[00:00:05] Speaker A: You are listening to an atomic broadcasting production. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the feature presentation. And remember, do your part, such as, like, comment rate. And don't forget to tell a friend to tune in for an atomic time.
[00:00:32] Speaker B: Now, where did we leave off?
[00:00:36] Speaker C: Ah, yes.
[00:00:39] Speaker B: As the party neared their target in.
[00:00:41] Speaker D: The forest, Uwe began to act strangely.
[00:00:46] Speaker B: When the thing that had been Uwe attacked Alward, they fought back, discovering that it had instead been a woodland doppelganger, taking his.
As the party raced back to camp, looking for the real Uwe, or what remained of him, they heard someone whistling.
[00:01:05] Speaker D: Vals campfire song up ahead.
[00:01:13] Speaker E: So I was looking for a show that I don't think exists.
[00:01:18] Speaker C: Oh, is it candy Cove?
[00:01:20] Speaker F: No, it's Crayola's 1000 leagues under the sea with children.
[00:01:25] Speaker E: No, it's a show that I have just the vaguest fondness of memories for, but it.
[00:01:32] Speaker G: Can you describe it?
[00:01:33] Speaker E: I'm trying.
[00:01:36] Speaker C: You know those shows where you. They reunite you with your long lost family members? I'm gonna do that for you.
[00:01:44] Speaker E: But no, it was. It was.
It was this old Mandev. Very old. He had a weird, I want to say, like, mustache or goatee combo. He dressed in, like, overalls and had a magical flying green house. And he painted. He would, like, go to different locations and paint, like, a kid version of Bob Ross. And I.
I remember liking the show, but I only remember watching it once in my memory.
[00:02:09] Speaker A: I don't.
[00:02:11] Speaker E: I've looked it up before. I just. I never.
[00:02:14] Speaker A: Was it. Was it on PBS?
[00:02:15] Speaker E: I don't know. Maybe. Let me take a. Let me. Let me take a look.
[00:02:20] Speaker C: So lost media is one of my favorite things.
[00:02:22] Speaker E: It was live action.
[00:02:23] Speaker A: Oh, true.
[00:02:24] Speaker C: I just love seeing.
[00:02:26] Speaker G: Was this an old man?
[00:02:27] Speaker E: Yeah, it was an old man.
[00:02:28] Speaker G: I think I know what you're talking about. I just can't think of the name of the show, which is a problem.
[00:02:32] Speaker F: I have not heard of.
[00:02:33] Speaker G: Oh, my gosh. I know what you're talking about. Oh, my. Stop looking at my screen. I'm trying to.
[00:02:39] Speaker C: And this is the worst thing about lost media. People can have a collective memory of something that doesn't exist. It's crazy.
[00:02:45] Speaker D: Was this Pixar's up from 2002?
[00:02:48] Speaker E: It was not Pixar's up.
[00:02:49] Speaker C: It doesn't paint. His house isn't green.
[00:02:52] Speaker A: Wait up. 2009.
Oh, wow.
[00:02:56] Speaker C: Don't say it.
[00:02:57] Speaker F: Was it Bob Ross? Not Ross.
[00:02:58] Speaker E: It was not Bob Ross. It was Bob Ross adjacent.
[00:03:03] Speaker A: Rob boss, though, on that note, I loved watching Bob Ross growing up. Saturdays.
[00:03:09] Speaker F: I never watched it until someone. People started talking about it all the time in college and watch one episode.
[00:03:16] Speaker A: It's cause you're a jugun.
No, I grew up in the time of reading Rainbow. Wishbone.
[00:03:23] Speaker F: Same.
[00:03:25] Speaker C: Jenkins is on a journey of self discovery.
[00:03:28] Speaker E: I think Abby is as well.
[00:03:30] Speaker F: Yeah, we never had like Nickelodeon or really much cartoon network or anything like that.
A lot of sitcoms.
[00:03:37] Speaker G: I watched a lot of sitcoms.
[00:03:39] Speaker A: Cliffhangers.
[00:03:39] Speaker E: I know I was able to look it up. I play for two silver magic in my whole life.
[00:03:44] Speaker A: Took the same time.
[00:03:44] Speaker G: Do you remember what you googled?
[00:03:46] Speaker F: Arthur always came on when my friends got off of school.
[00:03:48] Speaker E: Sven and Sam do not care about what me and Abby are going.
[00:03:51] Speaker G: Was it a kids show?
[00:03:53] Speaker E: I believe it was. And we're just stuck on this house.
[00:03:56] Speaker D: This is awful listeners, if you know what show we're trying to think of. It's apparently.
[00:04:01] Speaker E: No, it was that.
[00:04:02] Speaker G: What is it?
[00:04:02] Speaker E: It was Pappyland.
[00:04:04] Speaker A: What the heck is that?
[00:04:06] Speaker C: 3 seconds of google.
[00:04:09] Speaker F: I googled it.
[00:04:09] Speaker G: 3 seconds.
[00:04:10] Speaker F: Yes, it was. How did you find it so fast?
[00:04:12] Speaker C: I typed in kids painting show.
[00:04:15] Speaker E: I did, too, and nothing popped.
[00:04:16] Speaker C: I got Bob Ross Pappyland, a show called Art Attack. And we love painting, but Pappyland seemed to be the one.
[00:04:22] Speaker E: Yes.
[00:04:23] Speaker G: We had the giant pencil.
[00:04:25] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:04:25] Speaker D: Yes.
[00:04:27] Speaker A: What is this show?
[00:04:28] Speaker G: I don't know, but I loved it.
[00:04:30] Speaker C: I told you this. I am the one that reunites people with their old families. You know, I'm smacked in the face.
[00:04:39] Speaker G: With nostalgia right now.
[00:04:41] Speaker C: Welcome to nostalgic reunion with Michael.
[00:04:45] Speaker A: Abby, happy squeaks over here.
[00:04:49] Speaker D: Speaking of being happily reunited.
[00:04:51] Speaker C: Oh, but we don't know that yet. Spoilers.
[00:04:54] Speaker D: I think we broke Abby.
[00:04:55] Speaker G: I'm watching the intro to this show.
[00:04:57] Speaker E: I want to see it.
[00:04:58] Speaker F: Oh, my gosh.
[00:05:04] Speaker D: You are all standing in the middle of the grungear forest, seemingly at the end of a trail. The path that you have taken to reach this place has vanished behind you. The only way to continue without wandering off into the woods is continuing to follow the footprints that have led you this far further north and deeper into the grungir forest.
[00:05:26] Speaker F: When we hear the whistling.
[00:05:28] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:05:28] Speaker D: At the same time, you hear the sound of whistling approaching you from the woods. It seems to be whistling a song that Val wrote not too long ago. The two fetching fetchlings.
[00:05:42] Speaker F: I'm really concerned that this could just be another trap. And we're just gonna keep wasting our time with traps out here.
[00:05:48] Speaker E: I mean, probably, but we have to check.
[00:05:50] Speaker C: I was honestly hoping that song would find its way out of bed. Heads.
[00:05:55] Speaker F: You don't like the song.
[00:05:57] Speaker C: It's not my favorite.
[00:05:58] Speaker F: Oh, I thought.
[00:06:00] Speaker G: Great.
[00:06:00] Speaker F: Thank you.
[00:06:00] Speaker E: Nero's enjoyed the song.
[00:06:03] Speaker F: I'm gonna start going this way. Hey, over there.
[00:06:07] Speaker E: Don't shout.
[00:06:07] Speaker F: Oh. Why?
[00:06:08] Speaker E: What if it is a trap?
[00:06:10] Speaker F: And what is it? They already know we're here.
[00:06:13] Speaker C: Assert your dominance.
[00:06:14] Speaker F: They're singing my song.
[00:06:15] Speaker C: Trap them.
[00:06:17] Speaker F: Oh, that.
[00:06:20] Speaker A: The whistling stops.
[00:06:22] Speaker E: Okay, now we don't know where it's. Where it's at.
[00:06:24] Speaker F: I'll just keep going that way.
There we already.
[00:06:30] Speaker E: We killed you once. Don't make us do it again.
[00:06:38] Speaker A: And then it picks up again, so.
[00:06:40] Speaker F: I'll just go right to it.
[00:06:42] Speaker A: As you're walking, following the whistling, you enter this little clearing.
And in the clearing where you're expecting to see Uver, you don't.
[00:06:57] Speaker F: It is your backup character.
[00:06:59] Speaker G: What?
[00:07:00] Speaker F: Switching characters on us.
[00:07:02] Speaker E: He abandoned us.
[00:07:05] Speaker F: Let's kill this sparta sven. Wait. Uwehr told this guy about my sock?
[00:07:10] Speaker E: Or this guy was spying on us. All right, you have now traumatized Albert. I hope you're happy.
[00:07:16] Speaker C: I hope you're happy. Wait, wait.
[00:07:17] Speaker F: What do we see? What do we see?
[00:07:19] Speaker A: What do you see?
You see, sitting against a tree, a guy drinking from a stein. That looks very familiar to one of the party.
[00:07:32] Speaker G: It's a bottomless stein, y'all.
[00:07:34] Speaker F: Oh, no, he's a Kaden Kalian friend.
[00:07:40] Speaker A: He's just sitting there, you know, just resting.
A cz walks in and goes, ah, that was you calling for Uva, was it?
[00:07:52] Speaker F: Yeah. Um. How did you hear that song?
[00:07:56] Speaker A: Oh, lovely. Be honest, I don't. I don't think I really recall where I land it, but. Very catchy, isn't it?
[00:08:05] Speaker F: I only sung it once, like, yesterday.
[00:08:09] Speaker C: Zafir has his dagger out.
[00:08:10] Speaker A: Or maybe you heard it somewhere. The same place I did.
[00:08:13] Speaker F: Oh. Who are you?
[00:08:15] Speaker A: Oh, and my apologies. My name is Einar.
[00:08:20] Speaker F: Einar? Are you human?
Is that what we're seeing?
[00:08:23] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:08:24] Speaker E: Can I make a perception check?
[00:08:25] Speaker F: He said guy.
[00:08:28] Speaker A: And as he's talking, he just stands up. And one thing you'll notice, he's taller than you. Validore.
[00:08:35] Speaker F: Golly.
[00:08:36] Speaker G: Oh, my God.
[00:08:38] Speaker F: How tall is he?
[00:08:40] Speaker A: About six nine.
[00:08:41] Speaker F: Wow.
Okay.
[00:08:46] Speaker A: He'S not massive, as in just absolutely muscular, but you can just has a very good build, as in someone who's used to going through the wilds, or has been fit. And he carries a large shield on his back, along with a, you can see, sheathed. A striking bastard sword that. Well, you know, a bastard sword can be the one handed or two handed, but it looks like, for most people, not his size. It's mostly a two handed sword.
He has this cloak of animal furnace, like he's built or he's dressed to be out in the wild for a journey. Someone that you would expect to be going into a forest and camping, but also at the ready for. Well, this is the grungear forest.
Dirty brown hair, about shoulder length. Gives a lot of aragorn vibes for anybody who knows that.
There's another thing that some of the more observant people might. Might notice is that there appears to be underneath his hair. Just kind of tattoos that look kind of like clan tattoos.
[00:10:05] Speaker E: I was about to say.
[00:10:06] Speaker C: They're not runes, are they?
[00:10:07] Speaker F: He was raised by the dwarves.
[00:10:10] Speaker D: So, Jenkins, you mentioned that Albert is kind of studying this figure. What were you trying to see about.
[00:10:14] Speaker E: Him I don't trust? I don't know.
[00:10:19] Speaker F: Sven's playing another two episodes in a row.
[00:10:23] Speaker G: How do you spell your name?
[00:10:26] Speaker A: Einar.
[00:10:28] Speaker D: And you rolled a three?
[00:10:30] Speaker E: Yeah. No, I rolled a two. Plus 1113.
[00:10:35] Speaker D: If there is an illusion, you're not able to see through it. He continues to appear to be a tall man.
[00:10:40] Speaker E: I'm gonna have my mage hand pick up a stick and poke him.
[00:10:45] Speaker A: Is this how you greet most people?
[00:10:47] Speaker E: We just went through a lot. I don't know if you're a tree.
[00:10:53] Speaker A: She just stares at you.
[00:10:57] Speaker F: Yeah, a tree thing. Pretended to be our friend, you mean?
[00:11:00] Speaker A: Something like that? He just points to the tree behind him.
[00:11:04] Speaker E: No. Poke. Poke.
[00:11:06] Speaker C: I'm still a bit curious. And I imbue. Ignite on my dagger and start inching it towards your arm.
[00:11:13] Speaker A: He just like, slowly just reaches down and just, with his finger, pushes your dagger away from pointing at him.
[00:11:22] Speaker C: I just realized I probably can't reach your arm.
And it's only 2ft up.
[00:11:27] Speaker F: Um.
To you.
What are you doing here? We don't, um.
[00:11:35] Speaker A: Would you believe I'm lost?
[00:11:36] Speaker F: Yeah, I would, actually.
[00:11:38] Speaker G: We would believe that.
[00:11:39] Speaker F: Yeah, we were lost a bit ago, but now we're not. And we're trying to find a friend of ours.
[00:11:44] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:11:48] Speaker F: You said his name. Where is he?
[00:11:51] Speaker A: You would know.
[00:11:52] Speaker F: No, we.
[00:11:53] Speaker G: We're looking for him. Why would we?
[00:11:55] Speaker E: So am I.
[00:11:56] Speaker G: Why are you looking for him?
[00:11:58] Speaker A: I came into this forest with him.
[00:12:00] Speaker G: What?
[00:12:01] Speaker F: No, we've work came in with him just a couple days ago.
[00:12:05] Speaker A: Well, I came with him earlier than that. I've been here for a little while.
[00:12:09] Speaker F: How. Okay, wait. So Uvaro came here before and he seemed to lose some memory. Then he came with us, and now we came back in and I lost memory. And this morning he was a. This morning, he was a tree monster, and we're trying to find him. You met him before?
[00:12:26] Speaker A: Tree monster.
[00:12:27] Speaker F: You seen him before, and he's lost memory before?
[00:12:30] Speaker E: No. The true monster turned into him.
[00:12:34] Speaker F: What? You said you met him before. He lost memories, and he lost memories multiple times. What were you saying about that?
[00:12:41] Speaker A: I came into the forest with him because he had, I don't know, something to look for. We got separated, and I've been here ever since trying to find him, but unfortunately, I've been just shifted around in this God's forsaken forest.
[00:12:59] Speaker F: Actually, gozra likes this forest a lot.
He's guiding us through it right now.
[00:13:06] Speaker A: Well, maybe he guided me to you.
[00:13:08] Speaker F: Oh, well, he did take us to you.
They are a little fickle, though.
[00:13:15] Speaker A: Well, I mean, I know over. You apparently know u ver. Who are you again?
[00:13:20] Speaker E: Were you spying on us?
[00:13:23] Speaker A: How?
[00:13:24] Speaker E: You knew her song? Yeah.
[00:13:25] Speaker F: You knew my song?
[00:13:26] Speaker E: She just sang.
[00:13:27] Speaker A: I just heard that song in a tavern once.
[00:13:30] Speaker F: I've just never been sung in a tavern before.
[00:13:33] Speaker A: Look, I don't know where I heard your song.
I just heard the song, and I liked it.
[00:13:44] Speaker F: Well, I appreciate that.
[00:13:47] Speaker A: You're welcome.
[00:13:48] Speaker F: Uwe should be around here somewhere. We think he might have either gotten eaten by a tree or not.
[00:13:52] Speaker A: I highly doubt that. Uwe, the face of uwe that I know got eaten by a tree.
[00:13:58] Speaker C: After Saphir's done that thing with the dagger, you can see him just staring at you with his dark red eyes just straight into your eyes. And he says, I may not be the smartest one of the bunch, but I feel like something else is going on here besides you being in the forest at a different time with uwehr.
I want to know a couple of things.
How long ago did you hear that song?
[00:14:30] Speaker A: He just kind of just looks up and thinks.
No, it was, I think, a few years ago.
[00:14:45] Speaker C: I've already lost my patience. I'll take that as the answer. About time. Things I've experienced twice in this forest.
Things happening when they didn't actually happen.
And I have a feeling it has something to do with Albert over there.
[00:15:01] Speaker E: Zofia, I.
[00:15:03] Speaker C: Have you heard the dogs?
[00:15:05] Speaker E: What dogs? Also, stop giving away information about us so willy nilly every time.
[00:15:11] Speaker C: I believe he entered the forest. Before us or after us?
[00:15:16] Speaker A: Well, apparently before.
[00:15:19] Speaker C: That's what I'm saying. After us. But before us? You've been in here a different amount of time. Like I said, I may not be the smartest person, but I feel like time is being moved around just as must.
[00:15:33] Speaker A: Looks up and looks at the rest of you.
[00:15:36] Speaker E: Zafir. He entered the forest, um, years ago and hasn't been able to get out because he's not very good at the land, and the forest doesn't like him.
[00:15:47] Speaker C: He also heard a song that I despise that was only created.
[00:15:53] Speaker E: That's a little rude.
[00:15:54] Speaker C: Less than a month ago.
[00:15:55] Speaker G: It's about you and me.
[00:15:58] Speaker C: That's not important right now.
[00:15:59] Speaker E: I think that's why he doesn't.
[00:16:01] Speaker C: Like, he came into this forest after we did.
[00:16:05] Speaker E: Or, I mean, he could just be confused with bad memory as.
[00:16:10] Speaker A: Or, like, you know, if I can say something.
[00:16:14] Speaker E: No.
[00:16:15] Speaker A: Maybe not a part of this conversation.
Maybe your friend.
What'd you say your name was?
[00:16:23] Speaker F: Val.
[00:16:24] Speaker A: Val heard a tune and put lyrics to.
[00:16:29] Speaker E: Are you accusing our good friend of plagiarizing?
[00:16:33] Speaker A: No.
What?
[00:16:36] Speaker F: What year was it when you came in here?
[00:16:42] Speaker E: What?
[00:16:44] Speaker A: Well, I guess I need to ask the question. What year is it?
[00:16:47] Speaker C: We don't want to influence your answer with ours.
[00:16:50] Speaker A: Well, I can't tell you what. Okay.
[00:16:53] Speaker G: What year do you think it is?
[00:17:00] Speaker A: 42. 37. No, 43.
That. Honestly, I didn't pay attention.
[00:17:11] Speaker F: That would be several hundred years ago.
[00:17:16] Speaker E: So you've been what?
[00:17:19] Speaker C: Something is going on with time, and I don't like it.
[00:17:22] Speaker E: With that math prox, Albert's just going to ignore the new Mandev, turned to Val and be like, can I?
[00:17:27] Speaker D: Can?
[00:17:29] Speaker F: Yes.
[00:17:29] Speaker E: Um. I need bird money. Parent.
[00:17:33] Speaker F: What?
[00:17:34] Speaker E: Sigurd.
[00:17:35] Speaker F: Sigurd.
[00:17:36] Speaker E: Um. We'll talk after this.
[00:17:39] Speaker F: Poor Sigurd's exhausted. She's got the fatigued condition.
[00:17:44] Speaker E: That's unfortunate.
[00:17:45] Speaker F: Yeah. She flew it to a wall.
[00:17:48] Speaker E: I remember she hit the tree.
[00:17:51] Speaker C: She'll be the full avian Tarzan.
[00:17:55] Speaker E: We'll talk later in the day, I guess.
[00:17:57] Speaker F: Award. She puts her hand on your shoulder. Are you okay?
[00:18:01] Speaker E: I'm fine.
[00:18:02] Speaker F: Are you sure?
[00:18:04] Speaker E: Yes.
[00:18:05] Speaker F: You seem stressed.
[00:18:06] Speaker E: Yes.
[00:18:07] Speaker F: I understand that Uva is missing, and that is a stressful thing.
[00:18:11] Speaker E: Not. I mean, yes, but more.
[00:18:14] Speaker A: More specifically, if I can break in here.
[00:18:16] Speaker E: No.
[00:18:16] Speaker A: So how long have you known u Verde?
[00:18:19] Speaker E: How?
[00:18:19] Speaker F: Like a month, three months, two weeks or so.
[00:18:24] Speaker E: She's new.
[00:18:24] Speaker G: She's new. The rest of us, though, have known him for, I don't know, a few months.
[00:18:28] Speaker C: Do you know what any of his runes mean?
[00:18:30] Speaker A: You're talking about the runes are all of his body?
[00:18:32] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:18:33] Speaker A: No. It's what he was trying to figure out.
[00:18:35] Speaker C: That means we probably have known him more recently.
[00:18:39] Speaker E: No one knows what the runes mean.
[00:18:41] Speaker C: Well, didn't you figure one?
[00:18:42] Speaker F: Oh, you figured one out.
[00:18:44] Speaker A: We're talking. I mean, there's not many dwarves that I know that have runes all over his body, but. Short guy, white beard, hair?
[00:18:51] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:18:51] Speaker A: Looks like a ranger, but it's a wizard.
[00:18:54] Speaker F: That's a weird way to put it.
[00:18:55] Speaker G: That's the same person? Yes.
[00:18:57] Speaker E: Looks like me, but as a wizard.
[00:18:58] Speaker G: Off topic. How old are you?
[00:19:01] Speaker A: 33.
[00:19:02] Speaker G: Okay. Good to know.
[00:19:03] Speaker F: He's so much older than us.
[00:19:04] Speaker C: Time.
[00:19:06] Speaker A: Is he okay?
[00:19:07] Speaker E: No.
[00:19:10] Speaker F: Albert, I think you have to have a conversation with Zafir about this whole time stuff.
[00:19:15] Speaker E: I don't understand it myself, but I think I'm gonna stop doing things to him.
[00:19:20] Speaker F: He's. He doesn't seem well.
[00:19:22] Speaker C: You've been doing things to me.
[00:19:24] Speaker E: I've been. I've been granting you foresight upon a future you may choose.
Did you not think that was weird?
[00:19:31] Speaker C: That's time.
[00:19:36] Speaker E: Well, so do. You don't know where he's at?
[00:19:38] Speaker A: No, I don't.
[00:19:40] Speaker E: Do you want to?
[00:19:43] Speaker A: I'd like to find him.
[00:19:44] Speaker E: Do you want to come with us? And as I'm saying this, I'm sort of looking around the party and like, to look for her over here.
[00:19:51] Speaker A: Well, if you offer, I'll take it. It's been kind of lonely.
[00:19:56] Speaker E: You don't want to kill him, do you?
[00:19:58] Speaker A: No.
[00:19:59] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:20:00] Speaker F: What did you guys come in here originally to do again?
[00:20:02] Speaker A: He said he wanted to find something in the Grungia forest.
Something that could answer his questions.
[00:20:08] Speaker F: Did you know any of his friends?
[00:20:11] Speaker A: Um, no. There was only myself.
One of the hired hands.
That's. That's about it. There wasn't that many. You're talking about, like a party or something?
[00:20:27] Speaker G: Talking about what?
[00:20:28] Speaker A: A party.
[00:20:29] Speaker G: A party.
Um, yeah.
[00:20:31] Speaker F: So when was the last time you saw overd? Has it been just a long time, or was it recently?
[00:20:39] Speaker A: About a week ago.
[00:20:42] Speaker D: Hmm.
[00:20:42] Speaker F: Well, how was he? What do you talk about?
[00:20:47] Speaker A: What do you mean, what do we talk about?
[00:20:48] Speaker F: What was he trying to do at the time you last saw him?
[00:20:52] Speaker A: We were on a trail, trying to find whatever would get his answers.
[00:20:55] Speaker F: You said that was a week ago.
[00:20:57] Speaker A: From what I remember.
[00:20:58] Speaker F: Okay. Interesting.
[00:21:03] Speaker C: Time.
[00:21:06] Speaker F: Well, I think we all are fine.
[00:21:09] Speaker A: It.
[00:21:10] Speaker F: We.
[00:21:11] Speaker A: Hold. Hold on, hold on.
So I need to get this straight.
I saw Uwe about a week ago, but you didn't exist in our party.
[00:21:26] Speaker E: So while he's talking, Alor's just going to, like, lean over to Val and sort of absent mindedly speak. Like, do you think if he leaves the forest, he'll die?
Or do you think because the forest magic would still keep him alive because he hasn't aged beyond his years yet. Because I think he would die.
[00:21:46] Speaker F: D. Say something. What?
[00:21:49] Speaker E: Sorry.
[00:21:52] Speaker F: I think he's fine.
[00:21:53] Speaker E: Well, I mean, I kind of want to know.
[00:21:56] Speaker F: I think he's just confused. Oh, it's okay. We came in the about a week ago with him, all of us.
[00:22:03] Speaker A: So I haven't been just in the forest for a year.
[00:22:05] Speaker F: The last time he was in the.
[00:22:06] Speaker E: Forest was probably, like, three months ago.
[00:22:10] Speaker F: Well, that short.
[00:22:12] Speaker E: Yeah, he said he was in the forest before he came to us.
[00:22:14] Speaker F: Oh.
[00:22:15] Speaker E: So if it was that long ago, then he wouldn't. But if it was a century ago, like was stated a while ago, I think he would. I.
[00:22:22] Speaker A: He. I'll say the sfin misspoke. Oh, okay.
[00:22:27] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:22:27] Speaker F: He might just not know years that well.
[00:22:30] Speaker E: He's just a little confused.
[00:22:32] Speaker F: Yeah.
Would you. I guess you seem fine enough maybe to trust.
I think we're all in agreement in.
[00:22:43] Speaker A: Saying I may seem fine enough to trust. But I just met all of you.
[00:22:47] Speaker C: Hope I didn't come on too strong.
[00:22:50] Speaker A: No, the flaming dagger definitely didn't give a certain sort of.
[00:22:54] Speaker C: Oh, I've not done that to anyone else. I thought that was relatively normal.
[00:22:57] Speaker G: You didn't. Not to us.
[00:22:59] Speaker C: Sorry, I just don't know what burning flesh looks like anymore, I guess.
[00:23:02] Speaker F: No, you are pretty upfront about your murderous tendencies.
[00:23:05] Speaker E: Oh, that is true.
[00:23:08] Speaker A: Well, you seem like a fine chap.
[00:23:12] Speaker F: Our. What do you think?
[00:23:14] Speaker E: Well, I mean, he looks capable, if not very confused.
Um, and it's always good to have an additional person, especially since we lost Uvair. We need to find him.
And you sure you don't want to kill u ver? You seemed very angry with him.
[00:23:33] Speaker A: Not angry with u ver. I'm a little worried about him, honestly. But apparently he's been fine. Okay, but I've been stuck here. But apparently he forgot that, so I.
[00:23:41] Speaker C: Didn'T see any anger in his eyes.
[00:23:43] Speaker G: I forgot a lot of things.
[00:23:44] Speaker C: I think I know what anger feels like.
[00:23:47] Speaker E: I'll trust your judgment, Sofia.
[00:23:49] Speaker F: It's true. I'll have to keep looking for him.
[00:23:52] Speaker E: So if you want to tag along, you can use his horse. In the meantime, let's try the houses.
[00:23:59] Speaker A: There.
[00:24:00] Speaker G: Is it. Is it six foot nine man ties, though? Would the horse be over?
[00:24:05] Speaker E: Who did I give the pony to?
[00:24:07] Speaker F: Cornelius.
[00:24:07] Speaker E: Oh, was it Cornelius? I thought.
[00:24:09] Speaker F: I think they both have a phony.
[00:24:13] Speaker A: So you all are trying to find a bear because he got supplanted by a tree person?
[00:24:21] Speaker E: That's a good way of putting it.
[00:24:22] Speaker F: Yes.
[00:24:23] Speaker C: We went to bed, and when we woke up, he was not him.
[00:24:26] Speaker F: Yeah, I woke him up for a shift, and he seemed fine.
[00:24:29] Speaker E: And then we went off, and he tried to. The tree. Tried to kill. Kill me.
[00:24:35] Speaker C: And I killed him.
[00:24:36] Speaker E: Yes.
[00:24:37] Speaker A: And Uwe.
[00:24:38] Speaker E: We thought you were Uwe.
[00:24:40] Speaker A: Well, clearly I'm not.
[00:24:42] Speaker G: Just from the whistling.
[00:24:43] Speaker E: Clearly, you're too tall.
[00:24:45] Speaker A: Fair.
[00:24:46] Speaker G: Way too tall.
[00:24:47] Speaker F: But I was being led by Ghazra. So if we keep following his trail, you might find Uwe.
[00:24:53] Speaker A: What I know of Uwe, and what I hope is that he's all right.
He's a slippery dwarf.
Rather hard to kill if you've seen him fight.
Very tanky, honestly, for a wizard.
[00:25:14] Speaker E: Have you seen him turn into a dolphin?
[00:25:19] Speaker A: But truly, I think he will be all right. He has a connection with this forest, it seems.
[00:25:28] Speaker F: Yeah, he seemed to really want to come here.
[00:25:31] Speaker C: He does. He does seem like the type to go to the destination, even after he's been lost, as a reconnaissance point.
So maybe we'll find him where we're going.
[00:25:43] Speaker F: Well, we're still on a trail. We should keep following this, see if Gazra will take us to him.
[00:25:50] Speaker C: Exactly.
[00:25:51] Speaker A: Then if you'll have me, I would like to join you.
[00:25:56] Speaker E: We can't just leave a man in the forest who's been traveling for months, if not years.
[00:26:04] Speaker F: An unknown amount of time.
[00:26:06] Speaker A: Honestly, I'd like to not find that out sooner than later. Seems like an existential thing I do.
[00:26:12] Speaker C: Curious if you're going to die if you step out.
[00:26:15] Speaker F: All right, then. Let's just go. And Val just starts heading off.
[00:26:19] Speaker G: I'll follow Val.
[00:26:21] Speaker C: I will follow you.
[00:26:24] Speaker D: So you all head back the short distance from that clearing back to the footprint led trail, which seems to have not abandoned you. You mount back up on your horses, and you continue on down the trail.
[00:26:38] Speaker C: Is this trail.
Are they our footprints?
[00:26:42] Speaker D: No. They are the footprints you've been following.
[00:26:45] Speaker C: Okay, so why would they have stopped? Oh, no, wait. Do they continue going the opposite direction as well as the way we would going?
[00:26:53] Speaker D: So the way that would be further that you haven't seen yet, the footprints continue. But if you were to try to go back and follow the footprints the way you came, they seem to just stop short, and it's just forest.
[00:27:05] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:27:06] Speaker F: Oh, so we don't have our way back to the campsite?
[00:27:09] Speaker D: Not at present, no.
[00:27:10] Speaker C: I do not enjoy quantum footprints.
[00:27:13] Speaker F: Well, it's no sense in getting lost again. We might as well just follow the trail given to us and hope we find who there.
[00:27:21] Speaker D: So you continue on down the trail deeper into the forest.
And it's hard to tell, which becomes apparent to you first.
For Zafir, the tiebreakers probably goes to him. Smarteendeze. But everybody else may have heard it first.
There's the smell of body odor. Someone who hasn't bathed in a long time. And the sound of three guttural voices arguing.
[00:27:50] Speaker G: Oh, gosh.
[00:27:52] Speaker D: Does anyone here speak Jotun?
[00:27:54] Speaker C: Nope.
[00:27:54] Speaker F: Val does.
[00:27:56] Speaker D: So, Val and Einar, you can hear arguing up ahead in Jotun. Where? One. It just seems to be a disagreement over rations, you know?
[00:28:06] Speaker B: Oh, you've got more than me I handed over here.
[00:28:09] Speaker D: General discontent.
[00:28:11] Speaker E: I speak. You and I had no idea.
[00:28:13] Speaker D: So, Howard, you also hear and understand this argument?
[00:28:16] Speaker F: I think you're learning it recently.
[00:28:18] Speaker E: Yeah, I think it's draconic that I don't speak.
[00:28:20] Speaker F: Mm hmm. Sounds like something's up ahead.
[00:28:24] Speaker C: It smells bad.
[00:28:25] Speaker F: What are they sound? You said that they're guttural voices.
[00:28:28] Speaker B: Yeah, sure. What, you expect a troll sort of voices?
[00:28:32] Speaker C: Okay, he did use his troll voice. It sounds like trolls.
[00:28:37] Speaker F: Well, you know, sounds like some trolls over us telling us that the Eritzons were meeting with some trolls.
[00:28:45] Speaker E: That's true.
[00:28:46] Speaker F: This could be them.
[00:28:47] Speaker E: The trolls that they're meeting with.
[00:28:49] Speaker F: Yeah, maybe. Or some of the trolls. At least maybe they know where the camp is.
[00:28:54] Speaker E: Well, not all trolls are like pilgrim. But we can.
We can see if they're amenable to conversation.
[00:29:01] Speaker F: I don't know if they're gonna like us if they're with the iridescent.
[00:29:05] Speaker A: Hold on.
[00:29:06] Speaker E: Well, they don't know we guys speak to trolls.
[00:29:08] Speaker C: Only one. The other one we met was dead. Already do, actually.
[00:29:13] Speaker F: We've killed a couple trolls. Right.
[00:29:17] Speaker C: Oh, yes. I forgot about that doe. The other one. Yeah, that one wasn't a troll.
[00:29:23] Speaker E: But it doesn't matter.
[00:29:24] Speaker F: But we didn't talk to a troll, and he was nice.
[00:29:27] Speaker E: Well, and these one. These people have no. Would have no idea we're against the Aridsons.
[00:29:31] Speaker F: What?
[00:29:32] Speaker E: Um, to be honest, I doubt the person that we're hunting knows that word. Hunting them?
[00:29:37] Speaker C: I could show them my amulet.
We got that from one of them, didn't we?
[00:29:44] Speaker E: Yes, but they might.
Well, they're. They are trolls.
[00:29:48] Speaker A: So we're gonna try and talk to the trolls.
That's a new one.
[00:29:54] Speaker C: It's never failed us before.
[00:29:57] Speaker E: If you have fought trolls. We fought troll like beings.
[00:30:00] Speaker F: Yeah, we thought I fought a troll. Or tea. But, I mean, I'm very into talking and trying to settle things without killing.
[00:30:10] Speaker E: I'll go with you to talk to the troll.
[00:30:13] Speaker A: It's what makes you great, I'm sure.
[00:30:16] Speaker F: I think so, yeah. I, um.
[00:30:19] Speaker A: Oh, so you lost an arm.
[00:30:21] Speaker F: That was unrelated to that, actually.
Um.
[00:30:28] Speaker E: Weird thing to bring up now. You first met them.
[00:30:31] Speaker F: Um. So, Howard, what do you think? Should we just. Should we. I feel a little uneasy about this.
[00:30:38] Speaker E: I. I mean, I do, too, but I would. I don't think we'd be able to fight off three. How many voices did we hear?
[00:30:45] Speaker D: Just two.
[00:30:46] Speaker E: I don't think we really do well against two trolls.
[00:30:49] Speaker F: I could go take a look.
[00:30:51] Speaker C: You all do what you'd like. Going to.
[00:30:53] Speaker E: I know a lot about troll society.
[00:30:55] Speaker C: I'm going to hide.
[00:30:56] Speaker E: That's probably.
[00:30:57] Speaker F: If you go over there, can I, like, sneak and stealth up to, like, to see them?
[00:31:03] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:31:03] Speaker E: So, penalties do your armor give you?
[00:31:05] Speaker F: None.
[00:31:06] Speaker E: Okay. I would like to go with them.
[00:31:09] Speaker D: All right, so if I'm following correctly, Val, Zafir and Einar are going to sneak up to the trolls.
[00:31:18] Speaker E: Is Einar coming?
[00:31:20] Speaker C: I wasn't going to go over there.
[00:31:22] Speaker F: But I was just going to hide.
[00:31:24] Speaker D: Okay, so Zafir is going to hide somewhere where he can see the trolls and Val is going to sneak up to them.
[00:31:31] Speaker C: Or more like somewhere where the trolls can't see me.
[00:31:34] Speaker D: Gotcha.
[00:31:35] Speaker E: I'm going to attempt to sneak with Val.
[00:31:38] Speaker D: Oh, okay. That's right. Al. Word was going with val.
[00:31:41] Speaker F: Nero.
[00:31:42] Speaker G: I'm standing in the middle of the.
[00:31:44] Speaker A: Road like a dummy in our. Just leans down to near to near us and says, maybe we should get off the road a little bit.
[00:31:54] Speaker D: For the listeners benefit. Abby, just mind looking way, way up at a tall man real fast.
[00:32:02] Speaker E: Neros, can you make a wisdom safe.
[00:32:04] Speaker F: What? Oh, you're doing a thing.
[00:32:07] Speaker E: Yeah, I'll explain here in a second.
[00:32:08] Speaker G: 18.
[00:32:10] Speaker E: Oh, man. No.
So, everybody except for Neros and Einar.
[00:32:18] Speaker F: There'S a fear and vow.
[00:32:19] Speaker E: Yes, there's a fear and vow. See, a very vivid image of Al word trying to sneak and then tripping and falling and making, like, a lot of noise in the brush.
I rolled an eight.
[00:32:32] Speaker F: Ah, cool.
[00:32:33] Speaker E: And then what actually happens is I roll a 22 and inar and Neros just have an intense sense of deja vu and, like, they're forgetting a memory that should exist.
[00:32:50] Speaker F: I got a 23.
[00:32:51] Speaker D: So I got 23. Sorry.
[00:32:53] Speaker E: 22.
[00:32:53] Speaker D: 22. All right.
You seem to be able to enter the clearing unnoticed. So what I'm going to go ahead and do is bring us to a map.
[00:33:03] Speaker F: Oh, boy.
[00:33:05] Speaker D: I've got zafir tucked away behind a tree.
I've got Einar and Neros at the edge of the clearing.
[00:33:13] Speaker A: Einar has drawn his shield, you know.
[00:33:16] Speaker D: And right now, I've got Val and al word just kind of in the middle of the clearing. But you, too, can move to wherever you want, basically because you have passed that stealth check.
[00:33:28] Speaker F: Oh, really? I'll just go up behind this log.
[00:33:32] Speaker E: Same.
[00:33:33] Speaker F: So we're gonna sneak up to this log that's kind of 30ft or so away from them.
[00:33:38] Speaker E: While we're sneaking, can I try to identify these trolls?
[00:33:42] Speaker D: Yeah, since you've got some time, go ahead and give me a society check.
[00:33:46] Speaker F: Can I join in?
[00:33:47] Speaker D: Yes.
[00:33:48] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:33:48] Speaker D: What are your society bonuses?
[00:33:49] Speaker E: Plus 1515?
[00:33:50] Speaker F: Plus ten.
[00:33:54] Speaker D: Both of you succeed. You are both aware that these are frost trolls.
They are the weakest of trolls. Other trolls make fun of them.
[00:34:03] Speaker E: It's like the one, the dead one.
[00:34:05] Speaker F: We saw just two frost trolls.
[00:34:07] Speaker D: They are level four creatures, and you can each ask me a question.
[00:34:13] Speaker F: Do they have standard troll regeneration, or is their regeneration different?
[00:34:17] Speaker D: I'm gonna give that one for free because it's pretty common knowledge. Yeah, they've got standard troll regeneration.
[00:34:22] Speaker E: Do they have anything as frost trolls? Do they have any special abilities?
[00:34:28] Speaker D: What's unusual about frost trolls as opposed to regular trolls is they don't need to worry about snow or ice. It's not difficult terrain for them, and they don't slip any weaknesses.
Weakness to fire.
[00:34:43] Speaker F: That's fair.
[00:34:44] Speaker E: Why do I feel like we both just failed?
Critically?
[00:34:49] Speaker F: It's possible.
Um.
[00:34:52] Speaker E: Well, do you want to? I think you're better at the talking than I am. But I can, like, help with avoiding Phil paws, I guess. I guess I could charm them, maybe.
[00:35:05] Speaker G: I have a good track record with charming people.
[00:35:09] Speaker E: Slower savers. Wait. You still get a question?
[00:35:11] Speaker F: I already asked. Weakness.
[00:35:12] Speaker E: Oh, right, right.
[00:35:13] Speaker F: I don't feel.
I don't know why. I don't feel like I should talk to them, but I feel like I should.
[00:35:23] Speaker E: I mean, if right could exist, then that means other ones could be like him.
[00:35:28] Speaker F: It's true. All right, give me a second. She starts kind of shaking her arms, all right. I don't know why I feel so weird. And then she'll just step out from behind the log.
[00:35:43] Speaker C: Zafir draws his bow as he sees you stepping out from behind the log.
[00:35:48] Speaker F: And she'll just go, um, hello there.
[00:35:52] Speaker B: You what?
You what?
[00:35:55] Speaker F: What? Hello?
[00:35:58] Speaker B: The old thing speaking. And Yokin. We'll say, hello. Hello.
[00:36:03] Speaker F: Hi. Um, we were traveling here in the woods, and we just heard some friendly voices and thought we'd say hello and see how you're doing.
[00:36:14] Speaker E: And then with her val saying we, I'm gonna pop up and say hello.
[00:36:19] Speaker F: I didn't think about that. I guess I don't lie, so it makes sense.
[00:36:23] Speaker B: All right. There's cute. There's two of them.
What are you doing in our forest?
[00:36:30] Speaker F: You're looking for a friend of ours, right?
[00:36:33] Speaker B: Well, you can just turn around and leave right now. We's garden this here path.
[00:36:39] Speaker E: What? Sorry.
[00:36:40] Speaker F: Why garden the path? We kind of actually need to go this way. Is there a particular reason?
[00:36:46] Speaker D: One of them just, like, sighs very heavily and just, like, looks off to the side, the other one.
[00:36:52] Speaker B: Negotiations? Something like that.
[00:36:55] Speaker E: What's ahead in the path?
[00:36:58] Speaker B: Little meat bag not much bigger than the two of you.
[00:37:03] Speaker E: Just the meat? Just one meat bag?
[00:37:06] Speaker B: Well, yeah. Her and offense.
[00:37:08] Speaker E: And they're negotiating with what?
[00:37:10] Speaker B: Oh, just, you know, the boss man.
[00:37:14] Speaker E: What's the boss man? Is it your boss man?
[00:37:16] Speaker B: Yeah, he's our boss. Mandy man. He boss man of the woods.
[00:37:19] Speaker F: Oh, all these woods?
[00:37:20] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:37:21] Speaker F: Wow. That's impressive.
[00:37:23] Speaker B: Yeah, it is. And I'm his second hand man.
[00:37:25] Speaker D: The other one, like, knocks him.
[00:37:26] Speaker B: No, I am.
[00:37:27] Speaker D: They start, like, arguing again.
[00:37:29] Speaker F: Well, you must both be very capable warriors of his to guard this path for him.
[00:37:33] Speaker B: Of course, he only chose the best.
[00:37:36] Speaker F: Yeah, it's interesting, though. Cause best implies only one.
[00:37:43] Speaker E: Like, real fast.
You get onto me for doing this every time I try. And now you're trying?
[00:37:52] Speaker F: Yep.
[00:37:53] Speaker B: See? See? She's right. That's what I was telling you. There's only one way to settle this.
You kill that one, I'll kill that one. First one wins.
[00:38:02] Speaker E: Hold on.
[00:38:03] Speaker D: That's.
[00:38:03] Speaker E: That's not. That's not fair.
[00:38:05] Speaker B: Oh, you've got a better plan?
[00:38:07] Speaker E: Well, see, I'm probably a lot easier to kill than my friend here.
[00:38:12] Speaker F: Hello.
[00:38:13] Speaker E: Um, so whoever has her will have a harder time of it, right? So it doesn't prove anything.
[00:38:18] Speaker B: So you. You know her pretty well, right?
[00:38:21] Speaker E: Decently.
[00:38:22] Speaker B: What sort of handicap? Like a five minute head start or a five second head start?
[00:38:29] Speaker E: I don't understand what the question is.
[00:38:33] Speaker B: If we're making this fair, how much extra time do I get to beat.
[00:38:38] Speaker F: Her up before Al's gonna start? Like, motioning to the others to, like, maybe get ready to fight?
[00:38:44] Speaker A: I can hear this, right?
[00:38:46] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:38:47] Speaker D: And in r, you do speak Jotun, so you hear what's. What they're talking about.
[00:38:50] Speaker E: So why don't you fight each other to see who's stronger?
[00:38:56] Speaker B: We get in trouble for doing that.
[00:38:59] Speaker F: Oh, that's smart.
[00:39:01] Speaker B: Yeah. So many lives lost.
[00:39:06] Speaker F: I mean, would it be alright if we just went around geoise?
[00:39:10] Speaker C: Guys, can I just cast darkness between them?
[00:39:14] Speaker F: I mean, that's funny.
[00:39:15] Speaker E: We don't know if they have magical dark vision, but, like, I'm not saying it's a bad idea. I'm just. I don't want you to waste another.
[00:39:22] Speaker D: Spell I'll put out there. You can see the frost and they're having this conversation. You would have time to recall knowledge if you'd like.
[00:39:29] Speaker C: I'm gonna do that, then.
[00:39:30] Speaker D: All right. What's your society bonus?
[00:39:33] Speaker C: I hope you rolled. Well, this is blissery.
[00:39:37] Speaker D: That's a success. You also now know that they are level four frost trolls. And you know that they do have dark vision.
[00:39:46] Speaker A: Can I see them?
[00:39:47] Speaker D: I know. Yeah, you can see him.
[00:39:48] Speaker G: We're just kind of near us.
[00:39:49] Speaker D: You can also see him.
[00:39:50] Speaker A: Go ahead.
[00:39:51] Speaker D: All right. What's your bonus iron?
You're not sure. Near us. Would you like to resist? See if you know what they are.
[00:39:59] Speaker G: Sure.
[00:39:59] Speaker D: What's your society bonus?
[00:40:01] Speaker F: Or your gossip lore?
[00:40:03] Speaker D: Or your gossip lore?
[00:40:04] Speaker G: Well, my society is 13 and my gossip lore is ten.
[00:40:07] Speaker F: That's fine.
[00:40:08] Speaker D: Critical success.
[00:40:09] Speaker E: Nice.
[00:40:10] Speaker D: Presumably, you are 100% confident that these are normal frost trolls. What would you like to know about them?
[00:40:17] Speaker G: What did we not learn before that? We want to know.
[00:40:20] Speaker F: We know a special ability, and we.
[00:40:21] Speaker E: Know the weakness saves might be good, best or worst.
[00:40:25] Speaker C: I have a card here that says if we know their resistance, the foe loses a resistance of their choice. Or my choice.
[00:40:32] Speaker E: That'd be useful in case.
[00:40:34] Speaker C: Okay, it's just I play it after I learn of the foes resistance.
[00:40:37] Speaker E: Weakest save is my preferred, but that's up to you.
[00:40:40] Speaker D: You do have two questions. Because you critically succeed.
[00:40:42] Speaker G: Oh, okay. Well, let's just go with both of those weakest save and any resistances.
[00:40:47] Speaker D: All right. No resistances.
Their weakest save is will.
And because there's no resistances, I'll toss out there for free. They are immune to cold.
[00:40:57] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:41:00] Speaker C: I was thinking about with a freeze spell.
[00:41:03] Speaker E: What if we would like to bargain with your leader?
[00:41:07] Speaker B: You have to wait your turn. But which will be hard because you'll be dead, probably before her.
[00:41:13] Speaker F: Could we just wait here? Not get, not fight?
[00:41:17] Speaker D: You could leave, but then we wouldn't.
[00:41:19] Speaker E: Be able to part parlay with your leader.
[00:41:22] Speaker B: Whoa. That sure is a difficult situation for you.
[00:41:27] Speaker F: Well, that seems that you don't have to be mean about it.
[00:41:30] Speaker B: I feel like being antagonistic at the moment.
[00:41:34] Speaker E: Well, calm down.
[00:41:37] Speaker G: Can I cast charm?
[00:41:39] Speaker D: What's the range on charm?
[00:41:41] Speaker G: 30Ft. I guess I would have to move up.
[00:41:44] Speaker D: Yeah. Would you like to do so stealthily?
[00:41:50] Speaker G: The problem is I can only target one.
[00:41:52] Speaker E: You can't stealthily cast charm.
[00:41:55] Speaker D: Well, she could get within range stealthily.
[00:41:57] Speaker E: Oh, that's true.
[00:41:58] Speaker G: I can only cast it on one creature.
[00:42:00] Speaker A: Yeah, make him fight for you.
[00:42:03] Speaker G: Fight. Which one wants to be charged?
[00:42:05] Speaker D: Actually, if they were to cry critically, fail the charm, the save against charm, they would become helpful, which means that they will go out of their way to do things for you. As long as they don't. They aren't at the expense of this creature's goals or quality of life.
[00:42:20] Speaker F: And they like to hurt each other and they're being held back from it currently.
[00:42:23] Speaker E: I say go for it.
[00:42:25] Speaker F: I think it's cool.
[00:42:26] Speaker G: Okay, then I would like to stealth up and cast charm.
[00:42:33] Speaker D: So go ahead. Make a stealth check to see if you can get within range without them noticing.
[00:42:40] Speaker E: Can I use the eight action to cause a distraction with either society or diplomacy since we're talking with them?
[00:42:46] Speaker D: Yeah, go ahead.
[00:42:47] Speaker E: Cool.
[00:42:48] Speaker F: Hey, that was smart.
[00:42:54] Speaker E: 22 to eight. So you get a plus one.
[00:42:57] Speaker D: Mm hmm.
[00:42:58] Speaker E: I don't like that face. What is that?
[00:43:00] Speaker G: Seven on the die for a ten total.
[00:43:05] Speaker F: I mean, I don't know if they'll have a problem at this point with her just walking up because we're already talking with them.
[00:43:11] Speaker G: Yeah, yeah, that's true.
[00:43:13] Speaker D: So neros with a. What was it? A ten total?
[00:43:17] Speaker G: Ten?
[00:43:17] Speaker D: A ten on your stealth, you begin stepping into the clearing, but you have barely made it past the edge of the trees before one of the points over and is like, oh, you've got another little friend and you're just like, just standing up in the open.
[00:43:33] Speaker G: That's not within 30ft, is it?
[00:43:35] Speaker D: Nope.
[00:43:36] Speaker F: Um. Hey. Yeah, that's another one of our friends. Hey, Neros, come on up here.
[00:43:40] Speaker G: What are we doing?
[00:43:42] Speaker F: Um, well, now there's three of us and only two of you.
[00:43:45] Speaker B: Oh, wait, wait, hold on. We've got two squishies and one with a pokey stick.
[00:43:51] Speaker E: Actually, no, she, she would. She's much. She would more survivable than I am slowly walking up.
[00:43:57] Speaker F: You think she's squishy? Look at her.
[00:43:59] Speaker D: Neros make a deception check.
[00:44:01] Speaker G: I'm very, very nice.
22 nice.
[00:44:07] Speaker D: With the 22 on your deception check. They don't really seem to notice or pay attention to where you're walking or how you're walking. And you are able to position yourself pretty much as we will, as long as you don't pass vow.
[00:44:19] Speaker G: Okay. Is there one that seems a little less antagonistic than the other right now? Are they both pretty equal and it won't matter.
[00:44:27] Speaker D: The southern one is a little bit more antagonistic, but only vaguely more. They're both pretty, pretty keen on this idea of teaming up and beating you guys up in a race.
[00:44:37] Speaker G: We haven't used a hostile action against them right now.
[00:44:41] Speaker F: Mm mm.
[00:44:41] Speaker D: No.
[00:44:43] Speaker G: So Neros gets this look in her eye and fog starts wrapping around her hands and she looks at the northern one. She's like, we can all be friends here.
And she casts charm as I drop my dice.
[00:45:00] Speaker E: And just to clarify, are you up casting that to at least second level?
[00:45:05] Speaker G: Sure.
[00:45:06] Speaker D: Okay. Now that they're kind of petite, has a question.
[00:45:11] Speaker C: Well, the question was going to be how much of a, like a wide turn could I do? Because in the map it looks like there would be enough space for me to go through the trees without them noticing. And with them distracted, I would like to see if I can get behind them.
[00:45:29] Speaker D: You definitely would have plenty of time to do that. Yeah. I'm going to say to do that unnoticed is going to be a stealth check. But because of the situation, because Al word is providing a distraction, they're talking, looking in the direction. You've got plenty of dense foliage. Go ahead and make your stealth with a plus four circumstance because you're not trying to sneak into the clearing. You're trying to sneak around the clearing in the foliage.
[00:45:53] Speaker E: Oh, that's good.
[00:45:55] Speaker F: Pretty good. It's got a big bonus, too.
[00:45:58] Speaker C: 31.
[00:45:59] Speaker D: That's definitely a success. So were you wanting to get over to this like brush and trees behind them here?
[00:46:05] Speaker F: Yes, behind them to their northwest.
[00:46:07] Speaker D: So now the party has the trolls flanked. They're really spread out. They're like 20ft apart away from the trolls. But they do have them flanked now with Zafir behind them and Val. Neros and Albert in front of them. Einar is still on the edge of the clearing. Einar, were you still on your horse or had you dismounted?
[00:46:24] Speaker A: I. Dismount.
[00:46:25] Speaker E: Oh, I'm just imagining Zafir sneaking on the horse.
[00:46:32] Speaker A: We. He. I want. I really want him to stay mounted. But he would have dismounted. Yeah, actually, no, I. Yeah, just because of the distance. He. I can justify that in my head.
[00:46:42] Speaker F: Hooray.
[00:46:43] Speaker D: Alright, so let's go ahead then and let's roll initiative.
Zafir, would you like to keep your stealth?
[00:46:55] Speaker C: Sure.
[00:46:55] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:46:56] Speaker E: Albert, Howard looks very overwhelmed right now with some options. He has a twelve options.
[00:47:04] Speaker D: Neros.
[00:47:05] Speaker G: 20.
[00:47:06] Speaker F: Nice.
[00:47:07] Speaker D: Einar?
[00:47:09] Speaker A: 22.
[00:47:10] Speaker F: Nice.
[00:47:11] Speaker D: Val.
[00:47:12] Speaker F: 18.
[00:47:14] Speaker D: All right, so I will say Neros is not at the top of this roster right now, but since Neros action was the one that was causing the stuff. Zafir Einar, of course you could wait and let her do her thing if she wants to go first.
[00:47:30] Speaker C: I think as long as I'm not foregoing a readying in action.
[00:47:34] Speaker D: So you could. Since you're at the top of the round, you could ready in action. You're still hidden. They don't know you're there. You could ready something without having any impact on what choices they might make.
[00:47:43] Speaker E: What are you ready to do? What?
[00:47:45] Speaker C: Basically just shooting if it looks like I need to.
[00:47:49] Speaker D: So what trigger would cause you to.
[00:47:51] Speaker C: Decide to shoot if somebody else were to make a hostile movement against them?
[00:47:57] Speaker A: Okay, I'll also ready in action.
[00:48:00] Speaker D: It's not your turn yet. Haha. Because it is the northern frostrel whose turn it is now. And he is seeing near us beginning to cast a spell.
[00:48:10] Speaker F: Okay, so he gets a flyde turn there, even though we're starting on her casting that spell.
[00:48:15] Speaker D: Right, because Meros is starting the spell and he's like, oh, you're right, sorry.
[00:48:19] Speaker B: He says, I don't like that at all.
[00:48:21] Speaker D: And he pulls out a hatchet because he didn't have one and makes his way up to the log and swings his hatchet at Nero's, trying to interrupt her.
[00:48:31] Speaker E: Casting a reaction from petite.
[00:48:33] Speaker D: Yep, because he is making a hostile action faze bolt.
[00:48:38] Speaker C: It's with my spell strike. All right, so I'm going to let loose an arrow from. Well, actually, how close are they?
[00:48:45] Speaker D: You can hit either of them with no penalties, but this guy was the one who triggered it, so you would want to shoot him.
[00:48:52] Speaker C: Wait, which one?
[00:48:53] Speaker D: The other one. The one that's just, like, on the other side of the log. Because he's tall and he's got long arms. He's 10ft away, but he can still reach.
[00:49:00] Speaker C: I'm not going to use face bolt. I'm going to use ignite.
[00:49:04] Speaker E: Nice.
[00:49:04] Speaker C: Or ignition solid.
[00:49:06] Speaker F: I know they have a fire weakness.
[00:49:07] Speaker E: And we know that fire stops their regeneration.
[00:49:11] Speaker C: So spell strike with ignition. Just the same as I used on new bear.
[00:49:17] Speaker A: New fair.
[00:49:19] Speaker C: So that is a 26.
[00:49:23] Speaker D: That's a hit.
[00:49:24] Speaker F: Okay, off guard.
[00:49:27] Speaker D: It's close, but still.
[00:49:30] Speaker C: We got six piercing, six for fire damage from the bow.
Ooh, seven fire damage from the arrow or from the spell.
[00:49:47] Speaker E: Nice.
[00:49:48] Speaker D: That looks like that significantly injured him. And you can see, like, the flame just searing his floor. Flesh.
[00:49:56] Speaker C: So that's what flames on flesh looks like.
[00:50:00] Speaker G: Oh, my gosh.
[00:50:02] Speaker D: This is. This is fun.
He had no idea you were behind him, and you just shot him in the back with his weakness. I'm gonna give him a minus one circumstance to his attack roll because you're throwing him off.
[00:50:13] Speaker E: Nice.
[00:50:14] Speaker C: Now I'm just wondering what the other troll is gonna do to me.
[00:50:16] Speaker F: Say hello.
[00:50:17] Speaker D: So that's a 28 to hit.
[00:50:19] Speaker G: That hits.
[00:50:21] Speaker D: And that's 17 slashing dicks.
[00:50:24] Speaker F: But wait.
Of redemption.
[00:50:27] Speaker E: Nice.
[00:50:28] Speaker F: Either Neros is unharmed or it Neros will get a eight resistance against it and the troll will become enfeebled too.
[00:50:38] Speaker D: This is one of those situations where that's actually a tough choice.
[00:50:41] Speaker F: I gotcha. I got you, dearest.
[00:50:44] Speaker B: My strength is my thing. I all I've got.
[00:50:46] Speaker D: I'm gonna say no damage.
[00:50:48] Speaker E: Nice.
[00:50:51] Speaker G: Okay.
[00:50:52] Speaker E: I do like to think he says that. Right.
That's all I have to my name.
[00:50:57] Speaker F: I feel bad.
[00:50:59] Speaker D: All right, in our.
[00:51:01] Speaker A: How far is the troll away from me, you nar.
[00:51:03] Speaker D: The closer one who has already engaged in hostilities is 510, 1520, 2030. Sorry, 40ft away.
[00:51:10] Speaker E: Which is within the range of your. Your horse.
[00:51:12] Speaker D: It's within horsin range.
[00:51:14] Speaker A: It is. So he's gonna burst out of the forest and just ride up and dismount.
[00:51:25] Speaker C: So heroic.
[00:51:27] Speaker E: I'm so excited to know what class you are.
[00:51:29] Speaker A: Dismounts. He just slides off the horse, kind of slaps it. So it kind of runs away a little bit.
[00:51:37] Speaker C: Off you go.
[00:51:38] Speaker A: And with a mighty two handed slash, he slashes towards the troll.
[00:51:43] Speaker E: That's cool.
[00:51:45] Speaker F: First role of the character.
[00:51:47] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:51:48] Speaker C: Initiative.
[00:51:50] Speaker E: First important role.
[00:51:51] Speaker A: 35.
[00:51:52] Speaker E: Oh, that's a fighting number right there. Are you a fighter?
[00:51:55] Speaker G: Oh, that's a crit.
[00:51:59] Speaker F: He does the fighting. He does.
[00:52:01] Speaker E: We're about to be out shot shined, everyone.
[00:52:08] Speaker A: 52.
[00:52:09] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:52:11] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:52:14] Speaker D: Well, he's bloodied now.
[00:52:16] Speaker F: Hold on. He's also off guard till the start of your next turn because you have a sword and you crit it.
[00:52:23] Speaker E: Nice.
[00:52:24] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:52:25] Speaker D: So he's just straight up off guard. You don't need to flank him.
My goodness. Oh, no. What have you done to me?
[00:52:31] Speaker F: That was two handed, right? D twelve.
[00:52:34] Speaker A: Mm hmm. I rolled a ten and a twelve.
[00:52:36] Speaker E: Does the bat. Does the bastard sword do d eight s and d twelve s?
[00:52:38] Speaker F: Yeah, if it's one handed. D twelve is.
[00:52:40] Speaker E: I thought it was d six then. D. That's such a good source.
[00:52:43] Speaker F: An amazing sword. It's like the best sword I have.
[00:52:47] Speaker E: A care. I made a career.
[00:52:48] Speaker G: You okay?
[00:52:51] Speaker F: It's near death.
[00:52:53] Speaker E: Oh, my goodness.
[00:52:54] Speaker G: Face that. He's making right now.
[00:52:56] Speaker D: But it is the other troll's turn. He's gonna step into position behind Einar, so he's now flanking him with the other troll.
[00:53:04] Speaker A: Oh, hello.
[00:53:06] Speaker D: And we'll see how long we have Einar with us.
[00:53:09] Speaker F: That would be really funny.
[00:53:11] Speaker E: It would be very funny.
[00:53:12] Speaker D: He's not gonna bother drawing his hatchet. He's just gonna go straight for the chump. He's going to eat your head with an 18.
[00:53:20] Speaker A: No.
[00:53:26] Speaker D: Forget about it.
He just snaps twice. Just.
[00:53:32] Speaker E: I'm down.
[00:53:33] Speaker D: That's the end of his turn. Got an eleven on the second roll.
[00:53:37] Speaker E: Oh, my goodness.
[00:53:38] Speaker C: He's just preparing his jaws.
[00:53:39] Speaker D: You know, boy, and I was being prepared to be all dramatic about Einar here and everything.
All right, Neros, it is your turn.
The southern of the two trolls who just chomped uselessly at Einar is still a valid target to be charmed.
[00:53:55] Speaker G: Okay, give me a will save.
[00:53:58] Speaker D: How's an 18 for you?
[00:54:00] Speaker G: That's a fail.
So it becomes friendly toward us. It can't use hostile actions against us.
So that's great.
[00:54:13] Speaker E: It's very useful.
Cause that means Henar is no longer.
[00:54:22] Speaker D: Off. He's no longer flanked because he's no longer fighting.
[00:54:27] Speaker G: Nero sends that spell out.
She's like, we can all be friends here.
[00:54:34] Speaker B: Wait, wait. She's got a point. Like, I mean, we could just kill one of us. Preferably not me.
[00:54:44] Speaker G: No, no, no. We're not gonna kill you.
We're friends, right?
[00:54:49] Speaker D: Right.
[00:54:50] Speaker G: All right, everyone. Yeah, ignore him.
[00:54:53] Speaker E: He seems nice.
[00:54:55] Speaker G: He's fine.
[00:54:56] Speaker D: And, Neros, you have one action remaining.
[00:54:57] Speaker G: I have one action left.
[00:55:00] Speaker A: I love that we could just kill one of us. Preferably not me.
[00:55:04] Speaker E: If it is me, I understand.
[00:55:06] Speaker B: But understandable. Have a nice day.
[00:55:10] Speaker F: I can't wait.
[00:55:14] Speaker G: I'm gonna move over to my neutral friend.
[00:55:17] Speaker F: Oh, neutral. I said neutral.
[00:55:21] Speaker C: That's what I heard.
[00:55:22] Speaker G: New space troll friend.
[00:55:24] Speaker E: I also heard neutral.
[00:55:26] Speaker B: Hey, buddy.
[00:55:27] Speaker G: Hi, bud.
[00:55:28] Speaker D: Hi. He just kind of lops his big, gross arm around you.
[00:55:32] Speaker G: Thank you. That's a beautiful smell.
[00:55:35] Speaker E: Neros, you sure do know how to make friends.
[00:55:37] Speaker G: Yeah.
[00:55:38] Speaker E: All right.
[00:55:39] Speaker B: I'm glad you noticed. I've been working on it for weeks, so.
[00:55:41] Speaker A: Good.
[00:55:46] Speaker G: All right, everyone, get the other one.
[00:55:50] Speaker D: Val, it is your turn.
[00:55:52] Speaker F: Sigourn's gonna move here and use her support benefit.
[00:55:56] Speaker E: And what's that do again?
[00:55:58] Speaker F: She pecks at his eyes. Until the start of my next turn, my strikes that damage the creature. Deal. One d four. Persistent, bleed and dazzle the creature. So now I'm going to roll to attack this off guard creature. And that is a 24.
[00:56:13] Speaker D: That's a hit, man.
[00:56:16] Speaker F: I'm rolling bad damage today. That's eight damage.
D, four blood bleed. And it is now pure, blind, dazzled dazzle. And I'm gonna attack again with a 28 to hit.
[00:56:29] Speaker D: That is a crit against his off guard AC.
[00:56:33] Speaker F: Ooh, I like that.
[00:56:35] Speaker A: What you. What was your hit?
[00:56:37] Speaker F: 28. Oh, against off guard.
[00:56:40] Speaker A: I really crit.
[00:56:41] Speaker E: Yeah, fighters are fun.
[00:56:44] Speaker F: Oh, there we go. A total of 45 damage.
[00:56:51] Speaker E: Just casually. There we go. 45 damage.
[00:56:55] Speaker F: It was my second attack, so forceful, Proc. And he gave a plus four damage bonus.
[00:56:59] Speaker E: Nice.
[00:57:00] Speaker D: So you position Sigurd in over there. She starts clawing and scratching at his eyes, and you, like, slash at his arm a little bit and get a little bit of cut. And then he moves his arm up to try to wave Sigourn off. And you just get him right in the gut and he collapses.
[00:57:17] Speaker E: Nice.
[00:57:18] Speaker F: Oh, I guess we know each one's stronger, right?
[00:57:22] Speaker E: The other one still stands me.
[00:57:24] Speaker B: Look at me. Not even a scratch.
[00:57:26] Speaker F: I was referring to me. All right.
[00:57:29] Speaker E: Yeah, obviously.
[00:57:33] Speaker B: Initiative now, because we're all friends here.
[00:57:37] Speaker G: Good job, buddy.
[00:57:38] Speaker B: Well, thank you. See, I. I knew it was all a ploy to get rid of the weak one here.
[00:57:45] Speaker D: Yes, he was jabs his thumb over at the other tree.
[00:57:48] Speaker G: He was definitely the weak one. You are far superior in strength and smell than he is.
[00:57:55] Speaker C: Zafir hops out of the tree and joins the rest of the party.
[00:57:58] Speaker B: Oh, you got another little friend.
[00:58:01] Speaker G: Yeah.
[00:58:01] Speaker C: What did I miss?
[00:58:02] Speaker G: He's one of our friends.
[00:58:03] Speaker B: Is he for eating?
[00:58:05] Speaker G: No, no, no. He's one of our friends.
[00:58:07] Speaker C: I'm not much of a snack.
[00:58:08] Speaker F: Consider this an opportunity for you to change your ways.
[00:58:13] Speaker B: You've got a good point. Next time, we smash them first and talk later.
[00:58:18] Speaker F: No, no, I mean, not hurting other people.
[00:58:21] Speaker B: Oh. But.
[00:58:22] Speaker A: Hmm.
[00:58:22] Speaker G: Buddy. Yeah. Talk first, see what people want, and maybe don't see. Smash.
[00:58:30] Speaker C: Maybe you can both come out on top.
Not you and the other troll. I mean, you and the other person.
[00:58:37] Speaker B: All right, now I understand why that might be a situation.
[00:58:40] Speaker G: This is how we become friends with other people.
[00:58:44] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, I. For a second there, I was gonna just come up and bite you like he was swinging his hatchet at you. But then I took another look, and I was like, I could see us being friends.
[00:58:55] Speaker G: Yeah, the best of friends.
[00:58:56] Speaker B: Yeah, at least for the time being.
[00:59:00] Speaker E: Speaking of that shallows, we should move on.
[00:59:03] Speaker G: Yeah, probably.
[00:59:05] Speaker F: What's your name?
[00:59:06] Speaker B: My name?
[00:59:09] Speaker E: Guys, I don't speak yoten I've been translating for you.
[00:59:13] Speaker F: That's so funny. That's so funny. You don't need to speak the same language.
[00:59:17] Speaker G: We've been having a full blown conversation.
[00:59:19] Speaker E: Alan's just sitting there like whispering in your ear what he's saying or.
[00:59:22] Speaker C: No, I like it better than you're. You're charming him by just grunting along with him.
[00:59:30] Speaker G: I become Tim the tool man tailor.
[00:59:34] Speaker D: It's mumble text.
[00:59:38] Speaker B: My name is Zulga. Tib.
[00:59:41] Speaker G: Zulgteb.
[00:59:42] Speaker B: Zul ga teb.
[00:59:43] Speaker G: Zul gheteb. That's a great name.
[00:59:45] Speaker F: There is no Dina. There is only Zul.
[00:59:49] Speaker A: You didn't bite me. I do appreciate it.
[00:59:51] Speaker B: I tried. I'm sorry.
[00:59:55] Speaker G: It's okay. It's okay.
[00:59:56] Speaker A: You didn't try very hard.
[00:59:57] Speaker F: Maybe your teeth knew better than you did.
[00:59:59] Speaker A: It's like you knew that we were going to be friends.
[01:00:04] Speaker B: Yeah, I could try again if you'd like.
[01:00:06] Speaker E: No, no, I'm.
[01:00:07] Speaker A: Nope.
[01:00:07] Speaker E: Don't need in this conversation. Music. I'm going to look at nearest. Like, how much longer are we going to be friends?
[01:00:12] Speaker G: 1 hour.
[01:00:13] Speaker E: We should move.
[01:00:14] Speaker F: Why don't you just head on out and we'll go see your boss.
[01:00:17] Speaker B: Hey. Oh, but you're my friends now.
[01:00:19] Speaker A: I tell you what, as a friend, we should probably get rid of the weak one. Yeah.
[01:00:26] Speaker B: Oh, you're right.
[01:00:27] Speaker E: Should bury him.
[01:00:28] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:00:30] Speaker B: You bring all sorts of nasty critters up here looking to try to take a chomp out. I'm gonna go ahead and get rid of this one.
[01:00:37] Speaker G: That's a good point.
[01:00:37] Speaker B: I'll meet you all back here in what, like 45 minutes?
[01:00:40] Speaker D: Takes time to dig deep enough.
[01:00:43] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:00:43] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:00:43] Speaker E: Just. Hey, that works.
[01:00:45] Speaker A: I don't run into anything like, uh, lenormy or something.
[01:00:48] Speaker E: We did.
[01:00:48] Speaker B: Oh yeah. That's how we lost Jerry.
[01:00:51] Speaker E: That's what that was Zulkatub.
[01:00:55] Speaker A: And Jerry, as you say that he.
[01:00:58] Speaker E: You see.
[01:00:58] Speaker A: I know. Just look back at you like, oh.
[01:01:01] Speaker F: We killed Olinorm that had killed a troll.
[01:01:04] Speaker G: Yeah.
[01:01:05] Speaker B: Thank you. I knew I liked you just a.
[01:01:06] Speaker E: Day before you showed up. Actually.
[01:01:08] Speaker F: We avenged your questions.
[01:01:11] Speaker A: Moving on.
[01:01:12] Speaker B: Right.
[01:01:13] Speaker D: And he just reaches down, just picks up the other troll, just like slings him over his shoulder.
[01:01:18] Speaker B: Right. Well, I greatly look forward to exhilarating conversation with you on my return.
[01:01:24] Speaker F: Alright, we'll be waiting.
I hope you actually learned something from this.
[01:01:31] Speaker G: I doubt he did. He's under a spell.
[01:01:34] Speaker E: Let's go. Let's go.
[01:01:36] Speaker D: Oh my gosh.
[01:01:36] Speaker G: Does anyone have any. I need to bathe.
[01:01:40] Speaker E: Press the digitation.
[01:01:42] Speaker G: Covered in trolls.
[01:01:43] Speaker C: I also press the digitation.
[01:01:45] Speaker E: You.
[01:01:46] Speaker G: Thank you.
[01:01:47] Speaker E: It probably didn't get all of it.
[01:01:48] Speaker G: Do we have cologne or something?
[01:01:50] Speaker E: Press the digitization.
[01:01:51] Speaker C: I also press the digitation.
[01:01:53] Speaker E: I like to imagine you're just undoing what I'm doing.
[01:01:56] Speaker F: I've got actual stuff if you want.
[01:01:58] Speaker E: Can we just travel, action, prestigitation, Nero's until she feels clean.
[01:02:02] Speaker G: It's gonna take, like, an hour.
[01:02:05] Speaker C: We get back to Joel. Okay, now I can finally bathe.
[01:02:08] Speaker D: Unfortunately, you don't have an hour because shortly after you push forward through the clearing, you see just a little bit of the ways ahead into the forest is a woman with long blonde hair.
[01:02:24] Speaker C: Oh, a woman.
[01:02:26] Speaker D: And dressed in furs and a cloak, talking to another troll. This is not a frost troll. It looks different, but standing at her side is a large black wolf.
And perched in a tree nearby is a large bird of prey.
[01:02:45] Speaker F: Bird. V bird.
[01:02:46] Speaker E: We found her.
[01:02:47] Speaker D: And that's where we'll end this episode.
[01:02:49] Speaker F: Here we go.
Boss fight.
[01:02:53] Speaker E: I'm.
[01:02:54] Speaker A: That's.
[01:02:55] Speaker E: I love how you've done this.
[01:02:57] Speaker F: Quick sacrifice in our. So we can.
[01:02:59] Speaker E: I have no level one spell slots.
[01:03:03] Speaker D: And the hero point for this episode goes to Sam for how Val handled this conversation with the trolls, getting it set up, attempting diplomacy, helping to distract and let everybody coordinate and position how they wanted in case of a fight, which did, in fact, break out. So for that and dealing the final blow. And dealing the final blow.
[01:03:26] Speaker F: Yeah. Between me and Inar, we did, like, 50% of itself both. No, you did most of it, but I dealt about as much. But it was already dead.
[01:03:34] Speaker E: Well, we can't. Petite also stopped its regeneration.
[01:03:37] Speaker F: Yeah.
[01:03:37] Speaker G: Yeah, that's true.
[01:03:38] Speaker D: Yeah. If it hadn't been for that fire shot from petite, it would have just gotten back up.
[01:03:43] Speaker C: All right, so I get the point.
[01:03:43] Speaker F: It was a group effort.
[01:03:45] Speaker G: You guys all get.
[01:03:48] Speaker F: I'm gonna go and consider what the repercussions of leaving this troll alive might be. And also look in the mirror and practice my charm.
[01:04:00] Speaker D: And we'll see you all in the next episode.

[01:04:41] Speaker G: I do appreciate your kind.
[01:04:44] Speaker E: Just be canonical. Southern accent.
[01:04:47] Speaker F: Well, I was singing y'all my Jelana square, y'all.
[01:04:51] Speaker G: He be the weaker one of us, too. He got done taken down by a bird.
[01:04:56] Speaker F: That darn vermin.
[01:04:57] Speaker G: A gosh darn raven.
[01:05:00] Speaker C: Oh, my goodness.
[01:05:01] Speaker G: And we're back to square one, where this all began.
