27:30] Speaker D: Nice. [00:27:31] Speaker C: I'm glad I didn't kill anybody. Alward still has yet to take a life, to my knowledge. [00:27:35] Speaker F: If you think that Alward's taken a life, please let us know. [00:27:40] Speaker C: Press one. [00:27:42] Speaker B: All right. It is the armored guy in the back who succeeded his saving throw. It's his turn now. He moves up right up next to Val, spends an action to raise his shield, and then swings his bastard sword. [00:27:55] Speaker D: That is a little rude, first of all. [00:27:59] Speaker B: Second of all, it's a 37. [00:28:01] Speaker D: That doesn't hit. [00:28:02] Speaker B: That does not hit. [00:28:03] Speaker D: No, that definitely hits. Yeah, my AC is 30. Yeah, that hits. [00:28:06] Speaker B: I was like, how did you get an AC over 37? [00:28:09] Speaker D: Don't worry about it. [00:28:10] Speaker A: A wish. [00:28:12] Speaker B: All right, and that is 14 slashing damage. [00:28:15] Speaker D: So I have a resistance to slashing of two. So I'll take those two back. [00:28:21] Speaker B: Okay, next up, it's going to be this guy with the big clubs. Turn. Or this lady with the big club, actually. So now Val had charged down the bridge. This lady with the big club moves up behind Val. So she's in between Val and the rest of the party now. [00:28:38] Speaker D: Thank you. [00:28:39] Speaker B: And she's going to just swing her maul up over her head and then try to bring it down at Val's legs. [00:28:47] Speaker D: No, thank you. [00:28:48] Speaker C: Is that the leg breaker? [00:28:49] Speaker B: Maybe. [00:28:50] Speaker D: I like my legs intact. [00:28:52] Speaker B: A 31 to hit. [00:28:53] Speaker D: What do you think about your knees? I love my knees. Don't touch them. [00:28:57] Speaker B: All right, so you are going to take. [00:28:59] Speaker F: I don't have any knees. I have nephews. [00:29:01] Speaker B: 13 bludgeoning damage. [00:29:02] Speaker D: 13 bludgeoning. [00:29:04] Speaker B: And the force of the hammer sweeps your legs out from under you, knocking you prone. And also just the shattering, the shuddering pain of the hammer gives you. Clumsy one. [00:29:15] Speaker D: Just taking a regular hit against their hammer. [00:29:18] Speaker B: It's not a regular hit. It was a special ability. [00:29:21] Speaker D: Oh. [00:29:22] Speaker B: Now FYI, this is not good for your legs. As long as you are clumsy. This lasts one minute unless counteracted some other way. You will also take a five foot penalty to your speed and have weakness. Five to the leg breaker strikes. Okay, but that is her whole turn. It's now the captain at the back who is shouting out orders. She's gonna just put her sword away and pull out a crossbow and shoot at Sigurd. [00:29:52] Speaker D: That's rude. [00:29:53] Speaker B: With a. With a 14. [00:29:56] Speaker D: That's a critical fail. [00:29:58] Speaker B: Oh, she's sad. She will use her last action to reload the crossbow. It's the other knight's turn. [00:30:10] Speaker D: Is that other knight or that leg breaker gonna flank and beat me? All right. I'm back to being the only melee character. [00:30:18] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:30:18] Speaker B: Yeah. He can make it. [00:30:19] Speaker D: Maybe I shouldn't have gone so far forward. [00:30:21] Speaker B: The other knight just comes barreling up to Alward. As he does, he puts his shield on his back and two hands his sword and just runs up and just brings his sword two handed down on Alward. [00:30:34] Speaker C: You know, I would normally be mad, but with what I just did, that makes a lot of sense. [00:30:38] Speaker D: They have a lot of movement. [00:30:39] Speaker B: You want to be mad? Hey, guess what, Sven? These guys have built into their stat block. The ability to switch from sword and shield to two handed sword as a single action. [00:30:52] Speaker D: Wait, how. How much movement? [00:30:56] Speaker B: Crap. This is. This is bonkers for Einar. He can stride and switch from sword and shield to two handed sword for one action. [00:31:04] Speaker D: That's amazing. [00:31:05] Speaker C: Wait, but can he grip it with two hands with one action? [00:31:09] Speaker B: Yes. It's exactly what Einar wanted. And it's not available to PCs. [00:31:16] Speaker C: That's some garbage. [00:31:17] Speaker A: That is garbage. [00:31:19] Speaker B: Regardless, he's gonna swing two handed at Alward. [00:31:22] Speaker C: That makes sense. [00:31:22] Speaker D: Sorry, Albert. [00:31:23] Speaker C: Yeah, I'm probably gonna die. It's okay. [00:31:26] Speaker B: 24. [00:31:27] Speaker C: That doesn't hit me. I have a 27. [00:31:30] Speaker D: Nice job, Alward. Yeah. [00:31:32] Speaker B: Now he's just standing there with his hands on both of on his sword and he kind of looks at his shield and goes. Oh. But then it goes to the other leg breaker's turn and that one's going to move into. [00:31:44] Speaker D: Do I have a weakness to this one as well? [00:31:46] Speaker B: No. [00:31:47] Speaker D: Okay. Just the one leg breaker. [00:31:49] Speaker B: It's. It's vaguely written, but I'm going to assume that it's only them. [00:31:53] Speaker D: Okay. No, no, my other leg. My other knee is in danger. [00:32:01] Speaker B: I'm gonna do that. [00:32:02] Speaker D: No, wait, the other leg. [00:32:07] Speaker B: All right. Against your off guard AC. [00:32:10] Speaker D: A 27 that misses my off guard AC is 28. [00:32:14] Speaker B: So the hammer just swings down just like shatters a cobble. [00:32:17] Speaker D: Very protective of my good leg right now. [00:32:21] Speaker B: That's fair. That's fair. Uwe, it's your turn. [00:32:27] Speaker A: Been sitting here trying to decide what I can do. [00:32:33] Speaker B: I'm enjoying how ganged up on Val looks like on the map right now. She's got her back to the wall of the bridge and then just enemies on all sides. [00:32:43] Speaker A: I'll risk it for the biscuit. [00:32:46] Speaker C: Brad, get that biscuit. [00:32:48] Speaker A: Give me a ten foot emanation down below Val as Uver casts animated assault. [00:32:58] Speaker C: Nice. [00:32:58] Speaker B: An uber classic. [00:33:01] Speaker A: I need a basic reflex from everybody that's inside it, including the one that's down. [00:33:06] Speaker D: Okay, I'll roll. [00:33:07] Speaker A: Because I am not as kind as foul. [00:33:10] Speaker D: Oh, you're gonna murder that guy. [00:33:12] Speaker A: Yeah, he's gonna die because of the spell anyway. [00:33:14] Speaker D: Oh man, that's rude. I. I kept him alive and everything. [00:33:17] Speaker B: I don't think Uvair has the option to not hit that person. [00:33:20] Speaker A: I don't. [00:33:20] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:33:21] Speaker D: Doesn't care about life. [00:33:22] Speaker B: What is your D.C. 29. 29. All right, so the mace wielding one on the bottom got a regular success. The knight got a regular failure and the downed one got a crit failure. I think we'll just say the downed one is done. [00:33:39] Speaker A: Say so as 2d10. [00:33:41] Speaker C: What's being animated in this area? The little pebbles. [00:33:44] Speaker A: That cobblestone that got shattered. [00:33:46] Speaker C: That's fair. I didn't get that area. [00:33:49] Speaker F: Comes out of the ground and he. [00:33:50] Speaker A: Just goes 17 total. [00:33:53] Speaker D: All right, nice. That's a respectable number. [00:33:56] Speaker A: I rolled a 7 and a 10. [00:33:58] Speaker F: I don't respect it. [00:33:59] Speaker B: And that gets the knight that was hit that was pressuring Val to bloodied. Now it's the one that was struck by Zafir's lightning's turn. [00:34:08] Speaker D: He's a mage. I wonder who he's gonna target. [00:34:10] Speaker F: I'm not a mage. I'm a magus. There's a difference. [00:34:13] Speaker B: This one breaks into a sprint, just runs the length of the bridge, and as she's doing so, she just pulls back a rapier and just stabs it straight at Uvair as she approaches him. [00:34:26] Speaker F: He's a lady. I don't kill ladies. Except for the no, I didn't kill boots. [00:34:31] Speaker B: Uvair. That's a 28 to hit. [00:34:32] Speaker A: Oh, jest. [00:34:34] Speaker B: You take 16 piercing damage and two mental damage as just like, your brain starts, like, twisting and having difficulty focusing. [00:34:44] Speaker C: I feel like me and Uber should have a resistance to mental damage due to how often we can say for this. [00:34:50] Speaker B: No, that's part of the weapon attack. [00:34:52] Speaker D: Oh, like I called. [00:34:53] Speaker B: And then she's going to stab again. [00:34:56] Speaker D: Whoa, whoa. [00:34:58] Speaker A: With that with a penalty. [00:35:00] Speaker B: Yes. [00:35:01] Speaker D: She moved and struck very well. [00:35:03] Speaker A: She did move a lot. [00:35:05] Speaker D: Oh, she's a mage killer. That makes sense that she could, like, run really far and attack Neros. [00:35:12] Speaker E: How far away is val from me? [00:35:14] Speaker B: 50Ft. [00:35:15] Speaker E: Gosh darn it. Okay, so I'm gonna use a feat called quickened casting. [00:35:22] Speaker C: Nice. [00:35:22] Speaker F: Sounds cool, huh? [00:35:24] Speaker E: It's once a day. I can cast a spell for one action instead of two, as long as it's two ranks lower than my highest spell slot. [00:35:33] Speaker D: Oh, cool. [00:35:34] Speaker E: And then I'm going to use reach for an action and then cast haste on bow. [00:35:41] Speaker B: So with quickened casting or with reach casting? Both of them specify. You do this to multi modify your next action, which is a spell. So you can't put two modifications on what they're specifically trying to avoid. That of saying, well, I'll reach and quicken this spell. [00:35:59] Speaker E: Fine. I'll use reach and then cast haste on Val. [00:36:03] Speaker D: The pure shade she is throwing at. [00:36:05] Speaker E: Me because what I wanted to do was move, but it's fine. [00:36:09] Speaker D: How far? Where did you want to move up? [00:36:12] Speaker B: As long as you move at least 20ft up, then you'd be in range to cast it without reach. [00:36:16] Speaker E: I don't want to be between those two people, though. [00:36:20] Speaker B: You could just move all the way up here and just run right past them. All right. [00:36:24] Speaker E: No, because they probably have reactions. [00:36:28] Speaker D: Leg breaker does. [00:36:30] Speaker E: It's fine. I'm just gonna move on because I'm mad. [00:36:33] Speaker B: Okay, so it's reach haste. [00:36:35] Speaker E: Yep. [00:36:36] Speaker B: All right. Val you are hasted. Before we move into the next round with Val's turn, I've made two errors. One is in your favor. One is not in your favor. Would you like me to correct both of them or keep both of them the way that they are? [00:36:49] Speaker D: Correct them both. Let's. [00:36:51] Speaker B: All right, Val, when I had the second leg breaker swing at you and I asked for your off guard ac, did you take into account the minus one status penalty for being clumsy? [00:37:01] Speaker D: I forgot I was clumsy. No, that was a meat to beat it. You can hit me. It's okay. [00:37:06] Speaker B: That was my error. That was not in your favor. [00:37:08] Speaker D: Wait, but it's been like a whole like 10 turns. [00:37:10] Speaker C: You told him to correct. [00:37:11] Speaker D: Yeah, he can correct it, but doesn't mean he has to take action on it because it's been like it's been. [00:37:16] Speaker E: Correcting means taking action on it. [00:37:18] Speaker C: Sam, what's the correction in his favor. [00:37:21] Speaker B: In. In our favor. The captain of the guard was stunned. He could not have reloaded the the crossbow. Oh, haha. [00:37:28] Speaker D: This definitely was a devil's question. [00:37:31] Speaker B: That's why I asked you before. I told you what they were. [00:37:33] Speaker D: All right, how much damage did I take? [00:37:35] Speaker B: 15 bludgeoning damage. [00:37:36] Speaker D: Okay, is my other leg broken? [00:37:42] Speaker B: Yes. So you're like, haha, you missed. And then the haste runs through your body and you go, oh no, that wasn't a miss. I was just a little known. [00:37:51] Speaker D: Okay, cool. [00:37:52] Speaker B: So it does not stack any of the penalties. You're not like double clumsy or anything, but you will be weak to that leg breaker strikes as well. [00:37:59] Speaker D: Okay, I'm gonna cast land hands on myself. [00:38:06] Speaker F: It's so selfish. [00:38:08] Speaker D: And heal 30 hit points. [00:38:09] Speaker B: Now that does have the manipulate trait. [00:38:11] Speaker D: It does. You're right. [00:38:13] Speaker B: So you know that knight that's standing next to you and how you've got a guy on either side of you with big hammers. [00:38:20] Speaker D: Yep. [00:38:22] Speaker B: Let's go counterclockwise, shall we? [00:38:25] Speaker D: Does the thing go off first? Does the spell go first? [00:38:29] Speaker B: If it's a crit, it's disrupted. So I believe that this resolves first. [00:38:33] Speaker D: Cool. [00:38:34] Speaker B: All right, here we go. Swing number one is a 20. [00:38:39] Speaker D: Nope. [00:38:40] Speaker B: Swing number two. This one's from the knight. Is a 27 that meets. [00:38:45] Speaker D: It beats it. Because of clumsy. [00:38:46] Speaker B: Yep. So that is 11 slashing damage. And you have that resistance. Two to slashing. [00:38:52] Speaker D: Yep. [00:38:53] Speaker B: And then the final leg breaker, who just joined the fight. Oh, a 34. [00:38:58] Speaker D: That's a hit. [00:39:00] Speaker B: And that's 20 bludgeoning damage. Okay, so with the weakness, five. So 25 total. [00:39:04] Speaker D: Okay. So lay on hands is pretty much worthless. That's okay, because I get an AC bonus from it. [00:39:11] Speaker B: In my mind's eye, this is just like a long shot. As Val's like, I'll lay on hands. It cuts to a long shot and we're just like seeing over the wall of the bridge as they all just. [00:39:22] Speaker D: Then I stand up and they can't. [00:39:26] Speaker B: Do anything to stop that. [00:39:28] Speaker D: Then Sigurd is gonna move here for free. Because if I don't spend an action on Sigurd, she now gets one action of her own. [00:39:38] Speaker E: Where's here? [00:39:39] Speaker D: Oh, right to the bottom of the. [00:39:41] Speaker C: South leg breaker in the middle of. [00:39:43] Speaker D: The animated swarm to the north leg breaker so I can flank with them. Yeah. And then I'm gonna attack the north leg breaker. A22 to hit their off guard AC. [00:39:58] Speaker B: That's a hit. [00:39:59] Speaker D: Oh, total is 15 damage. [00:40:06] Speaker B: All right. And that one is bloodied. [00:40:08] Speaker D: Oh, and I was hasted, which means I have another attack. [00:40:11] Speaker B: Yep, yep. [00:40:14] Speaker D: Oh, much better. 29 against off guard. 21 points of damage. [00:40:24] Speaker B: All right. They are not looking good. Could they look worse if you hit them again? [00:40:29] Speaker D: Okay, fine. [00:40:30] Speaker B: Zafir, it's your turn. [00:40:32] Speaker F: So you know that that mage killer. I'm gonna shoot an arrow at it, all right? With an extra bit of spice. So hopefully it hits oregano. Does a 33 hit. [00:40:46] Speaker B: That is a hit. [00:40:48] Speaker F: That is seven piercing six fire. And the spell that comes behind you can't really see when it hits, but it is torturous trauma for Almost min. Damage 9. But then don't I get to hit with a little bit of lightning? [00:41:07] Speaker B: Yes. Now do I get a save for torture trauma? [00:41:10] Speaker F: Oh, that's a good point. I believe it is a basic fortitude. [00:41:15] Speaker B: 35. [00:41:16] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:41:16] Speaker B: Okay, so she'll take half damage for torturous trauma. [00:41:20] Speaker F: That's fine. I mean, that's half of me. [00:41:23] Speaker A: Hey, wait a minute. Are you making a range attack? [00:41:24] Speaker F: I am. [00:41:25] Speaker A: Shadow projectile. [00:41:26] Speaker D: Hey, hey. [00:41:28] Speaker C: What is that Projectile? [00:41:30] Speaker F: I don't know what that does. [00:41:31] Speaker A: I create an illusory duplicate of your out of my allies ranged attack. You are within 2020ft of me. The target has to make a will. Save 29. [00:41:39] Speaker D: Please. [00:41:40] Speaker F: I missed. [00:41:41] Speaker A: Not you. [00:41:42] Speaker B: Now this is where things get interesting. She kind of sees Zafir shooting an arrow, notices that Uvair starts casting a spell, and she tries stabbing at Uvaire with her rapier, trying to disrupt his spell. [00:41:56] Speaker F: Do all of them have the. What's it called? [00:41:59] Speaker D: Reactive strike. [00:41:59] Speaker F: Reactive strike. [00:42:01] Speaker B: UVAIR. 27 to hit. [00:42:03] Speaker A: Yeah, it hits. [00:42:05] Speaker B: So with that Hit. She's gonna go ahead and deal damage. And it disrupts your spell on just a hit? Yep. [00:42:11] Speaker C: Oh, my goodness. [00:42:13] Speaker D: I mean, they don't call her let Mage Killer for nothing. [00:42:16] Speaker A: Do I lose that spell? [00:42:18] Speaker B: Yes. You take a total of 24 damage. [00:42:21] Speaker A: Oh, she is dying. I'm going to kill her. [00:42:26] Speaker F: Not if I kill her first. [00:42:27] Speaker D: Rivera came back with a vengeance. [00:42:29] Speaker B: Okay, she's bloodied. Okay, good. You have one action left. [00:42:33] Speaker F: Recharge. That's just my default, so if you ever have to ask. [00:42:37] Speaker B: Outward. [00:42:38] Speaker C: Okay, I'm glad I talked to you about this before, because a lot of shenanigans are about to happen. Oh, wait. How do I want to describe this before you start? [00:42:46] Speaker D: You're not allowed to do anything. Time release. [00:42:48] Speaker B: Oh, well, I. I feel like if this were a movie, the screen would split into two separate. Separate tracks. [00:42:56] Speaker C: Right. Okay, but that can't happen because it's not a movie, so how would I do? [00:42:59] Speaker B: All right, audience, this is splitting into two separate screens. We're gonna follow what happens on the left side first. [00:43:06] Speaker C: All right, so on the left side, everyone within 20ft of me needs to make a reflex save. [00:43:12] Speaker B: Let's see. [00:43:13] Speaker D: Oh, no. Sigurd. [00:43:14] Speaker B: That counts. Zafir and Uvair as well. [00:43:17] Speaker C: This is why I'm doing this specifically. [00:43:19] Speaker E: Am I within 20ft of him? [00:43:22] Speaker B: 20Ft of Alward? Just barely. [00:43:26] Speaker E: Oh, barely. [00:43:26] Speaker C: You don't get hit by it this time. What's your DC29? [00:43:30] Speaker D: Sigrun fails. [00:43:32] Speaker C: Sigrun is in it. [00:43:33] Speaker B: Oh, okay. The knight fails. The Magekiller succeeds. [00:43:37] Speaker C: Of course she does. [00:43:39] Speaker F: 36. [00:43:40] Speaker C: Okay, you're fine. You almost critically succeeded. [00:43:42] Speaker A: I'm gonna activate Ancient Blooded. [00:43:45] Speaker C: What's that? [00:43:46] Speaker A: Do I get a plus one status bonus? This is a magical. [00:43:49] Speaker C: Okay. [00:43:50] Speaker A: I critically fail. [00:43:52] Speaker E: Oh, no. So we get Uber back, and now he's going. [00:43:56] Speaker D: Did one of the bad guys fail? [00:43:58] Speaker B: One of them did, yes. [00:43:59] Speaker D: Okay, so Sigurd in the Night failed. [00:44:01] Speaker E: And then Uber critically failed. [00:44:04] Speaker C: He succeeded. [00:44:05] Speaker D: Sophia succeeds. It's a good job, Zephyr. [00:44:08] Speaker A: If it's over 74 damage, I'm down. [00:44:10] Speaker C: So 18. So 36 to you, 18 to the bird in the night, and nine to Zafir. It's gonna be fine. [00:44:19] Speaker B: I'm waiting for the. [00:44:20] Speaker A: I'm waiting for the right side before I add this damage. [00:44:23] Speaker C: Add the damage. It's fine. [00:44:24] Speaker D: Both happen at the same time. [00:44:25] Speaker C: Both happen at the same time. And that was my violent unleash. [00:44:29] Speaker D: Because your psyche broke. [00:44:30] Speaker C: Because my psyche broke. [00:44:32] Speaker D: Poor buddy. [00:44:33] Speaker C: Then I'm going to spend one action to Impose order onto the universe and. [00:44:39] Speaker D: University of Semico will save. [00:44:43] Speaker A: Like you should have a high dc. [00:44:46] Speaker C: Let's do this. And then I'm going to app amp telekinetic Rendigan to hit both the mage killer and the knight. They need to make fortitude saves. [00:44:55] Speaker B: Okay, this is what I get for making such a complicated battle. [00:44:59] Speaker F: It's only complicated for you. [00:45:01] Speaker D: Not that complicated. It's just a lot of dudes. [00:45:03] Speaker B: Both of the knights failed. The mage Killer succeeded. [00:45:07] Speaker C: Wait, I don't. What am I doing? Get these. Get these out of here. They all. Anyone that failed takes. [00:45:14] Speaker D: Whoa. [00:45:15] Speaker C: Because I imposed order on the universe, I no longer roll my damage die. I take the half, which for a D6, it specifically says is five, so. Oh, no, sorry. Four for a D6. [00:45:25] Speaker D: Okay, so. [00:45:26] Speaker C: So 24 plus 10 is 34 damage to whatever failed, and then half of that to whatever succeeded. And I like to imagine as I'm imposing order outwards, like firstly, the reign again is making the symbols around him as his psyches unleashed, and then his. His moats on him start to glow this vibrant color. And people just get hit. [00:45:51] Speaker D: People just get hit. [00:45:53] Speaker A: Including Goober. [00:45:54] Speaker C: And that is what happens on the left side. What happens on the right side is I'm going to unleash my psyche. I'm going to spend one action to time jump. So time freezes. [00:46:08] Speaker D: Are you taking a second turn? [00:46:09] Speaker C: Yes. And I'm going to move down and over by Sigurd Sigourn. And then I'm going to cast amped dancing blade to give Val 2ac. Which one do we want to happen, guys? [00:46:28] Speaker D: The damage one. Not the. Not the other one. The left side left time. [00:46:32] Speaker C: Well, let me ask. How many people died with the damage one, if any? [00:46:35] Speaker B: None of them died, but several got close. [00:46:37] Speaker C: Okay, my vote is for left Uvaire, since you're the one who took the most. How do you feel about that? [00:46:43] Speaker A: If I take the damage, I'm down to 38 Patty feel. Did the two up next to me fail? [00:46:50] Speaker B: The mage killer succeeded on both saves, and the knight up by you failed on both sides. [00:46:55] Speaker D: Mage killer is already bloodied. [00:46:56] Speaker A: I mean, do what you want, man. [00:46:58] Speaker C: No, I'm. I'm asking the group. [00:47:00] Speaker B: Get in the discord. [00:47:01] Speaker A: Giving, Giving. [00:47:03] Speaker C: Hey, Chat. What should I do? [00:47:05] Speaker A: I'll give him the damage. Okay, you don't usually get that. [00:47:10] Speaker C: It's factual. [00:47:11] Speaker D: A pity vote from. [00:47:14] Speaker C: At least you didn't kill him. So the left side happened. So, just to recap, I violently unleashed my psyche, hurting my friends and family. I Forced the universe to go in order to become orderful, to make sense, and did damage to everyone. [00:47:31] Speaker D: Did he get eaten by the dogs? In the right timeline, yeah. [00:47:34] Speaker C: What happened with the one that didn't happen? [00:47:36] Speaker B: As you envision, you know, time and as being like this golden thread, you kind of just imagine that thread in front of you, and you, like, you see it splitting and forking in two. You pick which one you want, and then almost without thinking, just a pair of scissors just snips off the thread you didn't choose. Nice. [00:47:59] Speaker A: There's really Einar's finger as a callback. [00:48:03] Speaker F: If there was a fork in the timeline, could I have picked that one up, too? [00:48:08] Speaker B: So both of those knights are, like, not okay. [00:48:12] Speaker C: You don't say. [00:48:13] Speaker B: No, they're not okay. [00:48:15] Speaker C: You don't say. [00:48:16] Speaker F: I said it twice. [00:48:17] Speaker B: Speaking of both of those knights, the knight that's down by Val, it's his turn. He's not okay. [00:48:23] Speaker D: Give me your best. [00:48:23] Speaker B: He doesn't like this Val standing right here in front of him. Right here, right now. He would rather have val standing about 4, 5ft away from him. [00:48:31] Speaker D: Wait, but that'd be in the water. [00:48:32] Speaker B: He's going to make an athletics. [00:48:33] Speaker D: Oh, no. Wait. [00:48:35] Speaker B: To just shove you over the side of the bridge with a. With a 21. [00:48:40] Speaker D: Dc 30. [00:48:42] Speaker B: He almost crit fan. [00:48:43] Speaker D: Yeah. 30. Well, you can't move me. [00:48:48] Speaker B: In that case, he's going to just, like, glower at you through the slit in his helmet, flower back, and bring down an intimidating style strike. [00:48:56] Speaker D: Oh, no. [00:48:57] Speaker B: With a 27. [00:48:59] Speaker D: That does not hit me. [00:49:00] Speaker B: No, he said he should be. He's. He's ashamed of himself. [00:49:05] Speaker D: He should be. And. [00:49:06] Speaker B: And the leg breaker to the north, the one that you've got flanked with cigarettes, she just reaches out, puts a hand on her shoulder. It's like. It's okay, buddy. [00:49:11] Speaker D: No, don't break my leg. [00:49:12] Speaker B: We've got this. And she swings her legs. [00:49:17] Speaker D: I just. I'm, like, hardly. I'm, like, struggling to stand on my poor legs. [00:49:21] Speaker C: Aren't you? [00:49:21] Speaker A: Probably. Oh, no, you're not. [00:49:22] Speaker D: You stood up. I stood up. I'm standing on, like, shattered kneecaps. [00:49:26] Speaker B: Who has the crit fumble cards? I do. [00:49:30] Speaker A: It's okay, buddy. [00:49:31] Speaker C: What kind of attack? [00:49:33] Speaker B: She's got a maul melee. [00:49:36] Speaker C: They had second thoughts about attacking Val. They are sick in three. [00:49:42] Speaker B: So she's like, it's the replay. [00:49:44] Speaker D: It's okay, buddy. [00:49:45] Speaker B: We got this. And she looks down at Val's legs, and it's just like. [00:49:53] Speaker D: And the big bird looming behind Noob. [00:49:56] Speaker B: Honestly. I'm gonna go ahead and say with her remaining two actions, she's just gonna rich over the side of the bridge to get that sick and try to bring that sicken down. [00:50:05] Speaker D: Don't you act like that. You did this to me. [00:50:10] Speaker B: That's a good day on the job. Okay, so for her first action, she's gonna try to just wretch over the side of the bridge. [00:50:18] Speaker A: Her second action. [00:50:19] Speaker D: Thank you. [00:50:20] Speaker A: Her second action. Thank you very much. [00:50:22] Speaker B: Yes. Her second action. [00:50:23] Speaker D: Did she successfully wretch? [00:50:24] Speaker B: No. If there was a crit fail, she would have crit failed. She dried even. She's gonna try again. That might actually be a crit success. [00:50:36] Speaker D: That'd make up for the failure. [00:50:38] Speaker F: You critically rich? [00:50:39] Speaker D: I critically throw off. Throw up. [00:50:42] Speaker B: On the ship. She regularly wretches. So she's only sick and two. But that was her whole turn. [00:50:50] Speaker D: Amazing. [00:50:50] Speaker F: That was a good a turn well spent. [00:50:52] Speaker B: All right. It's now the captain's turn in the back. She does has not reloaded her crossbow because we corrected that error. [00:51:01] Speaker F: Are all these people women? [00:51:03] Speaker B: A lot of them are. Huh? [00:51:05] Speaker D: Welcome to It's 2025 petite. [00:51:08] Speaker F: It is the Nordic culture here. As discussed previously. [00:51:12] Speaker D: She's fight me, punk. Walk into the animated. She's almost dead. Doesn't it only trigger during the sustain? [00:51:28] Speaker B: Yes. [00:51:28] Speaker D: She can move through. [00:51:29] Speaker B: Okay. So she just runs through it around. [00:51:31] Speaker D: To the corner terrified as she's running through this with like one hit point left. [00:51:36] Speaker F: It's like running through a cloud of wasps. [00:51:38] Speaker D: Just please don't. [00:51:40] Speaker B: With her second action, she's going to raise her shield. And with her last action, take pity. [00:51:45] Speaker D: On this person with broken kneecap. [00:51:47] Speaker E: Why'd you rush in, Belle? [00:51:48] Speaker D: I forgot I was. I was the only melee. Again. [00:51:51] Speaker F: Why is men say only fools rush in? [00:51:53] Speaker E: She looks pretty foolish right now. She's surrounded by people. [00:51:57] Speaker D: I thought you guys would back me up, so. Excuse me. [00:52:02] Speaker C: I tried, but you guys said damage. [00:52:05] Speaker E: Get out of here. [00:52:07] Speaker D: I was playing around. You guys have been doing great with her last. I'm thinking all of this. This is my job. [00:52:13] Speaker B: She's going to. She looks down at her crossbow and is just like. Just pistol whips. Val with the crossbow. [00:52:19] Speaker D: What? That's very insulting. I'd rather her quick draw. [00:52:24] Speaker F: Why don't you just tell her that you're at Eridson as well and be like, yo, I'm one of you. Stop it. [00:52:30] Speaker D: Let me swap sides. Getting beat up. Wait. Stop. I want to join your team. [00:52:37] Speaker E: Val becomes a red Token. [00:52:41] Speaker D: Sigurd, go carry Zephyr up 100ft and drop him. [00:52:46] Speaker B: So she, like, tries to reach through the crowd beating on Val, but can't quite make it with her crossbow spread. [00:52:55] Speaker D: You all need to just stop fighting before you're killed. Surrender, please. [00:53:01] Speaker B: It's now the night up by Alward's turn. [00:53:04] Speaker C: Hey, how you doing, big guy? [00:53:05] Speaker F: It's night. I'll be the judge of that. [00:53:07] Speaker B: I'm not doing okay. I think I'll feel better after I smack you with my big sword. [00:53:12] Speaker C: Or hear me out. Don't do that. [00:53:14] Speaker B: Good idea. Good idea. I'm gonna go flank the dwarf. [00:53:22] Speaker F: What a nice conversation you just had. [00:53:27] Speaker A: What is the reasoning, Jordy Power talked me into it. [00:53:30] Speaker D: Power, who just unleashed his psyche and did all those explosions? He's gonna run away from that. [00:53:37] Speaker B: He's pretty scary. The heck? [00:53:40] Speaker A: How tall is that wall next to. [00:53:41] Speaker C: Me, by the way? [00:53:43] Speaker B: Like, three foot. Dang it. [00:53:44] Speaker C: I guess I should also. [00:53:45] Speaker B: OSHA approved. [00:53:46] Speaker C: You can jump off every spell I cast. My voice is just booming over the battlefield without me moving my lips. [00:53:53] Speaker B: So, Uwe, that's a 22 against your off guard AC. [00:53:59] Speaker A: Miss. [00:54:00] Speaker B: Oh. [00:54:03] Speaker D: Nice. [00:54:03] Speaker B: He's gonna try again. He's feeling lucky. [00:54:05] Speaker D: Okay, do it again, but better. [00:54:07] Speaker B: A 27. [00:54:08] Speaker D: Oh, yep. Hey, how many points did you have against Finn? [00:54:12] Speaker C: 38. [00:54:15] Speaker D: Uvair dies first episode back 12. [00:54:18] Speaker B: Slashing damage. [00:54:19] Speaker D: Ouch. [00:54:21] Speaker A: Could be worse. [00:54:23] Speaker B: What do you want me to do with my last Action man attack again? No, I'm out of action. [00:54:28] Speaker D: That was a rhetorical jump off the bridge. [00:54:31] Speaker B: All right, back down to Val with the second leg breaker. [00:54:34] Speaker D: You can still put the weapon down. And Serenity. [00:54:37] Speaker B: Val, she's got, like, a black. [00:54:40] Speaker D: She's leaning on the rail so she doesn't follow. [00:54:45] Speaker A: How many hit points do you have, Val? [00:54:47] Speaker D: 104. I heal myself. 30 during all of this. [00:54:52] Speaker B: Oh, I'm. [00:54:55] Speaker C: I'm so close to dying. It's unbelievable. How many hit by 100. [00:54:58] Speaker D: It's my legs. My legs are appropriate. That's the problem. [00:55:01] Speaker A: Meanwhile, UVAIR over here is 26 out. [00:55:04] Speaker C: Of 110 you had the option to not take. [00:55:06] Speaker D: I told you, I'm doing my job down here. [00:55:08] Speaker B: Valley, what is your reflex? [00:55:11] Speaker D: DC26. [00:55:14] Speaker B: Ah. So this leg breaker tries to sweep your leg out from under you. [00:55:19] Speaker D: Don't sweep the leg, Johnny. [00:55:22] Speaker B: And it's a 26 with the clumsy. [00:55:24] Speaker D: 25 with the clumsy. [00:55:26] Speaker B: She just barely misses. I imagine Val kind of winces as she has to quickly shift weight from one leg to the other. The leg breaker's like, all right, fine. I Was trying to make this interesting. And then she just picks up the maul and brings it down with a 31. [00:55:44] Speaker D: Oh, that. Yep. That gets me. [00:55:48] Speaker B: That's 18 bludgeoning damage. [00:55:51] Speaker D: Okay. [00:55:51] Speaker B: And one final swing on her last action with another 31. What? [00:55:56] Speaker D: Okay. [00:55:56] Speaker B: Oh, wait, wait. I didn't put a map on the first one. [00:56:01] Speaker D: Oh. [00:56:01] Speaker B: So we'll call that 31 that I just rolled the actual the real 31. And I'm gonna re roll with the final map with a 12. [00:56:08] Speaker D: Okay. Yeah. [00:56:09] Speaker B: Okay, so she only got one hit. I forgot to map off of the trip. [00:56:13] Speaker E: What's map again? [00:56:14] Speaker B: Multi attack penalty. All right, Uber, it's your turn. How are you feeling, buddy? [00:56:21] Speaker A: Not great. But he's angry, so he's gonna look at that mage killer in their eyes. I can't tell if it's a guy or girl. [00:56:31] Speaker B: I'm a woman. [00:56:32] Speaker A: He slaps you, but the. Anyway, he looks at the mage killer, completely ignoring the night. He just takes that hit on the shoulder and shrugs it off. Dissing him, making the man who could kill you bad. Honestly, he's done nothing to me. With a flash of light in his eyes, he looks at the magekiller and saying you have much to learn, but not enough time to learn it. As one, he uses conceal spell. [00:57:10] Speaker B: Nice. Nice. [00:57:11] Speaker A: And two, with that conceal spell, he casts vision of death. [00:57:21] Speaker B: Don't make uber mad. [00:57:23] Speaker A: With disadvantage, we'll save as I spend the hero point that I just used because I'm mad at this thing. [00:57:31] Speaker B: All right. With disadvantage, that's a regular fail. [00:57:38] Speaker A: You're frightened. One, if you survive. [00:57:41] Speaker D: If. [00:57:42] Speaker A: And you take 8D6. [00:57:45] Speaker E: Did you say 8D6? [00:57:46] Speaker C: I did. [00:57:47] Speaker E: Nice. [00:57:48] Speaker D: I'm sorry. Did they fail? [00:57:49] Speaker B: Yes. [00:57:50] Speaker C: Yes. [00:57:51] Speaker E: Pay attention, Sam. [00:57:52] Speaker B: No fair point. [00:57:56] Speaker A: For 30 points of damage. [00:57:59] Speaker B: For 30. [00:58:00] Speaker A: 30. [00:58:01] Speaker B: I believe that would trigger the final cause final clause in the spell's description. [00:58:07] Speaker A: His eyes glow as. Without moving a finger, the mage slayer's pupils just go wide. As despair encompasses her mind. Foam comes from her mouth and she drops down dead. [00:58:27] Speaker D: Is that an execution range? [00:58:31] Speaker B: If a target is reduced to 0hp by the spell, they. They have a vision of their own death, and it becomes reality. Instantly die so she's not downed by the spell. She instantly dies. [00:58:43] Speaker D: Oh, my gosh. [00:58:46] Speaker A: And now he turns to the knight behind him, and with dramatic slam of his staff. And now I believe it is your turn. [00:59:05] Speaker B: No, it's Nero's turn. Nero syrup. [00:59:11] Speaker E: Good job, boo. Bear with am I. I'm within 120ft of all those people surrounding Valius. [00:59:19] Speaker B: Yes. 120ft will reach anywhere on the map. [00:59:22] Speaker E: Okay, I need a 15 foot burst that somehow doesn't include Val. But does include some. Preferably most. That works. [00:59:34] Speaker A: Get rid of Animated Assault. I did not sustain that, by the way. [00:59:37] Speaker B: You're right. [00:59:37] Speaker D: Hey, you can target me if it hit all four of them. [00:59:41] Speaker E: I don't want to hit you. [00:59:43] Speaker C: But you could. [00:59:45] Speaker E: Can you take it? [00:59:46] Speaker D: Yeah. I've got 80 plus hit points right now. [00:59:48] Speaker F: What about Sigrun? [00:59:49] Speaker B: That would hit all of the bad guys and not Sigurin, but would hit val. [00:59:52] Speaker C: We damage our friends in this party. [00:59:53] Speaker D: Are you okay with that? I'm totally fine. I play on hands, bro. [00:59:56] Speaker A: I mean you just saw u take the most damage. [01:00:00] Speaker E: Okay. [01:00:01] Speaker A: By hour. [01:00:02] Speaker D: Our very volatile group. [01:00:04] Speaker F: I'm so glad we all ask each other. Are you okay with me? [01:00:07] Speaker D: Our greatest weakness. A thin bridge. [01:00:11] Speaker E: I am casting Shadow Blast. By the way. [01:00:14] Speaker C: Wait, have you done this one before? [01:00:16] Speaker E: I've done this one before. Do you want me to describe to you again? [01:00:19] Speaker C: Love to hear it again. [01:00:20] Speaker D: Okay. [01:00:21] Speaker E: You shape the shadow substance of the Netherworld into a blast. I get to choose what damage type out of a long list. And it deals 68 damage of whatever damage type I wish. I need a reflex or will save of all the people in that burst. [01:00:40] Speaker D: One more level. [01:00:41] Speaker B: Do we choose? [01:00:42] Speaker E: It says Target's choice. Reflex or will. [01:00:45] Speaker D: I'm one level of away from successes on wheels becoming crit successes. Who? [01:00:50] Speaker E: What are the people in that thing? I know. [01:00:52] Speaker B: Val. [01:00:52] Speaker E: Two leg breakers. [01:00:54] Speaker B: Yeah, two leg breakers. A knight and the like leader might. [01:00:58] Speaker D: I spun around on the 20 and then rolled over to the 5. [01:01:01] Speaker C: Oof. Do you have a hero point? [01:01:03] Speaker D: No. [01:01:03] Speaker C: Oof. [01:01:04] Speaker B: What is your DC28? [01:01:06] Speaker D: That's a fail on me. [01:01:08] Speaker B: The captain succeeded. All of the others failed. [01:01:11] Speaker D: I could only crit fail on a one. [01:01:12] Speaker B: The knight crit failed. [01:01:16] Speaker C: Oh, you're rolling really bad. Or they have really bad saves. [01:01:19] Speaker E: So with the Shadow Blast, I'm going to be doing for funsies electricity damage. [01:01:28] Speaker D: Oh, no. [01:01:29] Speaker E: Why no? I just think it's fun. And if they're wearing metal, it's even more fun. [01:01:35] Speaker C: An absolutely terrifying image of just shadow electrified. [01:01:39] Speaker F: There's been a lot of lightning in the last like episode or two. [01:01:42] Speaker E: We Stan Lightning. [01:01:43] Speaker F: Yeah. [01:01:44] Speaker C: We are very terrifying in this fight. [01:01:46] Speaker D: This is the first time I've gotten to fully tank in a long time. And it feels good. Not the broken kneecaps, but the rest of it. Feels great. Feels so good. Hit me more. [01:01:57] Speaker E: Hit me baby. One more time. [01:02:00] Speaker C: If you insist. [01:02:04] Speaker E: You want Me to start with. The Crit fail. [01:02:06] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:02:07] Speaker E: 50 points of damage. [01:02:11] Speaker B: Okay, so he's obliterated by the crackling shadow electricity. [01:02:15] Speaker C: That's so much damage. [01:02:16] Speaker E: The two leg breakers take 25, and Val takes 25. And then the captain. [01:02:22] Speaker A: Captain's dead. [01:02:23] Speaker E: Takes 12 points of damage. [01:02:27] Speaker B: That's. [01:02:27] Speaker E: That felt so good. [01:02:29] Speaker D: Yeah, that one. [01:02:30] Speaker E: That felt wonderful. [01:02:31] Speaker B: The captain's not dead. What? [01:02:34] Speaker E: What? [01:02:35] Speaker D: What? [01:02:36] Speaker B: I know. [01:02:36] Speaker D: I thought for sure they were running around with one hit point. [01:02:39] Speaker B: They without. You guys are attacking? Practically speaking. [01:02:43] Speaker D: All right, I am now bloodied. [01:02:45] Speaker E: And then for my last action, magic missile on the Captain for funsies. One plus one. [01:02:57] Speaker B: So two plus one from Sorcerer's potency. [01:03:00] Speaker E: Oh, so three. [01:03:01] Speaker A: Yeah, plus one, plus one. [01:03:03] Speaker B: Okay, so this blast of shadow electricity just consumes the knight. The leg breakers are, like, crackling. The Captain's, like, on her last legs, and this one little boat just. She just falls out of it. [01:03:16] Speaker D: Amazing. [01:03:18] Speaker C: So good. [01:03:20] Speaker E: That's so good. [01:03:22] Speaker B: Yay. [01:03:23] Speaker E: That's my turn. [01:03:24] Speaker B: All right, Val, you are up. [01:03:26] Speaker D: So Val's feeling a little tingly, and she looks. [01:03:30] Speaker E: Sorry, Val. [01:03:30] Speaker D: She spits out some blood, and she looks at them and said, it's never too late to surrender. [01:03:38] Speaker C: Use a diplomacy check for that. See if you can't get him. [01:03:41] Speaker E: You said it wasn't for me to hit you. [01:03:43] Speaker D: Can I do that? [01:03:44] Speaker B: I would ask for either diplomacy or intimidation. Your choice. [01:03:48] Speaker C: If he chooses intimidation, can she get a bonus? [01:03:50] Speaker F: Begging for. [01:03:51] Speaker B: There is a circumstance bonus involved. [01:03:53] Speaker D: We'll do intimidation 29. [01:03:59] Speaker B: Both of the leg breakers drop their weapons and raise their hands. [01:04:04] Speaker D: And then I just. He lay on hands. Oh, dang it. I had plus 2ac the whole time. I got. [01:04:14] Speaker F: We got one guy left. Who doesn't? [01:04:16] Speaker A: No. [01:04:17] Speaker D: I'm gonna give Sigurin two actions. [01:04:19] Speaker B: Oh. [01:04:21] Speaker D: And I'm gonna yell really loudly while she's going. That means you too. [01:04:26] Speaker B: Okay, so this guy, he hears that yell, sees Sigrun flying over, and he just. He, like, stumblingly pulls his sword and, like, hands it hilt where it's towards, uh, and is just like, you know what? Here, why don't you take this? [01:04:40] Speaker D: Oh. [01:04:43] Speaker E: He gives me the sword. [01:04:44] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:04:46] Speaker D: To this bloodied, almost dead dwarf. [01:04:51] Speaker B: You seem like you're in better shape than I am. And he turns and starts walking down the road. Just. [01:05:01] Speaker D: Lapses. [01:05:02] Speaker B: I keep the sword that will end this encounter. [01:05:06] Speaker D: That's Homer. All right, you. [01:05:10] Speaker B: And as you guys are, like, regrouping on the bridge, we just have a long shot. We just hear Breaker. Continues retching over the sun. [01:05:22] Speaker C: Onto the Council. [01:05:24] Speaker B: So are you pressing forward? I know there was some discussion about healing. [01:05:28] Speaker D: Yeah, I think we need to regroup and heal. Probably a little bit. I don't have a lot of healing left because we need to get going, so I cannot refocus. [01:05:35] Speaker E: I can give Uver a lesser healing potion. [01:05:38] Speaker A: That's good. He'll take it because he just pulled a minor healing potion and downed it. It still looks very much worse for the wearer. [01:05:45] Speaker E: So you get two D8 plus five. [01:05:47] Speaker D: Are we just gonna let the Ayrdsens, these guys run away? Do we need to like tie them up? [01:05:52] Speaker E: I think we need to tie them up. At least throw them into the river. [01:05:55] Speaker B: Which ones are still alive? As you're discussing that, one of the town guards is like running by and is like. I heard commotion. Are you all right? [01:06:02] Speaker D: Could you. These three have surrendered. Could you take them into custody? [01:06:06] Speaker B: No worries, we've got plenty of rope. [01:06:10] Speaker D: Thank you. [01:06:11] Speaker A: Thank you. [01:06:11] Speaker D: We're gonna go make sure the Council's safe here. [01:06:14] Speaker B: Yes. Godspeed. As you begin moving up the bridge, the Joulburg itself kind of opens into a large open space. There's sort of a. What do you call that? It's like a courtyard. But it's not a courtyard. [01:06:29] Speaker D: Tress, an atrium, a yard, an auditorium. [01:06:33] Speaker B: There's a large paved space in the center of buildings surrounding it. [01:06:37] Speaker A: Square. Oh, bother. [01:06:40] Speaker C: Is it atrium? [01:06:41] Speaker D: That's what my words come up with. [01:06:43] Speaker B: Let's call it the atrium. As you're pushing towards the atrium, Uvaire and Neros, you notice standing off to the side Uver, you see a red headed woman that you would know as Itis, who makes very good mushroom soup. [01:07:00] Speaker D: What? [01:07:01] Speaker B: And next to her, Neros, you notice an old woman who tripped you back in Tongrov. [01:07:07] Speaker E: What? [01:07:09] Speaker C: I'm okay. [01:07:12] Speaker D: I kill. [01:07:15] Speaker B: Itis is holding a tray with mushrooms with five teacups. And the old woman is holding a teapot. [01:07:24] Speaker D: Are they evil or are they weird Fae good people. [01:07:29] Speaker E: Are you good over there, Uvair? [01:07:31] Speaker D: No. [01:07:32] Speaker A: No. [01:07:32] Speaker C: I don't remember Uver being this feral. [01:07:36] Speaker B: As you're approaching Uver, Ida sees that look of recognition on your face and she's like. I'm sorry. There's no time for explanation. Would anyone care for tea? I'd like you all to make will saves. [01:07:48] Speaker D: Well, what? What? [01:07:50] Speaker A: I don't want call the ancient blooded. [01:07:53] Speaker D: Oh, nice. [01:07:55] Speaker B: No. [01:07:55] Speaker E: Can I. Can I turn into hero? [01:07:57] Speaker C: Is it? [01:07:57] Speaker E: Can I turn in a hero point? [01:07:58] Speaker B: I will not accept hero points on this. Jordy. 35 Jordy said in his Mercy. [01:08:05] Speaker E: Mercy. [01:08:06] Speaker A: Jordy. Mercy with that natural 20 and the plus one circumstance bonus, that's 40. [01:08:17] Speaker B: Nice. [01:08:17] Speaker E: 20 total. [01:08:19] Speaker B: Zafir 26 and Alward 33. Interesting. [01:08:25] Speaker E: Oh, I don't like that word. [01:08:28] Speaker D: I'm gonna be very upset. [01:08:29] Speaker B: Uber. You watch as everyone calmly accepts tea. [01:08:33] Speaker D: 35. 35. [01:08:37] Speaker E: What? [01:08:38] Speaker C: Yeah, I mean, sure, I'll take a cup. And then a mage hand goes up and grabs the cup and brings it to me. [01:08:43] Speaker B: And then Alward, you're the first to respond. You may choose either restore all of your HP or restore a total of 5 rank of 10 ranks of spells. So like 25 5th rank, 1514 and 1 1. [01:08:56] Speaker D: Amazing. [01:08:57] Speaker C: I will choose the spells. [01:08:59] Speaker B: All right. Anybody who drinks the tea, you may experience those same effects. [01:09:03] Speaker F: Oh my gosh, man, does Uvaire. [01:09:05] Speaker A: See positive things happen. [01:09:07] Speaker B: Yeah. As you're watching, your friends who are sipping the tea seem to be like relaxed and revitalized and re energized from it. It is very good tea. [01:09:16] Speaker A: Then. [01:09:16] Speaker E: Just gonna get all my spell slots then. [01:09:20] Speaker A: I'm sure she will notice that. That it did not work on Uwe. As soon as he realizes that some that he succeeded something, essentially that something was tried on him and all of his friends failed, his staff starts to glow and his eyes start to glow. But then he sees what's happening and the revitalization and he turns to her. You just needed to ask. As he takes a cup. [01:09:51] Speaker B: I'm sure you can understand, Yuvaire. This situation is beyond the time for asking. You must succeed. And she looks at all of you. All of you must succeed. [01:10:02] Speaker A: He drinks. [01:10:03] Speaker D: I'm glad you befriended the city. [01:10:05] Speaker A: Me too. I was a little worried there for a second, and I'm rather surprised I succeeded that. But I like it. [01:10:12] Speaker E: But who's the old woman? [01:10:13] Speaker B: What other old woman? The ones are standing in an alley alone. [01:10:16] Speaker D: Oh, you suck. [01:10:20] Speaker A: Okay, the tea was not gone. [01:10:21] Speaker B: But you still have teacups. [01:10:22] Speaker D: Wait, are we actually. [01:10:24] Speaker B: Yes, they're gone. [01:10:24] Speaker D: We're not in the council area where we need to be. [01:10:26] Speaker B: Well, you're in the. Like in the road leading the upper to it. Oh, they had stopped you and offered you tea. And then once you finish like discussing laying on hands, they're gone. Ahead of you is what we're calling the atrium of the jar, the Jolberg, where all of the important business meetings and everything happen. Sort of like an agora of a Grecian city and the Grecian city states of the classical era. [01:10:49] Speaker D: I was literally googling what that was called. [01:10:51] Speaker B: And as you enter, you see a crowd of other Eridssons, all armed to the teeth. Lined up in the middle of this area is all of the noblemen, elders, all of the important people in town. Several of them are kneeling on the ground. A few of them are standing. [01:11:14] Speaker D: Oh no. [01:11:15] Speaker B: A handful of them are lying on the ground with their head elsewhere. [01:11:21] Speaker D: Oh cool. Civil War. [01:11:25] Speaker B: In the center of all of this display, facing this row of the lined up leaders and rulers, is a tall suited armor figure. You all recognize the helmet that this figure is wearing. [01:11:41] Speaker D: There's only Book two. [01:11:43] Speaker B: He stands roughly seven feet tall. On his back is a large tower shield and an oversized flail, but in his hand is a halberd. He turns to look at you as you all enter the room, just dips his head and goes so the heroes have finally arrived. And that's where we'll end this episode. Boy, this hero point goes to Jenkins for how he was playing so psychically psychic. Ish. [01:12:19] Speaker A: I your psychic did damage. [01:12:21] Speaker C: Good job. Actually, I want to point out my psychic did damage, which is great. I love when magic do damage. This was the most un alward I've ever played alward, so it's only fitting that I actually function. [01:12:36] Speaker B: I'm impressed with how much damage Alward dealt without killing anybody. [01:12:40] Speaker D: Same. [01:12:41] Speaker C: Yeah, it's terrifying. It would have been. [01:12:43] Speaker A: Uvair is a tanky boy. [01:12:44] Speaker F: Yeah, it would have been sad if the first person you killed was one of us though. [01:12:48] Speaker C: Hilarious. Anyway, I'm so gracious for this hero point. I think I'm gonna go home now. [01:12:56] Speaker A: And. [01:12:58] Speaker C: I don't know, probably eat some food. [01:13:02] Speaker B: All right.
