[00:00:05] Speaker A: You are listening to an atomic broadcasting production. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the feature presentation. And remember, do your part. Such as, like, comment rate and don't forget to tell a friend to tune in for an atomic time. [00:00:32] Speaker B: Now, where did we leave off? [00:00:35] Speaker A: Ah, yes. [00:00:38] Speaker B: In the dwarven citadel of Tar Kasmuk, Uvaire and Val met a blue warder named Delilah, one of the librarians who guard and govern the extensive library. Following her to the rooms of Ordfuss, they were met with a blood blast of heat upon opening the door, as well as a dwarven figure currently in a blaze of flame. [00:01:08] Speaker C: So what is a role playing game? [00:01:12] Speaker D: Some books. You can read about that if you want. [00:01:15] Speaker A: In fact, a few of them have the explanation written right in front most of them. [00:01:19] Speaker C: I hope Abby listens to this episode just for that. Just so she can hear that. [00:01:23] Speaker D: If that makes it into the cut, who knows? [00:01:26] Speaker B: She'll just stop the episode there. [00:01:31] Speaker D: Well, that brings up an interesting question, especially me as a fan. [00:01:34] Speaker C: Oh, no. Yeah. What's your question, fanboy? [00:01:40] Speaker D: Do you guys listen to your own content? [00:01:43] Speaker A: Actually to a little bit, yes, but less in the sense of as a regular listener, but more of I help edit. [00:01:52] Speaker D: Well, that makes sense. Yes. Okay. [00:01:53] Speaker C: You listen to, like, the drafts and stuff, right? [00:01:56] Speaker A: I I and Jenkins are usually either one or both of us listen to. Oh, like the. The last two or three episodes as they come up as Jacob finishes editing them. So I actually get to hear a little bit ahead of what all of you will get to hear. [00:02:16] Speaker D: Fascinating. How about you, Sam? Do you listen? [00:02:21] Speaker C: Yes, sometimes. Sometimes I go off and on. There are times where I want to kind of like, listen to the most recent episodes of what's going On. I have not listened to all of them. I listen to a good chunk. There was a while where I was like, I gotta listen to it. It's my show. And then after a while I'm like, yeah, but I stopped, like, during the production of the show, I stopped listening to any TTRPG content because I'm like, I'm doing a bunch of them. There's one show I loved. I was getting kind of like, it was the same system I was running. And it was like, kind of a little starting to, like, bother me that they were running it so weirdly. And I was like, this shouldn't bother me. This is fun. I love this show. And now it's starting to bug me a bit because I'm doing a show as well. And I'm like, okay, I'm just gonna stop because I don't want to ruin it. I don't want to ruin myself on the show because I love it and I love those guys a lot. So I kind of like. I've just been moving on to other hobbies for my podcast listening. But I'll jump in, like, for Delta Green. Records of the Unknown. Usually it's a little different this season because of time, but the first two seasons, Petite will edit it and put them together for me to listen to before the next meeting. So then I'm. Because we usually do an episode or two a week. So then I'm listening to it, like them, like seven plus times throughout the week as I'm planning what for the next episode. Because I go into those episodes with, like, 20% of what was going to happen in my brain most of the time. Sometimes I have a lot planned, but this time it's like I don't always have every episode ready to go in this one because of the way we're doing Saturday recordings now and trying to get batches in. Kind of like what we do here. It's different, but it's working pretty well. Making it interesting. But I always get to listen to it. So I listen to him as when I gm, I always listen to what I'm doing ahead of time during the recording, and then I don't. Sometimes I listen to them afterwards. Like, Records of the Unknown is short enough that I'll listen through the whole show after it's released, just because there's a lot of cool stuff. I really like the way Petit edits it and puts it all together with all the sound effects and everything, because I don't get those when I'm listening it before the episode always. So, yeah, I don't listen to our show. [00:04:31] Speaker D: Of course you don't. [00:04:31] Speaker B: Yeah, I just edit it. [00:04:33] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. Written a loss. I'm just. Every now and again, I jump in. [00:04:37] Speaker A: There is an aspect of this, and I don't know if anyone else can relate for me, at least, unless I think there's a really, like, my character had a really cool moment that I'm kind of proud of how it turned out. I don't actually like listening to myself. [00:04:55] Speaker D: Fair, fair. [00:04:56] Speaker A: I get that. [00:04:57] Speaker C: I'm fine. [00:04:59] Speaker A: I find that I end up cringing like, oh, oh, I could have said that better. Or, oh, I don't like how that went. I realized. I realized that's probably mostly in my head. And I am my own worst critic. [00:05:13] Speaker C: That's how I am with written Records of the Unknown. You can tell when I'M like excited or smiling bit and I'm like, it bugs me a little bit. Usually I like listening to myself, but those ones, I'm like, I'm trying to be a horror thing and it's like I'm clearly enjoying what's happening and like it's about. It's a little bother sometimes, but I [00:05:31] Speaker D: hate my ADHD brain because I just thought of a thing I want to ask that has nothing to do with the thing that we're talking about. [00:05:37] Speaker A: So I'll do it. [00:05:38] Speaker D: Horrible at banter. Jordy, this is another question for you. [00:05:43] Speaker C: Wait, stop. I have one more thing to say. [00:05:45] Speaker D: Okay, say it. [00:05:47] Speaker C: One thing that gets me to relist and often is the discord. So, oh yeah, people like Starry or Gameth or Fireside or whoever. [00:05:55] Speaker D: Me, [00:05:58] Speaker C: when you guys post stuff, I'm like, if I don't quite. If it doesn't bring to my mind immediately, like, oh, they're talking about that exact thing. I'll jump back and listen to. I want to know what you guys are talking about so I can respond. Or on the occasional, if I'm gonna make a actual like social media post about episodes, which I don't make a lot of them because, yeah, I'm not good at that. That's often when I'll relisten as well. I like hearing when the community is getting involved in episodes. So that gets me more involved as also listener than anything else. [00:06:31] Speaker D: So do you hear that, people? Join the discord. Start talking. Give us some discourse. [00:06:37] Speaker A: And you gave a shout out. So I want to shout out one person. [00:06:40] Speaker C: No, no more shout out. [00:06:41] Speaker A: No, no, no, no, no, no, no. This one, this one. I don't know who you are. I don't frequent the tumblers. Oh, yeah, I don't frequent the tumblers. Tumblers, yes. But whoever you are creatively, Storm, I am so, so happy that you enjoy our little show here. The little snippets that I've seen of what you post have made me so happy. They really are they just a little bit of joy. So if you continue to enjoy it, keep posting. We see. We see all of you out there as much as we can. [00:07:14] Speaker C: So not too. I made a Tumblr account so I could follow her because, like, when I see people getting involved, I'm like, I want to be there and be supportive and help. Like, and I want to see what people are liking and everything. So I'm like, I get to see all that. She's great. I really like, she'll catch up on this in like a year or two. And then she'll be like, hopefully feel weird about the fact that we're talking. [00:07:38] Speaker A: Cause you're still a fan. [00:07:40] Speaker C: I'm always worried outside of Discord, of like interacting with fans because, like, if they're talking about what they liked about each episode, I don't want them to be like, oh, one of the people saw it. Okay, I'm gonna stop talking about it. Keep talking. It's fine. [00:07:53] Speaker D: As a fan, which it's a weird because I'm also like friends with you guys, I think, last I checked. But like, from my point of view with fandom, as much as this is a fandom, getting interactions with the people who are making the thing that you love is like one of the coolest things that you can do. So maybe that's not universal. That's how I feel about it. So if you're worried about that, Sam, I would say maybe give it a go. You never know. [00:08:20] Speaker C: Well, I've commented on a couple of posts and I didn't have any of my info on my Tumblr account. I've recently actually updated for it's all atomic broadcasting stuff. And I'm like, I wonder if she'll ever actually notice. It'd be funny. It's fun. And yeah, if anyone else talks, if you guys see anything else about us on any socials or anything, let us know. Because, like, I want to go check out what people are saying. And we don't always, you know, none of us had a Tumblr. So like, we only know because someone said, hey, someone on Tumblr was talking about you guys. And we're like, what? [00:08:51] Speaker D: We all got really excited. I have a Tumblr. I didn't know about this person, but I'm going to go follow them right after we're done. [00:08:59] Speaker C: It's great. And Emily has. Emily Hake is on there and she has a lot of. So she did a lot of the art for us already. Meadow Rose, she's also on there. And there's more art. I don't think that we've necessarily shared of our characters on there as well. [00:09:14] Speaker D: I'm going to hold off that other question I had for Jordan. [00:09:16] Speaker C: No, go for it. [00:09:16] Speaker D: No. [00:09:17] Speaker C: Should I go for it? You'll never be here again. [00:09:19] Speaker D: Yeah, I might be about to die. So in that case, Jordy, I am a GM as well. You know this. I was wondering who, if any of your players at. Not physically this table, but the players in this campaign, have any of them been particularly hard to plan encounters around or have any of them made interesting choices that have surprised you? [00:09:46] Speaker C: Never. We're the least interesting group. [00:09:48] Speaker B: Leans INTO MICROPHONE Yes. [00:09:52] Speaker D: You can't tell me who though. It's a secret. [00:09:54] Speaker C: It's funny looking at Jordi during some encounters. [00:09:58] Speaker B: Honestly now I'm trying to think, has anybody not done a really moment where I'm like, oh, well, that completely changes this encounter? [00:10:09] Speaker D: That's a very fair answer. [00:10:10] Speaker B: Yeah, I think everybody has an instance I can think of where it's like, well, that changes things. [00:10:16] Speaker C: I will say from my point of view in regards to that, I'm also a GM and you never ask me GM questions, but you don't GM the [00:10:25] Speaker D: games that I GM for. [00:10:28] Speaker C: I ran a whole Pathfinder campaign. [00:10:32] Speaker D: I suppose that's true. [00:10:32] Speaker C: You were in it. [00:10:33] Speaker D: I was. [00:10:35] Speaker C: Anyway, I think Abby does some of the most actual changeups to our combats with charms or just the various things she comes up with that I feel like often really change our entire combat. Also Zafir. But she also is constantly adding levels to things. Even if like, it doesn't actually change the combat, it's changed something. It's always very interesting. [00:11:02] Speaker A: This is true. [00:11:04] Speaker D: I was just curious because I know in my party and the campaign that I'm running is coming to an end literally in like two or three weeks, a three and a half year long campaign. There have been so many instances of, well, let me just throw this encounter out the window or. [00:11:21] Speaker C: But have any of them cast blizzard at a bunch of trees and it didn't affect the trees at all? [00:11:27] Speaker D: They never did that. No, they never ever did that. Who would do such a thing? [00:11:31] Speaker C: I don't know. The trees would clearly make their saves against a blizzard. [00:11:37] Speaker B: So we've to that point we've had two, two encounters so far that I had prepared to run and then Neros was just like charm and I'm like, oh well, there is no encounter if nobody wants to fight you. [00:11:51] Speaker D: Yes, I have. I have noticed those instances. [00:11:54] Speaker C: They're always great. [00:11:55] Speaker A: They are press one for ambush, press two for knockoff. [00:12:03] Speaker B: But yeah, I really, as a game master, really appreciate when people are engaging with the world setting in a story focused way rather than a, you know, murder hobo focused way. [00:12:16] Speaker D: Absolutely. [00:12:16] Speaker B: If I'm like, hey, here's enemies that you can fight. And they say, well, what if we did this? And I'm like, well, with that much respect to the story, you can go far. [00:12:26] Speaker C: We've looted one person in this whole game. [00:12:32] Speaker B: Well, the only body you've looted was the one that you found already in the catacombs. [00:12:39] Speaker C: No, we looted the old woman that we found. [00:12:41] Speaker B: Yeah, she was in the catacombs. [00:12:42] Speaker C: That's true. But we did kill her. That was my grandma. [00:12:48] Speaker D: Speaking of killing old people. [00:12:50] Speaker B: Good segue. [00:12:52] Speaker D: I did a segue. [00:12:53] Speaker C: We're not killing you. [00:12:56] Speaker D: Well, he's on fire, so speaking. [00:12:58] Speaker C: All right, Uwe's new character. [00:13:00] Speaker B: Yeah, Uwe's an old person. [00:13:02] Speaker C: Get him. [00:13:05] Speaker B: So you all have just opened this door that leads into Orvos's study, his library that he's renting out here in Tarkasmuk. [00:13:14] Speaker C: Okay, hold on. I actually have a question about this. I was confused all last episode. Is he living in a library room? Like, are they setting fire to his room? Or is he like in a room in the library temporarily? I'm confused where he lives and why there's a librarian that he's his tenant. I'm confused. [00:13:34] Speaker B: So there's like. So imagine like, you know, the study rooms in like a library in like a college or something, where it's like, hey, you can go in here and have a private. [00:13:43] Speaker C: In those rooms. [00:13:44] Speaker B: Yeah, you play D and D in those rooms until the librarian comes and says, stop laughing. Get out of here. [00:13:48] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. [00:13:49] Speaker B: So it's like that, except rather than. Since this is like a massive city sized library, rather than just being a room that you can go to a private place, this is like a suite of rooms that you can rent out for your own personal study chambers. But he is doing unauthorized experimentations in a study room rather than renting out the laboratory spaces because they're more expensive. [00:14:11] Speaker C: That makes sense. I never asked because Val didn't know what was going on. But now we're here and I see a map and I'm like, what's going on? [00:14:20] Speaker B: Well, it's like I always say, if you've got a question you're wanting to ask, there's probably somebody else who wanted to ask it and is glad you were brave enough to ask. [00:14:26] Speaker C: No, it was just me. [00:14:28] Speaker B: Sigrun wanted to know. Oh, so now you all know what is going on. And you stand the precipice of knowledge as you enter this rented out library study space. You've opened the door and you see this wave of heat blasts you in the face, like opening an oven. And inside there are sconces and chandeliers burning with this fuchsia flame. And in the center of the room is a dwarf who is just on fire. [00:14:56] Speaker C: Is he screaming? [00:14:59] Speaker B: I don't think so. [00:15:01] Speaker C: He's relatively calm. [00:15:02] Speaker B: He's got his back to the door. [00:15:04] Speaker C: It's a human torch. [00:15:05] Speaker D: I would like to point out that at the end of last episode, I had pulled my shield off my back. And so I'm kind of like holding it up and peering around it. [00:15:14] Speaker A: U walked in. Oh, u walked in. Because he said, out of my way. [00:15:20] Speaker D: I'll be. I'll follow u in, but stay back like 10ft. [00:15:24] Speaker A: Orvus. [00:15:28] Speaker B: What? [00:15:28] Speaker D: Who? [00:15:29] Speaker B: What? [00:15:30] Speaker D: Who are you? [00:15:31] Speaker B: And the. The figure turns around and you can see the flame has eaten away at the flesh until it's almost just like a skeletal figure that's just burning. [00:15:42] Speaker A: Dispel magic. [00:15:46] Speaker B: Okay, so you're trying to cast dispel magic on the flames themselves? [00:15:50] Speaker A: Yes. [00:15:51] Speaker B: Okay, what level are you? What rank are you casting dispel magic at? [00:15:55] Speaker A: We'll do rank. Rank six. [00:15:58] Speaker B: Okay, so go ahead and make a counteract check for me. So you'll roll a D20, add your spell attack modifier, and all of that jazz. [00:16:07] Speaker C: You like jazz? [00:16:09] Speaker A: 41 needed a 50, so I rolled a 19 on the die. [00:16:14] Speaker C: Okay. [00:16:16] Speaker B: U. You know that you have done this charm, this counter charm, to the best of your knowledge, You've weaved it all together and it just kind of fizzles out. So with your understanding of magic, you would know that the. You probably just didn't use a high enough level of magic to counteract whatever is causing the flames. [00:16:39] Speaker C: It's a high level magic. [00:16:41] Speaker A: That's high level. [00:16:42] Speaker C: I told you you needed a 50. I don't. [00:16:44] Speaker A: I don't think outside of a nat 20. I could have beat that. [00:16:48] Speaker C: You should have rolled with. You should have rolled one better. [00:16:51] Speaker D: Sven, could I like, maybe do a recall knowledge check to see what is happening? [00:16:56] Speaker B: Sure. What is your religion bonus? [00:16:58] Speaker D: Religion plus 18. [00:17:01] Speaker C: Whoa. Wow. You're pretty good at that. Can I also do a religion check out plus 23? [00:17:07] Speaker B: Oh, plus 23. [00:17:09] Speaker C: I'm pretty good at that. Delilah's probably better. [00:17:14] Speaker D: My 18 is not better than your 23. [00:17:15] Speaker C: Yeah, probably a little better. [00:17:17] Speaker B: All right, you both know what this is. [00:17:19] Speaker C: Oh, good, good. [00:17:21] Speaker B: This is what you would call in the study of undead, a combusted. [00:17:29] Speaker C: He's dead. [00:17:31] Speaker B: A combusted is what happens when somebody dies from flame in a horrible, horrible way. Up until recently, though, combusted were only found in two locations. Between two volcanoes in the ruined city of Shadun and Kadira, and the blackened foundations of the Shojinwa manor in Min Kai, cursed by a black flame. [00:17:55] Speaker C: Can. Can I go up to him? [00:17:59] Speaker B: From what you know about combusted, they tend to retain Fragments of their personality and memory, but are tormented by the flame and often driven to acts of malice by it. So approaching is not necessarily going to start a fight, but it could be risky. I will also say before I let you ask your questions, because you both succeeded. Typically, a combusted would be a level three creature, which Uvaire's spell should have easily removed the flame from. So something else is going on here. [00:18:37] Speaker C: Oh. Could you actually remove the flame from a combustion? [00:18:41] Speaker B: Potentially. [00:18:43] Speaker C: What level is it? [00:18:44] Speaker B: This is a level 13 creature. Cool. So you each have a question you may ask. [00:18:51] Speaker C: Hmm. I wonder what its immunities are. [00:18:55] Speaker D: I have a guess on that front, but I will ask. What is its weakest save? [00:19:01] Speaker C: Its weakest save is will special ability. [00:19:06] Speaker B: Special ability? It has a burning heat that surrounds it, so if you get close, you will be burned. [00:19:15] Speaker C: Okay, that makes sense. I figured something like that. Uwe Ver. U ver. Your friend is dead, Orvus. This is an undead creature we're going to have to take care of. [00:19:31] Speaker A: Indeed. And he reaches over to you, and we hug. No. [00:19:39] Speaker C: Oh, sorry, grandpa. [00:19:42] Speaker A: You suddenly feel a barrier form around you as he casts resist energy, and you have resistance to fire. Resistance. 5. [00:19:57] Speaker C: Nice. [00:19:58] Speaker D: I reach into my belt pouch, pull out a potion, pop the cork, and down it. A potion of quickness. I'm hasted for a minute. [00:20:06] Speaker C: Nerd. Nice. That's pretty cool. [00:20:09] Speaker B: As you. As you all are doing this, this flaming, burning dwarf is, like, looking at you, and then he just kind of looks past you and then just goes, seal the door. [00:20:19] Speaker C: Seal the door. [00:20:20] Speaker B: And starts running at you. Roll for Initiative. [00:20:23] Speaker A: Dang it, Jordy. I had a thing I wanted to do. [00:20:26] Speaker B: You got a spell off before Initiative. [00:20:29] Speaker A: That's fair. [00:20:32] Speaker B: That's fair. [00:20:33] Speaker A: 32. [00:20:34] Speaker B: Delilah. [00:20:35] Speaker D: 40. [00:20:36] Speaker C: 37. [00:20:38] Speaker B: All right, Delilah, you're up first. [00:20:41] Speaker D: Oh, by the stars. I'm gonna use my hasted action to move. Can I. [00:20:47] Speaker B: How far away is he from you? 30ft. [00:20:52] Speaker A: Cool. [00:20:52] Speaker D: My speed right now is 35, so get me right up on him. [00:20:55] Speaker B: All right. [00:20:56] Speaker D: And so that was my hasted action. [00:21:00] Speaker B: So you're now in the middle of this workshop with, you know, desks and stuff just strewn all over the place. [00:21:06] Speaker D: We presume that I have my hammer in my hand already, presumably. Okay. Because I kind of had some time when things were looking bad. So I'm gonna, like, get up to him. I'm like, I'm sorry, sir. And I'm gonna spell strike with thunderstrike as lightning is wreathed on my warhammer. And I'm just gonna bring it down. [00:21:26] Speaker C: It's gonna suck when you learn this was just a very elaborate illusion. [00:21:30] Speaker D: Yep, it will. It will suck if that is the case, but I'm hoping that it isn't. So I believe with spell strike, I just make a attack roll with my weapon. And if it hits both the attack and the spell go both go through. Is that correct? [00:21:47] Speaker B: Yes. Okay, so then that will make it hit and then he makes a save afterwards. He'll get a save for that additionally. [00:21:54] Speaker D: You got it. [00:21:56] Speaker C: Is he wearing metal armor? [00:21:58] Speaker B: He is not. [00:21:59] Speaker D: Doubtful. [00:22:00] Speaker C: Oh, a nerd isn't wearing metal armor. [00:22:03] Speaker D: 39 to hit. [00:22:05] Speaker B: Ooh, that is a hit. [00:22:07] Speaker D: Sweet. 28 points of bludgeoning damage from the strike. And then for the spell, he needs to make a basic reflex save. [00:22:18] Speaker B: All right, what is your spell? D.C. 31 critical success. [00:22:24] Speaker D: So he takes no damage from the spell. Unfortunate. In that case, I'm gonna use my last action to raise my shield. [00:22:34] Speaker B: All right, Val. [00:22:37] Speaker C: Val kinda takes a moment and kind of grabs on her little pharasma symbol. She's taking a moment to think about, you know, Vera's friend is here in debt, and now we're going to deal with that. And that's not good for anyone, especially the guy involved. She's going to say a quick prayer and then just kind of dash right out around it into flanking with the creature with Delilah. I'm going to then swing my holy cold frost glaive. [00:23:13] Speaker B: I forgot your frost glave was cold. [00:23:15] Speaker C: Cold. Yeah, cold damage and whole and it's holy. And now they change that thing. Or if it's got weakness to both of them, it adds. I'm gonna use a hero point, cuz we need to use them. [00:23:31] Speaker B: What? You roll 29 like on the die? [00:23:34] Speaker C: Oh, a six. [00:23:35] Speaker B: Oh, he rolled a 29 on his 20 sided die. [00:23:39] Speaker A: It's a really fancy die actually. [00:23:42] Speaker C: Wait, no, I won't reroll. I'll just use this reverse strike play. After you fail an attack, you get a success. Is a 29 a failure? [00:23:50] Speaker B: It is. [00:23:51] Speaker C: Okay, throw that over that way. [00:23:53] Speaker A: You actually used. [00:23:54] Speaker C: I actually used a hero point for its real reason. If I rerolled it, it would have been meh. So that's good. All right, so that's 3D8 plus 8 plus 1D6 cold. And an additional slashing because it's got my emblazoned symbol on it that I always forget to add. And I finally remembered to put it on my character sheet. What do we got here? 25 slashing damage and 2 cold damage. [00:24:22] Speaker B: This is where I get my calculator out. All right, so as your glaive slashes into this creature, there's just the sound of sizzling as the flames sort of dissipate a little bit around where the glaive hit. And he screeches out in more pain than he did when he was struck by the warhammer, making it obvious that he has a weakness to cold damage. [00:24:45] Speaker C: Oh, then I am going to once again clutch that symbol for a minute. And then it starts. All the little like crackles that she uses with her magic starts floating around her hand until it kind of becomes a black silhouette with like the purple crackles all around it. And she's going to use lay on hands and touch this creature, which requires a fortitude save. [00:25:10] Speaker B: All right, and what is your DC for that 31 regular success. [00:25:16] Speaker C: Oh, okay, so it just takes half damage of 76. [00:25:21] Speaker B: 76. [00:25:25] Speaker C: If it failed, it also gets a penalty to its ac. But such is life as a non caster Main. My DCs never feel like they. They're never as high as other casters. I imagine 31's not up with like Uber's DC32. Yeah. Okay, so it's not that different. Oh, wow. 30 so have to 15 vitality damage [00:25:48] Speaker B: and he takes it. He does not seem to have any particular weakness to vitality damage, so she [00:25:54] Speaker C: just kind of grabs onto it and isn't fully effective because of the heat. I imagine she kind of isn't able to hold on as tightly. And then I'm gonna look up to see if all of my attacks, including this, count as holy or if not. But that's the end of my turn. [00:26:09] Speaker B: All right, Ubert. [00:26:11] Speaker A: Uver looks at the remains of his old student, Orvus. You, you young fool. Some things shouldn't be played with as as he's saying that, he takes his staff and suddenly the room almost feels hotter as smoke starts coming out from underneath his feet. And with a slam on the ground, Uver erupts in fire as I cast fire body. [00:26:50] Speaker B: So now we have two flaming dwarves. [00:26:52] Speaker C: He's literally fighting fire with fire, a [00:26:56] Speaker A: living flame, giving me fire immunity and resistance. 10 to precision damage and weakness. 5 to cold and water. But we're not going to worry about those. As he comes up to the side on the right side, we'll say of what remains of Orvus. Uvert knows what he's looking for because he knows what Orvus was working on. He's gonna look for the heart. [00:27:25] Speaker B: He does not appear to have anything on his person. He's Basically just a charred skeleton that's wreathed in flame. Gotcha. [00:27:33] Speaker A: But there is another door, apparently, on the other side. [00:27:35] Speaker B: Yes, there's actually there. So just taking a step away from the action here for a moment, in this room, there is. Just to the right of the door, there's, like a pile of charred wood and such with a backing of sandbags. Almost as if someone were trying to burn something without it spreading to the shelving behind it. On the north side of the room, there's a small personal forge, and then three doors. One in the center of the north side, and then one door each going out to the east and the west of the north side of the room. And then back on the south side where you came in, there's a smaller wooden door that appears to go to a closet. Okay, the last thing. Ah, Close that door. The last thing I want to say is this door here, up on the center of the north, is. As opposed to the others, this one is like a steel door, as opposed to the stone that the other doors were. Gotcha. [00:28:32] Speaker A: Uvaire's gonna reach up one hand and grasp his shoulder. Look at me, my friend. And we will give. And I will give you peace. [00:28:45] Speaker B: It is now Orvus's turn. Since all three of you are standing next to him, you are all subject to his flaming aura. Uvere is, of course, immune to flame, but. But I'm going to need Delilah and Val to each make a reflex save. [00:28:58] Speaker C: Reflex, you say? How fortuitous. [00:29:03] Speaker D: 41. [00:29:04] Speaker B: 41. And Val. [00:29:05] Speaker C: 27. [00:29:07] Speaker B: All right, so, Delilah, you get a critical success, so I imagine you just kind of duck behind your shield and shield yourself from the heat. There. Val, you'll take the full force of the flame with a regular fail, which is how much? [00:29:20] Speaker C: Two D6. And two more. D6. [00:29:23] Speaker B: A total of 16. Fire damage. [00:29:25] Speaker A: Minus 11. Yep. [00:29:27] Speaker B: Nice. Nice. [00:29:28] Speaker C: I. Oh. I have resistance fire based for my gown. Does that stack with what he did or. [00:29:34] Speaker B: No, it would not stack. They would be separate sources. [00:29:36] Speaker C: Okay, sorry. I forgot about that. [00:29:38] Speaker A: Well, then I would have given it [00:29:39] Speaker D: to you, actually, if you want to. [00:29:42] Speaker C: Is that cool, Jordy? [00:29:43] Speaker B: I'd be okay with retconning it back since u would know that. You have resistance five already. [00:29:47] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:29:49] Speaker C: Heat resistance transfer. I'll take it. [00:29:51] Speaker D: I'll take it. [00:29:53] Speaker C: As I laid hands on this monster, My heat resistance transferred over to Delilah. [00:29:59] Speaker A: Suddenly, a shimmering shield forms around Delilah. [00:30:02] Speaker D: So that's Resistance 5. [00:30:04] Speaker A: Yeah, a little singed. U is just fire. There's two fire people next to you. [00:30:09] Speaker C: Which one do we kill? [00:30:11] Speaker A: The first one. [00:30:12] Speaker C: Kill them both. [00:30:13] Speaker A: To be safe, two dwarves are on fire. Which do you put out first? [00:30:18] Speaker C: Get the fireman. So let's just start. Blast. [00:30:21] Speaker B: One of these Dwarves that's on fire, that has a distinguishable skeleton beneath the flames, reels back and swings its fist at Val. [00:30:29] Speaker C: No. No. [00:30:30] Speaker D: Attack me. [00:30:32] Speaker B: Oh, no. Sam said no. I'm guessing a 37 doesn't hit you. [00:30:38] Speaker C: That does hit. My AC is 36. [00:30:40] Speaker B: I was only guessing because you said no. [00:30:43] Speaker C: Val doesn't have that power. All my other characters do. Val doesn't. It. [00:30:48] Speaker B: You take 24. Bludgeoning damage from his fist. [00:30:51] Speaker C: All right. [00:30:53] Speaker B: And 2D6, persistent fire damage. Okay, so we'll have to keep track of that. [00:30:59] Speaker C: I won't. [00:31:02] Speaker B: All right, fine. [00:31:03] Speaker C: I'll do my best. [00:31:04] Speaker B: I'll keep track of. [00:31:05] Speaker C: I'll do my best. Sorry. [00:31:07] Speaker B: Then he's gonna turn around and swing a fist at Delilah. [00:31:12] Speaker C: Or is he? Halt. Repent. Or what was it? What is it? It's repent or I can't find it. Yeah. Repent or refuse. [00:31:26] Speaker B: I think the action's flash of redemption. But he will. He will repent. He will repent and not swing that Delilah. [00:31:34] Speaker A: Oh, what a nice guy. [00:31:36] Speaker D: Yeah, I could take it. [00:31:37] Speaker C: I know. [00:31:38] Speaker B: Now, instead, he is going to just pull his hand back and then just look down at his fist that's burning and then just scream out in pain. I'm going to need all of you, including Uber, to make a will save. [00:31:56] Speaker D: I just let him point out something. I'm rolling hot tonight. [00:32:01] Speaker A: 37. 37. [00:32:03] Speaker B: 37. [00:32:04] Speaker D: Delilah, 42. [00:32:08] Speaker C: Val, 24. [00:32:10] Speaker B: All right. [00:32:11] Speaker C: Harold's taking all of my Life. [00:32:12] Speaker D: I've rolled two 19s in a row. [00:32:14] Speaker B: Val has failed, Delilah has critically succeeded again, and Uvair has regular succeeded. So, Uvair, you will be unaffected. There was a rider that could have potentially affected you, but the rest of this is just going to be fire damage, which, once again, Delilah ducks behind her shield and takes no fire damage. [00:32:37] Speaker C: Nice shield, bro. [00:32:38] Speaker B: And, Val, you are going to take damage that I'm going to roll in the computer because I don't want to ask for D6s. Oh, you take 43. Fire damage as I was rolling. 12. D6. [00:32:53] Speaker C: You said 43 W minus 5. [00:32:56] Speaker B: Minus 5. [00:32:57] Speaker C: 38. I still have well over half my HP. [00:33:01] Speaker B: And that brings us back around to Delilah. [00:33:04] Speaker A: Was that a spell, or is that just something else? [00:33:06] Speaker B: It's something else he can do. [00:33:09] Speaker A: Okay? [00:33:10] Speaker C: He's special. [00:33:11] Speaker D: Okay. I. I think what I want to do for my first action is to cast a Focus spell. It is my conflux spell shielding strike. I attack and raise my shield as a single action. [00:33:27] Speaker C: Oh, nice. [00:33:29] Speaker D: And that recharges my spell strike as well. Cuz it's a conflux spell. [00:33:32] Speaker C: Sweet. [00:33:33] Speaker B: Those conflux spells, man. [00:33:35] Speaker C: So confluxual. [00:33:38] Speaker D: Well, all my defensive rolls, which makes sense, are good. My attack rolls less good. [00:33:43] Speaker C: You wouldn't want to kill your bestie. [00:33:45] Speaker D: I'm going to turn in a hero point. [00:33:48] Speaker C: Look, he used it for a real. [00:33:50] Speaker B: What was your original roll? [00:33:51] Speaker D: Four. [00:33:52] Speaker C: Oh yeah. Understandable, sir. [00:33:55] Speaker D: Much better. [00:33:57] Speaker A: What was it on die? [00:33:59] Speaker D: 17 on the die. Oh yeah. [00:34:01] Speaker B: I'm quaking in my flaming dwarven boots. [00:34:04] Speaker A: Wait, you burned the boots off. You quake too much. [00:34:10] Speaker C: His tar feet. [00:34:10] Speaker D: He is a 42 to hit. [00:34:12] Speaker B: That is a critical hit. [00:34:14] Speaker D: Sweet. [00:34:14] Speaker C: And he's flanking. [00:34:15] Speaker B: He is flanking. [00:34:17] Speaker D: So I have a rooting rune on my warhammer. If I get a critical hit, the weapon roots grow from the target, immobilizing them for one round. And they also become clumsy one for as long as the immobilization lasts. [00:34:32] Speaker A: I like. [00:34:33] Speaker D: He's on fire. So that's, you know, maybe. [00:34:36] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:34:37] Speaker B: What rank is that? Is it just a regular rooting? [00:34:41] Speaker D: It's a greater level. 11 item. [00:34:44] Speaker C: Solid. [00:34:47] Speaker B: I will. [00:34:48] Speaker C: It's magic. [00:34:48] Speaker B: Yeah, what I'll do is I'll have it when it comes to his turn, roll a check essentially to see if. I'll have you do a counteract check. [00:34:58] Speaker D: Okay. [00:34:59] Speaker B: No, I'll have the fire do a counteract check to see if it can burn the roots. [00:35:02] Speaker D: That works. But first, damage everybody's favorite part. [00:35:07] Speaker B: Well, Orvis might not appreciate that part. [00:35:10] Speaker A: Well, he's a little bit beyond appreciating things right now. [00:35:15] Speaker D: So I play different systems. Do I add everything up and then double it for the critical? [00:35:20] Speaker B: Yes. [00:35:21] Speaker D: Okay, then that's a total of 42 bludgeoning damage. So that was my first action. [00:35:26] Speaker B: So you just slam that warhammer woman. [00:35:29] Speaker D: And as I like slam, slam it into him like he. [00:35:31] Speaker C: The. [00:35:32] Speaker D: The ground beneath him kind of buckles. And then these roots start to like start to grow up. And we'll see what happens after that. But I have technically three more actions because I'm hasted. [00:35:43] Speaker A: So I. I love marshals. [00:35:48] Speaker D: Is a make us a marshall. [00:35:50] Speaker A: Yeah, kinda. [00:35:51] Speaker B: At the very least he's a gish. [00:35:53] Speaker D: Very least. But now I have map if I want to try to spell strike. And I don't know if I want to spell strike with map. I can do it with a cantrip. Why not? [00:36:02] Speaker B: Why not do It. [00:36:04] Speaker D: So I'm gonna spell strike. I'm gonna spell strike with Gouging claw. And remind me what map is. [00:36:10] Speaker B: It's gonna be minus five. Unless your weapon has agile, which I [00:36:13] Speaker D: don't think a warhammer has agile. Okay, so 34 to hit. [00:36:18] Speaker B: That is a hit. [00:36:19] Speaker D: Sweet. And Gouging Claw is a. An attack roll spell in of itself. So they both go through this way? Yes. [00:36:26] Speaker A: Yep. [00:36:26] Speaker B: There's no additional roll. [00:36:27] Speaker D: I've never played a magus before, so bear with me, folks. So this is damage. [00:36:32] Speaker C: RAWR. [00:36:33] Speaker D: So it's 25 from just the hammer, and then now comes the spell part of it. [00:36:38] Speaker C: You look very baffled. [00:36:40] Speaker B: Yeah, I am. I'm just wondering why this guy doesn't have bleed immunity. [00:36:45] Speaker C: He's undead. Undead naturally have bleed immunity. [00:36:47] Speaker D: It's one of those things that's baked in that they don't explicitly tell you. [00:36:50] Speaker C: Because bleed says if it. If the target can't bleed, then it can't be affected by bleeding lead. [00:36:54] Speaker A: On this case, it's literally baked in [00:37:00] Speaker D: an additional 24 points of slashing damage as. I don't know how to flavor this exactly. But my warhammer like grows claws [00:37:11] Speaker C: like. Like a jawbone at the end. [00:37:12] Speaker D: Yeah, it's like the metal probably like turns into like hooked razors. And I smack him. So. And it does not do the bleed damage as we. [00:37:21] Speaker B: Correct. [00:37:21] Speaker D: No bleed damage. Cuz it would do bleed damage, but he can't. So it's 24 damage from the spell part of that. Yeah. [00:37:28] Speaker B: I'm just imagining like the warhammer smashes into the rib cage and then out of the warhammer claws and then you pull back. [00:37:35] Speaker D: I love it. Yes. [00:37:36] Speaker C: Amazing. [00:37:37] Speaker D: So that was my second action. I'm taking forever. I'm so sorry. [00:37:43] Speaker B: You've got your quickened action left. [00:37:44] Speaker D: I. Yes, because that was a spell strike. You're right. So I. I'm just going to. With full map. I'm gonna try to smack him one more time. [00:37:52] Speaker A: As somebody who loves haste, at least in other systems. Half at it, mate. [00:37:57] Speaker B: I will say. While you're doing that check, your spell strike just now brought him below bloodied. [00:38:04] Speaker D: Okay. [00:38:05] Speaker B: Even though we've established he can't bleed. [00:38:08] Speaker D: 15 on the die, plus 25 to hit. So 30 to hit. [00:38:15] Speaker B: Because Val is flanking with you. That is a hit. [00:38:17] Speaker D: Oh, right. 3. [00:38:20] Speaker C: I hear you. I see you. [00:38:22] Speaker D: Another 22 points of bludgeoning damage. [00:38:23] Speaker B: So yeah, Orvus is not in good shape after being smashed with a warhammer three times in the last six seconds. [00:38:29] Speaker D: I'm imagining that Delilah is, like, panicking, and so she's just like, [00:38:35] Speaker A: go to sleep. Go to sleep. [00:38:36] Speaker D: Go to sleep. Go to sleep. Stay down. Fire in the library. Fire in the library. Stop, drop, and roll. [00:38:46] Speaker B: Val, you see Delilah panickedly just bashing this flaming skeleton with her warhammer across from you, and it is now your turn. [00:38:53] Speaker C: Okay, I'm going to just join in there as she just railing it with this warhammer and just slash forward. My glaive. I am not doing so hot. 32. [00:39:07] Speaker B: That is a hit. [00:39:08] Speaker C: That's a six on the die. All right, three D8 plus a D6 cold. Let's roll this thing. Oh, not very great. So 18 slashing damage and four cold damage. [00:39:26] Speaker B: All right. And he takes that damage, obviously, once again triggering that weakness to cold. As the flames are sizzling, the flames now covering the skeletal body are starting to, like, gutter and sputter. As he's starting to really weaken, Val's [00:39:39] Speaker C: clay tablet starts to kind of like she's feeling, like, that pulsing from it again and again, and she's kind of, like, reaching out to that and, like, letting it into her arm. So her right arm does kind of like what you saw before, where it starts silhouetting and, like, an overlay of, like, stars and planets and everything over her whole arm as those purple crackles are coming all around, as she's gonna reach out and cast seventh level heal at two actions to kind of. She's like, let me heal this man. Like, let me do this. And she's feeling that call from the passage, and so it needs to make a fortitude save. However, I'm gonna spend hero point to make him roll twice. [00:40:31] Speaker B: One of Those was a 19. I'm not using that one. Okay, what is your DC31. A regular fail. [00:40:40] Speaker C: All right, that is 56 damage. [00:40:45] Speaker B: I was about to make a joke about. Oh, 5D6 is 56. But you said 56 damage. [00:40:51] Speaker C: Yep, 56. It's two action heal. So from 30ft away, you can target and heal 56. But if it's an enemy gets a fortitude save, and that is how much damage it takes. [00:41:03] Speaker D: Wow. [00:41:04] Speaker B: Wow. [00:41:05] Speaker A: Is he still up? [00:41:06] Speaker B: He is, like, you could barely tell the difference now between a skeleton, just a charred skeleton, and flame. But there's still just a little bit of kindling flame stitching between its bones. [00:41:17] Speaker C: Boomer, just trying to steal the fact [00:41:20] Speaker A: that I haven't hit him yet. [00:41:22] Speaker C: No, I was just wanting to heal him. [00:41:27] Speaker A: You can't heal undead. [00:41:28] Speaker C: I know. More symbolically heal him. [00:41:33] Speaker B: She wanted to heal him to death. [00:41:35] Speaker C: Yeah. That is the end of Val's turn. Oh, wait. I have persistent damage. [00:41:40] Speaker B: Oh, that's right. I'll roll the damage. [00:41:43] Speaker C: Sorry. [00:41:44] Speaker B: Five fire damage. [00:41:45] Speaker C: So I take nothing and I roll an eight. [00:41:48] Speaker B: Okay, so you're still burning. Go ahead and roll again. Because you have resistance to fire damage. 16 and it ends. That seems fair. You took no damage and you have resistance. I think it just ends. [00:42:01] Speaker C: That's fair. [00:42:02] Speaker A: Ouvet 60 foot cone. [00:42:06] Speaker B: Which corner do you want to start that cone from? [00:42:09] Speaker A: Well, [00:42:11] Speaker C: you can hit me. It's okay, man. [00:42:14] Speaker A: There's no way to hit me. [00:42:15] Speaker D: That's okay. [00:42:16] Speaker B: Well, you are all standing in a cluster and you're trying to use an aoe. [00:42:19] Speaker A: Well, it's a cone, like. It's a cone, like, right in front of me. [00:42:24] Speaker B: You could try shoving and then. [00:42:27] Speaker C: Yeah, shove Delilah out of the way. [00:42:29] Speaker A: I could do that. [00:42:30] Speaker C: Actually, I think Delilah could choose to fail. [00:42:33] Speaker A: Yeah, I'll do that. [00:42:35] Speaker B: So go ahead and make an athletics check. [00:42:39] Speaker C: Sw. All right, fine. [00:42:42] Speaker D: All you artists out there kn. We need swolver fan art. [00:42:46] Speaker B: Remember, remember, he is currently made of flames. [00:42:50] Speaker C: Hot Boy U, the hottest of men. You roll the one plus zero. [00:42:59] Speaker B: Plus zero. [00:43:00] Speaker C: I don't know if you can succeed this. [00:43:02] Speaker A: I don't know if that's possible for me to exceed. [00:43:05] Speaker C: No. His fortune's like his best save, man. I don't think. Yeah, you have to roll a 20. [00:43:09] Speaker B: This would. I will just say for the sake of just an understanding of what that means in the system. Uber. At this point, you would. It would be a difficult ask for you to shove a goblin. [00:43:20] Speaker C: Yeah, you could. Like I said, you could shove one of us, and we could choose to fail. A shove check. [00:43:27] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:43:27] Speaker B: That is. [00:43:28] Speaker A: Strength is 100. My. My dumb step. Uvaire steps forward for a minute and puts a hand on you, Val. And you can feel him lightly push against you. And thankfully, my fire doesn't hurt you somehow. True, Dad. [00:43:43] Speaker C: I have a dress on. Actually. [00:43:45] Speaker A: Let me make sure that doesn't hurt you. [00:43:46] Speaker B: If you're gonna move Val on your turn, you're gonna have to touch her. [00:43:49] Speaker C: It's okay. I can take a little bit of damage. [00:43:51] Speaker A: It'd be 3D6. [00:43:53] Speaker B: That's fine if you roll low. [00:43:55] Speaker C: I'm a tanky healer, so it's all good. Watch him roll. 3, 6. [00:44:00] Speaker A: Take 5. Damage. [00:44:01] Speaker C: Nice. All right, she'll just slide back as she's looking at her arm. That's all changed. [00:44:08] Speaker A: Everything's been blazing hot. Then suddenly, the temperature drops drastically as probably what would seem paradoxical Everything in front of Uvair, who is now a living flame, suddenly turns to ice as he casts howling blizzard. [00:44:29] Speaker C: He's bringing it back. He's bringing it back. [00:44:33] Speaker B: Uwe, you want a basic reflex. [00:44:34] Speaker A: Mm. [00:44:35] Speaker C: Get him uber. Get him. [00:44:37] Speaker B: 30. [00:44:38] Speaker A: Fail. Ooh, such a shame. So I roll 10 D6, and he [00:44:43] Speaker C: has, like, two hit points left. One. Nine. How many D6s? [00:44:50] Speaker A: 10. [00:44:51] Speaker C: Yeah, you literally can't not die. [00:44:54] Speaker A: So that's 11 on the first three. Die. [00:44:56] Speaker D: You really need to keep rolling. [00:44:59] Speaker B: One cold damage would have finished him off because he has a weakness to cold. [00:45:05] Speaker D: A pretty significant one. [00:45:06] Speaker A: But why don't we keep going? [00:45:08] Speaker B: Sure, sure. We want to know how dead he is. I also want to know how dead these desks and tables behind him. [00:45:14] Speaker D: I was thinking the same thing. [00:45:16] Speaker B: It is possible that Uwe's spell is going to destroy all of that stuff and the wall. [00:45:21] Speaker D: Boy, I sure hope there's nothing important over there. [00:45:23] Speaker A: 33. [00:45:27] Speaker C: You can destroy tables, but you can't destroy trees. [00:45:31] Speaker B: Uver you drop the temperature so sharply and significantly that Orvus in front of you just crumbles to charred ash and collapses. And as this wave of icicles just spread out in front of you, the desks and tables just splinter and collapse. And then the stone wall behind all of that starts, like, cracking, and a few chunks fall out from the walls. [00:45:55] Speaker C: What about the bear rug? [00:45:56] Speaker B: The bear rug just says ouch, and that will end the encounter. [00:46:05] Speaker D: Delilah is going right up to, uh, might. [00:46:10] Speaker A: Might hold off while he. The flames dissipate. [00:46:13] Speaker D: I don't. She does not care. [00:46:14] Speaker A: Oh, okay. [00:46:15] Speaker D: You're paying for that. I will write you up. [00:46:20] Speaker C: Oh, we've got so much money. [00:46:22] Speaker A: Uvaire's form. The flames go out, and Uvaire is there as he was once again leaning, but he's leaning heavily against the staff. Looking at the charred remains on the ground, I believe somebody else paid far greater price. [00:46:44] Speaker D: Oh, right. [00:46:47] Speaker C: Sorry. [00:46:50] Speaker A: He turns to look at the metal doors. I think it is best to find out what caused this before anything else happens. As he goes to them, [00:47:03] Speaker B: I will point out u. As you're approaching this door, the room is still unbearably hot. [00:47:09] Speaker A: Oh. [00:47:10] Speaker D: Oh. [00:47:10] Speaker B: Let me check my notes here on how hot. How hot is it? [00:47:15] Speaker D: It's a freaking sauna in here. [00:47:17] Speaker C: Are there unnatural fires in here? [00:47:19] Speaker B: Magic fires. [00:47:20] Speaker C: Magic fires. [00:47:21] Speaker B: It's probably about 110 degrees in here. Fahrenheit. [00:47:26] Speaker D: It's pretty hot. [00:47:27] Speaker C: It's. [00:47:27] Speaker B: Well, it's also humid. [00:47:30] Speaker D: Hot and humid. [00:47:30] Speaker A: Yeah. As the rose melting. [00:47:33] Speaker B: Yeah, it's getting really Humid in here. [00:47:35] Speaker A: It is a sauna. [00:47:37] Speaker D: I don't mind the heat, but it's the humidity, you know? [00:47:40] Speaker B: Uwe, as you approach that metal door, you notice two things. First off, this seems to be where the source of the heat is coming from, radiating off this door. Second, there is a sealed metal porthole in the middle of the door. [00:47:56] Speaker C: Porthole? [00:47:57] Speaker B: Yeah. So, like, there's. There's like a. There's a hole that one could look through, and there's, like, a aperture. Yeah, looky loo. There's a little lever on the side that if you were to, like, pull it down, it would presumably open the aperture so you can see through. [00:48:12] Speaker C: Oh, can he see his stature? [00:48:16] Speaker B: Yes, it is dwarf height. [00:48:17] Speaker A: Oh, that would make sense. [00:48:19] Speaker D: Look, I should probably report this. [00:48:25] Speaker A: You are welcome to do so if you wish, but I don't think you will have time. But before whatever is behind that door might cause more problems as Uver actively looks Uver. [00:48:35] Speaker C: Mm. [00:48:37] Speaker B: You pull the lever, the metal singes on your hand. Not enough to cause damage, but enough to be painful. And as you open the door, suddenly, there's just brilliant light in your face, as if you just opened a window to the sun. And as you adjust to the light and peer through, you see a variety of figures walking around in a room at the end of a long corridor that appears to be wreathed in flames. [00:49:05] Speaker C: Four figures, but there was only three put inside. [00:49:11] Speaker B: Uber. What is your Arcana bonus? [00:49:14] Speaker A: 26. [00:49:16] Speaker B: You recognize the figures immediately as Efreeti. [00:49:21] Speaker C: Cool. [00:49:23] Speaker B: And you see behind them something that your arcana skill is high enough to recognize as an open portal to the plane of fire. [00:49:31] Speaker D: Oh, well, that's not good. [00:49:35] Speaker B: And that's where we're gonna end this episode. [00:49:40] Speaker C: Fire. [00:49:42] Speaker B: Fire never changes. [00:49:43] Speaker A: I. I'll have you know I chose the spell fire body for flavor because I liked it. Especially how I'm. [00:49:51] Speaker D: I would like to point something out that whenever I was like, he's setting things on fire in the library, I [00:49:57] Speaker B: had zero, [00:50:01] Speaker D: zero clue or idea. Jordy didn't tell me anything. I'm just like, what's the old man doing? That's a problem. He's probably sliding things on fire. [00:50:09] Speaker B: I was just sitting here going, how much did I tell him? [00:50:12] Speaker D: You didn't tell me any of it. And it just happened to be the exact thing that he was doing things on. [00:50:19] Speaker C: To be fair, it is Harold. And there's an 80% chance he will reference fire in a fantasy sense. [00:50:25] Speaker D: This is very true. Am I known for that? [00:50:29] Speaker A: You cast one fireball every Caster you [00:50:31] Speaker C: play is a fire caster? [00:50:33] Speaker D: No, I like. I just like fireball. [00:50:36] Speaker B: I know you love fire Traplin. [00:50:39] Speaker D: Yes. [00:50:42] Speaker B: All right. And the hero point for this episode goes to Sam for playing Val as doing her mortal herald duties and escorting an undead into the afterlife. Yeah, some cool moments there. [00:50:57] Speaker A: And to be clear, this wasn't isn't a pity one. No, no. [00:51:01] Speaker D: He earned this one. [00:51:02] Speaker C: This is what it looks like when you earn a hero point. [00:51:06] Speaker D: Man, I wouldn't know what that feels like. [00:51:10] Speaker C: We love you, Harold. [00:51:11] Speaker A: We love you. [00:51:12] Speaker D: Thanks. I'm just happy to be here. This is great. [00:51:16] Speaker A: Can you say that without clenching your teeth? [00:51:17] Speaker D: No, I was smiling. I was smiling, you jerk. [00:51:23] Speaker C: Don't worry, Harold. You'll learn. Or will you? You'll learn that it's a really great time every time we meet up. You've already learned it, but you'll learn it even more. [00:51:35] Speaker A: Take your hairpoint and get out of here. [00:51:36] Speaker C: You're a c learner right now. And you'll happy person and you'll become an a happy person soon. [00:51:44] Speaker D: I'm having a strok. [00:51:49] Speaker C: Well, anyway, thanks for the hero points. This was fun. I'm gonna go try to convince Jordy to do one more episode and then I'm gonna, I don't know, go home. Don't take a sauna. Turn on the ac, It's a little warm. And go stalk some more community members and see if they're talking more about us because I like to interact with the community. You guys are so cool. [00:52:22] Speaker D: I don't think you should stalk anybody. [00:52:25] Speaker C: Not like stock stock. I'm not going to their houses. I'm just. I'm just looking at their free Internet posts. [00:52:31] Speaker A: That's true. [00:52:32] Speaker C: It's free. [00:52:33] Speaker B: It's free to the free Internet. Hurrah, hurrah. [00:52:38] Speaker C: Internet isn't free. But the posts on the Internet. [00:52:41] Speaker A: Oh my goodness, it is. [00:52:42] Speaker D: If you go to your local library. [00:52:44] Speaker C: Support your local library. [00:52:45] Speaker A: Don't burn it down. [00:52:47] Speaker C: Don't burn library. [00:52:48] Speaker D: Delilah will come for you if you do not. [00:52:51] Speaker C: Okay.
