[00:00:00] Speaker A: This episode was recorded before the SAG AFTRA strike commenced. We at Atomic Broadcasting wish to show solidarity in their fight for a livable wage. To learn more about SAG AFTRA, feel free to follow the links in the show notes. [00:00:18] Speaker B: You are listening to an Atomic Broadcasting production. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the feature presentation. And remember, do your part, such as like, comment rate. And don't forget to tell a friend. [00:00:32] Speaker C: To tune in for an Atomic time. [00:00:44] Speaker D: Now, where did we leave off? Ah, yes. After incapacitating Alward in their duel, amir brought the unconscious Alward to his home. To recover Zavir, Neros and Uver sought the aid of an expert friend of Uvair's who was unable to help, but remarked that Neros looked familiar. Inspired by this, Neros showed her prized locket to UVair, who saw a familial portrait with one of the faces missing. [00:01:25] Speaker C: I watched Renfield over the week and it was great, guys. [00:01:29] Speaker B: Is that your wanting to watch it? [00:01:30] Speaker C: No, I have more than that to say. [00:01:32] Speaker B: It looks very interesting. [00:01:34] Speaker C: Yeah, I went in there, I expected like a horror comedy vibe because Dracula and stuff. It's an action comedy vibe. The action scenes are graphic, but amazing is radar, right? I think so, yeah. Because I got asked if I was 18 or 21 at the movie theater. So, I guess. Spoiler. [00:01:53] Speaker E: You look like a baby. Maybe you look like a baby, I guess. [00:01:57] Speaker B: A question. [00:01:58] Speaker C: Me and my beard. [00:01:59] Speaker B: On a scale of one to ten of Nicholas Cage, ten being the most cageiest. Cage. What would you rate this movie as? [00:02:05] Speaker C: Oh, gosh. So I went to the Alamo. So throughout the whole thing considerably. No, it does. They showed all of Nicolas Cage, every single movie he's in and all of his most Nicholas Cagey part. [00:02:21] Speaker F: They really do. [00:02:23] Speaker C: Oh my goodness. It was like back and forth, bouncing around between like not the breeze and him. [00:02:30] Speaker B: Ghost Rider. [00:02:31] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:02:31] Speaker C: And Ghost Rider. It was great. [00:02:33] Speaker F: Nicolas Cage and Ghostwriter. [00:02:35] Speaker C: Why? [00:02:36] Speaker B: Something else? [00:02:38] Speaker C: Nicolas Cagey about a six or a seven. He's not in it a lot. That's good. But when he is in it, it's called Renfield. He steals the scenes. It's so good. [00:02:54] Speaker F: Okay. [00:02:55] Speaker C: I wondered because I've seen him as Ghostwriter and I was like, how's he going to be as Dracula? So good. [00:03:01] Speaker B: They play into it, I imagine. [00:03:03] Speaker C: After watching it, I literally believe Nicolas Cage walked up to whoever directed the movie and was like, I would like to be Dracula. And the director was like, I can make a story for you. [00:03:13] Speaker E: Sadly, nicolas Cage is very versatile. [00:03:16] Speaker C: He is surprisingly so small. Very small. Spoilers. For one of the fight scenes, they beat a dude with another dude's arms. [00:03:29] Speaker F: Wow. [00:03:29] Speaker C: And it is amazing. [00:03:31] Speaker F: That sounds great. [00:03:32] Speaker C: It is great. [00:03:33] Speaker F: I want to see this. [00:03:35] Speaker C: Watch it. [00:03:35] Speaker B: How was Nicholas Holt? Who? That's his name, right? The guy who plays Renfield. [00:03:40] Speaker C: I didn't know his name. He's great. [00:03:41] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. I've liked what I've seen, which is mostly X Men. [00:03:45] Speaker C: They also have I suck at remembering names. She's really funny. [00:03:52] Speaker G: That nails it down. [00:03:54] Speaker B: Wow. [00:03:54] Speaker F: All right. [00:03:55] Speaker C: No, she's an Asian actress. [00:03:57] Speaker F: Aquafina. [00:03:58] Speaker C: I don't know her name. You could say every Asian actress. Aquafina. Let me see a picture. [00:04:05] Speaker F: Do you want to see the cast that I'm looking at right now? No. [00:04:07] Speaker C: Let me see it's. [00:04:08] Speaker F: Aquafina. [00:04:11] Speaker C: She is amazing in the movie as well. Everyone in that movie. Everyone in that movie was, like, perfectly ten out of ten. Casted I want to go watch it again, but I'm going to wait until it comes out on, like, DVD or Netflix or whatever. [00:04:34] Speaker E: Well, there's a guy named Weird. [00:04:35] Speaker B: Kevin Ben Schwartz is in this movie. [00:04:37] Speaker F: Any relation to weird. [00:04:38] Speaker E: No, but his name is Michael P. Sullivan. [00:04:41] Speaker C: But Michael P. I also saw the Super Mario Bros. Movie, too. Like, directly after that. I want to watch that one. I wish I watched it in reverse order so I could have left theater feeling a bit happier than. [00:04:55] Speaker B: What Mario's like, not was kind of mad. [00:04:58] Speaker C: Mario's like a four. [00:04:59] Speaker B: I'm going, like, on the Nicolas Cage scale. [00:05:01] Speaker F: Yeah. If I go see that, it has. [00:05:07] Speaker C: Tons of references for people who love the games, so and I loved that and the music in it when they do the Mario music is amazing. But as a movie, I feel like. [00:05:20] Speaker B: This is off brand for you, seeing two movies in a heavy movie. [00:05:25] Speaker C: I'm not a heavy movie person. [00:05:27] Speaker F: What got into you? [00:05:28] Speaker C: Well, I wanted to go watch Renfield, and then I saw the Super Mario Bros. Movie, and I was like, you know, that's popular. And I want to watch a lot of videos about it, but I don't want it to be spoiled for me, so I'm going to go watch that as well. [00:05:39] Speaker F: Fair. [00:05:40] Speaker C: And it was a double date night for me and my wife. [00:05:42] Speaker B: My wife will be listening intently to this opening because she wants to see Renfield. We're probably going to see it soon. [00:05:50] Speaker C: It's very good, but expect a lot of action, and the action set pieces are amazing. [00:05:54] Speaker B: Well, how about for someone who struggles with motion sickness? Did anything stand out to you? That would be crazy for that. [00:06:01] Speaker F: A lot of swirls. [00:06:02] Speaker B: Keep in mind, most like Marvel movies trigger it. [00:06:06] Speaker C: I don't think there's a lot of swooping shots. [00:06:09] Speaker B: Cool. [00:06:09] Speaker C: From what I remember. [00:06:10] Speaker G: But have you guys watched the DND movie yet? [00:06:14] Speaker C: No. [00:06:15] Speaker B: Yeah, we haven't talked. [00:06:15] Speaker F: Speaking of, we were all supposed to go see it at one point, and then I think people forgot about it. [00:06:21] Speaker C: No, after today, no, I'm just bored after this session. Let's all go watch the movie. [00:06:26] Speaker F: I was waiting. [00:06:27] Speaker B: Sorry. [00:06:28] Speaker F: And then that never came. [00:06:29] Speaker B: I've been waiting as well. I guess I should just and then. [00:06:31] Speaker F: I went hiking with my daughter. [00:06:33] Speaker C: My wife is also waiting. You guys. [00:06:35] Speaker B: All right, love it. After this session, we will schedule a day. [00:06:39] Speaker C: Okay, perfect. [00:06:40] Speaker A: Or we'll just go just going. You guys ready to start? [00:06:45] Speaker G: Yeah. [00:06:46] Speaker A: All right. [00:06:47] Speaker F: No, wait. [00:06:49] Speaker B: Where are we going? [00:06:52] Speaker A: We're just going where we last left off. We see. Heymir. Walking down the streets of Joel with an unconscious Alward in his arms. [00:07:08] Speaker C: I forgot. So I know we've talked about this through the week. [00:07:11] Speaker G: I forgot about this. [00:07:13] Speaker F: No, I just have bad memories. [00:07:14] Speaker C: Do you remember me and him having a psychic duel and me losing? [00:07:17] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:07:20] Speaker C: It was like, the first 5 minutes of the session, and then we all got distracted by improv. [00:07:26] Speaker F: Why is Alward UN? [00:07:28] Speaker B: Remember when we started the episode all hyped for a duel and then Uber talked for the whole episode? [00:07:33] Speaker C: Do you not remember that episode? [00:07:36] Speaker F: I remember the end of it because I was in distress. [00:07:38] Speaker C: Do you not remember the, like, five minute duel? [00:07:41] Speaker F: No. I do now, but I was like, Why is Albert unconscious? [00:07:47] Speaker B: Because he lost the duel. [00:07:50] Speaker F: I'm like, Do I not remember him drinking or something? Is he passed out from Matt? And I'm like, Wait, no, that's something I would do. And apparently something Uber would do. So why is Haymir carrying him? [00:08:07] Speaker C: Albert did so much studying in the library, he took a nap and Hamir's. Just being a good friend. [00:08:13] Speaker F: Important question firefighter or Bridal style? [00:08:16] Speaker C: Oh, please tell me, Bridal. [00:08:20] Speaker E: You are going to cross the threshold. [00:08:22] Speaker B: So it's the question I'm either holding in my two hands in front of my chest or over my shoulder. [00:08:28] Speaker F: Over your shoulder? Firefighter Bridle. [00:08:32] Speaker B: That's a good question. [00:08:33] Speaker E: I'd like to think he's long enough that you're doing both. [00:08:37] Speaker B: I think I'm holding more bridle. [00:08:40] Speaker C: Albert's just a long boy. [00:08:42] Speaker B: I don't need to throw him over my shoulders. And I'm going to be presenting him to his mother. I'm holding him by two hands, not over my shoulder. [00:08:49] Speaker E: You could also be dragging him. [00:08:53] Speaker F: By the collar of his coat or something. Just come on. [00:08:56] Speaker E: I mean, he did just knock him out. [00:08:58] Speaker B: It wasn't my fault. [00:08:59] Speaker C: Yes, it was. [00:09:00] Speaker B: It was your behind. Let's not get into this. [00:09:07] Speaker A: You're unconscious. [00:09:08] Speaker C: Yes. Sorry. I'll stop talking. [00:09:12] Speaker E: So. [00:09:13] Speaker A: Hey, Mir. You are Bridal style, carrying Alward down the street towards his family home. [00:09:19] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm feeling hard. Judged by his dad. [00:09:24] Speaker C: As you. [00:09:28] Speaker A: Like, are you making a beeline for it? Making any detour? [00:09:32] Speaker B: I'm just going right there. [00:09:33] Speaker A: Going right there. [00:09:35] Speaker B: I'm carrying an unconscious man. I don't think I need to stop anywhere. [00:09:40] Speaker A: As you approach the Volden house, outside of it is a young girl. She's got a broom, and she's kind of, like, sweeping the steps up to the house, and she looks up and sees you, and her mouth just drops. [00:10:00] Speaker B: He just kind of looks at her holding out, gives a little bit of a wave, and keeps going to the house. [00:10:08] Speaker A: The girl just drops the broom and is like, mom, and runs inside. [00:10:17] Speaker E: Crap. I just realized I'm supposed to be his bodyguard. I have done a terrible job. [00:10:22] Speaker B: Tamir is going to kind of mutter like, that was your daughter, wasn't it? And then he kind of keeps going up to the door. [00:10:32] Speaker A: As you approach the door, it's opened by whom you know to be and we know to be Alward's mother. But she's, like, leaning against the doorframe, and her face is, like, pale white. [00:10:47] Speaker B: Don't worry. He's fine. He's fine, he's fine. [00:10:50] Speaker G: What happened? [00:10:51] Speaker A: He doesn't look fine. [00:10:53] Speaker C: Just unconscious knocks my head against the door. [00:10:58] Speaker B: I'm sorry. Now he's dead. [00:11:02] Speaker A: So she heads into the house and is, like, waiting for you to come forward, but you can tell by the way she's walking. She's kind of unsteady on her feet and kind of shaky. She doesn't look like she should be up and about right now. [00:11:18] Speaker B: Sit down. And where should I put him down? Does he have a room or where. [00:11:28] Speaker A: Just here on the couch. [00:11:29] Speaker B: All right. I set him down gently and then help her sit down if she needs to. [00:11:35] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:11:35] Speaker A: She pulls up a chair and just, like, puts her hand on Albert's forehead and feeling it, and she's like, what happened? [00:11:43] Speaker B: There was a misunderstanding between the two of us, and Albert got aggressive. [00:11:51] Speaker C: There was a misunderstanding. [00:11:52] Speaker B: So I beat your I don't know how familiar you are with his psychic talents, but he attacked my mind, and my mind resisted, and then he fell unconscious. [00:12:09] Speaker A: She does not say a word in response, but you can tell that she does not believe your story. [00:12:18] Speaker B: I know there's a lot to take in very suddenly, and I'm going to add more, but for you to try I understand. I'm a random person. I'm from Outward's party. I'm sure he's talked about the people he's working with. But on a more personal note, I was supposed to give you this. And I pull out that locket I got from the other night from Cadriel's ghost, which is Albert's dad's ghost gave me the locket, and I pull it out, and I kind of hold it forward to her. [00:12:49] Speaker A: She glances down real quick and looks back up at you, and she's about to say something. And then she does a double take and actually looks at the locket and then grabs it from you and is like, where did you get this? [00:13:03] Speaker B: I got this from Cadrel about ten years ago. I was served in the war with him. I'm not sure if maybe he mentioned me. My name is Hamier Helvig. I was good friends with him. We were close for the ten years we were there. [00:13:25] Speaker A: And how is it you came back from this war and left my husband there? [00:13:37] Speaker B: I didn't leave him there. I can talk about it, but I thought Alward might want to hear it too. [00:13:49] Speaker A: There's, like, a dead silence pause between the two of you and then suddenly, Howard's mother looks over to the side and just sees the younger sister's. Just been standing watching this whole conversation. And she's like, Lena here. And she hands her a few coins. Go to the market and pick up some vegetables for tonight's dinner. I imagine Mr. Helvig will be joining us, and we'll need a few more vegetables to make the food stretch. And Lena's like, but mom, she's like, no, just just go. And Lena reluctantly leaves. [00:14:31] Speaker B: I'm sorry to just show up like this. I wanted to meet you under better circumstances than this. Apologies for that. [00:14:45] Speaker A: She kind of just looks away from you and is just looking at Alward, and you're right. We should wait for Alward. I imagine there's much we should discuss. [00:14:56] Speaker B: I should be able to wake him up right now if you want. You should be able to just shake him up. [00:15:00] Speaker A: I imagine if he just succeeds on a fortitude check, you should be fine. [00:15:04] Speaker B: Actually, if you just shake an ally, they'll wake up. [00:15:07] Speaker A: Oh, yes, that's right. With an interact action. [00:15:09] Speaker F: I'll shake them away. [00:15:13] Speaker C: If it helps. I did get a 17 on a fortitude check. [00:15:16] Speaker A: You wake up as she's starting to shake you elward. You wake up. Just probably feeling a little bit dazed, lying on the couch in your living room with your mother looking worse than usual over you. [00:15:36] Speaker C: Are you okay? [00:15:39] Speaker A: I'm fine. I'm fine. How are you feeling? [00:15:42] Speaker C: My head hurts, but how did I get here? [00:15:48] Speaker A: Well, this hamir just carried you over here unconscious. Do you not remember what happened? [00:15:55] Speaker B: Hamir is, like, whispering in the corner like he's talking to something. What do you want me to say? I don't know what to say. [00:16:05] Speaker C: So Alward's gonna take sort of stock of the room and everything. And I feel like, as he does once he sees Haymir, he fully remembers what's going on, but he doesn't know what to do. So he's just gonna, like, angrily stare daggers at Haymir, hoping that Haymir will just leave. [00:16:28] Speaker B: He's looking at me now. [00:16:32] Speaker A: He said he's a friend of yours. Do you know him? [00:16:35] Speaker C: He was one of the people who was supposed to guard the caravan on the way to the mines. He's the one who brought up Father. [00:16:48] Speaker A: He said that you two had had a disagreement. [00:16:52] Speaker B: Misunderstanding, really? [00:16:54] Speaker C: I don't think there's much to misunderstood. There's context I don't think context could explain. [00:17:02] Speaker B: I think in this circumstance, it think to an extent. I don't feel any better about what you saw than you do, Alward. [00:17:12] Speaker A: What were you fighting about? [00:17:16] Speaker C: Can I get a vibe check on her, like, how she feels? I know you said she looked worse. [00:17:21] Speaker A: Than where, but she kind of has the look of somebody who's like how do I describe this? You know when somebody's not well and they have a shock and it sets them back? That's exactly what's happened here. That's not a metaphor. [00:17:41] Speaker B: There was information about Cadriel's death that he didn't get the full picture of, that I wanted to talk to you and him about. [00:17:53] Speaker A: You were there for Cadriel's death. [00:17:57] Speaker C: Now, hold on. Do you feel okay? Like, you're fine? [00:18:03] Speaker B: There's going to be a lot of information. Some of it might be quite I don't know if traumatic's the right word. [00:18:10] Speaker C: I feel like traumatic is the right word. [00:18:12] Speaker B: Okay. All right. You're the smart one. [00:18:17] Speaker A: I want to know. But Alward, you can tell she's, like, not in a good place right now. [00:18:25] Speaker C: I'm going to go brew some tea, and then I'm going to have my unseen servant in the house go brew some tea. [00:18:33] Speaker B: Gaidrill always made me do all the talking. Kind of says that to himself in the corner. [00:18:41] Speaker A: So has Alward left to the kitchen, or do you just send the unseen servant? [00:18:46] Speaker C: So he got up to go, and then he sent the unseen servant, and he's sort of just watching it because it's more of a complex task. So anything it can't do, he's going to go and help. He wants to stay inside of his mom and Hamir because he doesn't trust Hamir for obvious reasons. [00:19:08] Speaker A: So as you're making the tea, Valia, Alward's mom looks at Hamir, and she's just like, what do you know about Cadriel's death? [00:19:20] Speaker B: A lot. I was there when it happened, but I feel like there's a lot more that's going to be needed explaining than just how exactly he died. There's a lot of context behind what happened, so if you don't mind, this might take a couple of minutes. [00:19:42] Speaker C: I'm going to come back with two cups of tea and give my mother one with some honey and sugar, and then I'm just going to sit down with one. She's like, I feel like you should leave and sip. [00:19:55] Speaker B: No, I have stuff I need to say. [00:20:00] Speaker A: Alward Velia, like, reaches out and puts a hand on your shoulder. She's like, I want to hear. [00:20:10] Speaker B: Well, when I was a boy, I ran away from home. When I left Tomgrove, I was young and brash, and I found a small town, met a woman, fell in love, got married, those sorts of things. When she was pregnant is when the war started. And when I got called away, I volunteered to go fight. And that's where I met Cadriel and a friend of ours, Trov, he was a commanding officer at the time, and Kaidriel and I were like brothers in the unit. We got very close over the years and helped each other write the letters we sent back to our families. During the war, a lot changed between us as people. We weren't the same people we were when we left. We spent a lot more time harassing the people we were protecting than fighting the undead. It felt at times, but we weren't very proud of that. When the war was getting worse and the Whispering Tyrant forces were heading to vigil, the capital of Last Wall, which we were helping defend. We made our way there, but on our way, there was an old temple that had risen, ruins and stuff, and we rested. I'm not too sure what happened to people, but as we were resting near there, one by one, people started breaking ranks and heading in like they were called to go in there. But I didn't feel it like everyone else did. It was strange. I went with them, and inside of the temple was this. And I pull out my chalice and kind of set it down on something. Something about it affected the minds of almost everyone there. The first guy who went up to it went manic, started attacking some of the others, and it spread like a wildfire. Everyone started drawing their weapons, trying to get the chalice and killing each other for it. But I didn't feel what they were feeling. And I don't know why, but Cadriel came at me to try and kill me, and I tried to subdue him as best as I could, but ended with my dagger plunged in his throat. [00:23:39] Speaker A: At that, Valia just, like, turns away, hand over her mouth, just, like, overcome. [00:23:46] Speaker B: And then I ran away. After everyone was dead and I had the chalice, I just didn't know what else to do. I just ran. The chalice has 13 symbols on it. Those are the 13 people I killed that day, and they've been haunting me ever since. Your father is a ghost in this room right now with me. That's part of why I came along with you, Howard. [00:24:17] Speaker A: At this point, Valia is just beginning to sob. [00:24:21] Speaker B: I think you should, um right, yeah, sure. I'll take off. That's fine. You'll know where you know where to find me. You need something? [00:24:35] Speaker C: Howard's just consoling his mother. Ignoring Hamir. [00:24:40] Speaker B: Yeah, I guess. Hamir is on his way out. He looks over, and you're consoling her, and your father's ghost is there with you. But kind of gets pulled along with me as I leave. [00:24:54] Speaker A: And the camera kind of looks at Know, his arm wrapped around his mother's shoulder. We see Velia crying, tears falling. Camera moves down, and we see held in her hand, the chain with the medallion that Hamir had handed her. And then we cross fade from that medallion to a locket held in Uvair's hand as he's looking at the painting inside. A painting of two fetchlings, a woman and a man. The woman bearing a striking resemblance to Neros, and the man having seemingly no face at all. [00:25:37] Speaker G: I can certainly see that this is your mother. But who is the man? What happened to his face? Why is it cut out? [00:25:48] Speaker F: It's not cut out. I don't know what you're talking about because I can see. You can't see his face? [00:26:02] Speaker G: No, I can't. [00:26:06] Speaker E: Can I see his face? [00:26:07] Speaker A: If you look at the locket, you see the same as UVair. It almost looks like whoever was painting the portrait just kind know, did the underworking and like the general shading for a face and then just never came back for details. [00:26:20] Speaker E: Beros there's literally nothing there. [00:26:23] Speaker F: But there is. [00:26:27] Speaker G: What does he look like? [00:26:29] Speaker F: I don't know. [00:26:36] Speaker A: Gene Wilder? [00:26:40] Speaker F: He looks like Nicolas Cage. [00:26:44] Speaker B: I can just say when Zafir popped in, can I see it? I just imagined him walking over and hopping, trying to look at the lock in. [00:26:53] Speaker C: I was wondering why you were laughing. Just grabs Uber's arm, just pulls it down. [00:27:01] Speaker A: But no, like in all seriousness, Abby, you can go ahead and describe whatever you think her father would look like. [00:27:07] Speaker F: Okay, so Neerus's father looks like golden age actor John Garfield. If you don't know who that is, just look him up and that's what he looks like. [00:27:20] Speaker G: I do not think that jugs any memories. I don't know if I've ever seen this person. [00:27:29] Speaker A: You're pretty sure that you haven't. [00:27:32] Speaker G: And it is OD that I can't see this person. [00:27:41] Speaker F: Neither of you can. [00:27:43] Speaker G: Zafir as well can't see it? [00:27:45] Speaker E: Nope. He's just a blob. But it's almost like you're riding in that cave. Remember the chicken scratch? [00:27:53] Speaker G: Yes. [00:27:54] Speaker E: It was like you could see it, but we couldn't. [00:27:58] Speaker G: In all honesty, I couldn't see it after a while on even my own notes, that was most peculiar. [00:28:04] Speaker E: I mean, I couldn't read it anyway, but that's not a question. [00:28:08] Speaker G: But it is the same effect. Yes, but you do look like your mother, I will say. And I wish I could remember this for your sake. [00:28:22] Speaker F: Yeah, I wish she could remember too. This is the closest I've been to figuring out who my parents are, to who my family is. And you can't remember a thing and that's not your fault. I'm just frustrated. [00:28:36] Speaker E: For what it's worth, I don't remember either. I mean, I never knew them, but look, I'm just trying to help. [00:28:46] Speaker F: It really doesn't help, Sophia. But thank you for all the sentiment, I guess. [00:28:53] Speaker E: You're welcome. [00:28:58] Speaker G: I think we are both looking for something that is lost. You, your family, and your parents and me. My memories that somehow are connected. That are connected, yes, apparently. According to Siodire, I did know your mother. Even she was a companion of mine, that we traveled together. But I don't even remember that. Regardless that I know that there is a place that I can go, perhaps that I can refresh my memories at least. [00:29:38] Speaker F: If you're talking about the forest, yes. It's a bit of a gamble, don't you think? [00:29:43] Speaker G: It is the only card I have left. [00:29:47] Speaker E: How can we be sure that memory won't be erased too? You know, if we go to the forest fair? [00:29:54] Speaker G: I don't know. I don't know what caused it in the first place. I don't know why I appeared in the forest a few weeks ago before I met you guys. And I didn't know how I got there. I don't know how many times I've met Sarah Dyer. I don't know how many times that I've lost my memory on that subject. [00:30:15] Speaker E: What if you lost the memory of her mother because someone was trying to erase her parents? [00:30:27] Speaker F: I mean, my entire family line has been erased from history. [00:30:32] Speaker G: And what if they're connected? [00:30:37] Speaker E: What if you did it? [00:30:38] Speaker G: Apparently. What would I do it if I did it? Why would I be trying to because. [00:30:45] Speaker E: You don't remember doing it. You don't remember a reason. I think you did it. [00:30:51] Speaker F: I mean, that's a bit of a stretch. The fear. We're not quite there yet. Pointing fingers yet. [00:30:58] Speaker G: I don't know what I did or what I haven't done exactly. Regardless of what we need to do in the future, that we still has the matter of the town being in danger. Right. Severe. [00:31:13] Speaker E: Yes. Town's in danger. We've got about a month. I think I told you that about 2 hours ago, but yes, it feels like two weeks. [00:31:24] Speaker G: A lot has happened in these few hours, I think. But at the very least, we need to warn our family and make sure that they're safe. [00:31:37] Speaker E: Yes, I agree. We should regroup with the others, and we should decide what to do next. [00:31:43] Speaker A: Because. [00:31:46] Speaker E: I feel like there may be more information, especially from this helmet. I believe this may have something to do with that whole world ending king returning thing. [00:32:00] Speaker G: It is part is a mad king, and that is part of the puzzle. [00:32:05] Speaker E: And Hamir was the one who took believe? [00:32:10] Speaker G: Yes. [00:32:11] Speaker E: So he may know something. [00:32:13] Speaker G: He's told me everything that he knows about it. Hamir, I think, was with Albert, wasn't he? [00:32:19] Speaker E: Yes. I think before I left to do. [00:32:21] Speaker B: Mine, I was yes. Hello. What are you three doing here? [00:32:26] Speaker E: Well, see after you. So Neros knows about the helmet now. [00:32:34] Speaker B: That's fine. [00:32:35] Speaker E: And I don't want to give it to Alwoody just yet. [00:32:42] Speaker B: Why? [00:32:43] Speaker E: Because I believe there may be something more to it. [00:32:47] Speaker B: That's why I wanted to give it to him. [00:32:50] Speaker E: Well, here's the thing. So I found out that there is something bad coming, and it is possibly connected to the cult that tried to kill us. [00:33:01] Speaker B: Wow. Really, Zephyr? Is that what you have figured out? [00:33:06] Speaker E: And we talked to. [00:33:10] Speaker B: I'm not in a good mood right now. [00:33:13] Speaker E: We talked to an expert, and we kind of devised that. It doesn't matter who has it. We're all going to be in danger. And also potentially this entire town and possibly Alward and his family. [00:33:27] Speaker B: I was certainly aware that whoever has it is in danger. That's why I gave it to you. The town's in danger, though. [00:33:33] Speaker E: Well, I don't know if that's specifically tied to the helmet, but I believe it has something to do with the group that's trying to get the helmet. [00:33:38] Speaker B: Right. The cultists. The evil mad cultists. [00:33:41] Speaker G: But the magic that is on the helmet is partially divination. [00:33:44] Speaker B: Right. [00:33:44] Speaker G: In the event that has the helmet, including Albert, would be in danger if they had it. [00:33:49] Speaker E: So as long as he was with us, he would be with you? I would assume. [00:33:57] Speaker B: Assuming, I guess, that I'm staying with you guys after this job is done. [00:34:01] Speaker E: Well, I think we've all grown a bit together at this point. [00:34:07] Speaker G: It is regardless of I don't know. [00:34:10] Speaker B: If Albert's going to want me to stay in this. [00:34:13] Speaker E: I'll talk to him. Don't worry. [00:34:15] Speaker B: I just got finished talking to him. What? Is Albert at his house? [00:34:20] Speaker E: Well, we need to rec. I had to drop him off about these things. [00:34:25] Speaker G: You had to drop him off there? [00:34:27] Speaker B: Yes. He tried to kill me, so I knocked him out. [00:34:32] Speaker F: Wait, what? [00:34:34] Speaker C: I'm sorry, did you just say that's a little much? [00:34:38] Speaker F: Did you just say he tried to kill you? [00:34:40] Speaker B: Yes. I assumed that's what he was trying to do. He was lashing out. Quite childishly. [00:34:45] Speaker F: Thought he went to the library, but. [00:34:46] Speaker B: To be fair, I was probably deserved. [00:34:49] Speaker F: Why did he try to anyway? [00:34:52] Speaker E: Bad things can happen at the library. [00:34:53] Speaker B: It's because I killed his dad, like, ten years ago, and now his dad's haunting me. You've seen him? I was about to say UVair uber. [00:35:02] Speaker C: Doesn't look surprised. [00:35:04] Speaker B: Listen, there's a lot to get on about. I'll tell you, I'll recap. You what? I told him on the way to his house. Come with me and I'll fill you in. [00:35:13] Speaker F: Wait, are we going to go into his house? [00:35:15] Speaker B: So, ten years when I was a boy. [00:35:26] Speaker A: So our party is treated to a slightly more agitated, shall we say, version of Hamir's story, as he leads them back to the Bolton household. As they approach the house, you all see a young girl standing on the steps of the house, sweeping. She looks up, sees you all coming, and immediately just mom, and goes inside again. [00:35:51] Speaker E: I put my hand up and say, don't worry, I can talk to them. And I take a step forward in front of the entire group. [00:36:00] Speaker G: Have you been here before? [00:36:01] Speaker E: Yes. [00:36:01] Speaker B: I take a step back. [00:36:04] Speaker E: They treated me to dinner. [00:36:06] Speaker B: They were going to make me dinner, but then Howard kicked me out. [00:36:10] Speaker G: In all honesty, I don't think that. [00:36:12] Speaker E: Is a bad call at this point, hearing what you just did. I would have kicked you out, too. [00:36:17] Speaker C: I like to imagine he's mad that I kicked him out, not that he's mad that he had to recount the story. [00:36:24] Speaker E: Zafir knocks on the door three times and then a fourth. [00:36:30] Speaker C: Albert opens it, looks at everyone, sees Hamir in the back, shuts the door. [00:36:40] Speaker E: I don't think he wants to see us. [00:36:42] Speaker B: Tell him his family is in danger. He'll probably alwood. [00:36:47] Speaker E: Hey, Mir says, can you hear me through the door? [00:36:50] Speaker C: Please leave. [00:36:52] Speaker E: Oh, good, he can hear me. I'd like to discuss something in private. And if I say it too loudly out here, it. Might cause mass panic. [00:37:05] Speaker C: Albert opens the door. [00:37:11] Speaker E: May I come in? [00:37:14] Speaker C: Lena. [00:37:17] Speaker A: Alward's sister, is kind of like looking around from behind Alward at all the people outside the door. [00:37:24] Speaker C: We're going to need a lot more vegetables. [00:37:27] Speaker A: And that's where we'll end this episode. [00:37:31] Speaker B: I get to eat. Unless Alward kicks us all out. [00:37:35] Speaker C: Get out of nope. Just hamir. [00:37:37] Speaker A: All right, Sam, what new hero point did you get? [00:37:40] Speaker B: I took the hero point. Last second sidestep play. When you are targeted by a ranged attack, the strike misses. [00:37:47] Speaker C: Oh, nice. Nice. [00:37:49] Speaker B: Yeah, it's pretty solid. Thank you for this award. I'm going to go wrangle some voice actors. [00:37:57] Speaker F: Thank you. [00:37:58] Speaker A: Goodbye, and we'll see you all in the next episode. This has been an atomic broadcasting production. I hate how that's a visual joke. [00:38:36] Speaker F: It says, it's a very visual put. [00:38:38] Speaker E: Your hand out like a starfish and spread your fingers. [00:38:41] Speaker F: It's a face hugger. [00:38:42] Speaker C: And then say pew. Pew. Pew. [00:38:43] Speaker E: Pew. [00:38:46] Speaker C: I didn't like that. Try again. Tell it to try fish. [00:38:50] Speaker E: Well, here's another one. It said knock, knock. [00:38:52] Speaker C: Who's there? IDA. IDA who? I don't know, but IDA, guess you're home. [00:38:58] Speaker F: What? [00:38:59] Speaker B: All right. [00:38:59] Speaker C: I don't like these jokes. Stop.
